We are glad you are interested in practicing talking together with an animal!

To get started, greet the animal and ask if they have time to talk with you. Remember that animals also lead busy lives even though we may not see all that they do. If they aren’t available, check back later.

Introduce yourself and explain why you are reaching out to them: that you are a member of the Animal Talk Coaching & Mastery Club and learning to better communicate with animals and would appreciate their help. You can ask them any questions you want. Typically they do provide a response. Please share your impressions of their personality, energy, how they feel and any insights they may share with you. By sharing what you get, the animal’s person can provide you with feedback and others can jump in too.

Use the Forum SEARCH field (located at the top of the right column below the picture of the Featured Animal Teacher) to find more discussions involving this animal (or other animals with the same name).

Some conversations have been lively, and we’ve learned some amazing insights, and laughed at jokes. Remember that this is a safe place to practice. This is about practice and learning, it is not about getting it perfect. The animals have much to teach us, to share with us and we with them.

Hi Cheryl; I connected with George, he did a soft meow and a big stretch..lol
What a Sweet Boy!!!.. He’s a slinky!.. and doesn’t even mind his tummy touched!
Likes to climb up on things, likes being up high,.. loves attention, gets his motor running ( purring), like the song “born to be wild” came through.
Very gentle with his paws and claws.. he is very aware of his claws… and will give soft touches..
If George had arms, he would be wrapping his arms around you giving big hugs!.. He is like a baby.. :).. your baby 🙂
I feel you could cradle him in your arms and George would love that!
Life force 88%, healthy and happy
I asked if any message for you… George showed me something white like paper and shaped like a brick but little smaller in size.. and I see George looking at you with it in your hands and he is getting excited for it… like something wrapped in white…

I hope this resonates with you Cheryl… he is such a sweet boy, so gentle and caring.. he’s your love bug!
Thank you for giving us a chance to connect with your George

      Love and Light,
      Debbie

      Hi Debbie,
And thank you so much for communicating with George.
He is our new housecat. We think he was a covid kitty, and when people went back to work or moved on, he got left behind. He was picked up as a “feral” cat living on the streets in San Bernardino. He was put on the To be euthanized list right away, but a woman from a rescue organization was there to pick up a dog, saw George, realized he wasnt feral and took him with her. He lived with her and several other rescue animals for 18 months. He was available for adoption but no one was interested.
When our other housecat succumbed to kidney disease after her 22nd birthday, my roommate started searching and found George. It was love at first sight!
So whatever abandonment, hardships and scary experiences he had before, George has adapted well to his new Laguna Beach lifestyle!
So, yes, he is a very happy boy. Very loving and very affectionate. And very smart. You mentioned he is careful with his nails–that is spot on! If he taps my face with his paw, he is very gentle. He is the same with the other two adults who live here. He gets along with the 14-year old dog, and they gently run after each other in the house.
Yes, he is solid–like a brick outhouse. He only weighs 13 pounds but it is all muscle!
The white paper or note–I sensed it is a thank you or gratitude note. Even when he escapes outside, he never leaves the yard and always returns when we call him.He realizes he hit the winning lottery ticket when he came to live with us!
And yes, he is a climber, the higher the better. When he occasionally heads for the huge olive tree which he uses to jump onto the roof. It is the only time we have to coax him down with food to get him down.

I think you did very well. George just woke up and agreed with me.
      Thank you you again ❤️

        Love and Light,
        Debbie
