One of the most important things to stay on track with your animal communication goals is to be accountable to your journey on a regular basis. To help you with that, once a week please answer these simple questions listed below. Answer them 12 weeks in a row and you’ll have earned your Student Breakthrough Laser Coaching with Val (regularly $125). (game rules below)
This practice is designed to help you become more consciously aware of your journey, to celebrate your successes and share any perceived “failures” so they can be acknowledged, healed and cleared.
Do your best. You cannot copy and paste each week’s answers. They must be unique each week. If we feel you are trying to hack the system and not putting any real effort into this, then you will be asked to try again and if you miss the weekly deadline, you will have to start over with your weekly count.
Remember this is a journey, not a destination. The idea is for you to stay conscious and make progress every week.
NOTE: All students are invited to play, but only Gold and Platinum Club Members are eligible to earn the Accountability private Student Breakthrough Laser Coaching Session Awards.
While only posts answering the 6 Posting Questions (below) count as Accountability Posts, you are welcome to comment on anyone else’s posts. We are here to learn from and inspire each other too! Provide feedback to others and we will learn together.
HERE’S HOW GOLD & PLATINUM MEMBERS EARN YOUR COACHING SESSIONS:
1) Stay Accountable. Each week there will be a new Accountability Discussion for the time period of Saturday through Friday to which you can post any day of the week. You are invited to report on your efforts, progress and frustrations during the week since your last post. You don’t have to have perfect results. It is more important that you are trying, taking action and sharing what’s happening.
Post each week between Saturday and Friday noon (12:00 pm). All posts are automatically time stamped based on Greenwich Mean (GMT) Time so the weekly system time stamp deadline is Friday 5:00 pm GMT. We suggest you don’t wait till the last minute.
Note: The system uses Greenwich Mean Time to keep us harmonized across time zones around the world in all seasons. Remember you can post any day of the week as long as it’s within the designated week. You can check your local time against Greenwich Mean Time using: https://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/converter-classic.html
2) When you’ve completed 12 consecutive weeks of accountability posts you will receive an email from the Coaching Club Moderator with the Subject “Congratulations – you’ve earned a coaching session with Val.” This email will be sent after the new week’s Accountability Discussion has been posted to the Forum. If you miss a week, just start your count over the next week.
3) In the Congratulations email, you’ll receive instructions on how to schedule your Breakthrough Laser Coaching with Val. You can use your time for animal communication coaching, mentoring, healing, and/or Val’s help working with your own animal(s).
4) Beware: You cannot do 12 week’s worth of reporting in 1 week! Having the practice over time will strengthen your Animal Communication intuitive muscles.
POSTING INSTRUCTIONS
Copy these 6 questions into your comment post below and answer them. Then click the SUBMIT button at the bottom.
TIP: To copy the questions, highlight the text and on a PC use ctrl-C (hold down the ctrl key and type a C) OR on a Mac use ⌘Command-C (hold down the ⌘Command key and type a C) then place the cursor in the Reply box and use ctrl-V (OR ⌘Command-V) to paste. We recommend you write them somewhere else, like in word, google docs, or pages, and then copy and paste them into the appropriate Forum discussion thread when you’re done. That way if something glitches with your post, you won’t have to start over from scratch.
1. Meditate! Meditating is important to your progress because it helps you center, making it easier to connect and communicate with animals as well as release the mind chatter and increase your overall calm.
Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?
2. Practice! You are required to practice communicating with at least one animal each week (if you don’t remember the animal’s name, indicate its species). Practicing every week will strengthen and grow your communication skills. It is often easier to communicate with animals other than those in our own family, so start outside your family animals. Visit our Animal Teachers page to find a willing partner and post what you get so their person can give you feedback.
What is the name of the animal with whom you communicated this week? What did you talk about? What did you assist with or learn from the experience?
3. Celebrate! We want to celebrate you and your progress, whether you experienced outstanding success or not. A positive mindset is important so even if you had a rough week or don’t feel like you made much progress, there is always something to appreciate and be grateful for.

Missed a couple of days. Too much going on here, very stressful. Not sleeping. I have been using Val’s Meditations I like the love one the best.
2. What is the name (or species) of the animal with whom you communicated this week? What did you talk about? What did you assist with or learn from the experience?
Didn’t communicate with an animal. Not able to do it right now.
3. Name one thing you want to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week.
I love what this class experience has done for me. My environment has been difficult at best and I am seeing some big changes due to what I have been learning. We have some big stresses right now and it has derailed me but I will get it together. Val is a miracle worker and I wish I could hire her to help me further what she has just barely tapped into. I like being in that place and want it back.
4. What questions do you have about communicating with animals this week? What discoveries did you have?
This week in my real life I have been more assertive but in a loving manner.
5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If not, why not? If so, what happened (give us an overview of the conversation)? If you did, remember to post what you got in the Discussion with that animal if you have not already done so.
Last week I did. I got the response from Klaudia after the end of last weeks accountibility.
Klaudia is amazing and so is Kitty. I felt like I missed the boat though.6. This week did you play one of the Intuition Games? If so, which one? If not, what did you do this week to practice growing your intuition for easier connection and communication with animals?
No.

1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?
Yes, about 10 minutes. Yoga.2. What is the name (or species) of the animal with whom you communicated this week? What did you talk about? What did you assist with or learn from the experience?
Horse named Charlie. I finally feel like I’m starting to develop! My sister-in-law’s horse has opossum disease. She moved him from a stable to my mom’s horse barn. I tried asking several questions, first, where he hurt. I got that it was in his right eye and right back/hip area. His owner confirmed this. I asked her if he had a blue bucket or hay bag, if he was next to a white horse at the stables, and told her that he showed me a bird. She said yes, he gets his treats in a blue bucket. She also said that there were 37 horses at this stable, and there was only one white horse. This white horse was in fact next to Charlie at the stable! Also, she said that the bird must have been a sandhill crane that Charlie hated; it would pester him all the time.3. Name one thing you want to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week.
See the above. I was thrilled to hear that I’m on the right track!!4. What questions do you have about communicating with animals this week? What discoveries did you have?
None at this time; I just need to practice more.5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If not, why not? If so, what happened (give us an overview of the conversation)? If you did, remember to post what you got in the Discussion with that animal if you have not already done so.
I did not. No time.6. This week did you play one of the Intuition Games? If so, which one? If not, what did you do this week to practice growing your intuition for easier connection and communication with animals?
I did not yet, but I intend to. -

Sukey’s Accountability Week 4: 10/16 – 10/22
Meditate!
Before Val came along with her meditations, I meditated infrequently because my mind eventually took over and spun out. So, I gave it up until I discovered Val’s guided meditations which completely changed my experience and I now love, love, love meditating once or more every day, as time permits. As a result of following Val’s meditations, I feel rebalanced, and I find a depth of peace and a rich, calm, and gentle energy permeate my entire Being throughout my day. I equate meditation to a full body massage for one’s energetic and spiritual health and well-being.
Today, I happened to return to one my favorites titled “Love Meditation” dated February 2017 (15:40 minutes) and an extraordinary thing happened … this meditation reminded me of an amazing experience in 2013 that I will share with you here.
One ordinary morning, I left my home on Old Main street in Lyons, one block north of highway 36 & 2nd avenue. I sat at that corner waiting patiently during Lyons’ morning “rush hour” for a break in the traffic so I could turn left onto highway 36 and head east toward Longmont where I worked.
As soon as I pulled out and I was well on my way into the left, east bound lane, the male driver on the other side of highway 36 hit the gas and cut me off as he merged in the left lane in front of me. For a few seconds, like most people, I reacted with disdain but then the most extraordinary thing happened.
I suddenly felt forgiveness pouring out of my heart and straight into him. It was unmistakable and lasted for a few minutes, during which I remember feeling convinced that, in that moment, I could forgive anyone of anything, including murdering my best friend. And, as this beautiful forgiveness streamed out of my body into his, I was at peace and joyful that I was able to energetically give him this gift of forgiveness.
I enjoyed this blissful state for what felt like an eternity until suddenly, I was surprised to see and feel the energetic wave circling back toward me through the right side of his car and into my heart, forgiving me for my wrongs toward others.
This experience was one of the most beautiful, unforgettable, and cherished experiences of my life. I lean on it whenever I need a reminder of how it feels to genuinely forgive someone and when I need to remember how it feels to move and exchange energy.
For me, Val’s Love Meditation resonates with my love of gratitude, forgiveness, and healing.
This week, I followed Val’s Bonus Class 1 Meditation (6:45 minutes) and Bonus Class 2 Meditation (5:06 minutes), and Bonus Class 3 Meditation (14:49 minutes).
Practice!
Practicing Val’s meditations has developed my ability to create a loving, safe, connected energy which I automatically slip into when I am around animals. It comes from a deep place of reverence for animals and nature that is at the core of my Being. Thank you, Val, for your guided meditations. They open my heart and reaffirm the connection from my Soul to Source.
Unfortunately, when I try to initiate conversations while in the presence of various animals that I pet sit (using Who, What, When, How, and Why questions), I get silence. But, I am nearing the end of my Beginning Core Foundations classes and I am focusing on the Art of Conversation audio, which seems to have some helpful tips and instructions (Val’s Beginning Core Foundation Class 4 audio) that I am hoping will help me out of the silence.
Celebrate!
Snap …
I continue to struggle sensing anything while practicing a FAT exercise (like with Kitty) but, over last weekend, while I was taking care of a wise, extremely creative and playful cat named Snap, I saw a photo of him in his home that reminded me of the photos I have been seeing every month in FAT. His human put his photo in a frame that read, “Best Cat Ever.” (See first attached photo.)I realized that perhaps it would be helpful if my body felt Snap in motion as I allowed the video to play out. So, I studied the photo as if it was a FAT photo and then, with Snap’s favorite wand and dangling cloth toy in my hand, I closed my eyes and hit play. My sense of hearing was heightened … listening for Snap’s movements in relation to the purposeful scratching noises I made with the wand and responding with the swiftness of a surprised mouse whose tail felt a sudden tug. I really enjoyed not knowing what was going to happen at any given moment and the freedom from my mind trying to think its way through this video. I’ll keep working the FAT practices.
Questions and/or Discoveries!
Discoveries:
When I am with most animals, I experience a rich, white silence filled with bountiful loving energy. The quiet and full-bodied Presence of Silence fills the space between us as our energies and hearts connect.
On the other hand, when I look at FAT pictures, I see and feel like in a black hole, void of all senses. Never ending Black Nothingness.
Questions:
Has anyone else felt this black hole void when trying to connect with animals remotely or ask animals questions? If so, suggestions?
Snap …
If a cat appears to be easily distracted by inside and outside noises, is this an indication that he is clairaudient?Frankie …
When I met canine Frankie as an adult in 2014, we had an incredible connection. We stared into each other’s brown eyes and I felt a soul-to-soul connection. It felt mutual. During the next seven years, Frankie ran to me every time he saw me, we connected, and we enjoyed each other’s company at a deep level.Fast forward to last month. His human, who hadn’t taken a vacation in years, decided to take a trip even though his hind leg muscles struggled to lift his body. She said she only trusted me to take care of her beloved Frankie so I agreed, although I was concerned about Frankie’s failing health. During those five days of care, I looked in Frankie’s eyes but I didn’t see the Frankie I knew. There was a vacancy or disconnectedness that was so sad to see.
I wonder if what I was seeing was due to age, or deep sadness and loss that his human had was away, or a combination.
Thoughts anyone?
Request:
Are there recorded conversations between Val and various animals? If so, would someone point me in the right direction?
I feel that a recording that would walk students through of the steps Val takes before she initiates a conversation with an animal, followed by a recording of Val asking questions and Val telling us how the animal responded to each question, would be extremely helpful. Additionally, it would be even more helpful to listen to multiple recorded conversations between Val and various individual animals to help students see how Val initiates and navigates each conversation since animals have such unique personalities!
Featured Animal Teacher!
I continue to struggle looking at FAT photos (like Kitty’s) and trying to imagine the animals’ behaviors play out.
Likewise, I struggle getting answers to questions I ask various animals I pet sit.
Help???
Intuition Development Games!
I am working on the What’s In The Box game. I asked my best friend if she would put something from her home in a box for me, which she delivered yesterday. I have read Val’s description of how to play with this and her experience with the glass bird. I meditated (Bonus Class 1 Meditation, 6:45 minutes) and then put the box on my lap and waited for any of my senses to give me impressions. I asked if it was soft or hard; what color; what shape etc. I didn’t get the kind of download that I know and trust one hundred percent, which are so clear and revealing. But, I did get two separate images: one was more fleeting but returned fleetingly a few times, namely it was an image of a 1” wide by 4” long flat, dark piece of wood or something hard. The other felt like my mind was pulling me in the direction of something soft and probably a cat’s stuffed animal toy. I was swayed by my mind and very disappointed when I opened the box and saw a mini flip-photo album but then I saw the flat piece of dark wood and I was delighted. Although I missed the ornate curves in the wood, it was the fleeting image I kept seeing!! (See second attached photo.)
The funny thing is that a few decades ago before I started getting downloads, the impressions I got were very fleeting so I learned to pay attention to them. But, as I got better at catching and trusting fleeting images or knowings, my skills grew into downloads, which became more robust and complex and typically involving two or three of my Clair senses.
So, perhaps since I am working on a new skill, I have to return to looking for basic fleeting images.
This was such a great and fun learning experience, I asked another friend to load up my box so they will tag team filling my box!
Procedure Question:
1) Should my friend think about the item she put in my box simultaneously while I’m trying to receive images? (Note: We didn’t do this; I was solo.)2) Should my friend narrow the scope of possibilities by telling me that the item is from the kitchen, or it is a toy, etc? (Note: We didn’t do this; the item could have been anything.)
I am open to any insights or help with 1) all my questions 2) how to get unstuck practicing FAT and 3) how to ask animals questions successfully so they want to answer.
Yours truly,
SukeyAttachments:

1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you? Yes, Val’s. At least once a day. Not sure exactly how much total time this week.
2. What is the name (or species) of the animal with whom you communicated this week? What did you talk about? What did you assist with or learn from the experience? Serenity and Hawkeye-different things. One Serenity understood based on her action after I told her there was food on my hand and where. I asked Hawkeye something involving food. I don’t know if he understood or if I didn’t understand his response if he responded. Also with two cats in Spirit, one dog in dog body and one dog in Spirit. There might have been another client, too-not sure. I also think I talked with a bee trying to tell the bee how to get to the door to go back out when ready. I think the bee said he/she felt safe here.

1 Did you meditate this week?
Yes. About 30 mins + tapping on and off during the week to calm down
2 What is the name of the animal with whom you communicated this week? What did you talk about? What did you assist with or learn from the experience?
Communicated with Teddy a male Peekapoo
Teddy is frightened of flickering lights as in leaves of trees fluttering across the suns path causing the sun to sparkle between the leaves like lights switched on and off.Communicated with Teddy who showed me a past life where a dog was huddled in the corner of a darkened room. A narrow shaft of bright light. penetrated the room. The dog was dragged out of the room into the bright light then bungled inside the blackness of the van that drove of along a narrow street lined with terrace houses
Showed and explained to Teddy this was a part of nature and nohing to be afrais of will harm him.
Suggested guardian play games and to teach Teddy not to be afraid of these flickering lights Heap lots of praise for whatever he accomplishes. She has taken this on board and will use aglitter ball and other means of helping TeddyPast lives can impact on the animals’ present life. Help and support the

1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?
Yes on days when I wasn’t working. Still struggling to do it when I am working. I have been practising going into my heart in the odd quiet moment throughout the day – it makes a big difference!
2. What is the name of the animal with whom you communicated this week? What did you talk about? What did you assist with or learn from the experience?
I did the masterclass connection with microbiome. I got a sense of huge joy from the microbiome when we connected. Such joy at being acknowledged. I got a whole load of different colours which I’m not sure of the meaning. Green from the microbiome. Black and a yellow square from the (I think) dna thing. I got a splodge of mustard yellow when I asked about the arthritis in my hip… So a very positive experience and I must do it again to understand more.
3. Name one thing you want to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week.
I want to celebrate that I love this whole AC thing!
4. Questions and/or Discoveries!
I think it is helpful for me to write some specific questions down. Then I can have the confidence to just wait and be happy to get or not get something rather than worrying about what to say. Not so different from talking to humans!
4. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If not, why not? If so, what happened (give us an overview of the conversation)? If you did, remember to post what you got in the Discussion with that animal if you have not already done so.
Yes. First, I understood that the pictures Kitty showed me last week were that she was showing me her beauty, her life, her joy. Then I tried again and got more of that joy in herself. A real example of healthy self love and revelling in the joy of being alive and having all her cat abilities. I will post and see if I got specifics right. I also picked up this when asking for advice on AC: Be who you are. Enjoy who you are. Get out of your head. Stay in your heart. Don’t be afraid of meeting yourself.
5. This week did you play one of the Intuition Games? If so, which one? If not, what did you do this week to practice growing your intuition for easier connection and communication with animals?
I’ve been practising getting into my heart. I’ve realised that it helps me to visualise a rose in front of my heart. Not sure why but the fragrance of that takes me to my heart and helps me stay there. -

1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?
No other than the usual group meditations. I had minor surgery on Tuesday and I am in pain today. I did not want to miss a post. Had planned to check in with the FAT this morning but am unable to do so.
2. What is the name (or species) of the animal with whom you communicated this week? What did you talk about? What did you assist with or learn from the experience?
As usual, I have attempted to communicate with Roxy but he is a man of few words so I am unable to talk to him. I have checked in with Princess in spirit a couple of times. I have tried to connect with the hamster next door that I thought was gone. I have heard him a time or so.
3. Name one thing you want to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week. Nothing
4. What questions do you have about communicating with animals this week? What discoveries did you have? None

Accountability week 8 Oct 16-Oct 22, 2021
1. Meditations
Yes, From 2 minutes to 20 minutes every day.2. Communications
Yes, I connected with a dog named Sita. The connection was weak though, because I had bad headaches that day, so I was distracted.
3. Celebrate
I’ve learned that when I am not well physically, it’s harder for me to communicate with animals.
4. Questions
Will animals reincarnate in our (human’s) lifetime? Do they have the freedom/ability to choose what body and species to incarnate?
5. The Featured Animal
Not in this week.
6. The Intuition Games
Not the one from the club. But I do keep a dream journal and record my dreams whenever I remember.

1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?
Missed a couple of days this week. I do VAL’S meditations. I have been focusing on the heart one because I am having a difficult time staying in the heart when I try to connect.
2. What is the name (or species) of the animal with whom you communicated this week? What did you talk about? What did you assist with or learn from the experience?
Chloe, my dog, has been going potty in the house again. I tried to connect with her but was unable to do it until day before yesterday. I’m not sure if I connected really or not. I asked her to paw me or bark at the door when she needs to go out. I thought I heard a very faint I’ll try. She has been doing what I asked for two days now. I don’t know if it is because of me or my granddaughter (she can talk to animals). When I was trying to reach Chloe she said don’t worry grandma I will tell her. I’ betting on my eight year old granddaughter.
Mouse, he was found by son dying in my back yard. He is a beautiful little field mouse who was not dead but bleeding a lot for a little guy. I cleaned the blood off with a syringe and put him in a bucket with a clean soft towel and food knowing he wasn’t going to make it. I hadn’t finished the master class on energy healing and didn’t know what to do for him to at least ease his pain. I still feel real bad that I couldn’t help him.
3. Name one thing you want to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week.
Celebration and frustration. I love talking to animals and was doing ok with that until three months ago and then suddenly I couldn’t connect any more.
4. What questions do you have about communicating with animals this week? What discoveries did you have?
I have tried to connect with the mouse that was found in my yard and died. I get nothing…blank air nothing. Because he is a wild mouse and they steer clear of humans, is that why I can’t make contact with him? Is it because I am already having difficulty making connections? Katie talked to him while he was still alive and he told her our little dog attacked him. He had two puncture wounds. One on his neck and one on his tail. They were very tiny and my dog, who is small, has no teeth.
5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If not, why not? If so, what happened (give us an overview of the conversation)? If you did, remember to post what you got in the Discussion with that animal if you have not already done so.
No
6. This week did you play one of the Intuition Games? If so, which one? If not, what did you do this week to practice growing your intuition for easier connection and communication with animals?
No
