ModeratorTo help you stay on track growing your communication abilities, each week answer these 6 questions. As an ethical bribe incentive, when you post your answers for 12 weeks in a row, Gold and Platinum members earn a free Student Breakthrough Laser Coaching Session with Val (regularly $125).
The 6 questions you are tasked with answering each week address multiple and interconnected areas and are clarified below. Please post your answers with specifics for each question.
The goal is to guide you to become more consciously aware of your journey, to celebrate your successes and share any perceived “failures” so they can be acknowledged, learned from, healed, and cleared.
You don’t have to be perfect, just do your best completing each assignment every week. Practice with animals and receive proper feedback about what you got (example: talk with Featured Animal Teacher) is the best way to know if you’re doing it correctly, if you’re making mistakes along the way, and help you discover what adjustments could help you improve.
Rather than copy and paste the same answers every week, the answers must be unique each and every week. If we feel you are not putting real effort into this or trying to hack the system, then you will be asked to try again. If you still don’t improve your efforts, then your weekly posting sequence count will start over.
HERE’S HOW GOLD & PLATINUM MEMBERS EARN REWARDS:
1) Each week there will be a new Accountability Discussion posted for the current week period.
Post your answers anytime from Thursday through Wednesday. If you miss the weekly deadline to post, you will have to start over with your weekly sequence count.
2) When you’ve successfully completed 12 consecutive weeks of posts you will receive an email from the Coaching Club Moderator with the Subject “Congratulations – you’ve earned a coaching session with Val.”
Your Congratulations email includes instructions on how to schedule your reward Laser Coaching session with Val. You can use your session for communication coaching, intuition development, mentoring, healing, and/or Val’s help working with your own animal(s).
Refer to your Welcome Module in your student member dashboard for more detailed instructions about the Accountability exercises and office policies.
6 QUESTIONS
Answer these 6 assigned task questions in the REPLY box below. Be sure to click the SUBMIT button at the bottom. If you did not do a task, you get 1 free pass during the 12 week period. After that if you’re still not making the effort to complete the required assignments, then your 12 week counter will start over.
1. Meditating is important to your progress because it makes it easier to connect and communicate with animals, releasing mind chatter, improving your ability to be fully present. There are thousands of different kinds of meditations, taking anywhere from just a few minutes to an hour or more. There are no good excuses to not making the time to meditate during the week. You have a Meditation Module in your membership with many of our favorites especially designed for our students.
Which meditations did you do?
2. Practice communicating with at least one animal each week to strengthen and grow your communication skills, and so you can get validation and confirmation. It is often easier to communicate with animals that are not your own. Visit our Animal Teachers page or our Featured Animal Teacher and share what you get so their person can give you the proper feedback to grow your skills, or correct and learn from mistakes in our safe community.
What is their name if you know it and what type of species? Briefly describe what you talked about. What did you discover from the experience?
3. Celebrating connections, life, feeling love, appreciation and practicing gratitude is important. There is always something to appreciate and for which to be grateful.
What are you grateful for this week? Post at least one.
4. Questions and/or Discoveries!
What questions do you have or what discoveries did you make about communicating with animals this week? Post at least one.
5. Communicating with our Featured Animal Teacher (FAT) of the month is a great opportunity to grow your animal communication skills. You are required to attempt at least one FAT communication per 4 week period.
Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal Teacher? If not, why not?
6. Which Intuition Development Lessons and Exercises did you do this week? You have many to choose from (in your student dashboard under the Welcome Module). These are not games, they are exercises I designed especially for you. Do not use an intuition game app. If you didn’t do one of our exercises, reconsider what you did do and instead of answering “no” or “none this week” (which will disqualify you from earning your reward), reframe what you DID do and which senses you noticed or focused on instead.
Which of the Intuition Development exercises did you explore this week? If you didn’t do one of our Lessons, what else did you do to practice growing your intuitive senses?
We look forward to reading about your week. You are welcome to comment on anyone else’s posts offering encouragement, loving support, and celebrating successes. After all, we are here to learn from and inspire each other too!Need help or have a question? Click Reply below, OR look under HELP in the top menu, OR email [email protected]
TIP: We recommend you type your answers elsewhere first, such as in a document in Word, Google docs, or Pages, and then copy and paste them into the Reply field below. That way if something glitches with your post, you won’t have to start over rewriting your accountability post.
NOTE: All students are invited to participate, but only Gold and Platinum Club Members are eligible to earn the Laser Coaching Session Rewards. Silver members can Upgrade to Gold or Platinum membership at any time by emailing [email protected] and letting us know your wishes. Put “Upgrade” in the subject line.

Platinum Member1. Meditations?
I have seen some really heartbreaking videos lately about farm animals and it angered me and weighed heavy on my heart. So, I had to say the Ho’oponopono prayer several times to them and meditate to the prayer video for myself, to send healing to their sweet spirits and remove the anger from mine. 😔 I also did a lot of active meditation, clearing thoughts while doing whatever I am doing. And, my fav, still keeping Val’s heart wisdom love as part of my daily, hourly, all the time 😄 vitamin. Staying in the heart love space so much really does the soul good.2. Communicate with at least one animal?
A baby house gecko. We had a baby house gecko loose in the hall at work and I was afraid he would get stepped on. Those little guys move SUPER fast and very hard to catch but I stood very calmly near him, connected with him and let him know I was going to save him from getting stepped on. After I connected with him, he came right to me and crawled into my hand, and I took him outside to a safe spot where he could find shelter and food. I seriously felt love and appreciation from him while I was holding him in my hand, I can’t really explain it in words, but I just felt the energy of love from him. He was so tiny, but I felt it! ❤️ I am so amazed at how critters who are almost impossible to catch just come to me willingly when they know I am trying to help. This week I had more animal visitors because we just had a good rain so in addition to talking to my pups, I got to chat with a lizard (he wanted some watermelon I was feeding to my favorite squirrel), a grasshopper, my favorite squirrel, some cardinals, woo hoo, the animals are back! LOL That was a rough dry spell last week not seeing them. 🙂
3. Grateful for?
I am grateful that I figured out a plan to get the rats hiding out in my attic to find a new place to live outside. For starters, I will schedule a session with Val to help me learn how to connect with the family matriarch (I tried on my own after listening to the masterclass, but I need to call in a pro (LOL) to help me because I can’t figure out how to find the matriarch). Then, I will have someone come and fill the holes (finally found a company who will do that WITHOUT killing the rats). Then I’ll buy catch and release traps for any that may have stayed behind after Val helps me on the communication part and release them outside. So grateful I have a plan now and the rats won’t be hurt! 🤗I am grateful how each animal I communicate with teaches me something new. Like with Smokey, he shows me something and while I may think it means one thing, he actually means something else, same image just different interpretation. He is teaching me to slow the tape down more and think of the entire overall conversation to come up with a better interpretation.
4. Questions/discoveries?
I very much want to learn how to communicate with a group, such as a group of rats or wasps. How do I reach the matriarch, queen, or the leader of the group to communicate a message? I want to be able to save the rats in my attic and some wasps at work but having trouble figuring out how to connect with the leader/matriarch. The masterclass was great, but I need some extra help. I am going to ask Val for some one-on-one training to help me learn how to do that. 🙂5. FAT communication?
I did. Smokey is such a sweet spirit. Elizabeth’s feedback was super helpful. I remember how I felt on the couple things I didn’t interpret quite correctly so next time I can dig a little deeper and slow the tape down a bit more to get the correct meaning of what I feel from the animal. For example, when he showed me Elizabeth putting her arms around his neck, I thought he wanted a hug, but I may have misinterpreted that – he may have meant that she needed to scratch that very spot on his neck because of a pesky itch he had. He kept reminding me of that itch and since he apparently isn’t a “hugger” per se, I may have misinterpreted that additional message and thought he meant something else. 😅 I’ll be better prepared for him next time. LOL 🥰6. Intuition Lessons/Exercises?
Tuning into nature sounds and listening for different birds and squirrel calls. Trying to stay aware and notice less obvious things. If I can practice zooming in and out on what I see and hear, it should hopefully help me fine tune “the video” so I can better interpret messages I get on AC. Apparently, my clairsentience is in full swing because the feelings come fast and furious so I need to practice getting better control so I can slow it down and not miss something an animal is trying to tell me.-

Platinum MemberShelly, after you communicated with Smokey, I gave him a big hug and he didn’t resist or tense up like he usually does, so you could have been right. Of course, he was eating at the time, so he could have just tolerated me, ha!

Platinum Member1.Stress releasing with meditation music. Just sitting quietly to still my mind and thoughts which have turned dark. It is hard to do things when you are in so much intense pain. I seemed to have given up on a lot of things but then sweet Layla says keep going. The fall I had was a very nasty one and I am trying to hold on until my body heals.
2.A dragonfly sitting on a chair. I asked it what it was doing there and got the feeling it said resting and then it flew away.
3.I am so grateful for my husband who has been helping me as much as he can with household chores. The swelling has gone down in my foot and shoulder, my knee is starting to heal from the cuts and bruises and I am grateful for answers from the universe. Although nothing was broken , everything was sprained including my left hand.
4. I discovered the birds and insects in my yard use a unique way of talking to me. They went to the hanging water container, then to a nearby tree and looked at me. When I asked what did they need, they flew back to the water. It needed cleaning and changing and they let me know.
5. I have not tried because I don’t think they would hear me through the pain.
6.I went for a quiet walk with Layla and I listened to the sounds around me. The birds singing in the trees, the cardinal’s call, the blue jays calling, the crickets chirping, the moaning and howling sound of the wind as it strongly blows through the trail promising rain and storms and weather yet to come. The sounds in the swamps. I also noticed the changing color of the leaves.

Platinum Member1. Which meditation(s) did you do? Post at least one.
Twin hearts meditation alternating with The Great Invocation, Forgiveness meditation, Heart wisdom love connection meditation, stress busting meditation.2. What is their name if you know it and what type of species? Briefly describe what you talked about. What did you discover from the experience?
I made a perfunctory connection with Marley /ATH but could not pursue it as it’s been a tiring week with issues involving two of my boys. I realize I need to be rested and feel fresh for a proper communication. However, I spoke to a number of Himalayan jays who have been visiting after a long time….I’m sure they brought messages from my Tikli, though I’m not sure it’s not my wishful thinking/imagination.3. What are you grateful for this week? Post at least one.
I am grateful that despite being rather tired, I’ve persisted with meditations and pranic healing spiritual practices.4. What questions do you have or what discoveries did you make about communicating with animals this week? Post at least one.
I have been thinking of a question related to Shelly’s question in the accountability post. If a communicator is speaking with 2 or more animals simultaneously, can all the animals hear what any one is hearing or saying to the communicator?5 Did you communicate with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If not, why not?
No, I always do it first with Val’s guidance during the call.6 Which of the Intuition Development exercises did you explore this week? If you didn’t do one of our Lessons, what else did you do to practice growing your intuitive senses?
I jumped from #1 to 4: reading exercises ….I tried to do it with the opening scenes of one of my all time favourite, The wind in the willows! However, I was simply visualizing the scenes, and next week I will focus on doing as directed, picturing it for the animal. -

Gold Member1. Which meditations did you do
Stress busting. Calming the mind and anything else that can quell my anger at the attitude and behavior of the guardian of Tuxedo Princess. Also called on angels, guides and other species that are available to help injured Tuxedo Princess
2. What is the name (or species type of the being you practiced communicating with
Spent the week and continue to do so, comforting, talking and looking after Tuxedo Princess. Her right leg is injured and swollen. Importantly, Tuxedo knows she is safe, and will stay with me (often does anyway). I will be with her till recovers and takes care of her. Prepared her that a vet visit may be in order. Her job is to rest and recover. For four days she slept almost nonstop.
Gradually she improved, hobbling on 3 legs. She continues to make progress, having regained most of her strength, is more steady on 3 legs, eating more and staying indoors.Greeted animal as I passed them
3. What are you grateful for this week
Grateful Tuxedo trusts me to help and support her.
Grateful have started to learn about animal energies and animal chakra clearing. Sent crystal energy healing and Chakra balancing to Tuxedo. Hope I perform this correctly
Ungrateful to Tuxedo Princess’s guardian who after 4 visits from me plus another person’s visit still does not appear to want to help Princess. There’s additional information relating to this complicated incident
Grateful that last night I managed to sleep better than previous nights due to worrying and checking on Tuxedo. Plus her waking me up in the early hours of this morning wanting head rubs before resettling down for few more hours of sleep
4. Questions and/or Discoveries
Discovered the different swirling physical sensations within my body reacting to Tuxedos’ injury and guardians unresponsive concern to his pet – Tuxedo Princess
5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal Teacher
No. Had planned to but circumstances took over.
6. Which of the Intuition Development exercises did you explore this week.
Didn’t do exercises per se but used my instincts, intuition in confronting Tuxedo Princess’s guardian and his lack of concern and well being of one of his cats

Platinum Member1. Which meditations did you do?
I tried a few meditations, Heart wisdom, Prayers of the Heart, Favorite beginning meditations and High Level meditation. High Level was my favorite. It was quite powerful, but I still prefer my Hemi-sync guided meditation. It has affirmations that promote goals for health, abundance, career and more. I ’ve applied them to this course. I then add thoughts of my own at the end. I continue to meditate daily.
2. I chose Carmen Andia’s , Stormy who is on the ATH page, a beautiful cat with intense eyes. I’m naturally attracted to cats but this one seemed special. However, I really didn’t know what to do or what to expect. I decided to just start asking questions. I learned that he was hungry, he liked to play and sleep and he was “very old”. This last one intrigued me because he didn’t’ look that old. Later I read other comments and some referred to him as an “old soul” and that seemed to fit. Others also said he liked to play and sleep. Nothing about being hungry, however. He told me a story about running away, being found, and how scary it was. And that his health was good but he had hurt his back paw once. Haven’t got validation from Carmen yet. Another interesting similarity with other commentators was that there were no children in the household. I also got that there were two dogs and that there had been two cats but they were gone now.
It was interesting to see the similarities with other commentators, but it will be even more interesting to hear what Carmen has to say. I noticed that the dialogue was a little “choppy” but I think it will flow more as I get more experience. I heard from Carmen who said he was always hungry! It doesn’t seem that he has ever run away, at least not from this home. There were two cats that passed, but only one dog.
I also talked to Amy Malinowski’s dog Ranger. Ranger said he had a happy home with one female parent. He is young and likes to play ball. He got excited just talking about it. He said there were no children in the house but someone else came over regularly and played ball with him. W talked about my four dogs and four cats. He doesn’t like cats.
3. What are you grateful for this week? Post at least one.
This week I am mostly grateful that my husband is so hand and supportive. Our RO system (reverse osmosis) went down and he has been working for several days to get it back up! Additionally I recently discovered that I’m going to have to have cataract surgery with several options to choose from each going up in price. He has done all kinds of research for me and supports me in whatever choice I make. Just two (or one ) of the many things I’m grateful for.
4. Questions and/or Discoveries!
What questions do you have or what discoveries did you make about communicating with animals this week? Post at least one.
It takes practice, practice, practice and time, time, time. And animals don’t talk unless they are interested. (or I’m not doing it right!) How long does it take the average person to get proficient going the Club Membership route?
5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal Teacher? If not, why not?
I communicated with Smokey last week , but I went back to communicate again. He told me he liked his new life and his new companion(He objected to calling her a parent). I feel like Smokey has strong opinions and likes to do things his way
6. Which Intuition Development Lessons and Exercises did you do this week? You have many to choose from (in your student dashboard under the Welcome Module). I continue to work with the Deck of Cards exercise. However, |I bombed on my first try on the crayons. Got 6 out of 24. It obviously will take more practice. I will have to get some marbles or CANDY. Couldn’t find any marbles, soooo… got some M&M’s. Got 6 out of 23 first time out. Not much better than crayons. But I enjoyed eating the candy…much better than crayons. Will keep practicing. -

Gold Member1. Meditations: Breathing, Mindfulness
2. Who Did I Talk With: Messages of love and confidence sent to all three cats.
3. Gratitude: I am happy that x-rays have shown there is no problem in my back, meaning I probably have some soft-tissue damage in my glutes.
4. Discoveries / Questions: I have been wondering if/how my animals’ energy changes when they are purring.
5. FAT: I have not spoken to this month’s FAT. I still feel the pain medications/muscle relaxants are interfering with my own mental clarity and I don’t want that to confuse or impact an animal.
6. Intuition Exercises: I spent some time this week trying to feel if there is a difference in my cats’ energy when they are purring vs. when not. I have not come to any conclusions but I believe I will find there is a difference and intend to keep working on feeling it.

Platinum Member1. Which meditations did you do?
Had a very busy week at a new job this week, which has meant bringing a lot of work home with me.
Therefore practising mindfulness – focusing on everything I could see, hear and feel, whilst walking to work
Dropping into my heart everytime I need to calm or try to refocus.
Heart and love meditation before connecting with an animal this week.
1 x Kyle Gray angel meditation.
Also some cord cutting this week.2. Which animal(s) did I communicate with?
What is their name if you know it and what type of species? Briefly describe what you talked about. What did you discover from the experience?
I connected again with Patty’s Shiloh this week. Patty wanted me to ask about his food and his back leg, with a view to knowing what to do about it.
Whilst Shiloh told me about his background and sent me images about a racing accident and injured leg, I didn’t pick up too much about what is going on now.
Part of me wonders if that is because Shiloh didn’t want to share, or whether I was blocking the answers because I wasn’t confident about delving into health matters and giving incorrect information.3. What are you grateful for this week? Post at least one.
Starting back at work and getting an income again.4. Questions and/or Discoveries!
What questions do you have or what discoveries did you make about communicating with animals this week? Post at least one.
When it comes to receiving and giving information about an animals health, how much is too much? I would always advise a vet consultation and wouldn’t diagnose, but would like more guidance around this.5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal Teacher? If not, why not?
Not this week. Too much work at home.6. Which Intuition Development Lessons and Exercises did you do this week? If you didn’t do one of our Lessons, what else did you do to practice growing your intuitive senses?
Speaking to outdoor animals I pass and trying to guage or sense their reaction. I’m not picking much up from them yet though it does feel rushed, as I’m often in a rush or distracted, walking dogs or walking to work at the time. -

Platinum Member1. I’ve done the Stress Busting meditation and the Heart Wisdom Love meditation several times. I also did a new meditation when I listened to the Human/Animal Body Mind Connection masterclass. It was the Observer’s Stance Meditation.
2. In the Soul Contracts masterclass, I tried to connect with Rose, but our Teddy dog (a small Yorkie mutt) kept jumping in. So I talked to Teddy. She wanted to talk about what she teaches me and why she’s in my life. She reminds me of loyalty and to remember the littlest among us (they often have the biggest personalities). She teaches me love and to be curious and playful as I approach life. I loved talking with her!
3. I’m grateful that my work life is settling down a bit and I have more time for animal communication. I guess things often go in cycles or seasons. Why that’s a revelation to me, I don’t know, but I’m grateful that things don’t stay constantly busy! I’m also grateful that I have a small book (a chapbook) of fiction coming out soon. I’ve been working toward this for a long time.
4. Nicholas has come down with another lameness problem, this time in his back right foot. After listening to the Human/Animal Body Mind Connection masterclass, I’m starting to wonder if a small but painful injury in my heel is connected. I don’t believe in coincidences, but I don’t know which one of us this might have started with.
5. I’m looking forward to speaking with Smokey on the live call. It’s been interesting so far to see what people are getting from him. I’m so glad he’s enjoying the attention!
6. I’ve been visualizing scenes from an animal’s perspective. I’m not sure I’m doing it right, yet, but it’s been a lot of fun!

Platinum Member1.Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?
Yes I have been doing chanting meditation but very little silent meditation apart from in bed at night. I haven’t managed to sleep much at all this week so I’ve had to focus on staying awake for work and get through the week.
2. What is the name of the animal with whom you communicated this week? What did you talk about? What did you assist with or learn from the experience?
I have practised a little with Elsa and felt tree and earth energies – but that’s it. A very struggly week.
3. Name one thing you want to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week.
The animals are my friends. All of them. The spiders and flies especially.
4. Questions and/or Discoveries!
Why do I have such a struggle to sleep?.
5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If not, why not? If so, what happened (give us an overview of the conversation)? If you did, remember to post what you got in the Discussion with that animal if you have not already done so.
No not yet. Am looking forward to Saturday. I need the support of a group at the moment.
6. This week did you practice one of the Intuition Development exercises? If so, which one? If not, what did you do this week to practice growing your intuition for easier connection and communication with animals?
Again, I’ve been feeling energy from plants and earth.
