–> It’s Time to Practice with the Accountability Game!

Ready to earn special bonus private coaching time with Val? Here’s how:

One of the most important things to help you stay on track with your goals is to be accountable on a regular basis. To help you with that, once a week please answer these simple questions listed below.

This practice is designed to help you become more consciously aware of your journey, to celebrate your successes and share any perceived “failures” so they can be acknowledged, healed and cleared. Mistakes are a necessary part of the journey. There are no right answers here and this is not a test. Just do your best. Doing this exercise will help you improve your skills and be more consciously aware at all times. Remember this is a journey, not a destination. The idea is for you to stay conscious and make progress.

NOTE: All students are invited to play, but only Gold and Platinum Club Members are eligible to earn the Accountability private Coaching Session Awards (value $125).

Here’s how Gold and Platinum Members earn your sessions:

      1) Stay Accountable. Each week there will be a new Accountability Discussion for the time period of Saturday through Friday to which you can post any day of the week. You are invited to report on you efforts, progress and frustrations during the week since your last post. You don’t have to have perfect results. It is more important that you are trying, taking action and sharing what’s happening for you.

      2) When you’ve completed 12 consecutive weeks of accountability posts you will receive an email from the Coaching Club Moderator with the Subject “Congratulations – you’ve earned a coaching session with Val.” This email will be sent after the new week’s Accountability Discussion has been posted to the Forum. If you miss a week, just start your count over the next week.

      3) In the Congratulations email, you’ll receive instructions on how to schedule. Use your time for animal communication mentoring, healing, and/or Val’s help working with your own animal(s).

      4) Post each week during the Saturday to Friday timeframe. All posts are automatically time stamped and should align with the appropriate week to apply toward earning a free session with Val. Note: You can’t wait for 3 months then do 12 week’s worth of reporting in 1 week! Having the practice over time will strengthen your Animal Communication intuitive muscles.

MEMBER POSTING INSTRUCTIONS: Just copy these 6 questions into your comment below and answer them. Then click Post.

      1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?

      2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?

      3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week?

      4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week?

      5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the Featured Animal in the Discussion with that animal if you have not already done so.

      6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?

Tip: To copy the questions, highlight the text and type ctrl-C (hold down the ctrl key and type a C) then place the cursor in the Reply box and use ctrl-V to paste.

Remember the weekly posting period runs from Saturday through noon 12:00pm Central (Texas) United States Friday which is the same as 5pm in system time shown at the top of your posts (it is the Universal Time (Greenwich, UK)). You can check your own time using the Time Zone converter at:

      https://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/converter-classic.html

Note: Silver members can Upgrade to Gold or Platinum membership at any time by emailing [email protected] and letting us know. Put Upgrade in the subject line.

While only posts answering the above questions count as Accountability Posts, you are welcome to comment on anyone else’s posts. We are here to learn from and inspire each other too! Provide feedback to others and we will learn together.

      Much love, Barb & Val

      1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?
Very short daily meditations 15-20 minutes. It’s not working very well but a lot going on personally.
      2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?
Yes. Connected with Bubba (finally) who transitioned 2 weeks ago. He was “floating” peacefully in a soft violet light place waiting for his next body and very content.
      3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week? Very Happy to have another tool in my “toolbox.” Love the chakra healings.

      4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week?
Being organized with all the ways I can be if service to people and their animals.

      5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the Featured Animal in the Discussion with that animal if you have not already done so. Not yet.

      6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not? Too busy this week.

      1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?

10 min guided meditation daily and present moment exercises throughout the day.

      2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?

Saturday night disaster struck: Micky opened the back door (I had closed but not locked it, when I went out to clean the kennel) and went outside, taking another 9 cats with him. One one-eyed male came back when I called him. The others enjoyed their freedom. So I talked to them explaining the dangers of the road and of some people and asking them to come back indoors. Sunday one girl came back to the kennel, Monday another 2. Tuesday morning Micky came in by the cat door in the bedroom window and yesterday night Pummel came when I went into the kennel for cleaning. The remaining 4 are still at loose and I am afraid they have no intention of coming back. One of them has disappeared since Sunday. The other 3 are near the house but won’t come close.

      3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week?

That I managed to convince at least 6 of my runaways to come back inside.

      4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week?

The kitten-hooligans are worse than a tornado and just won’t listen.

      1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?
Yes many times, guided angelic meditations around 20 minutes each.
      2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?

Yes, my friend is getting a cat and has 2 dogs at home so I am communicating with all 3 to answer questions and prepare them.

      3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week?

I am more in the zone than before. Star got out and I didn’t panic and she came right up to me and followed me back in the pasture.

      4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week?

Being patient and listening for the response

      5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the Featured Animal in the Discussion with that animal if you have not already done so.

Hello Everyone – I’m Gracie. Here are my responses:

      1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?

I did meditate each day, for a total of about 90 minutes, including creative visualization. My favorite is a candle meditation – very powerful in a brief time span.

      2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?

Yes I’ve been “speaking” with the peacocks in my yard. One in particular we call “Mikey”, who comes to my back door clucking for food. If you aren’t forthcoming, he’ll give the security door a “peck” quite politely. He is such good company and is responding to transmissions mentally and verbally as well as hand gestures. His favorite word: BREAKFAST! LOL Also to dog Ginger, for a client, and Miss Ava for whom I cat sit. Others here and there, but those 3 are my main sweeties.

      3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week?

I like that Mikey has taken on such depth for me. He’s a complete “human” to me and I can feel his heartbeat and his movements (meaning how he feels when he walks).

      4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week?

I posted this as a question for the Q&A on Saturday: I’d like Ava to stay closer to her home and be more accessible. I’ll be spending at least 3 days with her Sat/Sun/Mon and maybe Tues. and one conversation I want to have with her is: WHERE DO YOU GO and WHY? I think she goes to the neighbor’s house.

      5. Did you communicate with the Featured Animal for this month? Did you play of the one of the games on the new games handout this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not? Please post your results communicating with the featured animal in the Discussion of that animal if you have not already done so.

Featured Animal: no. I’m not in the habit yet of checking in on that. :(( Next week for sure!

Games: I made up my own game of “looking/listening” to determine what my clients want when they call BEFORE I actually ask. Usually I get it. And I shopped for a friend who is housebound, and “foresaw” what he would select from the two or three choices of grocery items I’d send him, as in: which cereal do you prefer. THAT was fun!

      1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you? Only a few times. I did my monthly call with my peeps last night and led them in the basic Reiki meditation. I have tried several times to meditate other than that but with limited results.

I have been dealing with a health challenge for the past few weeks. I was prescribed an eye drop for glaucoma and was warned that it might lower my heart rate and make me tired. Boy was that an understatement. I have been basically non-functional. I discontinued the drop a week ago and the side effects have diminished a little but not cleared. I have been doing what absolutely has to be done and nothing else.

      2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not? No – see comment above about health challenge.

      3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week? Nothing to celebrate.

      4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week? My challenge is being so fuzzy headed I cannot do anything.

      5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the Featured Animal in the Discussion with that animal if you have not already done so. No – see comments above.

      6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not? No – see comments above.

      1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?

Yes, I did. I did two morning meditation, Val’s Grounding meditation and I also did a short breathing and centering meditation a few times.

      2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?

Yes, I connected with a little black and white wild bird who has been coming to my yard daily the past few months. I affectionately call him “Mr. B & W”. He always comes very close to me and this week he didn’t seem like his usual self. When I asked him about that, he showed me his leg and there was something wrong. There was an injury and there was also something wrapped around it which was some sort of fluffy material. He couldn’t put his foot all the way down and it wasn’t safe for me to try and remove it. I offered to get him help and he told me he was afraid and flew off. Each day he returned and I sat with him using several different healing techniques I learned from Val. Each day he seems a little bit better and can now gently stand on both legs for short periods of time. He won’t accept help but told me he finds peace in just being beside me and he is also using the bird bath since the cool water gives some relief.

      3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week?

I would like to celebrate that I have wonderful healing techniques I learned from Val. I do understand that the healing can come though in many ways even if it isn’t always in the way I hope for. It gives me peace that although everything can’t be completely healed, having these techniques allow me to do something as opposed to feeling helpless.

      4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week?

The challenge I had this week was that I wanted to help the little injured bird ( as mentioned in question 2) but had to respect his decisions to not intervene which was really difficult.

      5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the featured animal in the Discussion of that animal if you have not already done so.

Yes, and I posted my results.

      6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?

Yes, I did. I played a game with my cat, Tiki. This week he keeps hiding in the yard in a new spot every day. Before I go outside, I guess where he is by “becoming the animal” and seeing the world (and yard) through his eyes. I then go see where he is and when I look in the very spot I saw through his eyes….there he is.

I did almost everyday for 10-20 minutes.
      2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?

      3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week?
That I’m practicing love and compassion toward myself, to the animals it’s usually easier.
      4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week?
What challenges me this week that I felt I don’t want and not available to practice communication, I needed more “me” time

I didn’t, I hope to do that later that day.
      6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?
      No.
      Maybe I need more games options… I don’t know…

      1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you? Yes, I did for a bit. I tried to center. I don’t think I got centered though. I also tried working with my chakras, but I wasn’t totally sure on all the locations and colors.

      2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not? Yes, with my cats. They understood, or at least some. I also did with my friend’s two cats who I am taking care of while my friend is out of town. One of his cats, the girl kitty, does not spend much time around me when I’m there taking care of them and hanging out with his other cat, the boy kitty. Some days I don’t even see her. I have tried talking to her though. I don’t know if she understands or not. My friend’s other cat, the boy kitty, I think has understood me and I think has also told me things. I also connected with a cat who an elementary school teacher I had I think found and then took to the Humane Society. I told the kitty I was sorry she was there (in the enclosure at Petco is where she is). I tried to send her good energy of various kinds and tried to send energy for the right people to come and adopt the cat. “Tabitha” came to me a few seconds ago. Maybe Tabitha is her name.

      3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week? Nothing new.

      4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week? Nothing new.

      5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the Featured Animal in the Discussion with that animal if you have not already done so. Not this week. I will over the weekend.

      6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not? Not yet. I will over the weekend.

      MEDITATIONS: TYPES, TIMES

–Kornfield-Brach Mindfulness Days 4-9 with applications during the days and nights when I remember.

–Only two or three of Val’s chakra meditation, and once I fell asleep after the fourth chakra.

INTENTION TO COMMUNICATE WITH AN ANIMAL

Tried daily because have a specific topic to discuss with each house cat but didn’t seem to get responses. Lily-Grace simply prefers the bathroom floor to the litter boxes; I tell her I can’t get down anymore to clean as should be done, but she’s a kitty without pity.

      CELEBRATE Feeling Lily-Grace’s unease?

      CHALLENGES, QUESTIONS

Lily-Grace seems unhappy. When I open the front door to get the mail, she has begun to come close to it as if she might dash outside. Other cats sometimes smack her, so she occasionally hisses back. Because they suspect I’m upset about the bathroom floor or because they are and know who’s making the messes?

FAT COMMUNICATION Posted with Lori R’s Blue.

      INTUITIVE GAMES

–7/10 correct odd/even guesses with die.

–Checking the clock when I awaken at night, I can be accurate within 15 minutes or off by four hours. However, I generally get to the kitchen within a minute before the timer goes off for a frozen dinner.

      1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?

yes – every day although not as long as I would have liked on two days because of work and time. I did my Buddhist chanting and then I did one long silent connecting with my soul energy meditation.

      2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?

Yes – I try unsuccessfully possibly to connect with my dog but its very difficult to tell if I am managing to connect. I think I did connect during the silent energy meditation. I told her about some visitors to our house, and that it would be most helpful if she could be calm while they were there. Apart from the noisy initial greeting – (I may have connected with her too late to get that part) – my husband reported back that she had been very good.

      3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week?I felt a much clearer sense of my energy not being separate from anything else.

      4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week? I still need to practice more.

      5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the Featured Animal in the Discussion with that animal if you have not already done so.
Not yet. I am planning to tackle that one tomorrow.

      6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?
No. I get disappointed so I am reluctant to try again – but I will!

      1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?
Breath and movement meditation in nature every day.
      2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?
Everyday with my beloveds and wild birds and spiders and such. Communion happened.
      3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week?
Busier season coming to a close and this frees up my body mind for more of my own souls flow…always priority no matter what external circumstances, however, during busier times my priority switches from proactive soul goals to basic regulation of my nervous system, and as my work sched decreases, I can maintain regulation of nervous system priority while also engaging more in practices and techniques.
      4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week?. None
