feedback to masterclass

Hi Nicole, I appreciate your sharing this with me. Please do always be honest. And in return, honestly I’m astonished and dismayed hearing what happened for you. Part of the beauty of these types of classes is we get to discuss things in the group, and yes, sometimes folks do go on a bit longer than is perhaps necessary. But I’ve reviewed the comments and discussion and thought they were all relevant and connected to our topics, as students explored this for themselves. That is how we learn, after all. ​​

The second question became a deep dive as I modeled how to work with inner parts, past lives and clear fears. From that experience my intention is that everyone is now able to do this for yourself, and for animals when the need arises.

After that we wound up with not enough time left to dive into other more complicated questions and as we were beginning to go overtime, I closed the class.

It feels like something triggered you very deeply. Do you know what it was specifically?
I know for myself times when I felt impatient with other student comments, feeling they were irrelevant, and stewed inwardly. When I tuned out I also missed important bits that might have served me though…

Also, I wasn’t clear if you wanted to talk about boundaries or if you didn’t want to talk about it.

Let’s discuss this so we can clear things up.

You’ll love our next Masterclass. We’ll be going deep into the rest of the questions that were posted for this last class, and doing experiential group exercises with rats, the viper, rooster and his chickens, and maybe more. It’s going to be great fun and very powerful. I’ll do my best to limit the time for extraneous discussions. <3

Hello Val and Nicole,
Thank you Val for your thoughtful response to Nicole because it opens up a new level of trust that we can voice our feelings safely in this group. Thank you Nicole for your sensitivity and intuition.

I have a slight feeling and so am trying to bring to light what Nicole may have experienced.

After the diving into the inner parts, I know being the one diving and feeling the profound healing, it was real difficult to completely shift to another topic which is what happened. It changed the sacred moment of what had just occurred and the learning we experienced and the amazingly quick way you connected the pieces and fragments to find the root of what was going on. These are skills that can be used with the animals we work with.

I find that one of the most important things you teach, as we experience the many sessions you do with animals and problems that are brought to our group, is how to find that important thread that leads to the root. Bingo!

I know all topics are important to each person bringing them up and you really don’t know where the discussion is going to lead and what others are going to say but shifting the discussion that radically did break the magic of the moment.

I’m so grateful we can talk about this and feel safe with each other. I hear what you’re saying, and yes, there was a “break” energetically at the end as we shifted things to begin wrapping up.

On my end, as the class facilitator/teacher, I am holding space for and feeling everyone’s energy, needs, shifts… We had close to 40 people on the call. It can feel a bit overwhelming at times with many energetic pushes and pulls… kind of like herding cats. haha

So I apologize that it felt like the magic was broken when we shifted gears. <3

What might help is for you to compartmentalize a bit. So hold the magic, the preciousness of the shift, your insights and experiences sacredly, lovingly, compassionately, yet at the same time, put it on the "shelf" or "back burner" to process more later and stay fully present with what's next as the class continues on. Notice impressions, what gets triggered, feelings and thoughts, but hold them very lightly.

This is an important life skill to have, because we often don't get as much time to process things as we'd like in the moment.
