This question is about how our universe functions. There seems to me to be a contradiction. On the one hand, things like: go with the flow, divine timing, surrender – imply a need to trust and allow. On the other hand, things like: nasty energy, a need for spiritual protection – imply a need to be on guard in in control. i’m trying to work out how to best “be”! Can you help with this Val? Thank you, Rosemary -

Hi Val, sorry to take up space again with Sunny, but am worried, and as usual, only you can unearth the cause. After you worked with him last month for excessive licking, he’s improved. Recently, there’s been another inexplicable symptom: excessive panting, when it’s not hot, or even running around, and drinking plenty of water. Routine blood work (23rd Sept) shows….neutrophils, cholesterol, salts and vitamin D are low, while lymphocytes, potassium and SGOT are very high, shows some infection. The vet diagnosed tick fever, but there is no temperature (in fact, sometimes lower than normal) or any other symptoms. He can’t explain the high potassium (no food that can contribute) or panting. Only you can figure this out! Is it something physical/the heart/tick fever, or still some stress, or the nasties that he’s prone to? Extremely grateful Val, thank you! (I’m just doing some holistic treatment, it’s been a week and the vet still hasn’t sent any medicines, nor do I want to give them)!

Platinum MemberUpdate! The heavy panting has reduced over the last couple of days, though he has not had any vet treatment for the severe infection, or the other issues in the blood report, just gave some herbs and homeo. So less serious, but hoping time permits, as I can’t figure out anything! Thanks again, Val!

Hi Val,
This question is to aid in understanding muscle testing and an animal’s intention. To preface, I struggle with communication when an acute illness/injury has occurred. My brain goes straight into medical mode. I try to confirm with muscle testing. I found Annie in the weeds one night, a weekend. She did not look well. Muscle testing checked a bee sting. Gave energy healing and homeopathics. She had superficial swelling to her chin and appeared uncomfortable. The next morning she was purring, had moved to the chair, but still not well appearing. I checked again, still said a bee sting. The next morning Annie was near death and she was taken to the vet. They said it was a poisonous snake. End organ damage and kindest act was euthanasia. Looking back, it was probably too late for antivenom when I found her. My question is why did my muscle testing consistently confirm bee sting when it wasn’t. Do our animals sometimes tell us something other than the facts to avoid unnecessary treatment or other outcomes? If I had known it was a snakebite I would have taken her immediately to the emergency vet. Thank you for sharing your wisdom Val. SusieAttachments:

Hi Val,
I felt led to ask why Coco isn’t eating his food everyday on this Q & A call. He will sometimes eat it every other day or every 2 day or longer. What would he like me to know about this? Thank you!Much Love,

After listening to the masterclass on separation anxiety, I wondered if this is something that could stem from, or be a re-occuring issue from a past life, rather than a current situation and how you would go about healing that.

Mochi has not been herself for a week and a half. I’ve noticed her poop has not been normal. Thursday morning, I woke up to cleaning diarrhea in her kitty litter. She has been on one Cosequin Chew per day for 31 days for her severe arthritis. She was able to be seen by her vet Thursday afternoon. Vet is concerned that her kidney disease may have advanced. They took blood but will not know results until Monday. Just for reference, Mochi does not like the vet or the assistants and they are afraid of her! So strange, because she is normally a loving cat. Anyway, 6 hours after the vet visit, she hasn’t gone pee or poop!
The vet is having me give her probiotic powder into digestive fiber food to help with the diarrhea for 6 days. Can anyone help Mochi? Is it indeed her kidneys? If it is, what does she want me to do to make her comfortable? If not her kidneys, what? And what to do before the vet wants to try stuff on her. Thank you!

Platinum MemberHello Everyone,
I got the results from the Vet for Mochi. All of her blood results came back in the normal range except the kidneys are still slightly elevated, which has been the case for the past six months. But now her Pancreatic Enzymes are elevated. Normal is 4.4. She has a 4.7. She is showing signs of Pancreatitis. She doesn’t want to eat, she is drinking lots of water, and her poop has stabilized somewhat. Now she only poops once or twice a day. She used to poop 3-4 times a day with 6-8 pees. Her pees are still 6-8.
I know the Vet wants to try antibiotics, get another ultrasound, and try other kinds of meds. I am hesitating on any of this. I know Mochi is not on death’s door! I want to see if there is a gentler way to help her. So far, I have found that she will eat her food if…I give it to her on a heated dish (the weather has turned cooler in the past two days) and only give her 1/2 of what she normally would eat. Oh, and I am giving it to her every 1-2 hours. She normally got her food every 3-4 hours.
I figure, for now, she needs to eat and drink. If I can do that, without undue stress on her, then I’m doing good.
If anyone has any suggestions or helps, I’m all ears!
Val, I wanted you to know that after the Q & A on the 11th, Mochi came up to me, as sweet as could be, and looked at me with her big, beautiful, blue eyes!! I haven’t seen them in a while because her pupils are always dilated. I wish I had taken a picture to show you. Sorry! I said to Mochi, “You really liked talking with Val, didn’t you?” She just rubbed up against me, and I sat on the floor loving her—–Thank you, Val!!!
With much gratitude,
Valerie
