ModeratorWe are glad you are interested in practicing talking together with an animal!
To get started, greet the animal and ask if they have time to talk with you. Remember that animals also lead busy lives even though we may not see all that they do. If they aren’t available, check back later.
Introduce yourself and explain why you are reaching out to them: that you are a member of the Animal Talk Coaching & Mastery Club and learning to better communicate with animals and would appreciate their help. You can ask them any questions you want. Typically they do provide a response. Please share your impressions of their personality, energy, how they feel and any insights they may share with you. By sharing what you get, the animal’s person can provide you with feedback and others can jump in too.
Use the Forum SEARCH field (located at the top of the right column above the picture of the Featured Animal Teacher) to find more discussions involving this animal (or other animals with the same name).
Some conversations have been lively, and we’ve learned some amazing insights, and laughed at jokes. Remember that this is a safe place to practice. This is about practice and learning, it is not about getting it perfect. The animals have much to teach us, to share with us and we with them.

Inactive MemberHello, this is my first attempt at communicating with an animal which is not mine. Here are the images / feelings that I recieved. Sky said he would be happy to help me 🙂
I saw him streached out on a wooden deck in front of a house, near or at the top of the steps leading to the house. Sometimes it was fun to make you step over him but mostly he stayed at the side so you could greet him every time you cam home and to let you know you were coming into HIS home. He could see what was going on, who was coming, who was going. He likes watching what is going on in the garden, the birds, the insects. He likes chasing birds but not hunting. The air is crisp and clear, like early morning before the sun gets too hot.
I felt a very strong character, he knows what he wants and knows how to get it, he is very insistant when he wants attention and he usually gets what he wants. He is really really kind, amazingly kind but not a push over. His strength of character means that he can be kind without being weak…I don’t know if that makes much sense but as he looks at me through the photo, that is what I feel.
