We are glad you are interested in practicing talking together with an animal!

To get started, greet the animal and ask if they have time to talk with you. Remember that animals also lead busy lives even though we may not see all that they do. If they aren’t available, check back later.

Introduce yourself and explain why you are reaching out to them: that you are a member of the Animal Talk Coaching & Mastery Club and learning to better communicate with animals and would appreciate their help. You can ask them any questions you want. Typically they do provide a response. Please share your impressions of their personality, energy, how they feel and any insights they may share with you. By sharing what you get, the animal’s person can provide you with feedback and others can jump in too.

Use the Forum SEARCH field (located at the top of the right column below the picture of the Featured Animal Teacher) to find more discussions involving this animal (or other animals with the same name).

Some conversations have been lively, and we’ve learned some amazing insights, and laughed at jokes. Remember that this is a safe place to practice. This is about practice and learning, it is not about getting it perfect. The animals have much to teach us, to share with us and we with them.Blackie-NitaM

      Hi
I was drawn to Blackie as he seemed to have a story to tell. I got the impression that he was a rescue as a puppy and had a hard start in life – maybe homeless for a while. He has a beautiful nature and has forgiven those that did the wrong thing by him as part of his journey. He is very grateful for the lovely home he has now and is very content, I feel he is an old soul and very loving, accepting of all that has happened to him and is now at peace with the world. He is a wise and a calming influence on others.

      Hi Pam,
Thank you ever so much for connecting with my Blackie….he turned 9 on 1st December and is my best boy (his mother Brownie was my first rescue, passed 15 months ago, I have 7 other rescues). You got his personality perfectly…he is very loving, forgiving and easy going. He was very attached to his mother, and her sudden and unexplained transition has affected him deeply.

He was the only survivor of the litter, born under a stone slab, so we found him when he was 10 days old. We lived in a small apartment in Delhi…..Brownie and another abandoned dog Dennis, Blackie’s dad, refused to come up indoors, so we made a comfortable home for them in the garage (displacing my car!) So I had to leave Blackie too with them, much as I hated it. Since I couldn’t keep an eye all the time, passers by did tease and bother them, specially Blackie since he was so gentle and trusting, so I think that is what he indicated. He and Brownie saw Dennis being deliberately hit by a driver, and he died 12 hours later with them near him. So this man would be one of the people he’s forgiven. After that, it took a couple of years to coax Brownie up, so then I could keep both of them in the house.

We moved from Delhi to a rural homestead in the Himalaya hills of north India, (with the other rescues) over 3 years ago. Blackie is the only one who sleeps with me, and I look after him exclusively, as he’s developed some dislike for the helper for the dogs (I’m 68!) I’m so glad he’s contented, though he shares my grief and maybe senses my regrets over his mother. He is actually my first dog (who passed 43 years ago) reincarnated! I hope this detailed feedback validates all that you got. Thanks again from Blackie and me! (The photograph of him is on his favorite chair near his mother’s photo). Blessings

      Hi Nita
Thank you so much for validating my reading of Blackie. I am new at this and working on getting some kind of verbal response. Good to know it made sense to you.

      Hi Pam,

Thanks again for connecting to my Blackie.

I’m very new too (despite having taken my first class 5 years ago) but you got a good reading, and I wish you all the best…. hope we interact again!

      Love and blessings,
      Nita.

      Hi Nita 🙂

      I hope you are well.
I tried to connect to Blackie. By now I know a little bit more of your situation so I hope I am not making this up or am being too influenced!

He is sleepy and yawns, lifts his head when I call him. He feels a bit ‘down’, a bit heavy on the heart, he sighs.
‘I want her to stop worrying. When she worries, I worry also’. He feels a bit helpless, he wants to help you. To be radiant and strong and free of guilt. He loves you so much. He tries to get your attention, make you laugh by inviting you to play games. She needs to have hope and faith.

I ask about Ashish. I get a very happy and excited feeling. I see Blackie standing on his hind legs and barking.

He says there is a lot of sadness in your heart. He says he misses his mom Brownie too, but he now feels more sad about you being sad. ‘The love we share is here in the now, in the present moment’.
He highlights the importance of selfcare. He says you support everyone else. But who supports you? He thinks the pranic healing you practice is wonderful. But you need to work on yourself first, put yourself in the center / middle.
I am here to show her she deserves that love, that same unconditional love that she gives me.

I ask about the house. He says it’s a little cold and wet, and ‘unprotected’. The atmosphere needs to be cleansed. He feels a little bit scared sometimes.

I feel like he is a little bit withdrawn. Like not sure about his role or responsibilities. ‘I would like her to give me more assignments. To tell me what she needs from me, how I can help’. We go through his qualities – brave, loyal, calm, quiet, loving, calming, …Yes but I want to do more he says. She is often sad. I remember one of Val’s talks and I tell him he is doing a great job, that his job is not to take on sadness or guilt, but to be happy and just be his wonderful self. He wags his tail. He feels relief and says thank you.
I cuddle him. I think about crystals – maybe you could use these to put in your environment? Inside but also outside, like in a grid pattern.
Blackie licks my nose and I thank him for the conversation.

Much much love to both of you 🙂 🙂

      Hi Mascha,

Thanks very much for the lovely communication and Blackie’s messages.

Yes, I do have a few worries and a lot of sadness, especially regarding Brownie, but I did not realize that he feels sad or helpless. I’m working on it since the laser coaching session with Val. I can understand his very different response to Ashish, as his attitude to life is totally opposite to mine!

He’s not the first one to mention self care and love, but it’s easier said than done, due to circumstances, and lack of time and opportunity with having all of them to look after! I have not been able to take a break anywhere for over a year as the helper has no empathy for the dogs, and I suspect something happened in my absence, as Blackie suddenly became very hostile towards him, so I can’t leave them alone.

I think he supports Pranic healing, since he’s always with me when I do the Twin Hearts meditation and attend all the online sessions!

It has been very wet and cold, literally, and he doesn’t like it! I’m not sure what he means by the house being “unprotected”, and what is he scared of? This is the only part that concerns me. I know there are volatile energies around and I cleanse regularly with the Pranic healing recommendations as you know. I also use crystals/tourmaline as diversionary tactics as taught in psychic self defence. I tried making a protective grid, but it required re programing too often, and I just can’t manage the time.

Actually, I have to think of some more responsibilities for him! as his role has been to just keep out of trouble, specially by not eating any and everything at home and outside! Thank you for reassuring him and telling him that he does not need to take on my emotions.

Thanks again for the very insightful conversation, so glad he connected with you closely,
Much love from both of us.
