–> It’s Time to Practice with the Accountability Game!

Ready to earn special bonus private coaching time with Val? Here’s how:

One of the most important things to help you stay on track with your goals is to be accountable on a regular basis. To help you with that, once a week please answer these simple questions listed below.

This practice is designed to help you become more consciously aware of your journey, to celebrate your successes and share any perceived “failures” so they can be acknowledged, healed and cleared. Mistakes are a necessary part of the journey. There are no right answers here and this is not a test. Just do your best. Doing this exercise will help you improve your skills and be more consciously aware at all times. Remember this is a journey, not a destination. The idea is for you to stay conscious and make progress.

NOTE: All students are invited to play, but only Gold and Platinum Club Members are eligible to earn the Accountability private Coaching Session Awards (value $125).

Here’s how Gold and Platinum Members earn your sessions:

      1) Stay Accountable. Each week there will be a new Accountability Discussion for the time period of Saturday through Friday to which you can post any day of the week. You are invited to report on you efforts, progress and frustrations during the week since your last post. You don’t have to have perfect results. It is more important that you are trying, taking action and sharing what’s happening for you.

      2) When you’ve completed 12 consecutive weeks of accountability posts you will receive an email from the Coaching Club Moderator with the Subject “Congratulations – you’ve earned a coaching session with Val.” This email will be sent after the new week’s Accountability Discussion has been posted to the Forum. If you miss a week, just start your count over the next week.

      3) In the Congratulations email, you’ll receive instructions on how to schedule. Use your time for animal communication mentoring, healing, and/or Val’s help working with your own animal(s).

      4) Post each week during the Saturday to Friday timeframe. All posts are automatically time stamped and should align with the appropriate week to apply toward earning a free session with Val. Note: You can’t wait for 3 months then do 12 week’s worth of reporting in 1 week! Having the practice over time will strengthen your Animal Communication intuitive muscles.

MEMBER POSTING INSTRUCTIONS: Just copy these 6 questions into your comment below and answer them. Then click Post.

      1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?

      2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?

      3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week?

      4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week?

      5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the Featured Animal in the Discussion with that animal if you have not already done so.

      6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?

Tip: To copy the questions, highlight the text and type ctrl-C (hold down the ctrl key and type a C) then place the cursor in the Reply box and use ctrl-V to paste.

Remember the weekly posting period runs from Saturday through noon 12:00pm Central (Texas) United States Friday which is the same as 5pm in system time shown at the top of your posts (it is the Universal Time (Greenwich, UK)). You can check your own time using the Time Zone converter at:

      https://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/converter-classic.html

Note: Silver members can Upgrade to Gold or Platinum membership at any time by emailing [email protected] and letting us know. Put Upgrade in the subject line.

While only posts answering the above questions count as Accountability Posts, you are welcome to comment on anyone else’s posts. We are here to learn from and inspire each other too! Provide feedback to others and we will learn together.

      Much love, Barb & Val

Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?
Just left the meditation retreat I have been attending all week. Access to “myself” is easier when I ignore the mind and turn down the volume on my thoughts.
      2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?
I connected with Nirvana, s kitty who came home limping and not eating after two days of following his instincts. He told me he only returned because his person needed him and he felt her love and knew showing her unconditional love was his purpose this time. He didn’t think limping and not eating was any big deal.

      3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week? Former Clients are sending me referrals.

      4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week?
My self confidence continues to get in my way.
      5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the Featured Animal in the Discussion with that animal if you have not already done so. Not yet.

      6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not? No. Too busy meditating.

      1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?

I am still off track from the baby arriving. I only meditated twice, guided and one in silence tuning in.

      2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?

Yes, I connect with Lucy about the baby. We decided that the baby was ready to stay in the pasture instead of coming to the barn at night. It’s going well. Lucy likes as much attention as the baby. She’ll cut in front of the baby to get her itchy spots scratched first.

      3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week?

How joyful watching the baby experience her new life. I am working with her on why she shouldn’t paw or kick. She stopped kicking, she still likes to paw.

      4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week?

Time for quieting my mind, I am going to Sedona with friends to meditate in the great energy there.

      5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the Featured Animal in the Discussion with that animal if you have not already done so.

      Not yet

      6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?

Working with the pendulum a lot.

      1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?

This week I did a 15 Morning Gratitude Meditation every morning.

      2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?

I communicated with a puppy that was filled with nothing but curiosity and joy. It made me feel so carefree and wonderful.

      3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week?

I would like to celebrate that I am on this journey.

      4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week?

The challenge I had this week was that I let stressful situations at work interfere with my focus.

      5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the featured animal in the Discussion of that animal if you have not already done so.

I communicated with Chino and thanked him for talking with my fellow students.

      6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?

I did not this week due to a busy hectic schedule.

      1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?

      Only a few short sessions.

      2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?

Had to give Zoe and Puma some pep talks. They are now living together with Grisi in my bedroom. The door is always open so that they can move around. But they prefer to stay mainly in the bedroom, where they spend their day and most of the night kicking down things from my desk, biting charging cables, ripping down books and decoration from the shelves and when they run out of ideas they move on to the bathroom to mess with the toilet paper or kick the sand out of the litter box and then mix it with some water from the drinking bowl. Unfortunately, they calm down after I told them off only for a very short time and then they forget again what I told them.

      3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week?

I am happy that Wuschel listens when I tell her why I put ointment in her baby’s eyes and doesn’t attack me when I pick him up.

      4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week?

Grisi is still coughing and has to take medicine. I told her many times that she will have the cough for the rest of her life, if we can’t stop it now, but she won’t cooperate and we play catch me if you can every night for about half an hour.

      5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the Featured Animal in the Discussion with that animal if you have not already done so.

      No time

      6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?

      No time for games

My normal 20-30 minutes each evening before I go to sleep, all but 2 nights with the nature sounds, the other 2 just silent sitting to see if anything would show up. As usual, nothing did.

      2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?

Nothing out of the ordinary, one way conversations with my fur family and the wonderful little creatures that live around my house.

      3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week?

      Nothing new.

      4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week?

      Nothing new.

      5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the Featured Animal in the Discussion with that animal if you have not already done so.

I offered a greeting when coming to post accountability, but got no response.

      6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?

      No time.

I meditated daily this week for 15 minutes each but without specific intent.

      2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?

I have attempted to connect with my animals, especially the cat while he wasn’t coming home but I wasn’t sure if he heard my message.

      3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week?

I am staying persistent, even during really busy times for me.

      4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week?

As always, still struggle with the confidence of whether I am tuning in to the animal or not and knowing if I am hearing their messages.

      5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the Featured Animal in the Discussion with that animal if you have not already done so.

Noope, but hope to this week again.

      6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?

      1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you? I don’t think so-not in the right head space.

      2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not? Yes, with my cats. They understood at least some. Two things were really great that they seemed to understand. I also did with Chino, the FAT, who told me about his life as Jo’s dog. I also did with Tiki, Jo’s cat, who told me things about himself and his life as the cat in the body named Tiki. I might have also with birds.

      3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week? My cats comforting me/trying to comfort me when I need it. Also, them seeming to understand some things I’ve said or energy I’ve let off and getting along better and Hawkeye not being as demanding regarding food.

      4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week? How can I get Hawkeye to stop waking me up so early in the morning?

      5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the Featured Animal in the Discussion with that animal if you have not already done so. Yes, he told me about himself and his life as Jo’s dog. I posted the communication for Jo to see it.
      6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not? Yes, Tiki told me about himself and his life and something about his past life. I posted the communication for Jo to see it.

      MEDITATION: TYPES, TIMES

Same old 20-minute guided chakra meditation daily–just because I’m too lazy to substitute another in the boombox. Square breaths throughout the day to get less distracted (1-2 in, 3-4 hold, 5-6 out, 7-8 hold).

INTENTION TO CONNECT AND COMMUNICATE WITH AN ANIMAL

–When I awaken at night, sometimes I try to recall what I was dreaming; sometimes I do square breaths. I don’t know whether this was a dream or a meditation response, but I seemed to be with Shoshana and a loose bouquet of white roses. Just now, I Googled the meaning of white roses: “White: Purity, Innocence, Sympathy, Spirituality.”

–Rosalie is the only outdoor cat who still visits for food (don’t know what happened to Clooney and the black cat who resembles Yossi). If I start opening cans for her, the indoor cats want to eat again, regardless of how recently they ate. Because I don’t want Rosalie to keep balancing on the picture window ledge, often calling, I try to tell her to go home because there won’t be more food for her today ($60/month is enough spent on her). After two days, she ceased coming in the late afternoon-early evening. Today will be third day of her staying away at that time (or at least of my not noticing her here).

      CELEBRATE

Connection, however brief and tenuous, with Shoshana (if such it was).

      CHALLENGES, QUESTIONS

      –Time is strange: Shoshana’s death (5/18/19), Miranda Faye’s (1/6/11), and Persephone’s (12/18/00) seem equally distant/equally close.

–The five remaining indoor cats have always been eager to eat, but before Shoshana died and before the flea infestation, I was able to open their food cans and serve them on the dining room table. Now they jump on the kitchen counters and interfere with my opening the cans and start eating right then and there. Because they were pushing each other to get food, the dishes tended to fall to the floor so now I just put the dishes on the floor. No order, no manners anymore; why this change?

–Easy to think from S 6/8 QA session: when connecting with an animal, begin with imagination and then there’s a switch/transition when the animal’s thoughts, feelings, sensations come through rather than your own. Haven’t been able to do.

      FAT COMMUNICATION

With Jo B’s Chino to be posted after this.

      INTUITION GAMES

Have been asking questions with a pendulum, but haven’t been able to verify the answers. Have to ask verifiable questions. Was about to ask when the internet would be back up yesterday after a storm; it came up as I was asking.

Oh, wow, this almost fell through the cracks this week.

      1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you? I am in the second week of an Intensive wit Susann Taylor Shier that includes lots of journeys and other exercises. The title of the Immersion is “Master Your Intuitive Connection.” I hope it will help me to reconnect with my ability to do AC.

      2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not? Other than the ongoing talking to my cats, no. I am trying to sense how they are managing the move but no real conversation.

      3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week? The intensive two week problem with Susann is helping me connect with my guidance.

      4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week? Just a very busy week unpacking and putting everything away and preparing to teach a Reiki workshop this weekend.

      5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the Featured Animal in the Discussion with that animal if you have not already done so. Not yet – focus on moving.

      6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not? No, did not do that either.

An empowering coaching call with Val!
      4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week?
Inner critic getting a little noisy and also I am learning how it works to do an impromptu animal communication session in person with a boisterous dog named Lucille. She is a fireball of love.
      5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the Featured Animal in the Discussion with that animal if you have not already done so.
      Yes, still haven’t posted.
      6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not
I do random games where I try to guess things like where someone is from or what a certain price will be on something, or the timings of events, games like that
