ModeratorPlease post your questions and re-post questions you previously posted for our next Gold & Platinum Member Live Monthly Ask Val Anything about Animal Communication Call on Saturday, July 9 at 8:30 am Pacific / 10:30 am Central / 11:30 am Eastern Daylight Savings Time. Check the world clock for the correct time in your area. For many, the time will feel an hour earlier than our QA call in March.
NOTE: The deadline for your questions to be considered for the call is 12:00 noon Eastern, the Friday, the day before.
Note: We don’t want you to miss a thing, so please check the World Clock. For purposes of the converter we are located in the USA – Texas – Austin area or Central Time Zone.
Not sure what time that is in your time zone? Here’s a helpful time zone convertor tool –> https://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/converter-classic.html
NOTE: Check your Gold or Platinum member Course lesson on QA for a new call in phone number. (Q&A = Question and Answer)
If you call in using the Internet, please type in your name so we know who you are and don’t drop the Anonymous caller.
If your question is related to communicating with a specific animal, please attach their picture using a small sized image that is named with your specific animal’s name and your name. This allows all of us to practice our communications skills along with Val.
With all the great questions you’ve been submitting, we increased the length of the call up to 2 hours to provide more time for Featured Animal Teacher live communication and feedback AND to answer more of your questions.
NOTE: The Live Q&A Monthly Coaching Call is an opportunity reserved for Gold & Platinum Members Only who are in good standing in the Club (membership dues are paid up). If you’re not a Gold or Platinum Member and want to participate, email [email protected] and ask to be upgraded now. Call information will be provided by email to active members.
If, instead of calling in from your phone, you are using VOIP on the conference line, please include your name as any unidentified callers will be dropped from these private calls. We do not recommend using Skype for these calls. If you have any trouble getting onto the conference call live, email [email protected] to ask for assistance.
Calling All Questions! Post your question here no later than 24 hours ahead of the class time to assure that they are included on the call. Questions are normally answered in the sequence in which they are posted, so it is best not to wait until the last minute. Be sure to post before the deadline of 12 noon Eastern on Friday, the day before our QA call.
Remember to let us know if there are specific topics on which you would like more teaching.
Prior to the Call, I’ll review the questions posted and will choose how to best answer them in the time we have. Some questions may be combined or adjusted, answers combined to be of great interest to the group. Typically questions are answered in the order in which they are received and we may not have time to answer all questions during the call. Come prepared with your questions as this is your time to get the answers you need to move forward in deepening your animal communication skills. If you have a deep, personal or urgent question, you may be better served by signing up for a personal session.
There will be a recording of the call available after the call within 48 hours. However, student interaction can be the catalyst that produces remarkable insights, and your participation is vitally important. Please plan to be on the live call.
Thank you for being a member of the Coaching Club and for sharing your love of animals with all of your fellow students. I’m looking forward to hearing what’s on your mind and discovering how I can best guide you on your journey!
Love, Val

Gold MemberVal, when Roxy poops outside the box to get my attention, he gets my attention. How can I tell if he is in pain or just complaining about something?
You may remember when he was peeing in the box and then going directly into the bathroom to poop in the floor? He said he had a system and you worked with him to try to get him to use a different system and not to poop in the bathroom floor. Your suggested system was to pee in one box then go poop in the other one. He did not follow your system but for a while he was peeing and pooping in the big oversize box I got since he is huge.
Then he started peeing in the box and then pooping all over the apartment. I thought he had a new system, but you said he was in pain. So I eliminated a food I thought was the issue and he went back to peeing and pooping in the big box.
Now he is pooping outside the box again. This morning I found a poop in the kitchen floor. The previous two days I had found it in the middle of the living room area.
I thought perhaps the box had been used since I scooped it, but this morning I had just scooped both boxes and still he did not use the box.
Is he having health issues? The only food he gets now is the two turkey foods that were find for ages. Has he developed an issue with one of them? Is something else wrong? Do I need to dump and replace the boxes (which I plan to do today)? Or what!
How can I tell if he is in pain or what?
Thanks,
Margaret-

Gold MemberI dumped and replaced both boxes and I don’t think he has pooped outside the boxes since. Maybe that was his complaint. He seems OK now. Update since he previous post was so long ago.

Gold MemberLeftover from the last call – you’ve talked about animals being angels, guides, teachers, etc.. Do they ever NOT have a spiritual purpose, but are just animals here to live their own lives?

Platinum MemberHi Val!
Please remember the vaccines isue. The standard protocol imposed by vets.
What to do in case the vet’s opinion is “there is no other way”, than to give some vaccines, or some new medication? My Boumba has an issue with bad breath and a stomatites that it’s possible to degenerate to the point, where the doc has to remove all teeth. (At least in vets opinion back than).
About 2 years ago I have accepted a new very long term antibiotic shot that would last 2 weeks, very expensive and “extraordinary good”. I agreed, but when I reached home I have searched info on this magical treatment… and I was horrified that it just went out of trial phase, therefore newly approved and I have read that many cats die almost immediately after the shot, or a few days later, or any time up to 6 months… but the substance takes almost about 1 year or more to clear out from the body…
I felt disgusted and miserable and decided I would never medicate such ” extraordinary good” medication.
Thank Goodness it passed 2 years since than, but I always wondered if I will ever see a toll on his body.
Now that I am here, and learned so much I am applying the healing hands towards him and he loves it.
Everything is energy, and I am sure light conquers the dark in the end! 😊
Looking forward to hear your opinion!
Thank you!
Love and healing light go to you all! 💖-

Gold MemberHi Lucia,
I could not help read what you wrote and it hurts to hear about such things. I always strongly recommend finding a vet that resonates with your way of thinking and that makes you feel comfortable. May I suggest (an Barb can remove this if it is inappropriate) that you find a holistic vet you might like near you by finding one on http://www.AHVMA.org or https://civtedu.org/directory?country=231 if you are in the US or search the worldwide or “country” tab in those directories.
If the longterm antibiotic you are referring to is ‘convenia’ I have never seen any cat die because of it. It seems to be a good medicine, but obviously tough as it is so long lasting in the body. IT would be nicer to use more gentle medicine if possible.
Thank you for caring so much and I am sending Boumba healing thoughts. -

Platinum MemberHi Monique!
Thank you sooooo much for your thoughtful reply! 🤗
As soon as I have seen your post I have used the link and searched immediately because I would love to have somewhere around a holistic vet!
Unfortunately, as I live in Romania, the country is not listed, nor the neighbouring countries, like for example Hungary where I could travel to.
Austria is the first one closer, and than Germany which is quite a big and important country on Europe’s map and they have listed only 1 (one) holistic vet and Norway is so far away at the top of the map… 😃
Well, I am happy you are such a lovely open person, and perhaps as you are a vet, in case an issue would appear I would dare ask for your opinion too, 😊 as I can buy online whatever natural supplements are there.
Thank you!I have reposted the question here, from last month, because this is normally the topic where students ask questions that would be answred during the live call, available for Gold and Platinum members. These questions are posted during the course of a month, from one live call to another, and Val would answer them as time permits. If one question is not answered it will be put on the topic line for the next live call.
I really am curious if we should vaccinate our friends with all required by country vaccines protocol, especially if like in my case, the cats are indoor only, and dogs are taken to strolls but only around our private land. There are wild deers and foxes or wild hogs sometimes passing close, and some rabbits foot prints, but otherwise the dogs are not having direct contact with other species.
Therefore remains the question if I should jab them every year or not.
Should we use deworming medicines regularly? Should we use flea and tick products even if the animals are not having any?
The local vet would say yes, but I think so many harsh chemicals are not suiting my beliefs, and of course they take tolls on our friends’little bodies.
Reviewing my question it is indeed incomplete, but I hope that during the call Val would have enough time to catch a glimpse of this post too. 😀Thank you so much Monique, for sending to Boumba healing thoughts!
I am sure he must have received them, as he felt very generous to give us lots of kisses in return! 😃Thank you! 🙏
Lots of love and healing light go to you and your loved ones too! ❤️🌈

Gold MemberRepost (sort of as I don’t remember the details I wrote previously)
Would you speak about when we are grieving loss and how it affects our animal communication? I have lost both parents this year and go in and out of grief, etc. Yet I’ve had an experience where I was an emotional wreck and someone called and wanted help. I did a quick “Can I do this?” and it was like a light switch flipped and I knew I could be there 100% for this person and the animal. Your thoughts are appreciated. -

Gold MemberI tried to connect with a foster cat at my local pet food store. I had a little time so I did some box breathing before and everything. 🙂 Then when I connected to her I started to cry, and not wanting to blubber in public I had to walk away. I don’t think the tears were from her, what’s up with that?

Gold MemberI completely understand your value of an animal’s decision about their own actions and behavior, but in some cases limits have to be set in order to preserve safety and family rights.
Follow-up about Kona, who you talked to last month about eating his brother & sister’s food. He’s still doing it, which means he is getting fatter while they go hungry unless I put him in another room for a half an hour and “babysit”, I can’t ask my pet sitter to do that without the risk of him staying locked up all day. It’s damaged our relationship too.
On another newer and scarier behavior issue, he’s now chewing on power cords, and chewed totally through one in two different places. I’ve gotten him toys and cords to chew on that have a similar texture, but he still prefers power cords. I’ve tried to show him how dangerous that is, but that doesn’t seem to have helped.
How would you handle those issues? I hope you agree that at least for the 2nd one, he needs to just follow my rule whether he wants to or not: don’t chew on power cords!
Thanks,
Greta-

Gold MemberHi,
The snoozing-on-pillows Belgian Malinois is our seven year old “Rezi”. Yes, the bed was made before she rearranged it.
Q – How is she truly feeling and what can I change to have her enjoy life more now that she’s a senior?
(Issues – spondylosis in back, arthritic there, and in knees)And – if allowed…
The black dog is “Gala” a friends recent Mexican rescue with left leg injury. What does she need?Lastly, we have mice in our condo. They chewed through the neighbors pony wall. We have traps all over. How do we ask them to leave?!?
And some irises from my friends garden for you.
Much appreciated, looking forward to Saturdays class.
Nikki

Platinum MemberHi Val,
When I am gazing at a picture of an animal teacher, I often start to see images within their photo. Mainly faces of people, animals, and even what appear to be aliens. When I first started this some months ago, I kind of thought I was nuts, however, I continue to see them.
I would like to know if this happens to others and how to interpret?
I am inclined to think they are indicative of past lives. So far I have been unable to receive confirmation from the animals. But maybe I really am ? (Claircognizantly?)
Could you expound?Big Love, Lee

ModeratorHi Monique, Welcome!
Interesting techie question. At the top of each discussion thread there is an indicator of the activity in this specific conversation thread.
X amount of Replies/comments means the total count of discussion boxes in the thread.
Y amount of Voices tells us how many different people participated within the discussion.
For example, in an Accountability Post discussion thread, I post the starting topic, and then people add their accountability posts. Each of these unique ‘member’ plus me euqals the total number of voices. And occasionally there are replies within the thread which are by some of those unique voices making the total off replies/comments higher than the number of the unique voices.

Gold MemberThankyou Barb! So, if someone says something on these posts am I allowed to reply? For instance if I have something to offer as a reply to what they post? or is that intruding on the learning? OR do you moderate what is posted so can stop if I (or anyone else) replies something that is maybe not right for here?

Gold MemberFor Roo, I (clairsentient) felt:
– a current and fairly strong pain in left (rear) knee. Quite sore and incapacitating at times.
– a former and healed injury to right forearm, just above the wrist. Could have been a strain or a break that is now healed… and like a former injury, sometimes it is felt. What a bucket of Love Roo is!
Best to y’all.

Platinum MemberVery interesting Nikki
Given his age, I think it is quite possible he could have some joint pain, although I have not known him to have ever had an injury.
I will be interested to hear what you get next time you tune in. Let me know!

Lee and Roo
