–> It’s Time to Practice with the Accountability Game!
Ready to earn special bonus private coaching time with Val? Here’s how:
One of the most important things to help you stay on track with your goals is to be accountable on a regular basis. To help you with that, once a week please answer these simple questions listed below.
This practice is designed to help you become more consciously aware of your journey, to celebrate your successes and share any perceived “failures” so they can be acknowledged, healed and cleared. Mistakes are a necessary part of the journey. There are no right answers here and this is not a test. Just do your best. Doing this exercise will help you improve your skills and be more consciously aware at all times. Remember this is a journey, not a destination. The idea is for you to stay conscious and make progress.
NOTE: All students are invited to play, but only Gold and Platinum Club Members are eligible to earn the Accountability private Coaching Session Awards (value $125).
Here’s how Gold and Platinum Members earn your sessions:
1) Stay Accountable. Each week there will be a new Accountability Discussion for the time period of Saturday through Friday to which you can post any day of the week. You are invited to report on you efforts, progress and frustrations during the week since your last post. You don’t have to have perfect results. It is more important that you are trying, taking action and sharing what’s happening for you.
2) When you’ve completed 12 consecutive weeks of accountability posts you will receive an email from the Coaching Club Moderator with the Subject “Congratulations – you’ve earned a coaching session with Val.” This email will be sent after the new week’s Accountability Discussion has been posted to the Forum. If you miss a week, just start your count over the next week.
3) In the Congratulations email, you’ll receive instructions on how to schedule. Use your time for animal communication mentoring, healing, and/or Val’s help working with your own animal(s).
4) Post each week during the Saturday to Friday timeframe. All posts are automatically time stamped and should align with the appropriate week to apply toward earning a free session with Val. Note: You can’t wait for 3 months then do 12 week’s worth of reporting in 1 week! Having the practice over time will strengthen your Animal Communication intuitive muscles.
MEMBER POSTING INSTRUCTIONS: Just copy these 6 questions into your comment below and answer them. Then click Post.
1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?
2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?
3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week?
4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week?
5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the Featured Animal in the Discussion with that animal if you have not already done so.
6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?
Tip: To copy the questions, highlight the text and type ctrl-C (hold down the ctrl key and type a C) then place the cursor in the Reply box and use ctrl-V to paste.
Remember the weekly posting period runs from Saturday through noon 12:00pm Central (Texas) United States Friday which is the same as 5pm in system time shown at the top of your posts (it is the Universal Time (Greenwich, UK)). You can check your own time using the Time Zone converter at:
https://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/converter-classic.html
Note: Silver members can Upgrade to Gold or Platinum membership at any time by emailing Support@ValHeart.com and letting us know. Put Upgrade in the subject line.
While only posts answering the above questions count as Accountability Posts, you are welcome to comment on anyone else’s posts. We are here to learn from and inspire each other too! Provide feedback to others and we will learn together.
Much love, Barb & Val

1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?
I continue my daily meditations on light and sound but they have been short 10-15 minute sessions during the day instead of 1-2 hour sessions this week.
2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?
Yes: Zuzu: asked my healing guides to help irradicate the worms in her belly.(also encouraged her person to take Zuzu to the vet) Brought her to the healing vault as well where she received deep treatments of indigo, orange and yellow. Harry: talked to him about what he would like from his dog walker and he said to put her stresses and worries and just enjoy him. Bobo: cleared first and 3rd chakra for stress and anxiety Kuma: helped him get ready for surgery Willi is in spirit and I found him enjoying the astral world.
3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week? I am receiving referrals and working with many different animals4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week?

1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?
Yes, I went back to my guided meditations during
lunch break, about 10 min each day.2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?
I explained to little 4 month old Leo that he gets daily injections to stop his nose from running and getting blocked and to get rid of his coughing and sneezing. He behaved very well at the vet’s office.
3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week?
Having an extremely challenging time right now, but somehow I manage to keep going and to do all that is necessary.
4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week?
Strolch’s diabetis diagnosis is a major challenge. It seems the vet miscalculated the dosage of insulin and overdosed him, resulting in an extremely rough night for Strolch and myself on Tuesday. After Strolch got his insulin shot, I fed him, but he was not happy to eat and took only a few bites. Shortly after he started with diarrhoea and vomiting. About an hour later he could not walk any more and then his whole body went limp. I took him with me in my bedroom to monitor him. By 3 am he had a big seizure. Then he slept until I had to get ready for work. When I got up, he got out of his bed as well, walking steady and screaming for food. Over the last 2 days I have spent all night learning about feline diabetes.
5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the Featured Animal in the Discussion with that animal if you have not already done so.
No time
6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?
Using my intuition in daily life.

1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?
Yes, I did meditate this week. I did 2 of Val’s grounding meditations and also a gratitude meditation.
2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?
Yes, I did. I connected with a dog that was suffering with an ear problem and unable to get comfortable. She explained what it felt like. I asked if I could try a healing technique which might help her feel better.
She accepted and I used healing techniques learned iin the Platinum classes. Afterwards she was much calmer, felt better and was able to rest peacefully.3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week?
This week I celebrate that I did a lot of decluttering in my house and also with my mind this week.
4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week?
The challenge I had this week was that I was putting too much pressure on myself to do more studying and practicing and then I got overwhelmed.
5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results.
No, I did not have a chance to do so yet.
6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?
Yes, I did. I used animal oracle cards. I thought of an animal then picked a card. I did this three times and picked the correct animal twice.

Hello Everyone:
~
1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?
Yes.
I meditate each day as a habit, but this week I used the additional meditations from the 2 Chakra Classes and the Meditations that are imbedded in the Basic Course here. I Meditated A LOT!
~
2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?
~
I did.
I spent 3 days with Ava, the cat I sit for, and we had 100% agreement on her arriving home before 5 PM every day, and in fact one time she came home at 230 pm, shortly after I put out a “reminder” message for her that I’d be looking very forward to seeing her around 5 PM or before if she’s like. Apparently, she “liked” because she came home a few minutes later. LOL
~
I spent considerable time with my horse, Hattie, in “distant” communication, and an incredibly powerful in-person session that happened yesterday. I went there with full intention of simply exchanging conversation. But once I settled in, once I’d come to her being present FOR HER and WITH HER, the session turned completely into energy work and her body “speaking” to me. Interestingly, first area I was drawn to was the HEART! I spent considerable time using REIKI and Touch at her heart area. I could write an entire book about this session, but I’ll leave it here in this short format by saying that Hattie is much more deeply abused than I had EVER imagined, and I write fiction and have a REALLY GOOD imagination, so we have work to do ahead, and I hope some of these wonderful colleagues here will want to join in at some point.
~
I have an ongoing task of helping a client’s dog, Ginger, as she prepares to step behind the veil. I knew she wanted desperately to be at an at-home wedding scheduled for September 21 – last Saturday – and she was there! She totally absorbed all the love and goodness, and then as anticipated, has begun to grow thinner and less active. At this point, the family is spending as much time in hugs and kisses and petting and comforting as possible. They are hoping she drifts into a Peaceful Passing.
~
3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week?
~
I’d say there’s celebration for having spent hours, literally, using many of Val’s Meditations she dispenses so generously. I’d accustomed to self-generating meditations and it’s a lovely respite just to soak in someone else’s work.
~
I’d say the unexpected turn to physical “reading” and “healing” with my horse, Hattie, is a cause for celebration as apparently healing the heart soreness is essential for other healing.
~
4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week?
~
There’s nothing that is looming large, but there is a tickle of a thought in the back of my mind about the Quail and Chickens alongside Hattie’s stall that are kept by Hattie’s Groom. He raises them for food, apparently, because there is an ongoing “conveyor belt” of incoming new chickens and then others that go “missing”. I have asked “what happened to the big white fluffy chicken” or “what happened to the rooster with the white tail” and after a few people kinda stumbled around and popped out with odd and differing answers, I realized that beyond the usual murky “truth” you get from horse people there was the ACTUAL truth which is: winner winner chicken dinner. And I am a bit off center about that but it’s a minor thought compared to other significant concerns, and I grew up in the country and have zero problems with hunting, fishing and proper use of animals for food consumption AS LONG AS IT IS “kosher”, which means sacred. So it’s something for me to look at in the coming weeks. I think my discomfort is more about being lied to than anything else, and also feeling like I mustn’t get attached to the little critters which doesn’t feel right to me somehow.

5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the Featured Animal in the Discussion with that animal if you have not already done so.
~~
I spoke with Blue over the last couple of weeks, and posted in his “spot”. I did check in with him and one of the things that I was astonished about was his INTENSE sense of smell. I mean, the way odors come to him and are registered in his body and brain – it is indescribable. So pungent, overpowering, compelling. It’s like a call to action. So now I understand a bit more about how irresistible some food products are and how dogs will go to any lengths to steal a steak from the grill. LOL I have to say that I feel Blue is ESPECIALLY KEEN in terms of the sense of smell. I get the sense that not all dogs are at his level of awareness with odors.

6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?
~
I do play what you could call “Intuitive Games” but they are usually in the realm of reading next steps in things like a likely outcome of a public event, a political poll or action, and I do a lot of “looking ahead” for myself, of course. Example: the gentleman who owns Ava (see above), Wayne, broke his leg a month or so ago. I knew he was going to fall again. And he did – he fell in the bathroom on Sunday evening while visiting friends. Fortunately, he landed on his backside not his broken leg! I wouldn’t call that type of reading a “game” of course, but in terms of sharpening skills, yes, I’d count it.

I did meditations everyday for 10-20 minutes, mindfulness and Reiki meditations.
2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?

1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?
Yes, I meditate at least 30 minutes daily. I did the 10 Steps To Our Laboratory one day and the other days did guided meditations on my phone via the Insight Timer app.
2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?
I have not been able to connect with animals this week. Every time I have gone to the horse barn, there has been quite a few people there and too much commotion for me to settle. I need to figure out a way to tune out the distractions. I have had special moments alone with my pony in her stall and she is getting softer and sweeter.
3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week?
Just the realization that my pony is getting in a groove with me. When I arrive at the barn, I go into her stall and just sit with her. She is cranky if I try to pet her right away so I just sit quietly. I talk to her all the time and she seems to like that. I need to find a short meditation to do there.
4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week?
How to get into a meditative state when at a place with people and commotion. I can’t seem yet to tune it all out. I would love for Val to share a short meditation that I can download to my phone. If one exists, please let me know.
5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the Featured Animal in the Discussion with that animal if you have not already done so.
Yes, I tried but wasn’t successful.
6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?
Yes, I play with playing cards daily. Most days I am about 50/50, sometimes 60/40. Today was a bad day. About 30/70.

1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?
Just a few minutes each day this week – not enough to keep my spirits up and manage my life. It was a very busy week at work and family birthdays. I want to catch up this weekend.2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?
Not in a focused way. I tried a few times with my dog, but just got my own brain buzzing away!3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week?
I got some specific questions right when connecting with the FAT last week so that was great. I’m building my confidence to ask more and more.4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week?
I realise t hat I tend to either try to hard or not hard enough so my goal now is to strike the happy medium. I’m glad that I’m getting better at recognising it.
5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the Featured Animal in the Discussion with that animal if you have not already done so.
Not again, but I would like to because it seems rude not to, and I don’t want to be that sort of person. So the goal is to do this tomorrow.
6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?
Yes – I tried guessing the alarm clock time whenever I woke in the night (I wake up a lot) – I didn’t get it right ever but I realised that I was using my buzzy rain too much and not dropping down into my body. Same mistake I make when communicating, so that’s useful. -

1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?
everyday for about 10-15min, 2 days I did 20min of transcendental meditation, every time I talk to an animal I do one of Val’s guided meditations prior to commumication
2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?
I spoke with Milo, as posted on Facebook page, with Daisy, a dog who belonged to a breeder in Estes Park who is retiring her and bringing her to her new home with my friend Patty in Breckenridge; we talked about her new home, new name, new life. Also, with Luna a massage client’s dog who I have been working with to quell anxiety and barking inappropriately.
3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week?
I am on week 2 of accountability.
4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week?
Challenges with my KoKo and Izzi fighting and peeing more on my carpets, dealing with my serious anger around it. I am yelling way too much and it is bothering me and the cats. I feel I understand each of their perspectives and think ok this is the turning point, we worked it through and then there will be no peeing for several days and then boom – wet rugs. aargh
5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the Featured Animal in the Discussion with that animal if you have not already done so.
I tried once but was mentally blocked. I will make an attempt this week-end when I am calmer and have no massage clients.
6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?
I play a lot with ‘on the fly’ communications with animals I see while out of the house. I had a cute encounter with a squirrel wanting to cross the street; I stopped and told him it is safe for you to cross. I send a message to him that he could trust me. He stood up on his hind legs, looking at me, assessing my intentions and said ok I believe you and away he crossed. It was so cute.Pam, Pammie, Pammie Jean, Pamela.... you can call me any of these names.

MEDITATION: TYPES, TIMES
Many times a day and night because I’ve been panicked about difficulty walking–just a side-to-side shuffle using a collapsible cane bought for a tour in Israel in 2014–and have been housebound. Have been sometimes layering the 9/21 lab exercise with magical goo, healing box, chakra clearing, and types of breathing and sometimes trying techniques singly. Also, listening to the “Into a Mystical Forest” meditation Corinne L. posted on FB. I missed attending four public lectures at Baylor; fortunately, they were posted online.
I’d be more effective if I weren’t distracted by deciding what to wear in the visualization or how the lab/study is set up.
INTENTION TO COMMUNICATE WITH AN ANIMAL Tried with Lily-Grace.
CELEBRATE Nothing in AC.
CHALLENGES, QUESTIONS
The friend who recommended Lily-Grace to me wrote that she’s “heartbroken” I had her euthanized because of being unable to cope with her bathroom habits. (Death seemed a less cruel option than an overcrowded shelter for a ~9-y-o, three-legged cat who prefers minimal feline company.) She probably considers me a murderer (as I’ve considered myself), especially after forwarding excerpts from Val’s 9/23 email about KC choosing the terms and time of her transition.
However, I’ve judged a neighbor as severely. When the man living directly opposite me moved, he took his dog and left his two cats. The couple living next to him took in the cats. Maybe because I was daily feeding a pair of feral cats, Shoshana and her litter mate sister, Tirzah, the neighbor’s cats would wander over. I became fond of the gentlemanly gray cat whom I named Ashley (after GWtW’s Ashley Wilkes) and the shy, small black cat (Buddy) who followed him at a distance when off their property.
I didn’t give them food because the neighbor might be irritated with me. Also, when Ashley came too far up the front walk or lawn, Shoshana would speak to him in human-sounding syllables until he with Buddy crossed the street.
They didn’t visit daily, and eventually I noticed that they had not visited in a long time. Seeing the neighbor outside one day, I told him I missed seeing his cats and asked how they were. His reply was vague; he seemed to deny ever having any cats. Heck, he was the one who told me he took them in so that they wouldn’t starve! I was furious because I’d have adopted them if I’d known they needed a new home. Did he get rid of them when he and his wife remodeled the exterior and interior of their home? They’re in their 70s. He’s outside only when he’s on his riding mower; she’s outside only when she’s sitting on the patio. Maybe their mobility issues prevented them from caring for the cats.
I’m certainly eager to get well so I can thoroughly clean the cats’ bathroom and the rest of the house. Even now, it smells less bad without the daily renewal of Nos. 1 and 2 on the floors.
FAT COMMUNICATION Will post about Lori R’s Blue this weekend.
INTUITION GAMES
8/10 odd-even correct with die. I don’t know whether to make an immediate choice or to wait to see if there’s a tingle in my left or right palm or to get some other signal.
Clock times at night: 15 minutes to 2 hours off.

As posted in Accountability above, I tried to connect with Blue over the weekend. He seemed to be reaching out to me, but I was too tired, distracted, and scared about various issues to focus on him. Finally, Monday morning in pre-dawn, threshold consciousness, I thought I received three messages from him. I was sure I’d remember them without writing them down, but I didn’t. Hence, no post under FAT for week ending 9/27.

1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?
I meditated only with breath awareness and conscious relaxation throughout the day. Was traveling part of the time, so really “worked” to maintain a balanced nervous system.
2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?
I connected with my animals from a distance. I also connected with another family of cats posted on another forum; good feedback from person and heartfelt connection.
3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week?
I celebrate that the week of travel and some both good (and joyful)and “bad” times were met with my intention to communicate with animals (other than mine)even if just for a moment. So I nurtured my path 🙂
4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week? Significant Health challenges were emphasized this week.5. I played psychic games in the hotel o was at… guessing which elevator would open. I was in Vegas for my parents 50th anniversary and I tried to remember in moments to listen actively to intuitive hits regarding family dynamics etc. didn’t use for gambling (but not a bad idea!!) just used to stay on my path and to be wise with family.
