ModeratorWe are glad you are interested in practicing talking together with an animal!
To get started, greet the animal and ask if they have time to talk with you. Remember that animals also lead busy lives even though we may not see all that they do. If they aren’t available, check back later.
Introduce yourself and explain why you are reaching out to them: that you are a member of the Animal Talk Coaching & Mastery Club and learning to better communicate with animals and would appreciate their help. You can ask them any questions you want. Typically they do provide a response. Please share your impressions of their personality, energy, how they feel and any insights they may share with you. By sharing what you get, the animal’s person can provide you with feedback and others can jump in too.
Use the Forum SEARCH field (located at the top of the right column below the picture of the Featured Animal Teacher) to find more discussions involving this animal (or other animals with the same name).
Some conversations have been lively, and we’ve learned some amazing insights, and laughed at jokes. Remember that this is a safe place to practice. This is about practice and learning, it is not about getting it perfect. The animals have much to teach us, to share with us and we with them.

Platinum MemberDear All,
If any of you have a little time to connect with Bebe, or any of my friends, kindly please let me know if they have a message for me.
I think Bebe is working hard to make himself heard, but my “special ears” are not opened yet.Thank you!

Platinum MemberHi Lucia,
I haven’t practiced with an animal teacher since Estella, so I’m quite rusty.I got the feeling that Bebe is a very sweet soul who may be a little wary or cautious of new people at first. The words anxious/aware/frantic came to mind at times, as if he’s often looking around to make sure things and people are okay, but I don’t know if that’s accurate or me making assumptions based on the photo. He is generally calm, but has a need to be protective of his family.
Does he sleep on a blue bed of some sort (like a doggie bed)? I also got an image of a young person wearing a winter coat sticking their hand into the snow. Dobypu have a variety of weather and does Bebe enjoy being outdoors?
I’ve been having some mental blocks (preparing to euthanize one of my babies),but I really want to commit to practicing more. If I’m off track, I will try again. Many thanks to you both. 💜

Platinum MemberDear Erika,
Thank you very much for connecting with Bebe!
You are accurate with his anxiousness! He had thunder and fireworks phobia! I used to offer many natural supplements to ease his sensation, because his anxiousness manifested extremely sometimes.
Good thing the naturals worked, but in the end the special coat for loud sounds combined with the natural supplements worked best!
I feel that you are not rusty at all just tired.Yes, he had a dark blue wool blanket he loved. He used to sleep on it on a bed created for our previous dog Motzu.
Besides his noise anxiousness he had a very warm way of being. Calm, friendly and yes wary of strangers until he read theyr intentions. Yes we are in the temperate zone with 4 seasons. He owned a whole house for himself with special doggy door, to a big courtyard. He could always stay wherever he felt comfortable.
He loved children! So the young person sticking hand in the snow could be my nephew.
Bebe would accept anything from a child and from us, but not unknown humans. You are doing great!
Do not think of mental blocks because you will create them yourself! There are none at this point! If it’s about Kaden, I’m terribly sorry! It’s heartbreaking! I have posted something in that post thinking that you might want to try and practice with him!
My heart and love goes to you both of you!
Thank you for choosing my Bebe!
I miss him soooooo much!Loots of love! Remember one thing: the hardships in life are given only to the strongest!
If you need support or feel the need to talk with someone, and a little extra love from a distance I’m here.
There is nothing better than FREEDOM, your fur baby will get his freedom back, even though we think and feel it’s not fair…💖🤗🙏
