ModeratorModeratorWe are glad you are interested in practicing talking together with an animal!
To get started, greet the animal and ask if they have time to talk with you. Remember that animals also lead busy lives even though we may not see all that they do. If they aren’t available, check back later.
Introduce yourself and explain why you are reaching out to them: that you are a member of the Animal Talk Coaching & Mastery Club and learning to better communicate with animals and would appreciate their help. You can ask them any questions you want. Typically they do provide a response. Please share your impressions of their personality, energy, how they feel and any insights they may share with you. By sharing what you get, the animal’s person can provide you with feedback and others can jump in too.
Some conversations have been lively, and we’ve learned some amazing insights, and laughed at jokes. Remember that this is a safe place to practice. This is about practice and learning, it is not about getting it perfect. The animals have much to teach us, to share with us and we with them.

Inactive MemberHi Tatiana, Thanks for putting Evie out there for communication. I am new and struggling with this so please bear with me. I got that Evie’s favorite thing is to go for walks and that she prances when she walks. She likes to have her hair brushed and sometimes wears ribbons in her hair. She likes being small easy to fit on laps but likes to play more than sit on laps. I see a blue pillow, maybe her bed that she likes and a tan stuffed toy she likes to play with, may be a teddy bear. She loves to ride in the car and has a special seat. She is the only pet and likes to play with toys. She has lots of toys. Thank you Evie, you appear to be a very sweet and loving pup.

Platinum MemberHi Denise!
She does love going on walks and has a little pep to her step! I brush her weekly and I think she likes the feeling of being clean and looking nice. I have not tried putting ribbons in her hair, maybe she wants me to haha! She definitely likes to play more than be still or sit on my lap. I do have a blue pillow, but I think she is referring to her blue cooling mat that she mostly sleeps on at night. Her favorite toy is a small yellow tennis ball that squeaks. She loves to go everywhere with me in the car and has a special dog seat in the front. I do have a tortoise, but for her, I’m sure she feels like she is the only pet. She does have lots of toys, but she is absolutely obsessed with her little tennis balls.
Thank you for communicating with Evie! You did a great job!

Platinum MemberHi Tatiana, thank for allowing us to speak with Evie. She is beautiful!
I was drawn immediately by her deep, piercing eyes and intense look, which seems to speak volumes. She is cautious in her greeting.
Her energy is medium, breathing even and there is a lot of yellow around her aura. She has a medium, high pitched bark. She is soft and warm to the touch.
There seems to have been some kind of turbulence in her life in the past, which has settled down now.
Her favorite activity is taking leisurely walks, and she seems to like something round and brown (maybe some treat)?
Evie is an old soul, and her role is as a companion and anchor. She listens to you intently, and her message is to slow down.
I haven’t seen if there are any older responses and am very short of practice, so I hope some of this resonates with you.
Thanks again and much love to both of you.

Platinum MemberHi Nita!
Evie does love staring into people’s eyes. I bring her to work with me, and she will just sit and stare at people. She is cautious with new people. She will occasionally come up and sniff them; other times, she will keep her distance.
She does have a medium, high-pitched bark and is soft and warm to the touch. I would say her energy level overall is medium, but she can definitely have high energy as well and be super hyper.
As a puppy, she did have Parvo, and that took a toll on her. She does have separation anxiety and always wants to be with me. There have been a couple of instances where she had to stay home when I was out for a couple of days, and she did not take that well. But that hasn’t happened for a while. Now, I take her with me wherever I go, or if I am gone, it is for a short while.
She loves taking walks and going on hikes! The round brown thing is most likely her favorite treats that she likes. It is freeze-dried beef liver and they are brown and are shaped in little squares.
I also feel she is an old soul. She communicates with me a lot just by staring at me, and I will know what she wants. Her message of slowing down resonates, I am always on the go!
Thank you for communicating with Evie!

Silver MemberHi Tatjana
does Evie have a problem with diarrhea every now and then? I believe she has a delicate tummy. Possibly you are wondering what the cause of this is, because it is not constantly so, and try to adjust her diet. I feel you are always on the lookout for the best quality food for her.
I am only practicing, thanks.
Best wishes, Gabriela-

Platinum MemberHi Gabriela,
Yes, Evie has experienced recurring digestive issues since she was a puppy. She frequently has diarrhea and loose stools, and her stomach seems to be very sensitive. She’s also quite a picky eater, which makes it challenging to determine what she truly wants or tolerates well.
Val previously had a session with her and felt that some of the digestive imbalance could be connected to the vaccines she received as a puppy. Evie also had Parvo, which I believe may be contributing to her ongoing sensitivities as well.
You’re absolutely right — I’m always researching and trying to provide her with the highest quality food possible. She just doesn’t seem particularly interested in much of what I offer her.
You did a great job!
