–> Ready to Practice with the Accountability Game? –> Ready to earn special bonus time with Val? Here’s how to do do both:

One of the most important things to help you stay on track with your goals is to be accountable on a regular basis. To help you with that, once a week please answer these simple questions listen below.

This practice is designed to help you become more consciously aware of your journey, to celebrate your successes and share any perceived “failures” so they can be acknowledged, healed and cleared. Mistakes are a necessary part of the journey. There are no right answers here and this is not a test. Just do your best. Doing this exercise will help you improve your skills and be more consciously aware at all times. Remember this is a journey, not a destination. The idea is for you to stay conscious and make progress.

NOTE: Gold and Platinum Club Members are Eligible to Earn the Accountability Bonus Call Award (a live small group coaching session with Val and the month’s other Accountability Bonus Award winners). Here’s how Gold and Platinum Members earn their sessions:

      1) Stay Accountable. Each week there will be a new Accountability Discussion for the time period of Saturday through Friday to which you can post any day of the week. You are invited to report on you efforts, progress and frustrations during the week since your last post. You don’t have to have perfect results. It is more important that you are trying, taking action and sharing what’s happening for you.

      2) When you’ve completed 12 consecutive weeks of accountability posts you will receive an email from the Coaching Club Moderator with the Subject “Congratulations – you’ve earned a bonus session with Val.” This email will be sent after the new week’s Accountability Discussion has been posted to the Forum. If you miss a week, just start your count over the next week. (Note: All students will benefit from this exercise. However, you must be a Gold or Platinum Member to earn bonus session with Val.)

      3) In the Congratulations email, you’ll receive instructions on how to participate. Use your time for animal communication mentoring, healing, and/or Val’s help working with your own animal(s).

      4) Post each week during the Saturday to Friday timeframe. All posts are automatically time stamped and should align with the appropriate week to apply toward earning a free session with Val. Note: You can’t wait for 3 months then do 12 week’s worth of reporting in 1 week! Having the practice over time will strengthen your Animal Communication muscles.

MEMBER POSTING INSTRUCTIONS: Just copy these 5 questions into your comment below and answer them. Then click Post.

      1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?

      2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?

      3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week?

      4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week?

      5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the featured animal in the Discussion of that animal if you have not already done so.

      6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?

Tip: To copy the questions, highlight the text and type ctrl-C (hold down the ctrl key and type a C) then place the cursor in the Reply box and use ctrl-V to paste.

Remember the weekly posting period runs from Saturday through noon 12:00pm Central (Texas) United States Friday which is the same as 5pm in system time shown at the top of your posts (it is the Universal Time (Greenwich, UK)). You can check your own time using the Time Zone converter at:

      https://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/converter-classic.html

Note: Upgrade to Gold or Platinum membership at any time by emailing [email protected] and letting us know.

While only posts answering the above questions count as Accountability Posts, you are welcome to comment on anyone else’s posts. We are here to learn from and inspire each other too! Provide feedback to others and we will learn together.

      Much love, Barb & Val

Look forward to your reports of practice. Have you noticed that challenging times and results are referred to as failures and yet we often learn more from them than from ‘successes’ and ‘perfects’

      1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?
I have not been as consistent this week as I usually am. Meditation is really important, so back on track starting tonight for 15 minutes being present. It is grounding and clearing. It keeps my attention in the right place. 😊

      2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not? Yes. Started 31 days for December posted in the Forum.

      3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week? I have bought the domain name for my website that is in process! Working on my personal story.

      4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week? It is more difficult when the animal is present.

      5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the featured animal in the Discussion of that animal if you have not already done so. Yes. Two times so far.

      6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not? No. Have been focusing on daily conversations with animals.

      1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you? Yes, I meditated approximately 2 1/2 hours this week. I did Val’s Grounding Meditation, and daily Gratitude Meditations

      2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not? Yes, I did. I connected with a dog who’s pet parent wanted to show her professionally. She was concerned if this is what her dog really wanted to do. It turns out her dog told me that she loves the time they got to spend together away from other dogs in her house and it gave her a purpose ( She said it also gave her a chance to show off how smart she was).

      3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week? I would like to celebrate that I am so curious and excited about what I will learn next or what I will dig deeper about for more clarity and understanding on this journey.

      4) What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week? The challenge I had this week was that I wanted to practice and study more than I was able to.

      5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the featured animal in the Discussion of that animal if you have not already done so. Yes I did and posted my results.

      6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not? I worked a lot of long yet hectic hours this week. At one of the rare times that I actually get to even see what the time is, I guessed what the exact time would be before I looked. I guessed it was 11:11 am. When I looked at the clock, it was exactly 11:11 am.

      1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?

Did some short sessions, however less than usual.

      2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?
Tried to connect with my old feral cat Blacky, not sure, if I got through to her. She had a massive tumor on her left front leg and I tried to explain to her that she was going to the vet to have it removed.
Also with Stromer and Sophie. Both were sick and would not eat and drink.

      3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week?

Maybe I should celebrate that I am still alive although I hardly got any sleep last week.

      4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week?

I am not sure, if I had any connection this week at all. As soon as I sit down I immediately drift off. All I can think of is that I want to sleep.

      5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the featured animal in the Discussion of that animal if you have not already done so.

      No.

      6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?

Just went to the post office during my break. This is a very busy time there and the parking spaces are extremely limited. Additionally it is raining heavily. So I simply decided that I would find a parking right away and not far from the entrance. When I turned around the corner I immediately saw a suitable space right at the foot of the stairs leading up to the entrance door.

      1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?

Yes, listening to the silence every night except one when I listened to Ananda Bosman. Actually, I’m listening to the furnace run now that it’s gotten so cold that it runs pretty much all night long. Always staying in a “mindful” state of mind as much as possible.

      2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?

I’ve been talking to Ginger off and on this week about another dog, Oso, coming to stay with us for 19 sleeps next week. He’s coming for a play day tomorrow so they can renew their acquaintance, since he hasn’t been here for a while.

      3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week?

I don’t know if this has anything to do with my messages or not, but “my” deer seem to be sticking around pretty close to my house in the woods. I get to see them occasionally, which always makes my heart happy!

      4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week?

Just wish I could get their responses back!

      5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the featured animal in the Discussion of that animal if you have not already done so.

I greeted Missy when I started to post this today. I sort of got that she was sleepy (?). She’s beautiful, Margaret!

      6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?

No, I’ve just been trying to listen to my intuition about everything.

      1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you? Yes 5 meditations, guided meditations on entering the sacred heart space and out of body meditations.

      2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?
Yes. I spoke to my friends dog about her issues getting along with another dog in the house. She also is being bothered by a family spirit that wants the family to know that he is around. I will speak to the other dog to try and broker a truce.
      3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week?
Tina was nervous about the snow so I told her how to safely walk on the snow and that the ice is slippery but we will do it together. By the time we got to the arena she was doing great and enjoyed running in the snow.
      4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week? None

      5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the featured animal in the Discussion of that animal if you have not already done so.
      Will do tomorrow
      6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not? Not this week

      1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?

I taught a Reiki I workshop last weekend which involved a couple of meditations each day. Tuesday night was Susann Taylor Shier’s monthly call with her group which included a Journey, a special guided meditation she offers. I did a little meditation other days but still not the daily meditation practice I want to establish but somehow just cannot seem to do it.

      2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?

No. I attempted to connect with Missy but without any success at all.

      3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week?

      Nothing to celebrate this week.

      4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week?

It was so easy at first. It just happened, I did not have to work on it or learn it. It came naturaly. Now, it does not and I’m not sure how to go about learning to do something I did naturally without having to learn it.

      5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the featured animal in the Discussion of that animal if you have not already done so.

I tried but cannot communicate with Missy. We are strongly connected – she is quite the moma’s cat – but communicate? Not yet.

      6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not? No, I did not think about it.

I notice that the check box to be notified of follow-up replies is not there.

      5-20 minutes vipassana meditation
      2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?
It was every day communication. Nothing special.
      3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week?
      Nothing
      4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week?

No, didn’t think of it until now.

      1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you? Yes I’ve done two 15min meditations this week.

      2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not? Yes – someone asked me to help her find a lost cat. I gave what I got, but made it clear that I was very inexperienced with this and that she should take what she could from it. I didn’t hear back from her, so assumed it hasn’t helped.

      3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week? The lovely animals and people I meet.

      4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week? I’m lacking confidence again this week and doubting myself a little.

      5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the featured animal in the Discussion of that animal if you have not already done so. No time this week.

      6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not? No time this week.

      1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you? Yes, I meditated by focusing on my breathing. I’m not sure how long.

      2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not? Yes, I did with my cats. I imagine they understood, but sometimes it didn’t seem like understanding was happening. I also connected with two dogs and a cat in South Africa. I tried to help with attention and behavioral issues with the dogs. With the cat, I asked her about why she’s not very friendly. I also connected with two other cats asking them things the human wanted to know.

      3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week? Nothing in particular.

      4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week? How can I know when I’m understanding an animal, or if the information I’m being given is something else? For example: The human of one of the cats I communicated with wanted to know how old one of her cats was. I got the cat was between 3 and 4 years old. However, the human and the cat have been together for 8 years. So, I’m thinking maybe the cat was 3 or 4 years old when the human got her. I think this might be the case because I communicated with a human’s dog a few months ago or so. The dog was in Spirit, but the human did not tell me that until after I communicated with the dog. I didn’t pick up on the fact the dog had passed on. The human asked me how old the dog was. I got that the dog was 4 years old. When I told the human that I got the dog was 4 years old, the human said the dog passed on 4 years ago. So, I think perhaps the cat I communicated with was 3 or 4 years old when the human got her.

      5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the featured animal in the Discussion of that animal if you have not already done so.
I’m communicating with Missy as I wrote this. When I first connected with Missy, she was unsure of me and cautious with a very sweet nature. I explained to her who I am and that she’s the FAT. She said “Really?!” and did a happy movement (like a little dance movement or something).
I asked her how her day’s going. It’s going great! She said she’s lied in the sun, gotten attention, she said, “Eaten! Eaten! Don’t forget eaten!” She said she’s walked around just being gorgeous!
She said sometimes Roxy bugs her, but she loves him. She said she knows she and Roxy were brother and sister in the past lifetime and were with you in their past life time. She said this has been the case for other lifetimes, too.
I asked her if she could tell me anything identifying about her so I could know I’m talking to her. I wasn’t referring to the reincarnation aspect since you, Margaret, had already told us that. Missy said sometimes she has a sensitive tummy.

She then wanted to go and we said our goodbyes.

      6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not? Yes, I did. I communicated with barb Grout’s Tiki. I posted for Barb.

      1. MEDITATION: TYPES, TIMES

Sunday, Monday, Friday: 20-minute silent sitting plus one of Val’s Course 1 meditations.

Measured or observed breaths before starting a task.

      2. INTENTION TO COMMUNICATE WITH AN ANIMAL

      a. Tried several times to connect with my first cat, Persephone, because she has been much on my mind. No success, but whenever I was away for days when she was in body, she’d punish me when I returned by ignoring me and making me “woo” her (grovel, give her human tuna) to get her attention again.

      b. Tried to connect with one of the trees Val posted on Yahoo!. Left comment.

      3. CELEBRATE

      a. Seeing Daisy’s joy and feeling the joy she radiated to others during her birthday party.

      b. Reminiscing about Persephone even if I didn’t get a response/she didn’t respond.

      c. Doubt that the male orange cat received or accepted my message to stay away from Rosalie the Lorelei, but she has been visiting most days when he’s not also there.

      4. CHALLENGES, QUESTIONS

      a. Felt gravity and sacredness in the Alamo mission church but expected to pick up more sensory and emotional impressions. Felt more when I was driving around Virginia in the mid-70s and had prickly sensations driving through a woodland. Later learned that was where the Battle of the Wilderness/Spotsylvania was fought. Maybe because there was a crowd in the former and I was alone in the latter? Increased sensitivity in these locations would probably correlate with sensitivity to animals and trees.

      b. Didn’t make time to tme-travel with Shoshana to discover how her paw was injured in January and whether memories of that injury are connected with her yipping cries.

      5. FAT COMMUNICATION

      With Margaret D’s Missy.

      6. INTUITION GAMES

6/10 odd-even guesses with die cube, then 8/10 correct.

Practice Accountability And Earn BOnus Session with VAL – December 8-14, 2018

      1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?
5-20 minutes silent sitting, mindfulness in my doing and being
      2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?
I took a dog to the vet and the vet gave him a poor diagnose. As I wanted to get sad and feel sorry for him while he was sitting on the passenger seat looking outside, I connected with him and he said:”Don’t be sad. I had a good life. I am okay. Enjoy life.” My sadness vanished.
      3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week?
How fastly I can connect with animals and feel and sense their ailment. I know that the dog Eddie had some growth in his rectal area and mucus/liquid in the lungs. These were pretty much what the vet diagnosed after the x-ray.
      4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week? None
      5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the featured animal in the Discussion of that animal if you have not already done so.
      Haven’t done it yet.
      6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not? Didn’t think about it.

ACCOUNTABILITY REPORT FOR DECEMBER 8 – DECEMBER 14

      1. MEDITATION TYPES, TIMES

One missed day; otherwise, 10-35 minutes silent sitting usually followed by a Course 1 meditation either listened to or from memory.

      2. CONNECT WITH INTENTION TO COMMUNICATE WITH AN ANIMAL

Again tried to time travel with Shoshana about how her paw was injured in January. The only information that seemed true was that I felt and mentally saw bushes coming up from my hands. There are lines of bushes around the foundations of some houses around mine (as well as mine).

What seemed like my making up a story was imagining that Starlon (don’t know his real name or if he has one) may have chased and fought her (he’s been around from before she was born and I’ve seen him chasing and fighting male cats), that she may have squeezed under the wooden gate of the fence of the house next door before the new owner moved in (I’ve seen cats do that), and that Starlon bit her left back paw when she was in the process of slipping under.

Shoshana didn’t seem interested in this discussion because her paw felt fine, she was okay with being inside, and Starlon disappeared after the incident (I saw him a month or two ago at a house around the corner).

Then I tried to find out why she has the daily or oftener yipping sessions if she doesn’t have bad dreams about this (she didn’t cry out until months afterwards) and if she doesn’t have a UTI. I have to try to focus with her on her missing littermate sister.

      3. CELEBRATE

Sometimes finding it easy to sit still for twenty minutes.

      4. CHALLENGES, QUESTIONS

      a. My male cat, Raven Raffaele, wants so much attention. When I go to sit or eat at the north-facing table, he jumps there to be brushed. When I’m at the computer at the east-facing table, he’s there to be petted or at least sit close to the keyboard. After a few minutes, he gets the idea that I’m otherwise occupied, so he jumps down–and that makes me feel guilty. He’s so considerate: at night when I turn around in bed, he’s the only kitty who jumps over me so we’re again together. The others dig their claws into my legs or whatever because I’ve disturbed them.

      b. Also guilts about the male orange cat who hangs around wanting food. If I put out a bowl of food for him separate from the one for Rosalie, he might do as Starlon used to do to Shoshana when she was an outdoor cat: he’d move to her bowl, nudge her away, eat up her food, and then go back to finish the food in his bowl. Bad enough to be paying over $60/month for Rosalie’s food when she still runs away from me after ten months of visiting.

      c. At least two other cats (Yossi and often Lily-Grace) imitate Julie-Belle in pooing on the bathroom floor instead of in the litter box. I so resent having to clean up after them as well as do the regular scooping and scrubbing up after their upchucks, etc. Julie-Belle eats too much too fast; I don’t know what the others’ problems are besides hairballs.

      FAT COMMUNICATION

      Posted with Missy.

      INTUITION GAMES

      a. Guesses in everyday living like whether a piece of mail will arrive, a traffic light will turn, what a character will say next in a tv episode, what time it is when I wake up at night. Didn’t do well on the last today: I got up thinking it was 6:30 on my analog clock; a few minutes later, saw on the kitchen clock that it was 1:30 am.

      b. Got 10/10 wrong with the die cube. Irritated because Raven was hanging over me?
