ModeratorWe are glad you are interested in practicing talking together with an animal!
To get started, greet the animal and ask if they have time to talk with you. Remember that animals also lead busy lives even though we may not see all that they do. If they aren’t available, check back later.
Introduce yourself and explain why you are reaching out to them: that you are a member of the Animal Talk Coaching & Mastery Club and learning to better communicate with animals and would appreciate their help. You can ask them any questions you want. Typically they do provide a response. Please share your impressions of their personality, energy, how they feel and any insights they may share with you. By sharing what you get, the animal’s person can provide you with feedback and others can jump in too.
Use the Forum SEARCH field (located at the top of the right column above the picture of the Featured Animal Teacher) to find more discussions involving this animal (or other animals with the same name).
Some conversations have been lively, and we’ve learned some amazing insights, and laughed at jokes. Remember that this is a safe place to practice. This is about practice and learning, it is not about getting it perfect. The animals have much to teach us, to share with us and we with them.

Inactive MemberThanks for sharing Vayu with us. I got that he is a very confident hunter. He’s also very happy to be communicating with the group. I got that he has some concerns about his digestion.

Inactive Memberhi Liz, thank you for your connection. yes, he is a very confident and good hunter and he eats all that he catches. Glad to hear that he liked the group communication. I will look into the digestion, I think his digestion might of been affected with the stress of having a puppy staying with us in the last 10 days. it was an adjustment for both my cats.

Platinum MemberHi Berenice,
I missed the communication part of the call so I caught up today. Here’s what I got:
A hunter, a powerful confident male with a large aura. (I didn’t get blue – I got sunshine yellow – hot and powerful and fast.) He’s a nature cat. He took me to hide under some wet grass where it was dry as he showed me how he sits and watches for movement. He owns the natural world. He likes to go inside – its warm and dry – but his real home is outside. He’s glad you’re there. He likes you.
Do you have cream/beige coloured carpet or a sofa with a cushion? I can kind of see a cream/beige pale colour and he’s sitting on it. Maybe also a dark red chair – but I think I made that up.
Does he have a sister? a smaller, gentler cat (not that he isn’t gentle, but he’s more sharp and focused. He sat and watched me – like he was supervising my learning. Then I heard him sort of sigh saying Humans get discouraged learning. Just get on with it. Thats how I became a good hunter – I got on with it and I learned. I got that he was so exited about life. His eyesight is excellent. Do you know how old he is? I got that he is extremely fit and athletic, but older than you might think. He is starting to feel a slowing down, but he is ignoring it and making his body as fast and agile as it always was. -

Inactive MemberHi Rosemary, thank you for connecting with Vayu! *** he is a very good hunter and powerful and confident, yes, please check how everyone got this in the class.
*** large aura feels right a she is powerful!
*** yes, he is most comfortable outside in nature for sure but also loves his home is totally true.
***interesting that he showed you where he likes to hunt, it is a perfect description, he goes by the road not far from the cottage and there is tall grass and this is where he catches a lot of mice.
*** yes, he loves me and i love him.
***yes, he sit on a sofa that I have to cover with a white heavy quilt blanket to protect the red sofa since i am renting this furnished cottage and have to protect the furniture and I have beigy pattern cushions on it and a red cushion as well. I have a chair as well that his cover with a beige blanket and big pale beige cushion to protect this leather wine color chair (yes dark red color).
***my other cat is Sufi, his brother, and he is not as agile as Vayu and he hunts totally differently and not as intense and focus as Vayu as well. Sufi is a teacher and so I am not surprised that he was supervising this conversation.
***like his advice about just get on with it!
***good eyesight yes, he is 8 years old going on 9 this summer.
***interesting to hear that he feels his body getting older and that he still wants to keep fast and agile. he is very fit, yes.
*** thank you so very much, hope this is helping you and validate what you got!

Gold MemberHi Berenice
Thank you for offering Vayu as the March FAT. I did try and connect with Vayu and got some impressions but I’m not sure if it was my imagination.
When I asked what do you like to do I got:
“I love jumping, getting up high and jumping down. I love to sit on top of a brown fence and look down at things. I like to jump down and pounce on lizards. I take them in to Berenice who is not happy but I am providing her with food and contributing to the household.” Also “I help in the kitchen. I like to jump up and bat things off the kitchen surfaces onto the floor. Berenice gets very excited. I like that.” Vayu said ” I also like to hit things with my paw for example a small piece of paper rolled into a ball. Berenice does this for me. I am very energetic.”I asked what do you like to eat and I got “lizards as well as chunks of beef i gravy in a red plastic bowl.”
I asked what do you think of Sufi and I got “We tolerate each other. We are both very independent. I do my own thing and Sufi does hers.”
When I asked about Moka I got “I loved Moka . She was very sweet. I was very sad when she departed. I got on with her better than Sufi.”
I asked if Vayu had a garden and I got “Yes I like to sit in the garden near a plant pot. I like to jump about, I’m always jumping.”
When asked about sleeping at night I got “I sleep on the bed of course with Berenice and Sufi. We all like to snuggle in together.”
I asked about toys and I got “A column with things on it that I like to bat at, a small metal ball that makes a noise and a blue fabric mouse.”
I wasn’t sure of Vayu’s gender but I sensed female. Vayu came across as a calm, confident, independent cat who was sure of her purpose – she is a provider and provides security to the family.
Any feedback would be appreciated.
All best wishes. Angela -

Inactive MemberHi Angela, here are some feedback to help you understand what you got from Vayu. about the jumping: …..there is a lot of jumping on and off the table, the counter top, the sofa, the high bed and there is also a ladder to go up in the loft where he has a great view and I have a high bookcase with a bed on top which my cats love to go to as well. …..the only brown fence I can think of is the one we pass along my friend’s driveway on our daily walk and he likes to walk on it sometimes for fun. ……He likes to pounce on mice (we don’t have lizards) and bring them to the house, he eats them on the balcony or on the grass, he would love to bring them inside but of course I don’t allow. …….i think you pick up on the fact that he wants to contribute with food because I sometimes think or mention to my cats that I spent a lot of money feeding them and it is a consideration since I want to feed them well and it gets expensive! also don’t like seeing food left in their plates. ……bating things off the counter is not really his thing, it is rare that he does that, nor the little roll of paper. both cats like to run at each other, he likes to hunt for real! …..hummm not the food I eat…… Vayu and Sufi are brother and they love each other very much….. yes, they loved my dog Moka! …..he used to have access to my big beautiful garden when I was living in Iowa, they were fenced in, no plant pot, here he has access to the outdoor freely, no garden, tall grass, short grass, road, forest. …..we used to sleep all 3 of us most of the time, especially in my house in Iowa and when i had a roommate here 1 year ago for 6 months. at the moment Sufi is consistently sleeping with me but Vayu comes and goes, lately he likes to sleep on the back of the sofa, I think he feels he is guarding the house since i live by myself. …..nothing on toys. …. he is male but feels female to me as well because he is loving sweet energy. ….. Vayu is confident of his purpose and an independent hunter and he is the protector for Sufi and I, as I said above I feel he wants to guard the place while Sufi is guarding me at night. ….Hope this helps you, I will suggest you read all of the other student’s readings as I commented a lot and will give you more insight on what you got! thank you

Gold MemberThank you for your feedback Berenice. Vayu is a wonderful cat. I will read the other comments now – I don’t do this beforehand so that they don’t influence me. All best wishes to you. Angela

Platinum MemberHi Berenice,
I’m getting that Vayu is missing the conversations. I tuned in to him (or I think I did) and he was so excited. He told me that life was goig well – hunting in the sunshine. I asked him how he learned to be such a good hunter and he showed me: waiting and watching very carefully is key. Being is essential – just being – being present. Not being something in particular. Just BE BE BE. He was so happy to be tuned into. I asked about you and I think he said something about you being a bit stressed at the moment – but it felt like I was losing the connection there.

Barb Grout
Inactive MemberHello Vayu,
It’s Barb. I know you have been wanting to connect with me. Are you free?
Vayu: Yes.
Barb: You have a nessage for me?
Vayu: Yes. You got it already: set your intention and let your guides help you. You get us instantly so pay attention. You already know what we are thinking and feeling.
Barb: Thank you so much. I really appreciate your wanting to help me. I have so many animals to connect with right now.
Vayu: Stay with us…you wander. Keep your attention on the conversation.
Barb: Yes. I do loose track. I have some reminders of my guides. Right next to me I have my unicorn and also a small rose bunny.
Vayu: Use Tiki as well.
Barb: Ok. I will. I promise in a few days to let you know how it all goes.
Vayu: Keep your promise.
Barb: I’ll set a reminder on my phone. By the way, how are you?
Vayu: I miss all of you “talking” with me. I shared some important information with all of you.
Barb: Yes you did and it will help us all to grow. Thank You again. I’ll speak with you this coming weekend. -

Inactive MemberHi Barb, thank you for taking the time to share your communication with Vayu. I did not realized how wise he is with all his advices to the class, I know he is special to me and I know how much he has been there for me over the years with his loving heart And loving embrace but I never ask for his advice since I feel my cats and know I am in communication with them all the time by the way they respond to what I am telling them or asking of them but cannot hear them back very well. It is interesting to hear that they love commutating with the group as we heard with Darwin as well this week, it makes sense since we talk to our animals and rarely do they have the opportunity to chat with other humans. I am very happy that he is serving you and you are taking the time to keep talking with him. Thank you.

Inactive MemberHi Berenice,
Thank you for sharing Vayu with us, I am new here and I tried so hard to connect with Vayu, I asked Vayu what was your favorite? Then I suddenly smelled the salty dry foods, so maybe he showed me his favorite foods? And he is very friendly and curious about everything, he loves wondering everywhere. That’s what I got for now. I think he is a good teacher.
Thanks

Inactive MemberThanks Betenice and Vayu 🙏🏻💖
A very curious little man, with a great “femalish” side. There’s so much you humans can learn from us cats, we are very alert and in that presence we are also very patient and observing. It’s our nature to be all that at once. Often you humans are running ahead of yourself not noticing little things to appreciate when you just fly by. You can’t catch time so relax and have some fun on your journey .
