–> Ready to Practice with the Accountability Game? –> Ready to earn special bonus time with Val? Here’s how to do do both:

One of the most important things to help you stay on track with your goals is to be accountable on a regular basis. To help you with that, once a week please answer these simple questions listed below.

This practice is designed to help you become more consciously aware of your journey, to celebrate your successes and share any perceived “failures” so they can be acknowledged, healed and cleared. Mistakes are a necessary part of the journey. There are no right answers here and this is not a test. Just do your best. Doing this exercise will help you improve your skills and be more consciously aware at all times. Remember this is a journey, not a destination. The idea is for you to stay conscious and make progress.

NOTE: Gold and Platinum Club Members are Eligible to Earn the Accountability Bonus Call Award (a live small group coaching session with Val and the month’s other Accountability Bonus Award winners). Here’s how Gold and Platinum Members earn their sessions:

      1) Stay Accountable. Each week there will be a new Accountability Discussion for the time period of Saturday through Friday to which you can post any day of the week. You are invited to report on you efforts, progress and frustrations during the week since your last post. You don’t have to have perfect results. It is more important that you are trying, taking action and sharing what’s happening for you.

      2) When you’ve completed 12 consecutive weeks of accountability posts you will receive an email from the Coaching Club Moderator with the Subject “Congratulations – you’ve earned a bonus session with Val.” This email will be sent after the new week’s Accountability Discussion has been posted to the Forum. If you miss a week, just start your count over the next week. (Note: All students will benefit from this exercise. However, you must be a Gold or Platinum Member to earn bonus session with Val.)

      3) In the Congratulations email, you’ll receive instructions on how to participate. Use your time for animal communication mentoring, healing, and/or Val’s help working with your own animal(s).

      4) Post each week during the Saturday to Friday timeframe. All posts are automatically time stamped and should align with the appropriate week to apply toward earning a free session with Val. Note: You can’t wait for 3 months then do 12 week’s worth of reporting in 1 week! Having the practice over time will strengthen your Animal Communication muscles.

MEMBER POSTING INSTRUCTIONS: Just copy these 5 questions into your comment below and answer them. Then click Post.

      1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?

      2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?

      3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week?

      4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week?

      5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the featured animal in the Discussion of that animal if you have not already done so.

      6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?

Tip: To copy the questions, highlight the text and type ctrl-C (hold down the ctrl key and type a C) then place the cursor in the Reply box and use ctrl-V to paste.

Remember the weekly posting period runs from Saturday through noon 12:00pm Central (Texas) United States Friday which is the same as 5pm in system time shown at the top of your posts (it is the Universal Time (Greenwich, UK)). You can check your own time using the Time Zone converter at:

      https://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/converter-classic.html

Note: Upgrade to Gold or Platinum membership at any time by emailing [email protected] and letting us know.

While only posts answering the above questions count as Accountability Posts, you are welcome to comment on anyone else’s posts. We are here to learn from and inspire each other too! Provide feedback to others and we will learn together.

      Much love, Barb & Val

      1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?

Not keeping up with my regular sitting in silence routine or the morning “rpm’s” as I’m trying to read my new book on energy healing for animals, and I’ve had to unexpectedly return to the working world, which is really messing with my normal schedule. Not to mention the fur-kids. We’re all confused, kitties aren’t eating normally, when I do get a chance to sit down, there’s usually always somebody on my lap. I’ve tried to relay the message to them, but I’m not sure it’s getting through. Ginger is the only one who has been able to “go with the flow” thus far. I do try to be mindful throughout the day in whatever I’m doing.

      2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?

Yes, trying to tell my fur-family why our schedule is all of a sudden different and inconsistent.

      3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week?

I would like to celebrate the spring birds returning!!! It seems each day I see different ones returning. Welcome back!!!

      4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week?

My challenge is communicating to my kids why our schedule has become so inconsistent recently. Maybe they got the message, they’re just not ok with it?

      5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the featured animal in the Discussion of that animal if you have not already done so.

I sent a greeting to Lucy and the baby as I was coming to post accountability and asked how they are doing. I got that they are both fine, but that Lucy would like the baby to be on the outside now.

      6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?

      Haven’t had time.

      1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you? I participated in the platinum meditation and continue daily practice. When I can’t sleep in the night I also meditate.

I had a tremendous experience with Tina, also posted under problems with animals. I am also practicing connecting with rats and guinea pigs this week.

      3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week? It feels funny when I don’t make the time to connect with an animal every day.

      4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week? I wonder why a problem with an animal diappears and then crops up again when circumstances aggravate the animal. I feel maybe I am not getting at the root of the problem….

      5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the featured animal in the Discussion of that animal if you have not already done so. Yes and Lucy wanted me to connect with Tina, her baby that is having growing up challenges, so I did.

      6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not? Too busy this week.

      1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?

A few short sessions each day ( grounding and mindfulness). I tried a longer session Monday night before bed, but I fell asleep in my office chair and woke up only half an hour before I had to get up anyway.

      2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?

Yes, finally Blacky is moving all around the kennel. She found the wooden boxes on the first floor that give her protection, when she wants to rest and also some spots where the sun shines in. Now I am moving my attention mainly to Maedi (girl). She is in a very bad shape, but won’t allow me to touch her. She is sick since he a very long time. However there is no way to take her to the vet. Her ears are crippled from the mites, but she won’t let me clean them and put medicine in and in the meantime she also developed dental problems. There must be other problems as well, because over the last 2 weeks she has rapidly lost a lot of weight, although she is eating a lot. By now she pees and poops wherever she is. She started having mobility problems as well yesterday she could hardly walk and kept falling over. My feeling at the moment is that she started the process of transitioning.

      3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week?

After our last Platinum class, I am watching my own behaviour more closely and try to relate that to the problems I have with my fur kids. This type of awareness is not (yet) solving the issues, but it is a good starting point.

      4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week?

Lately, I have a lot going on and that results in difficulties to focus and to relax.

      5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the featured animal in the Discussion of that animal if you have not already done so.

      No time

      6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?

      No time.

      1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you? yes, I did mostly guided meditations and just sitting in God´s presence. Maby an hour a day.

      2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?

Yes I connected with Lucy and posted it in the forum.
A horse also crashed my phonecall with a friend when she was in the stable. I could see with my bare eyes how a horsemule came out of the cellphone and gave me a kiss on the cheek. I could feel it too! I then heard a song playing in my mind, I should be so Lucky, with Kylie Minough. The horse name is lucky :). He then said he liked order in the stable and that the male horse next to him needed some attention. My friend looked over to the horse next to him and it turned out that his person had forgotten to take his halter off. My friend helped him with this. I then heard him say that they have some spirits running around in the stable that they needed some help with. I promised him that I would help with this at a later time. It was a precious experience 🙂

I do not know for sure how many times, nor do I know for sure how long.

      1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?

Some days I did when I was in a teleconference group that included a meditation or at Unity church service which again includes meditation. Otherwise it has been very informal such as when I am going to sleep. I am teaching Reiki Sun-Mon so will be teaching and doing the REiki meditations to m students.

      2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not? As always I sort of communicated with Roxy but not very successfully.

      3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week? Nothing to celebrate

      4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week? Finding time to do it

      5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the featured animal in the Discussion of that animal if you have not already done so. No

      1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?

Yes, 4 meditations, guided and Forrest sounds meditations. 20 to 30 minutes each.

      2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?

Yes, daily with the horses. The move went well. They’re starting to get settled. 3 of them got loose and ran almost 2 miles away. I was able to catch them and get them back home and no injuries even though they went over a barbed wire fence. Yikes!!

      3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week?

I was able to give the horses the worst case scenario and what could have happened. I showed each one what it would look like if they were hit by a vehicle and showed them what they would look like laying on the road under a truck with a broken leg.
They all paid attention and their eyes widened when they received the video.

      4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week?

      None.

      5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the featured animal in the Discussion of that animal if you have not already done so.

Yes. We communicated about the birth plan. Lucy will go to a birthing center in Scottsdale to have the baby. In case the baby needs medication or has medical needs she needs to be where there is a vet available around the clock. She did this for her previous pregnancies.

      6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?

      No time this week.

      1. MEDITATION: TYPES, TIMES

The Hollow Body meditation 3x. The third time, when I again wanted to listen to it from the Platinum Club recording, it was taking me over five minutes to find where it began. Probably my backwardness with technology, but I am eager for the new meditation CD to become available. Also, I begin imagining seltzer water color replacing the interior stuff, but it keeps turning cobalt color.

      2. INTENTION TO COMMUNICATE WITH AN ANIMAL

Julie-Belle and Janie-Kate had appointments for distemper shots this week. I did the see it-say it-feel it routine with Julie-Belle and later a quicker version with Janie-Kate. Also, I asked J-B to go over it with J-K. J-B went readily into the carrier, but I couldn’t extricate J-K from the lowest level of the cat tower where her nails dug into the carpet. I brought Yossi instead and will take J-K next month when Raven (and formerly Yossi) are scheduled.

A lesson learned: when I spent more time preparing Janie-Kate for the vet visit in January, putting her into the carrier was not a problem. It may have been the first time she didn’t resist. Also, an appointment suddenly opened up for Shoshana’s distemper shot, and I snatched her up and shoved her into the carrier. For the first time, she was upset when going to the vet and never stopped her vocal protesting until we were back at home.

      CELEBRATE

The first of four Jungian dream interpretation classes was held at the community college near me. The teacher is an LPT who studied at the Jung Institute in Zurich under a professor-analyst who had actually been one of Jung’s students. Being aware of my dreams may help me with animals because one dream this week was of my new aloe vera withering. It’s fine now that I watered it the morning after the dream.

Also, I count twelve of these reports since January 4, 2019!

      4. CHALLENGES, QUESTIONS

When the vet gave some of my cats steroid shots for their allergies, he said they’d have to return two to three weeks later for distemper shots to avoid problems at the site of the injections. He agreed that they would no longer need to receive feline leukemia shots because they haven’t been outside for two years. The distemper shot, though, was still necessary because the disease is airborne and they’re out on the screened porch with visiting outdoor cats sometimes right on the other side of the screen. The indoor cats are on tables (with beds, faux sheepskin, etc.) against the screen.

But the steroid shots are $40 and their effectiveness may last only a week. Too many shots aren’t healthy. And, the vet said, central Texas is the allergy capital of the state. Raven is afflicted with the most scabs on his head, so the vet said he could be put on a diet that eliminates a certain protein (for which he’d have to be tested), but that the food is expensive, that it would be only for him, and that he’d have to stay on it for the rest of his life. Obviously, we need a better solution.

      5. FAT COMMUNICATION

Will try again later today. Lucy may have been available, but the man across the street was mowing his lawn and another a house over was drilling or whatever to build his front porch, and I was too distracted. Have been thinking of her and Alicia’s horses on and off during the week. Whenever I see a headline on “Baby Sussex,” that triggers thoughts of “Miss Moo.”

      6. INTUITIVE GAMES

9/10 odd-even correct with die. Intended to try the body-sway for odd-even. Instead, did imagine “hollow body” and was more successful than recent weeks.
