–> Ready to Practice with the Accountability Game? –> Ready to earn special bonus time with Val? Here’s how to do do both:

One of the most important things to help you stay on track with your goals is to be accountable on a regular basis. To help you with that, once a week please answer these simple questions listen below.

This practice is designed to help you become more consciously aware of your journey, to celebrate your successes and share any perceived “failures” so they can be acknowledged, healed and cleared. Mistakes are a necessary part of the journey. There are no right answers here and this is not a test. Just do your best. Doing this exercise will help you improve your skills and be more consciously aware at all times. Remember this is a journey, not a destination. The idea is for you to stay conscious and make progress.

NOTE: Gold and Platinum Club Members are Eligible to Earn the Accountability Bonus Call Award (a live small group coaching session with Val and the month’s other Accountability Bonus Award winners). Here’s how Gold and Platinum Members earn their sessions:

      1) Stay Accountable. Each week there will be a new Accountability Discussion for the time period of Saturday through Friday to which you can post any day of the week. You are invited to report on you efforts, progress and frustrations during the week since your last post. You don’t have to have perfect results. It is more important that you are trying, taking action and sharing what’s happening for you.

      2) When you’ve completed 12 consecutive weeks of accountability posts you will receive an email from the Coaching Club Moderator with the Subject “Congratulations – you’ve earned a bonus session with Val.” This email will be sent after the new week’s Accountability Discussion has been posted to the Forum. If you miss a week, just start your count over the next week. (Note: All students will benefit from this exercise. However, you must be a Gold or Platinum Member to earn a free session with Val.)

      3) In the Congratulations email, you’ll receive instructions on how to participate. Use your time for animal communication mentoring, healing, and/or Val’s help working with your own animal(s).

      4) Post each week during the Saturday to Friday timeframe. All posts are automatically time stamped and should align with the appropriate week to apply toward earning a free session with Val. Note: You can’t wait for 3 months then do 12 week’s worth of reporting in 1 week! Having the practice over time will strengthen your Animal Communication muscles.

MEMBER POSTING INSTRUCTIONS: Just copy these 5 questions into your comment below and answer them. Then click Post.

      1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?

      2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?

      3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week?

      4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week?

      5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the featured animal in the Discussion of that animal if you have not already done so.

      6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?

Tip: To copy the questions, highlight the text and type ctrl-C (hold down the ctrl key and type a C) then place the cursor in the Reply box and use ctrl-V to paste.

Remember the weekly posting period runs from Saturday through noon 12:00pm Central (Texas) United States Friday which is the same as 5pm in system time shown at the top of your posts (it is the Universal Time (Greenwich, UK)). You can check your own time using the Time Zone converter at:

      https://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/converter-classic.html

Note: Upgrade to Gold or Platinum membership at any time by emailing [email protected] and letting us know.

While only posts answering the above questions count as Accountability Posts, you are welcome to comment on anyone else’s posts. We are here to learn from and inspire each other too! Provide feedback to others and we will learn together.

      Much love, Barb & Val

      1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you? YES I practiced meditation for about 10 to 30 minutes about 3 times this week (a psychic development meditation using breath/visualization while focusing on third eye point and listening to a couple lovely val heart meditations). I also practiced Reiki/Energy healing work with myself and cats and life situations; this is an ongoing daily practice for many years. Today in particular I feel i strong desire to focus more on embodying meditation (again) in my daily “action” plan, along with the more effortless practice of Reiki.

      2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not? Yes. I am allowing myself to imagine conversation with my animals even more than normal. And I feel a shift from indecision and any fears that come up, to trust in my ability to perceive accurately. One of my kitties is dealing with blood in urine/uti, which I am addressing the problem through nutrition and water which is critical. However equal to that: I am also really choosing to spend more time at home to support her by offering even more touch and companionship than normal, to help ground us both in a calm space for the healing to occur energetically and instantly. I have witnessed a release of tension and happiness surface for both of us. Setting the stage for more and more communication. Today this kitty told me to remove before i added. I was going to town to get coffee and work on some things and she knew i needed to get clear with some spring water and a brisk walk by the ocean before adding in food or work. thank you kitty.

      3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week?
listening to val heart bonuses and witnessing the power again and again of relaxing my own body to support my animal friend to relax. I truly know the power of being in my instinctual wisdom and how this will always support self love and animal communication.

      4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week?
      Focus was a challenge.

      5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the featured animal in the Discussion of that animal if you have not already done so. No, and I aim to do so this week. Not having internet connection for laptop at home is a challenge in terms of being able to stay really involved on forum. however I am going to get creative.

      6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not? I did not and aim to do so. I did play intuitive games with a friend who is very new to psychic work. For years I have used playing cards and practiced being sender and receiver. After a few failed attempts I gave her some tips and told her she would get it right this time and she did. Fun.

      1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?during
Yes – I’ve been incorporating a silent meditations focused on my breathing during the days at weekends. I’ve been taking short breaks to do very quick ‘refocus and recentre’ moments at work – breathing in light. It’s really helping with my tendency to anxiety, worry etc. etc. Great!
      2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?
I tried to connect with Serenity again. It wasn’t as clear as the first time but I saw some similar images to last time so…either they are accurate or I’ve been influenced by what I read on the feedback forum. Not sure. But I am proud that I tried and persevered. I tried to connect with my own doggy, Elsa. Again – am I making it up? I must keep the list of questions with me because my mind goes blank. Next week!
      3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week? That I had a go. That I reinforced that this is something I really want to do. That I keep trying to do it. That I remembered that this is a really important thing to do for everyone’s sake.
      4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week?
Still confounded by my own chatty busy mind!
      5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the featured animal in the Discussion of that animal if you have not already done so. Yes – had a go. I think I’ve been too influenced by what I’ve read to be able to give a clear account so I didn’t post a second time.
      6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games: Yes – everytime I see a wild animal I try to identify the energy: male female? Happy grumpy? tranquil lively? It’s fun.

      1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you? Yes, I meditated approximately 2 hours this week. I did Val’s Grounding Meditations x 2 and Gratitude Meditations x 3

      2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not? Yes, I did. I connected with 2 dogs living in the same household. One was a 2 year old puppy and the other was a 9 year old. I communicated with each of them separately. The young dog treats the older dog like a play toy and the older dog is tired, can’t be bothered and has been very unhappy about this. I listened to each one’s point of view and shared it with the other along with the animal parent. The animal parent got a new squeak soft toy for the young dog (as the young dog requested) who was bored and both dogs have started the process to give each other their own space
      3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week? I would like to celebrate that I am still so passionate about this journey.

      4) What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week? The challenge I had this week was trying to take on too much and then ended up distracted and feeling overwhelmed.

      5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the featured animal in the Discussion of that animal if you have not already done so. Yes I did and posted my results.

      6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not? I decided to play a game while I was in the grocery store. Before I went to the checkout, I guessed a checkout number I would go to and then how many items would be in the cart of the person in front of me. I decided to go to checkout 7 and guessed the person would have 18 items. I counted them when I got there and they had 28. (At least there was an 8 in my guess).

      1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?

Yes, 20 min each lunch break and short 2-5 min sessions spread over the day.

      2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?

One if my favourite feral cats did not show up for 2 days. I got worried and told her on the third day to please show up, even if she is not hungry. Shortly after she came running over the street, said quickly hello and disappeared again without eating.

A former colleague sent me the photo of his little dog. She was a lot more affectionate than usual. So he wanted to know, if something is wrong with her. I got that this is due to the weather changing. This makes her want to cuddle up. Then a second idea popped up that she is not spayed and presently in heat. Have not yet checked with her person.

      3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week?

My persistence. Even if an animal is very stubborn or drawn back, I keep trying.

      4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week?

Trying to find out something that Pascal, the rescue Beagle, likes to eat or play. It is extremely difficult trying to train him, if he is not motivated by anything.

      5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the featured animal in the Discussion of that animal if you have not already done so.

      As usual, did not manage.

      6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?

Every time that I enter a crowded parking lot, I decide that someone will leave and make space for my car. So far, it works 80% of the time.

I’m posting earlier than usual because there are several other must-do’s at the Mac and then must-do errands out tomorrow morning.

      MEDITATION: TYPES, TIMES

Most days, 15-20 minutes. Types vary: Val’s Course 1 online, Echo Bodine’s <The Key> CD, kirtan kriya, sitting silently, centering with measured breaths.

      CONNECT WITH INTENTION TO COMMUNICATE

      Posted with Barb G’s Luchien.

      CELEBRATE

Accurate hits with Luchien and (less so) with Chica. I believe I sensed their personalities somewhat, but did not detect a difference between correct and incorrect details.

      CHALLENGES, PROBLEMS

The two outside cats again: I’ve been feeding the timid, dilute torti female, Rosalie, since February. She first showed up on the back patio in early February when Shoshana became an indoor cat. To put a can of food (emptied on a paper plate) out for her for breakfast, I must first do the same in the kitchen for Shoshana or Shoshana will run outside after the plate. (All six indoor cats eat wet food on the dining table around noon.)

An orange male cat started visiting a few weeks ago. He lets Rosalie wail for food until I bring it out, then runs to the plate and eats it all. Because she doesn’t eat dry food and he does, sometimes I put both on the plate, wait outside while she eats the wet food, and then go inside while he eats the dry food. He’s begun to hang around the patio all day.

As an outdoor cat, Shoshana ate three or four cans daily; I didn’t mind spending an extra $90-$120/month plus vet expenses (wellness, vacs, micro-chip) on her. But now the house needs thousands for immediate repairs, and Raven the patriarch indicates that no one else joins the household. I’m failing sending to and receiving from the outdoor cats. Of course, the orange cat wants food if he’s hungry and he sees it available. I wonder if he’s the orange cat who used to live on the next block and if he’s been abandoned.

      FAT COMMUNICATION

      Posted with Alicia’s Chica.

      INTUITION GAMES

10/10 correct odd-even die cube. Astounding! Even got two numbers (wasn’t trying for numbers), which turned out to be correct.

      1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?

3 nites listened to Ananda Bosman CD (1 nite didn’t make it through first song before batteries died, so just wentn to sleep), 3 nites sitting in silence, last nite after my lazer call with Val, I connected with my wounded inner child in reference to what Val and I talked about on our call. As I work through this process, I will probably post more about it here.

      2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?

Reminding my Ginger about our guest who is coming to stay with us this weekend for 3 weeks. Val said she has received my previous messages about our visitor and she’s ok with him coming. Yay!

      3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week?

Celebrating finding Val with her infinite knowledge about so many things! I want to be you when I grow up, Val! 🙂

      4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week?

      Nothing new.

      5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the featured animal in the Discussion of that animal if you have not already done so.

      Not yet.

      6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?

      As usual, no time.

      4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week? Wondering whether the daily practice is the best way to learn. I think I am going to redo the advanced course and will start this week.

      5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the featured animal in the Discussion of that animal if you have not already done so. Yes. I posted it.

      6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not? Tried guessing face or not face card and failed miserably. I think I can’t TRY….

      1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you? I participated in a Journey on Susann’s monthly call. I also offered Reiki to Roxy and myself last night. He seemes to be coming down with a kitty cold and I had just been told by my eye doctor that there are bleeds in one eye. I went to sleep last night reciting one of the Reiki mantras. Other days I just did not get to it.

      2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not? Once again trying to connect with Roxy since he appeared to be sick. He was better later and seems OK today. I was not able to make a connection with him.

      3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week? I realize that what I get out of this is based on what I put into it, and I’m not putting in enough to get anythign out of it.

      4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week? No

      5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? 6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not? No I did not get to it

      1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?
5-20 minutes of vipassana meditation, walking medititation and mindfulness of the things I do.
      2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?
I tried to connect with my feral cat where her second baby kitten is and I did not receive an answer. on the second day, I found it dead under my porch. I think it fell of the tree and crowled under the deck.
      3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week?
      Nothing this week.
      4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week?
Why it is so hard to connect with an animal that is right in front of your face?
      5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the featured animal in the Discussion of that animal if you have not already done so. Chica, just did. She is an older lady. Full of life. Her body hurts sometimes but she likes to be in the middle of everything and always needs to be up-to-date of what is going on, except when she wants to sleep. When she sleeps, she sleeps. She is excited about life. She loves her family and is friendly to most people. Other animals, she likes to have her distance. She is the queen and likes to have her kingdom.
      6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not? Forgot.

      2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?
Yes I speak to Angel asking her to go to her dad to be let outside by sending her a video picture and she does it.
I talk to Chica and I get so excited that it’s mostly a one sided conversation. I need to let her talk more.
      3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week?
Chica is so happy being FAT. She is bringing up memories that are so loving and sweet. She is the happiest soul I have ever known.
      4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week? Listen more and talk less.

      5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the featured animal in the Discussion of that animal if you have not already done so. Yes I talk more than she does.

      1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?
I’ve meditated 4 times this week. I sid the meditation from Val’s last platinum call twice (I loved that one), and 2 others. I also do morning pages now, which is like a written meditation, where you connect with your inner self and guides through writing.

      2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not? Yes, I connected with a dog and a cat this week. I got some positive feedback from the dog’s person, but no real feedback from the cat’s person.

      3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week? I’ve made a commitment to do some short animal communications live in my closed group every week. When I did this before I improved quite quickly and encountered a variety of questions, which extended my learning.

      4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week? I think it’s still that discerning what is ciming from the animal and what is coming from my own head.

      5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the featured animal in the Discussion of that animal if you have not already done so.
Yes – I posted today. After posting I read some of the previous feedback. I seem to have picked up on her personality correctly, but I don’t seem to be as accurate with my clairaudience.
      6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not? Not this week.

Yes, I meditated at different times very briefly. The meditation was focusing on my breathing with the intention to either reset my mind or getting the thinking to slow down. Focusing on my breathing is so effective!

      2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not? Yes, my cats. I also did with a kitty who lost her ears and two other cats.

      3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week? That Hawkeye is really understanding me better now and responding! Perhaps he has always understood when I telepathically communicated with him, so perhaps it’s just a matter of him responding now.

I’m communicating with her as I write this. I introduced myself and for a split second Chica was a bit unsure of me. After that split second she warmed up. She even gave me a couple of kisses on my nose and lips.
She asked me what I’d like to talk about. I said, “Why don’t you tell me about yourself when you were in physical form as the dog Chica.” She said, “I’d love to. Well, I was sweet, smart, funny, and very pampered. I loved to go on walks, and I had a leash but it wasn’t a thick one. It was dainty. I was around the horses, but I wasn’t crazy about this because I had a small body and they were so big. Tina was alright though. Sometimes I’d get really cold and Mommy would put clothes on me, hence the clothes I’m wearing in the picture. Sometimes I’d get so cold I’d shake a bit. I loved little pieces of meat-chicken or hot dogs. I hung around Angel after I passed on to help her cope and heal with my passing on, and I still hang out around Angel. I hang out with Mommy, too.” She said she had to go play and we closed the conversation until next time. I told her she can come back and talk to me anytime and if I’d aware of it and able to, I’d love to talk to her again. I told her I’d be back next week to talk again. I told her she’s a wonderful soul and I love her. She kissed me on my nose again.

      6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not? Yes, I talked with Barbara Grout’s dog, Luchien. Here’s what transpired: He said, “Hello. I am the Master.” I got that Luchien is very dignified. He said he likes to run and is protective, but also a big love. I felt like he was trying to send me the scent of his favorite food, but I wasn’t getting it. I got though that he likes cheese and chili cheese, but that Barbara doesn’t give him much human food. Also, something sweet was coming to me. It seemed like it was something with a red fruity jam or jam-like filling. Luchien said he doesn’t like to have his nails trimmed but doesn’t put up a huge fuss about it. He adores walks, particularly those in the earlier morning hours on cooler days or days when it’s crisp outside. He likes summer mornings, too, when the sun isn’t hot and it’s dewy outside. He also said there’s a particular chair he likes. He likes how it makes him feel. I told him it was a pleasure talking with him and that he can talk to me anytime and if I’m aware of it and able to, I’ll talk with him. I said bye and he was very laid back and said, “Bye, See ya.”
