–> Ready to Practice with the Accountability Game? –> Ready to earn special bonus time with Val? Here’s how to do do both:

One of the most important things to help you stay on track with your goals is to be accountable on a regular basis. To help you with that, once a week please answer these simple questions listed below.

This practice is designed to help you become more consciously aware of your journey, to celebrate your successes and share any perceived “failures” so they can be acknowledged, healed and cleared. Mistakes are a necessary part of the journey. There are no right answers here and this is not a test. Just do your best. Doing this exercise will help you improve your skills and be more consciously aware at all times. Remember this is a journey, not a destination. The idea is for you to stay conscious and make progress.

NOTE: Gold and Platinum Club Members are Eligible to Earn the Accountability Bonus Call Award (a live small group coaching session with Val and the month’s other Accountability Bonus Award winners). Here’s how Gold and Platinum Members earn their sessions:

      1) Stay Accountable. Each week there will be a new Accountability Discussion for the time period of Saturday through Friday to which you can post any day of the week. You are invited to report on you efforts, progress and frustrations during the week since your last post. You don’t have to have perfect results. It is more important that you are trying, taking action and sharing what’s happening for you.

      2) When you’ve completed 12 consecutive weeks of accountability posts you will receive an email from the Coaching Club Moderator with the Subject “Congratulations – you’ve earned a bonus session with Val.” This email will be sent after the new week’s Accountability Discussion has been posted to the Forum. If you miss a week, just start your count over the next week. (Note: All students will benefit from this exercise. However, you must be a Gold or Platinum Member to earn bonus session with Val.)

      3) In the Congratulations email, you’ll receive instructions on how to participate. Use your time for animal communication mentoring, healing, and/or Val’s help working with your own animal(s).

      4) Post each week during the Saturday to Friday timeframe. All posts are automatically time stamped and should align with the appropriate week to apply toward earning a free session with Val. Note: You can’t wait for 3 months then do 12 week’s worth of reporting in 1 week! Having the practice over time will strengthen your Animal Communication muscles.

MEMBER POSTING INSTRUCTIONS: Just copy these 5 questions into your comment below and answer them. Then click Post.

      1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?

      2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?

      3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week?

      4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week?

      5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the featured animal in the Discussion of that animal if you have not already done so.

      6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?

Tip: To copy the questions, highlight the text and type ctrl-C (hold down the ctrl key and type a C) then place the cursor in the Reply box and use ctrl-V to paste.

Remember the weekly posting period runs from Saturday through noon 12:00pm Central (Texas) United States Friday which is the same as 5pm in system time shown at the top of your posts (it is the Universal Time (Greenwich, UK)). You can check your own time using the Time Zone converter at:

      https://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/converter-classic.html

Note: Upgrade to Gold or Platinum membership at any time by emailing [email protected] and letting us know.

While only posts answering the above questions count as Accountability Posts, you are welcome to comment on anyone else’s posts. We are here to learn from and inspire each other too! Provide feedback to others and we will learn together.

      Much love, Barb & Val

      1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?   I spent about 2 hours in total meditating.

      I did Val’s Grounding Meditation /Gratitude Meditations /Morning Meditations

      2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?

Yes, I did. I communicated with a bird that was sick outside my yard. He was unable to move was scared, and ready to attack. I came near him but he was afraid and in a panic. I created a distance so that there was a safe and sacred space between us. His eyes and beak were wide open. I asked if I could take him to a vet who could maybe help him or if he wanted me to move him someplace else. He said he wanted to stay where he was. I used Val’s “become the animal exercise” and could feel his pain. I told him how sorry I was that he was feeling this way. I matched and mirrored his panicked breathing and then slowed my breathing down and soon he started to breath gently, relax and softly started blinking his eyes looking at me with trust and love in his eyes. I asked him if he could show me what it was like to fly and he did. I then asked if I could take him on a journey. I used the shapeshifting technique Val taught in the Platinum Masterclass to be like a bird and flew way up high in the sky until there was a beautiful white light. I went back and checked on him and he remained peaceful until he went to the white light on his own terms a few hours later. Just before that me told me that he was not afraid.

      3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week?

I would like to celebrate that even though I was so sad about the sick bird I had communication with, I was able to keep my composure enough to help him be calm and peaceful.

      4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week?

The challenge I had this week was that I wanted to do more to help the sick bird but had to listen, honour and respect that he wanted to stay where he was.

      5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results.

Yes, I did and posted my results.

      6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?

Last week there was a huge spider ( Mac) in my house that I decided to have help me with my intuition games. He was still around at the beginning of this week so I continued the game guessing where he would be each night. He appeared twice …once I guessed exactly where he would be (on a specific wall) and was correct. The second time I guessed I would not see him at all but he was found on my front door. He said “Now you see me, now you don’t”. I went to go and get my camera to get a photo of him and when I got back, he was gone. I haven’t seen him since.

      1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?

Some short sessions, but not even every day. Things are a bit crazy at present, but the next 2 weeks I will be on leave and plan to get back into the habit of daily centering and focusing meditations.

      2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?

I talked a few times to my feral cat Blacky, who is presently living in my bedroom. She had a massive tumor removed from her left front paw. Now the left is open (without fur) and still wet and mildly bleeding at times. So it is absolutely impossible to let her out. Every now and then she stands by the window and requests to be let out. Then I tell her why this is not possible and she settles in on my office chair …. until the next try a couple hours later.

Yesterday Blacky got company from a feral kitten, who has problems with her left hind paw. Yesterday I finally managed to take her to the vet. Before I picked her up, I told her where I was going to take her and that we will try to make her paw work again. Then I asked her to please be cooperative, because there was only 10 minutes before the vet would close his office. Then I picked her up and put her in the box. She never tried to fight and was also very quiet at the vet’s office.

      3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week?

I managed to get close to most of the youngsters outdoors, so I hope I can take them next week for spaying together with the 3 that had already moved in with us.

      4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week?

I have a huge time problem and therefore don’t communicate as much and as often as I would like and need to do.

      5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the featured animal in the Discussion of that animal if you have not already done so.

      No

      6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?

      No games

      1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?

I spent 20-35 minutes each nite before going to sleep listening to the silence. My little guest dog Oso has been sleeping with me, and he just curls up right next to me. I’m really going to miss this little one when he goes home!

      2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?

I talk to Oso every day (as well as the rest of the fur family), and he obviously understands me when I tell him to “go get his (toy) monkey”. At first I wasn’t sure what to do with him while I was in the shower, and decided to tell him to just wait for me on my bed. When I get done and open the door, there he is on my bed waiting for me. How I wish I could get his side of the communication! It’s so obvious that he’s sending it to me.

      3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week?

Oso is a tiny bundle of energy and fun to have around. Celebrating him being here.

      4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week?

Still I wonder why I can’t get their side of the story except for just once in a while.

      5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the featured animal in the Discussion of that animal if you have not already done so.

      No time.

      6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?

      No time.

      1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?

Most days, yes, a variety of different meditations. I need to start keeping a log since by the end of the week I do not remember what I did when. I used some of Susann’s recorded Journeys and of course the meditations during Val’s class. It has been a rough week for me in several ways, so some of them were more about healing for myself.

      2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not? No, sorry, this just did not happen.

      3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week? Nothing

      4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week? I have been too upset over other situations unrelated to animal communication to do it.

      5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the featured animal in the Discussion of that animal if you have not already done so. Well, I have spent much time with Missy on my lap talking to her and connecting with her as best I can. We are so close I am connected but I have not received information from her specifically.

      6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not? No, I don’t seem to think of them.

      1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you? Yes 4 times. Out of body meditations. It hasn’t happened yet but it is very relaxing and I go deeper each time.

      2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?
Yes. Angel eats everything she shouldn’t and throws it up. I don’t have to prompt her to the bathroom. She goes on her own. I can tell her to go dad to be let out and she finds him and if he is not quick to respond she will come back and tell on him which tickles me every time. She understands more every day.
      3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week?
Getting more time to practice. I know that I can learn and expand my abilities and have no doubts about this.
      4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week? getting back messages in person is what I am not consistent with.

      5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the featured animal in the Discussion of that animal if you have not already done so.
Yes I asked Missy about her lifetime in Egypt as a temple cat.
      6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not? Forgot

      1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?
5-20 minutes. Silent sitting, being mindful, walking meditation and use my deep breathing a lot to be centered.
      2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?
I wasn’t aware of it. I talk to animals all the time.
      3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week?
      Nothing this week.
      4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week?
      None of both.
      5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the featured animal in the Discussion of that animal if you have not already done so.
No, forgot and now I do feel too tired.

      1. MEDITATION: TYPES, TIMES

Not Monday or Tuesday but 10-20 minutes of silent sitting other days plus usually a Course 1 meditation. Spending too much time reading about meditation and related topics instead of doing it.

      2. CONNECT WITH INTENTION TO COMMUNICATE

Mostly this week I’ve tried to connect with Julie-Belle, my 14-year-old (in spring 2019) endearing, exasperating cat. If she’s trying to tell me why she’s licking and chewing to make sores in her back in addition to her belly, I’m not getting her messages. Next month, a vet will examine her for physical causes. Emotionally, what cause when she’s the undisputed matriarch?

I’ve tried the February 10th Q&A healing technique that worked so quickly with the two patches where Shoshana was losing fur after vaccinations. Also ho-oponopono and will continue with both.

      3. CELEBRATE

      a. Successes this week of Jo B. and Barbara G.

      b. Looking forward to the Advanced Topics course–though I have to review and practice techniques in the beginning course.

      c. Maybe solved the problem with the orange male cat visitor who started showing up on the back patio usually when a small, vocal female came over from a drainage area behind the house across the street. For about three years, I used to see an orange male cat on the next block up from my house; did he become homeless and smell food here?

Anyway, I was reluctant to feed him because he scared away Rosalie, the other cat; because of the cost when I have thousands owed in urgent house repairs; and because his presence might anger my male cat. Raven, my male cat, used to furiously paw the glass and bend and break the venetian blind slats in my glass-paned back door when he saw another male cat, Starlon, who used to come.

One morning this week, Rosalie the Lorelei gave her usual pre-dawn cries. When I put out the combination of wet and dry food in the dark, I was surprised to see the orange cat. More surprised when he gave an ear-splitting, prolonged shriek as I was lowering the plate to the patio floor. Even more when they shared the 8-inch Dixie plate. Raven doesn’t seem to pay attention to him either when he (Raven) is on the screened porch part of the patio or at a window around the patio. The orange cat used to growl and make other sounds when I fed Rosalie; this shriek is only when he’s about to eat.

I’ll somehow keep feeding both as long as this harmonious situation continues. He is now “Clooney,” an Irish boy’s name, because it’s fun to say, because it doesn’t hurt to share the name with the handsome actor, and because it means “an intriguing rogue” (also, a green plain or pasture).

      CHALLENGES, QUESTIONS

How best to help Julie-Belle heal. Interesting that during ho-oponopono, daughter Janie-Kate went to lay beside her mother on the curvy cat scratcher.

      FAT COMMUNICATION

Will post about Missy after submitting this report.

      INTUITIVE GAMES

Die: 2/10 correct, then 5/10 correct yesterday. Over time, the results are going the wrong way, and I’m not learning how to tell odd from even.

Tried after posting and got 7/10 correct plus both numbers correct the two times a number came to mind.

      1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you? Yes, I meditated at least three times thanking the Universe for various things and asking the Universe for various things. I do not know how long each time lasted.

      2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not? Yes, my cats. I know at least twice they understood. Perhaps every time they understood.

      3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week? My cats are guiding me to wanting to accept situations more like they do and the realization to if I want something to go for it.

      4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week? Nothing new.

      5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the featured animal in the Discussion of that animal if you have not already done so.
Yes, I did. I greeted Missy and asked her how she’s doing. She answered me and asked me how I’m doing. I answered her. Missy sent me a visual of crystals, a visual of her pawing at the crystals, and a visual of her sitting next to the crystals with her tail wrapped around her paws.
I asked her what she had been up to this week. She said she had gotten lots of attention. She said Roxy sneaked out this week. She thinks it’s slightly funny when he does that. He thinks it’s hilarious! She said she loves to sit in your lap while you watch TV and talk to her and rub under her chin.
She said she likes her canned turkey food. Then, the thought of “baby food” came to me. There is a rescue that is mostly for cats that gives cats baby food sometimes. I asked her about if she’d like baby food. She said she might try it if it’s turkey. She said though that she’d have an issue if it’s cold baby food. Since I personally wouldn’t use a microwave to heat it, I asked her about if the baby food is warm enough just from room temperature. She said she might be interested.
She then wanted to go. We wished each other a good day and said good bye and I told her that I look forward to talking with her again.

      6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not? Yes, I did with Kit-Ten. I posted for Claire to see the communication.
