Moderator–> Ready to Practice with the Accountability Game? –> Ready to earn a free private session with Val? Here’s how to do do both:
One of the most important things to help you stay on track with your goals is to be accountable on a regular basis. To help you with that, once a week please answer these simple questions listen below.
This Game is designed to help you become more consciously aware of your journey, to celebrate your successes and share any perceived “failures” so they can be acknowledged, healed and cleared. Mistakes are a necessary part of the journey. There are no right answers here and this is not a test. Just do your best. Doing this exercise will help you improve your skills and be more consciously aware at all times. Remember this is a journey, not a destination. The idea is for you to stay conscious and make progress.
NOTE: Gold Club Members are Eligible to Earn the Accountability Award (a Laser Coaching half hour private session, value $275, limit 4 per person per year). Here’s how Gold Members earn their sessions:
1) Stay Accountable. Each week there will be a new Accountability Discussion for the time period of Saturday through Friday to which you can post any day of the week. You are invited to report on you efforts, progress and frustrations during the week since your last post. You don’t have to have perfect results. It is more important that you are trying, taking action and sharing what’s happening for you.
2) When you’ve completed 12 consecutive weeks of accountability posts you will receive an email from the Coaching Club Moderator with the Subject “Congratulations – you’ve earned a laser session with Val.” This email will be sent after the new week’s Accountability Discussion has been posted to the Forum. If you miss a week, just start your count over the next week. (Note: All students will benefit from this exercise. However, you must be a Gold Member to earn a free session with Val.)
3) In the Congratulations email, you’ll receive instructions on how to schedule your 30 minute private consultation. Use your time for animal communication mentoring, healing, and/or Val’s help working with your own animal(s).
4) Post each week during the Saturday to Friday timeframe. All posts are automatically time stamped and should align with the appropriate week to apply toward earning a free session with Val. Note: You can’t wait for 3 months then do 12 week’s worth of reporting in 1 week! Having the practice over time will strengthen your Animal Communication muscles.
MEMBER POSTING INSTRUCTIONS: Just copy these 5 questions into your comment below and answer them. Then click Post.

Inactive Member1) Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you? Yes, I meditated approximately 35 minutes this week. I did Val’s Grounding Meditation, Val’s Soft Focus Meditation, and a Gratitude Meditation.
2) Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not? Yes, I did. First let me mention there are a lot of spiders and birds here in Australia so I have a lot of opportunity to connect with them even if they are brief encounters. I had a funny interaction with 2 different spiders. One has been outside my back door for a long time with a glorious web that he has built and maintained. On Tuesday, the spider looked much larger than usual (fat), so I asked why and the spider replied “Don’t Judge Me”. I apologized and explained that I was not judging at all and that I was just curious and wanted to learn more about him/her. The second spider I saw when I opened up my garbage can outside. He just stayed completely still and I didn’t want to close the cover on him. I asked the spider if he/she wanted to stay inside or go outside the can. I explained that I just wanted to help him/her and I meant no harm. He didn’t answer me so I gently touched his leg with a tissue and then he moved quickly to the outside of the can. He turned to me and said: “Blah, blah, blah”. That was it. I guess that will remain a mystery to me as to what he wanted or if I did the right thing.
3) What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week? I would like to celebrate that I am feeling so passionate about my journey so far.
4) What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week? The challenge so far this week has been that I haven’t been able to spend as much time as I feel I need to practice, practice, practice. Work and life balance is a work in progress for me right now.
5) Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the featured animal in the Discussion of that animal if you have not already done so. Yes, I did and posted my results in the forum.
6) Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not? I used animal dreaming oricle cards, picked one out with my eyes closed.. I guessed that it was an owl, but it turned out to be a hawk. -

Short sessions over day. Tried a longer one in the evening one day and fell asleep in my office chair again.2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?
Finally, the sick feral kitten came for help. Unfortunately, it was too late. She died a few hours after I collected her … before I could even take her to the vet.3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week?
That I don’t give up trying although the results are rather frustrating at the moment.4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week?
Pascal, the stray Beagle, started yelping, howling, crying. At times he refuses to come inside, he hardly eats. I asked him what’s wrong and got “nothing”. All he wants is to get outside. I think he is looking for a nice doggie girl. No way to communicate with him at present, not even about the dangers of the street. So far he was lucky, a couple of drivers have stopped for him the last 2 days.5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the featured animal in the Discussion of that animal if you have not already done so.
Tried but didn’t manage. Possibly I picked a bad time.6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?

Inactive Member1. Did you meditate this week?
Every morning except this morning because my computer is acting up and I need to rush it to computer hospital. Hoping I can get this done before since it probably won’t come home.
2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week?
Tried to connect with yellow jackets to warn them of impending doom but afraid to confirm that they’ve cleared out so giving them a little more time to move first.
3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week?
That the happier I am the closer to animals I feel. Or is it the other way around? I love the idea that the Universe wants me to be happy. My religious upbringing had me convinced otherwise.
4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week?
Sadly, a death. A little brown bird flew into the house, while I had doors open to the early morning cool, and couldn’t find its way out. I caught it fluttering against the kitchen window and quickly released it out the door so it would stop being terrified. Then I regretted not holding it until it calmed down and realized it was safe with me. Missed chance to communicate. I could have warned it about flying into closed windows. A day or two later there was a sudden rain and I heard a small brown bird fly hard into the glass. It was lying on its back when I picked it up and carried it indoors. It never moved again but it stayed warm for hours, probably from the heat of my hands, so I couldn’t risk burying it. I wrapped it in a paper towel overnight and the next morning there was no more doubt or hope.
I don’t know if it was the same bird but I’m afraid it thought my home was a safe place to wait out the rain because I didn’t hurt it when it was trapped trying to get out. Maybe it thought getting in was easy and it could trust me to help it get out again?
5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)?
No, but hope to soon.
6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?
I didn’t find the time this week.

Yes, I connected with my dog. I’m still working on my connection with him and trusting what I get.3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week?
I am still practicing and learning.4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week?
I’m having a bit of trouble trusting what I get from my dog, as I don’t know if it is actually him or if it is my imagination.5. Yes, still focused on Ananda Bosman’s S’OM”A CD, so meditation time has increased to almost an hour each nite. I don’t think I’ve ever felt music like this before!! https://anandabosman.com if anyone is interested.
2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?
Besides my lizard encounter, which I posted on the FB page earlier in the week, I had an encounter with a condor. Driving down the road, I my eyes caught movement in a ditch, but couldn’t see for sure what it was. I turned around and came back to see if I could help. Someone had hit a condor and it’s wing looked like it was broken. I came from the street side so it wouldn’t go out there. We climbed up a small incline and under a fence, all the while I was telling him/her I only wanted to help. S(he) sat and looked at me for a minute while I tried to convince him/her to let me help. I wasn’t very convincing, because s(he) took off walking across the grass to a wooded area and disappeared into the woods. There were other condors circling around, obviously concerned about their friend. I decided not to pursue the “rescue”, but not being able to fly, s(he) won’t last long unless her buddies feed her. I know I could have handled that better, but right now I’m not sure how.
3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week?
The Universe keeps presenting me with situations I’ve not experienced before. It’s very interesting.
4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week?
How could I have handled the communication with the condor better to convince him/her to let me help? Being able to receive their messages would be such a plus in these situations!
5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the featured animal in the Discussion of that animal if you have not already done so.
No, was interrupted by the lizard message on Saturday, and haven’t gotten back to him since.
6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?
No, but the thought occurred to me yesterday that I hadn’t heard from my friends since they got back from Florida a couple weeks ago. I took care of their house/critters while they were gone and still had their key. This morning I got a text from them that they would stop by on their way home for their key.

Inactive Member1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you? Yes. I am house sitting two houses this week and taking care of two dogs and four cats so it is more challenging to keep to my regular schedule but I am doing a lot of walking and being fully present meditation instead of sitting quietly in the center of my head.
2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?
1. I connected with Zoe and Shiloh, two dogs that were rescues from the Greyhound Racing Track. They were both very grateful to be living in new circumstances—a house and not kennels piled on top of each other. Shiloh was getting used to being a house dog and the rules to follow. Zoe was afraid of garbage trucks and we worked on a solution to help her fear.
2. Jaz: I visited his home to receive instructions on his care while his person was away as he was in a fight with his cat housemate, Maggie and she scratched his cornea. He told me that she had irritated him!3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week?
I had my first session with Val and I worked on overcoming what I consider an obstacle to becoming a sensitive, connected, animal communicator. I explained to Val that I had come across a life situation this past week where the communication was not going well and my shackles were up and that I did not remain calm or neutral or see amusement in the encounter. I then proceeded to beat myself up about my failure to pass a “test”. With Val’s guidance I came up with an intention statement: “I want to feel calm and accepting in all life situations and respond appropriately.” I am going to post more about this excellent session in a new thread! I am so happy and excited to be clearing old patterns.4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week? None at the moment.
5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the featured animal in the Discussion of that animal if you have not already done so. I connected with Hawkeye during the Saturday call and decided to ask him something that could be validated by his person. I asked what his favorite room was in the house and he said the living room and it was correct! Yay! I also
pictured his energy as golden yellow which Pam also got. I “saw” him prowling around his home as if he was the king!6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?
I continue with the card game. Asking instead of guessing is always more accurate. -

Platinum MemberHi Gina!
I read you accountability post about connecting with Hawkeye. I saw where you said you got that Hawkeye said he goes in and out as far as going outside. I’m happy to learn that he considers himself as going outside! We live in an apartment that has a balcony that is covered and I have closed off in a sense with bamboo (to keep Hawkeye and Serenity from going off the balcony).Could you tell me more about Hawkeye saying he’d like to catch his food? At the moment I’m not sure what can be done about that 🙁

Platinum Member1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you? Yes 4 times. Silent meditations spending time with my animal totems.
2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?
Yes. I was at a restaurant and saw a bird that landed on a bird bath. I asked the bird why he likes the bird bath and he said
birds like to cool off on hot days in water. I asked if he has a family and he said they were resting in a nearby tree.
He said he likes this bird bath and flew away.3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week?
In person communication getting easier after last weeks class call.4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week? None

Platinum Member1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you? Yes, I meditated this week. I’m not sure how long I meditated, but it was the guided meditation we did during the Q & A Call on June 9.
2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not? Yes, I communicated with Serenity by asking her something. I also tried to connect with a somewhat fluffy, somewhat curly, on the smaller side black dog. The dog had great energy that was so happy. This is how the dog typically is. The dog and a human (perhaps the dog’s human) were on a walk. The dog was so happy about going for a walk! The dog wasn’t interested in talking though because of the fact he/she was on a walk. The dog actually ignored me. So, I observed the dog’s energy instead. What a happy dog in general!
3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week? That without even trying much and not for a long time either (perhaps not even trying at all)-perhaps just from looking at an animal’s picture for a very brief time I got the message (from the cat in the picture who had been suffering until recently and had recently passed on) saying, “Don’t be sad.”
I also would like to celebrate that I actually was able to not just sense Serenity and Hawkeye’s energies but it was like I could feel a little bit or almost feel their energies or connect to their energies or something.4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week? What do you do when you were doing well with communicating and then after being reminded of the steps for animal communication in the Q & A Call on June 9th (or sometime around then-it might have been a different time not even during the call, perhaps it has nothing to do with being reminded of the steps either), you “lose your grove” with communicating with them? I feel like that’s what has happened to me.
5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the featured animal in the Discussion of that animal if you have not already done so. Yes, he’s my cat. One of the times I communicated with him was when I told him I was going to run errands.
I also connected with him another time and told him that the next day people were going to be coming and going with furniture (I got new furniture and people came to get my old junk couch and Salvation Army people came to get some donations and the people with my new furniture came.
I just now communicated with him. I called his name and he didn’t want to turn his head to look at me, but he knew I wanted to talk with him. He also turned his head about half way. I think he might have known someone was in the hall way since around that time someone opened the door to the trash chute next to our apartment. I asked Hawkeye if he likes the new furniture. He says it’s great and that he loves it. He said he likes the new couch and that it’s soft and he like how it feels (I think he likes the support from the Memory Foam). He likes the smell of the new furniture. He also likes getting on the furniture and exploring around. He also likes how the furniture is arranged in the living room.6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not? Yes, I communicated with Tina. Around the first part of the conversation she put her head up near my head and I put my arm around her head and he rubbed her head and face up and down against me. It was so sweet! She told me she has been learning new things and that she’s good at them. At some point during our conversation I asked her if she has a message for her mom (Alicia). She said that she (her mom) is too critical of herself. She said Alicia needs to let her (Tina) guide her (Alicia) in communicating and also in horse things. After the conversation it seemed like Tina also said for Alicia to trust herself more, too.
I told Tina that my cousin and her family is coming in (to California) today and that I’ll be seeing them. I told her that my cousin, her family, and I are going to go to Disneyland. Tina said she didn’t think she’d like Disneyland because of all the kids. I agreed with her. haha.
Tina also said that sometimes Alicia has treats when she’s out doing horse things. Tina said sometimes she’d like to have some of Alicia’s treats! I think this is so sweet!
I asked Tina about where she lives. She didn’t say where exactly, but I got the sense that it’s a dry climate and that in the winter it doesn’t snow much.
Also during our conversation Tina made this cute sound. I don’t know what it’s called, nor do I remember what I said or did that got the sound as a response, but she lifted up her front lips showing her front teeth and breather through her nose and the breathing sounded a little like it was rippled. I think Tina was laughing at something I said.
Tina also said she thinks she’d like having a cat as a friend and taking casual walks with the cat and also brisk walks. I wanted to know more about the brisk walk. She clarified it for me and she was referring to where they’re both trotting. It seems like Tina was picturing a long dirt road with trees and birds chirping and maybe some flowers or perhaps a meadow with grass where the kitty would feel like a little tiger.
Tina could tell I felt tired and had dozed off a few times. She said for me to finish my accountability exercises and to do whatever I’d do after that and that she and I could talk another time. I gave her a kiss and rubbed her face and told her I love her and we’d talk again.

Inactive MemberMEDITATION TYPES, TIMES
–6/9/18 centering meditation, Course 1 Class 1 centering with love meditation.
–~10 minutes daily.
CONNECT WITH INTENTION TO COMMUNICATE, RESULTS
–~2 hours with Raven using the 6/9/18 5 basic steps to connecting; repeated some steps because I was also reading the Course 1 Class 1 transcript on the same table where he was lying on his side; shorter sessions other days when we again shared the table.
–I yawned, got itchy; he didn’t, but he shifted his position to look at me from different angles and sometimes sat up to be brushed, especially the sides of his head. I felt satisfyingly close to him but received no message.
CELEBRATE
–Studied Awaken Your Inner Guidance System(TM) transcript (first time since January); also Course 1 Class 1; also Learn How to Connect and Send Messages to Animals.
–Joined Animal Talk on Facebook.
–Kept up with outside water bowls, birdbath, and food for birds, squirrels, raccoon(s), opossum(s).
CHALLENGES, QUESTIONS
–Still too dense to get messages on demand, but in the past I’ve gotten unexpected messages. Need to meditate more, so I can be more receptive. When I was nine or so in a swimming pool, I kept trying to float–and failed and failed until I didn’t. I finally got it and never lost it!
FAT COMMUNICATION
–2 attempts with Hawkeye posted.
INTUITION GAMES, RESULTS
–Because I’ve been talking with Martha on the forum about Julie-Belle’s out-of-the-litter-box habit, here’s an example of clairsentience (Course 1, Class 1).
A weekend in July 2005, I wondered if I’d adopt a third cat. And, if I did, what her name would be. Somehow assumed a female and decided on “Julie-Belle” because the previous week I’d seen professional performances of Romeo and Juliet and of Beauty and the Beast.
That Monday, I went outside my townhome and saw an adorable tuxedo kitten. I sat on the lawn and let her climb all over me. She had no id and I wanted to keep her, so I went inside to bring her food and water. She accepted, but then ran off to explore my patio garden and a neighbor’s. She was full of life and merriment and determination to explore all she could; I was in love but felt I should not detain her. I did, however, walk and drive around the neighborhood for months looking for her. Coming home from a play on Halloween, I thought I saw her on a nearby street in front of an old house rented to students. I prayed that God would connect us if ever she needed help.
Two years later, when I was reading a neighborhood newspaper in August 2007 waiting for a play to begin, I suddenly saw Julie-Belle’s photo: the symmetrical pattern on her face except for a freckle on one side of her nose. The shelter asked that someone adopt “Mrs. Higgins” because all her kittens had already been adopted. The next day I was at the shelter adopting her when someone mentioned her 4-month-old kitten. I offered to adopt, but the shelter director said “Silver” was old enough to be independent. (Evidently, she was back after a failed adoption.)
Julie-Belle spent the weekend quietly and apparently content in a sitting room with the door hooked ajar so the two other cats and she could communicate if they wanted. I spent it reading Jeffrey Moussaieff Masson’s The Nine Emotional Lives of Cats (I really must reread all his books on animals), which included how mother and daughter cats can be closely bonded all their lives. When I brought Silver/Janie-Kate to Julie-Belle on Monday, I never saw such love and joy as Julie-Belle displayed holding and licking her kitten from tips of ears to tip of tail!
There was a time when I used to let the cats outside while I watched as best I could–not noticing until the refrigerator was replaced that Janie-Kate had brought in a dozen (now dead) lizards but definitely noticing that a bird had flown into the house. Afterwards, often I would walk to the mailbox at one end of the drive or to the trash bucket stop at the other end, and Julie-Belle would walk (sort of) with me. One day the tree she climbed allowed her to see the old house where I guessed she had lived. Maybe she had because she came down and hurried near to that house before walking back to ours with me.
Julie-Belle, aka Julie-Bellissima, Julie Bodacious Belle, Jules, and Janie-Kate are still besties grooming each other at ages 13 and 11; fortunately, as of about five years ago, Janie-Kate stopped trying to nurse, which caused Julie-Belle to bat her away. -

Gold Member1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you? I did not meditate every day this week. I had some meditations as part of an Intensive I am doing with Susann Teylor Shier so those meditations were her Journeys, a guided meditation.
2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not? I did attempt to communicate with one of my cats a couple of times but was not successful.
3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week? I thought back over the times when I was successful commincating with animals in the past. I realized that first I actually heard animals in their own voice. This happened twice. Then I started getting words as thoughts. More recently I have gotten images. Maybe I thought I was not communicating when it no longer was as I expected it to be.
4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week? I hvae been dealing with a health issue that did not help and I have been rather busy.
5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the featured animal in the Discussion of that animal if you have not already done so. Not yet but I plan to.
6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not? No I just did not do that.
