–> It’s Time to Practice with the Accountability Game!

Ready to earn special bonus private coaching time with Val? Here’s how:

One of the most important things to help you stay on track with your goals is to be accountable on a regular basis. To help you with that, once a week please answer these simple questions listed below.

This practice is designed to help you become more consciously aware of your journey, to celebrate your successes and share any perceived “failures” so they can be acknowledged, healed and cleared. Mistakes are a necessary part of the journey. There are no right answers here and this is not a test. Just do your best. Doing this exercise will help you improve your skills and be more consciously aware at all times. Remember this is a journey, not a destination. The idea is for you to stay conscious and make progress.

NOTE: All students are invited to play, but only Gold and Platinum Club Members are eligible to earn the Accountability private Coaching Session Awards (value $125).

Here’s how Gold and Platinum Members earn your sessions:

      1) Stay Accountable. Each week there will be a new Accountability Discussion for the time period of Saturday through Friday to which you can post any day of the week. You are invited to report on you efforts, progress and frustrations during the week since your last post. You don’t have to have perfect results. It is more important that you are trying, taking action and sharing what’s happening for you.

      2) When you’ve completed 12 consecutive weeks of accountability posts you will receive an email from the Coaching Club Moderator with the Subject “Congratulations – you’ve earned a coaching session with Val.” This email will be sent after the new week’s Accountability Discussion has been posted to the Forum. If you miss a week, just start your count over the next week.

      3) In the Congratulations email, you’ll receive instructions on how to schedule. Use your time for animal communication mentoring, healing, and/or Val’s help working with your own animal(s).

      4) Post each week during the Saturday to Friday timeframe. All posts are automatically time stamped and should align with the appropriate week to apply toward earning a free session with Val. Note: You can’t wait for 3 months then do 12 week’s worth of reporting in 1 week! Having the practice over time will strengthen your Animal Communication intuitive muscles.

MEMBER POSTING INSTRUCTIONS: Just copy these 6 questions into your comment below and answer them. Then click Post.

      1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?

      2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?

      3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week?

      4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week?

      5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the Featured Animal in the Discussion with that animal if you have not already done so.

      6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?

Tip: To copy the questions, highlight the text and type ctrl-C (hold down the ctrl key and type a C) then place the cursor in the Reply box and use ctrl-V to paste.

Remember the weekly posting period runs from Saturday through noon 12:00pm Central (Texas) United States Friday which is the same as 5pm in system time shown at the top of your posts (it is the Universal Time (Greenwich, UK)). You can check your own time using the Time Zone converter at:

      https://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/converter-classic.html

Note: Silver members can Upgrade to Gold or Platinum membership at any time by emailing [email protected] and letting us know. Put Upgrade in the subject line.

While only posts answering the above questions count as Accountability Posts, you are welcome to comment on anyone else’s posts. We are here to learn from and inspire each other too! Provide feedback to others and we will learn together.

      Much love, Barb & Val

      1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you? I continue my practice and have added the awareness piece when I am out walking and visiting people.

      2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?
I connected with Silla a mother whale on a whale watch trip and she said she nurtures her babies FULLY and then let’s them go…A very good message for me. Whales are Such large mammals and soooo peaceful! We also saw two Finback whales who uncharacteristicly were resting beside each other in Cape Cod Bay. They told me I could too (rest) I told them thank you for their lesson.
      3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week? After my 15 minute session with Val, I worked with my inner critic and really listened to her and she felt heard and I’ve been able to connect with animals without all the doubts going on.

      4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week?
I am visiting friends and family so finding time to communicate has been challenging.

      5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the Featured Animal in the Discussion with that animal if you have not already done so. Yes. Just posted it.

      6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not? Too much traveling this week.

      1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?

Yes, I did meditate. I did a Val’s Soft Focus Meditation, Prayer Meditation (Kelly Howell) and a Gratitude Meditation.

      2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?

I tried to connect with the leader of a group of parrots in my backyard. They were all walking in a straight line like you might expect ducks followed by duckings to do. I was so amused as it looked like a parade of parrots. I asked if there was a leader of the group I could speak with. Two of them turned around and came towards me right at the same time. They began to peck at each other and each one said that they were the leader. I said that was fine and offered to speak to both of them. They couldn’t agree and then all of them flew away.

      3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week?

I would like to celebrate that I am on this sacred journey and that I am learning so much every day.

      4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week?

The challenge I had this week was that I had so many thoughts going on inside my head that I wanted to spend more time on but ended up getting sidetracked. I did wrote notes so I will be sure to go back to them.

      5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the featured animal in the Discussion of that animal if you have not already done so.

Yes I did and posted my results.

      6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?

I just played a quick game with with a friend and asked them to think of a color and then a number. I guessed they thought of green and number 7. They told me they thought of the color blue and number 7.

      1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?

I tried to remain present throughout the day. Did some short session to calm my mind spread over my days.

      2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?

Finally, I took Wuschel for spaying on Tuesday. She played a game of catch for half an hour Tuesday morning. Finally I asked her to go into the carrier by herself. Otherwise, we would have to postpone the surgery and she would have to stay longer indoors, because I was running late for work. She went into the box and I closed the door. Since I picked her up Tuesday night, she makes it very clear that she feels very sorry for herself. She won’t let me close and has not eaten anything so far.

Yesterday evening I asked a young feral male to find his kitten-friend and bring her for dinner. He rushed around the house and returned with the kitten in tow.

      3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week?

Lately, I am getting more relaxed about communicating with my furry family. And this has a positive effect on the animals as well.

      4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week?

After finding poop and pee on the floor from Indi, one of my blind ex-feral cats for a couple of weeks, I gave her a new litterbox and put it in the corner she was soiling. She used it for peeing, but pooped still right in front of the box. I asked her, why she does it, but did not receive an answer. So I let her know that this makes me very sad. Yesterday there was no poop on the floor, but there wasn’t any in the box either.

      5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the Featured Animal in the Discussion with that animal if you have not already done so.

      Only during our call.

      6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?

      No time.

      1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?

Yes 4 guided meditations. 30-45 minutes each.

      2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?

Yes, been working with the dogs to stay away from the horses. They get tempted to chase or nip at the horses being herding dogs. I told them that they can run and play at the back of the property away from the horses. They have done this the last 3 days and I reward them with a game of fetch afterwards.

      3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week?

Star the baby horse is doing well with not pawing or biting this week. Very hard for a baby to resist so I am grateful.

      4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week?

      Slowing down to listen

      5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the Featured Animal in the Discussion with that animal if you have not already done so.

      Yes and I posted

      6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?

I attempted to connect with Maggie but with little success. I got a sense of her that agreed with what others shared but it was not a strong connection.

      6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not? No, I’m just not into playing games.

      1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?
Breath awareness/spacious moments throughout day every day
      2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?
Everyday I have random encounters with animals wild and domestic and I have always delighted in this communion. I communicated with one animal that I have been communicating with for months now through his health journeys. Useful information shared with pet caretaker and healing sessions always empowering. My cats of course.
      3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week?
Continued love of communing with such precious non human animals
      4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week?
I choose to disengage a bit from forum during hectic summer work schedule in order to honor my body and balance nervous system. I have quite a strong will and determination and it is important that I do not overpush myself even for activities (soul path caliber) i love and career paths I am pursuing with animal communication are best served at this moment by communion with my cats, a few extras, random wild encounters, and meditation throughout day. Rather than being involved on forum and “doing.” I love the doing my soul work and yet overwhelm of work schedule is a challenge. Thus why I prioritize body nourishment and the foundations of this path … meditation and inner work.
      5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the Featured Animal in the Discussion with that animal if you have not already done so. Yes but haven’t written on forum.

      6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not? More card games with self

      1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you? Yes, on the call on Saturday. Also, to a guided meditation. The call with Val I’m not sure how long the meditation was. The guided meditation (not with Val) was about 25 minutes or a little longer.

      2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not? Yes, with my cats and Lion Heart and Maggie. I think at least one of my cats understood something. Lion Heart and Maggie told me about their lives and themselves I think. I tried to also just “be” with a dog I saw somewhere I think.

      MEDITATION: TYPES, TIMES

Daily (ineffective?) chakra clearing am or pm (sometimes both) guided meditation. Insufficient square breaths and zen breaths. Failed at S 7/13 class soft-focus meditation because of observing yard men working at the companion cedar, including grinding its stump.

INTENTION TO CONNECT AND COMMUNICATE WITH AN ANIMAL Posted on FB attempts with Jax.

      CELEBRATE

Nothing in AC but this is cat-related: grateful that Lily-Grace’s annual wellness exam didn’t turn up any problem, that she seems flea-free thanks to the Seresto collar (which may create health problems in the future), that she regained the pound she lost due possibly to the flea infestation (up to 7.5 this week), and that the vet suggested she appreciated stroking behind her ears and at the base of her tail.

      CHALLENGES, QUESTIONS

Sunday 7/14 afternoon, I carried Julie-Belle and Janie-Kate outside to live after finding a turd on the shelf where my first two cats’ photos and ashes had been. I feed and water them twice daily. They stay mostly on the patio under part of the broad overhang (the other section of the L-overhang is over the screened porch), but they also have access to the garage with its always open (broken) overhead door. They call out a few times during the day and night but no louder than when they ask for food now/asked for food as indoor cats. Not as often and not as distressed as Shoshana with her cries and yips.

When I told the vet (during Lily-Grace’s visit) about my putting J-B and J-K outside to live because of their potty behavior, he made an affirmative comment.

FAT COMMUNICATION Will post about Robin S’s Maggie.

INTUITION GAMES Trying to guess whether a particular magazine or Netflix dvd will come in the mail, what time it is when I wake up at night, etc. (actually, there’s not much etc.). Was surprised and disappointed that I’d ordered and received the zener cards in March and haven’t used them yet.

      1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you? I have meditated about 4-5 days this week. I have been doing mantra based meditations and heart meditations.

      2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?
yes; I have been communicating with my own cat Malou and a deer. I also received a greeting from a cat of a friend that crossed over in the beginning of the week. I was also invited to sit and enjoy the presence of a group of deers.

      3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week? It all makes so much sense and I feel a bit more confident one step at a time.

      4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week? None

      5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the Featured Animal in the Discussion with that animal if you have not already done so. No. I have had to take care of my own energy this week.

      6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not? No, not so much in to games.
