Greetings Fellow Animal Talkers!
One of the most important things to help you stay on track with your goals is to be accountable on a regular basis. To help you with that, once a week, please answer these simple questions. This Game is designed to help you become more consciously aware of your journey, to celebrate your successes and share any perceived “failures” so they can be acknowledged, healed and cleared. Mistakes are a necessary part of the journey. There are no right answers here and this is not a test. Just do your best. Doing this exercise will help you improve your skills and be more consciously aware at all times. Remember this is a journey, not a destination. The idea is for you to stay conscious and make progress.
NOTE: Only Gold Club Members are Eligible to Earn the Accountability Award (a Laser Coaching half hour private session, value $275, limit 4 per person per year).
Here’s how Gold Members earn their sessions:
1) Stay Accountable. Every Friday we post a new Accountability Discussion. In that post, you are invited to report on how accountable you have been that week. Your actual results are not as important as the fact that you are trying, taking action and sharing what’s happening for you.
2) When you’ve completed 12 consecutive weeks of accountability posts you will receive an email from the Coaching Club Moderator with the Subject “Congratulations – you’ve earned a laser session with Val.” This email will be sent after the new week’s Accountability Discussion has been posted to the Forum. If you miss a week, just start your count over the next week. (Note: All students will benefit from this exercise. However, you must be a Gold Member to earn a free session with Val.)
3) In the email, you’ll receive instructions on how to schedule your 30 minute private consultation. Use your time for animal communication mentoring, healing, and/or my help working with your own animal(s).
4) You have approximately 1 week from the time of the post on Friday to post your answers for it to count. The weekly period ends when the new Accountability Discussion is created. You must post to the correct Discussion for it to count. No cheating! You can’t wait for 3 months then do 12 week’s worth of reporting in 1 week! 😀
SILVER and GOLD MEMBER POSTING INSTRUCTIONS: Just copy these 5 questions into your comment below and answer them. Then click Post. You’re welcome to comment on anyone else’s posts. We’re here to learn from and inspire each other too!1.

1. Did you meditate this week? I missed one day. I do a 10-15 minute meditation using a couple apps on my phone.2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? I tried with my dog Sophie. I was opening a can of tuna and she was in the other room. I know she loves tuna so as I was opening it I mentally called her and said to come in for the tuna. She did not respond. I’m trying to figure out why.
3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week? That even though I’m so frustrated that after all these years of trying to communicate with animals, I keep at it.
4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week? My challenges are that I have difficulty quieting my mind and communicating.
5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT) No…I didn’t get a chance.
6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games handout in the resources section) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not? Yes. I did the cards and got about half right.

1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you? No, not formally as I am having a hard time getting back into meditation because of I am feeling on the go and having a hard time just sitting and being quiet.
2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not? Yes, I talked with Millie, my friend’s Old English Sheepdog as I had visit with her. I told her how proud I am of her for overcoming her fear of cars and crates. She hung around me and I felt like she was thankful for the session we had with Val and my friend said Millie never paid attention to people for as long as she did with me.
3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week? I am happy that I got to see Millie free of anxiety and the way she stared into my eyes was very meaningful.
4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week? The same challenge of spending time with it.
5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the featured animal in the Discussion of that animal if you have not already done so. Not this week, it went by before I knew it.
6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games handout in the resources section) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not? I play a game on my phone trying to guess what move to make before the game shows me what move to make.

1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you? Yes, not every day, but several times. One sunny, cool morning I sat outside with my cats nearby, closed my eyes, and took in all the sounds, scents, sensations. It was really enjoyable and relaxing.
2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not? No, though I hope to be able to get back to practicing soon.
3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week? Not much in the way of progress. I am working on the lessons, though, every chance I get.
4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week? I have not slept well the past two weeks due to Kemo’s issue with the lesion so that I tend to doze or my mind wanders when I try to meditate prior to initiating a conversation. I have to keep apologizing to Buddy that I intended to converse with him but couldn’t focus.
5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the featured animal in the Discussion of that animal if you have not already done so. I still am not able to do two-way conversations, but I am looking at Buddy in a broader scope. He’s a big, wise spirit disguised as a cat.
6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games handout in the resources section) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not? No, I’m still being aware of what my intuition tells me as I make decisions. It is really helping me to be more decisive and to express how I feel.

1. Did you meditate this week? Yes, about 10 hours among spiritual practices and yoga meditations.
2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? Yes with a big canine family (8 dogs) and a cat to present them the new entries: 2 pigs, rescued from a dramatic situation. According to their human, the communication was very helpful, not only because, beyond every expectations the two pigs joined the new family without manifesting any stress, but also because the communication helped to find the right place (where they eat and sleep) for them. That is near two dogs (mother and son) who normally show some behavioral problems. In fact they accepted the pigs without any problem.
3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week?
My first communication with pigs, really pure souls!
4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week?
To trust what I get!
5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? Yes, I did (posted). It was a very interesting and beautiful experience. Given Patricia’s feedback I would say it was a real connection. Among the lesson learnt: do not edit what you get, remain faithful to the message even if it contradicts itself.
6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games handout in the resources section) this week? yes, as usual I practice my favourite game that is talking with nature every possible occasion. I like it so much!
