One of the most important things to stay on track with your animal communication goals is to be accountable to your journey on a regular basis. To help you with that, once a week please answer these simple questions listed below. Answer them 12 weeks in a row and you’ll have earned your Student Breakthrough Laser Coaching with Val (regularly $125). (game rules below)

This practice is designed to help you become more consciously aware of your journey, to celebrate your successes and share any perceived “failures” so they can be acknowledged, healed and cleared.

Do your best. You cannot copy and paste each week’s answers. They must be unique each week. If we feel you are trying to hack the system and not putting any real effort into this, then you will be asked to try again and if you miss the weekly deadline, you will have to start over with your weekly count.

Remember this is a journey, not a destination. The idea is for you to stay conscious and make progress every week.

NOTE: All students are invited to play, but only Gold and Platinum Club Members are eligible to earn the Accountability private Student Breakthrough Laser Coaching Session Awards.

While only posts answering the 6 Posting Questions (below) count as Accountability Posts, you are welcome to comment on anyone else’s posts. We are here to learn from and inspire each other too! Provide feedback to others and we will learn together.

HERE’S HOW GOLD & PLATINUM MEMBERS EARN YOUR COACHING SESSIONS:

      1) Stay Accountable. Each week there will be a new Accountability Discussion for the time period of Saturday through Friday to which you can post any day of the week. You are invited to report on your efforts, progress and frustrations during the week since your last post. You don’t have to have perfect results. It is more important that you are trying, taking action and sharing what’s happening.

Post each week between Saturday and Friday noon (12:00 pm). All posts are automatically time stamped based on Greenwich Mean (GMT) Time so the weekly system time stamp deadline is Friday 5:00 pm GMT. We suggest you don’t wait till the last minute.

Note: The system uses Greenwich Mean Time to keep us harmonized across time zones around the world in all seasons. Remember you can post any day of the week as long as it’s within the designated week. You can check your local time against Greenwich Mean Time using: https://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/converter-classic.html

      2) When you’ve completed 12 consecutive weeks of accountability posts you will receive an email from the Coaching Club Moderator with the Subject “Congratulations – you’ve earned a coaching session with Val.” This email will be sent after the new week’s Accountability Discussion has been posted to the Forum. If you miss a week, just start your count over the next week.

      3) In the Congratulations email, you’ll receive instructions on how to schedule your Breakthrough Laser Coaching with Val. You can use your time for animal communication coaching, mentoring, healing, and/or Val’s help working with your own animal(s).

      4) Beware: You cannot do 12 week’s worth of reporting in 1 week! Having the practice over time will strengthen your Animal Communication intuitive muscles.

      POSTING INSTRUCTIONS

Copy these 6 questions into your comment post below and answer them. Then click the SUBMIT button at the bottom.

TIP: To copy the questions, highlight the text and on a PC use ctrl-C (hold down the ctrl key and type a C) OR on a Mac use ⌘Command-C (hold down the ⌘Command key and type a C) then place the cursor in the Reply box and use ctrl-V (OR ⌘Command-V) to paste. We recommend you write them somewhere else, like in word, google docs, or pages, and then copy and paste them into the appropriate Forum discussion thread when you’re done. That way if something glitches with your post, you won’t have to start over from scratch.

      1. Meditate! Meditating is important to your progress because it helps you center, making it easier to connect and communicate with animals as well as release the mind chatter and increase your overall calm.

Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?

      2. Practice! You are required to practice communicating with at least one animal each week (if you don’t remember the animal’s name, indicate its species). Practicing every week will strengthen and grow your communication skills. It is often easier to communicate with animals other than those in our own family, so start outside your family animals. Visit our Animal Teachers page to find a willing partner and post what you get so their person can give you feedback.

What is the name of the animal with whom you communicated this week? What did you talk about? What did you assist with or learn from the experience?

      3. Celebrate! We want to celebrate you and your progress, whether you experienced outstanding success or not. A positive mindset is important so even if you had a rough week or don’t feel like you made much progress, there is always something to appreciate and be grateful for.

Name one thing you want to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week.

      4. Questions and/or Discoveries!

What questions do you have about communicating with animals this week? What discoveries did you have?

      5. Featured Animal Teacher! Communicating with our FAT provides the opportunity for fast feedback to enhance your learning and grow your animal communication skills. You are required to attempt at least one FAT communication per 4 week period.

Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If not, why not? If so, what happened (give us an overview of the conversation)? If you did, remember to post what you got in the Discussion with that animal if you have not already done so.

      6. Intuition Development Games! To find Club Membership resources click on the menu My Course > Platinum/Gold/Silver Membership > Intuitive Development Games

This week did you play one of the Intuition Games? If so, which one? If not, what did you do this week to practice growing your intuition for easier connection and communication with animals?

      <><>

      That’s it!!

We look forward to reading about your week.

Note: Silver members can Upgrade to Gold or Platinum membership at any time by emailing @ValHeart.com”>[email protected] and letting us know your wishes. Put Upgrade in the subject line.

      Much love, Barb & Val

      1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?

Yes, quietening the mind, releasing energies that are not mine and breathing in outside air.

      2. What is the name (or species) of the animal with whom you communicated this week? What did you talk about? What did you assist with or learn from the experience?

I had a deep healing experience with a lovely dog who had an abusive past. He’s so special and sweet and just wanted to experience what it was like to be loved, presently.Safe and comforted. He has that with his family who he adopted xo. The healing was deep and he was able to release what no longer served. I’m so proud of this brave boy who had the courage to do this. I am finding today that I need to release some of this energy as I am feeling off today.I also did this during teaching a class so that could be some of it too.

      3. Name one thing you want to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week.

I want to celebrate Blessing sharing his story on one of the student assignments during my course I taught. He came through and as he shared his story, he not only helped himself in his own skin, he helped me and the students. Thank you Blessing! xo

      4. What questions do you have about communicating with animals this week? What discoveries did you have?

I don’t have any questions at this time.

      5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If not, why not? If so, what happened (give us an overview of the conversation)? If you did, remember to post what you got in the Discussion with that animal if you have not already done so.

I have not communicated with Pistol yet this week. I’m not sure if Patricia received my communication from last week?

      6. This week did you play one of the Intuition Games? If so, which one? If not, what did you do this week to practice growing your intuition for easier connection and communication with animals?

My next intuition exercise opens on the 20th and I look forward to doing that one then! 🙂

      1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you? Attended a virtual meditation retreat this past weekend and it brought a lot of peace and understanding and many still moments. Meditating 4-5 hours every day for three days. Now working on becoming centered and still every day morning and night.

      2. What is the name (or species) of the animal with whom you communicated this week? What did you talk about? What did you assist with or learn from the experience?
      1. Horses: Snickers and Hazelnut: they shared their perspective on the world in a message to their human and
I shared the human’s appreciation for their presence in her life.
      2. Donkey: Salty. He shared a message about love and how you cannot listen to others if you have not been filled with love.
      3. Shades, kitty who just transitioned. Is he returning to the family? Yes. It will be in his own time.
      4. Feral Kitty who asked to be rescued by a family. The family thought she was a He and I didn’t ask so the reading was funny because I was reading from a male perspective and it felt off. I didn’t know why it felt off until I learned that he was a she kitty! Now I have one more question that I can ask animals if I’m feeling something is not quite right.
      5. Buddy, a Dog that wasn’t feeling well. He said his head felt all stuffed up. I asked my healing guides to help him.

      3. Name one thing you want to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week.
Salty, the Donkey told me that there are no mistakes and all the animals are very happy that I am a voice for them.

      4. What questions do you have about communicating with animals this week? What discoveries did you have? I have discovered from the horses that it’s important when listening to hold space from within my heart and being silent allows others to open up.

      5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If not, why not? If so, what happened (give us an overview of the conversation)? If you did, remember to post what you got in the Discussion with that animal if you have not already done so. I will post what I receive from Pistol in the forum.

      6. This week did you play one of the Intuition Games? If so, which one? If not, what did you do this week to practice growing your intuition for easier connection and communication with animals? Using intuition and guidance throughout my day this week.

      1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?

Yes I did meditate this week, for a total of approximately 2 hours and 15 minutes – a combination of focusing on my breathing, The Heart Rose and Waterfall meditations and “Honoring Life” meditation by Sarah Blondin.

      2. What is the name (or species) of the animal with whom you communicated this week? What did you talk about? What did you assist with or learn from the experience?

This week I communicated with cat Pistol, this month’s Featured Animal Teacher. We talked about what Pistol loves to eat. I learned how excited Pistol is to help us humans to start talking to animals again.

      3. Name one thing you want to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week.

This week I celebrate that I set aside time to meditate on a number of days.

      4. What questions do you have about communicating with animals this week? What discoveries did you have?

I discovered that my focus on the animal may be better if I keep my eyes open and keep looking at the photo of the animal (rather than close my eyes which I have previously done).

      5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If not, why not? If so, what happened (give us an overview of the conversation)? If you did, remember to post what you got in the Discussion with that animal if you have not already done so.

Yes I did communicate with the Featured Animal Teacher of the month, cat Pistol. We talked about what Pistol loves to eat and how excited Pistol was to be able to help us humans to talk to animal again. I posted in The Forum.

      6. This week did you play one of the Intuition Games? If so, which one? If not, what did you do this week to practice growing your intuition for easier connection and communication with animals?

This week I played The Card Intuition Game, getting 11/20, 9/20, 11/20 and 10/20 correct (when trying to guess the color). This skill is very up and down with me but seems to be best when I do it very quickly and don’t think at all.

      1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you? Yes. I prayed to the Universe and while meditating went out of body. I thought asking for things I want from the Universe might be most effective when out of body.

I also got calm and went out of body again.

      2. What is the name (or species) of the animal with whom you communicated this week? What did you talk about? What did you assist with or learn from the experience? Sometime recently-maybe a different week-Serenity showed me an image of a cliff with greenery and maybe an image of a forest, too-from a past life. I also asked her if she’d like to live somewhere bigger with more open space.

I told Serenity I Love her and appreciate her and apologized for when not Highest and Greatest Self.

I communicated with Hawkeye, too. I invited him to keep me company while I brushed my teeth and such. I also praised him for not swatting at Serenity. I don’t remember what else we talked about.
      There was something though.

      3. Name one thing you want to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week. My own journey of Healing. I have my cats to thank for some of it and am filled with gratitude. It really helps to think about things how they think or might think.
Also, and this is in a round about way connected since it involves energy, when I was using the water jet to clear my gum pockets there was of course water left over in the water jet’s head. I wanted to clear this one drop and I focused intently my energy on clearing the drop and almost instantly it cleared!
I have had the realization lately that maybe sometimes when I feel activity in my Third Eye area that maybe sometimes it’s my Higher Self guiding me on the matter at hand.

      4. What questions do you have about communicating with animals this week? What discoveries did you have? Nothing new.

      5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If not, why not? If so, what happened (give us an overview of the conversation)? If you did, remember to post what you got in the Discussion with that animal if you have not already done so. Yes. Pistol is a funny guy! We also played and then he curled up for a nap. I asked about if he understand English and Spanish. He said he does. He also asked me about how I got involved with animal communication. I posted about this communication and the rest of it for Patricia to see it.

      6. This week did you play one of the Intuition Games? If so, which one? If not, what did you do this week to practice growing your intuition for easier connection and communication with animals? I psychically knew that an episode of “The Andy Griffith Show” with the character Malcolm Merriweather was coming on-the episode following the one I was watching where I thought about the character had an episode with Malcolm in it. I also was thinking about having an email from the wife of the website marketing team I have working for me and when I checked my email there was an email from her. There was something else I don’t remember right now.

      1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?

My go-to Soul Mala Healing Meditation music for 10-30 mins each evening before bed.

      2. What is the name (or species) of the animal with whom you communicated this week? What did you talk about? What did you assist with or learn from the experience?

The same little opossum that was in my barn last week apparently likes it there. It has been extremely cold here for the past week, colder than what we are used to for an extended period, and it’s supposed to get even worse this weekend. This morning I found the opossum laying on some hay on the floor in the barn, curled up to keep warm. (S)he made no effort to run away, sniffed at me, gave a big yawn, and curled back up. (S)he is not bothered by my activity in the barn, and I keep talking to him/her while I’m there. (S)he was still there when I fed them after work this evening, didn’t look like (s)he had moved at all. My heart goes out to all the little animals who have to be outside in weather like this. They are so remarkable to survive in such frigid temperatures. I wouldn’t last one night!!

      3. Name one thing you want to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week.

      Nothing new.

      Not yet, no time.

      6. This week did you play one of the Intuition Games? If so, which one? If not, what did you do this week to practice growing your intuition for easier connection and communication with animals?

No time for games, trying to remain aware of any intuitive thoughts that might come my way.

      1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?
Chanting every day. Did rainbow 3 times. Did one silent. Did one guided.
2..What is the name of the animal with whom you communicated this week? What did you talk about? What did you assist with or learn from the experience?
I am practising chatting with Elsa and not secondguessing what I get – just going with it.
      2. Name one thing you want to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week.
That I’m still trying and I love it and it’s the way forward! And that it has led to me starting to prioritise what I love rather than what I think is my duty. Just starting – still have to keep reminding myself, but I’m beginning to understand what Val says about certain things being my birthright. I just couldn’t believe it before.
      3. What questions do you have about communicating with animals this week? What discoveries did you have?
I’m beginning to understand what Val means by trust what you get – it helps you develop your ability. I can see that since I’ve stopped second guessing so much, I can discern more easily what is made up and what is real.
      4. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If not, why not? If so, what happened (give us an overview of the conversation)? If you did, remember to post what you got in the Discussion with that animal if you have not already done so.
Yes – I had a go at communicating with Pistol. Sweet, strong, intensely intelligent Pistol. I’ve posted what I got but may not check until after the Q&A.
      5. This week did you play one of the Intuition Games? If so, which one? If not, what did you do this week to practice growing your intuition for easier connection and communication with animals?
I’m having a go at Pam’s what’s in my box on FB. I’m not getting it right but I’m happy that I’m brave enough to share what I do get. My mind goes crazy making stuff up 😊

      1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?

In addition to several group meditations, church and a group call with Susann, I am working with the Reiki meditations. I am teaching a small in person Reiki workshop later this month wo am reviewing the beginning meditations I teach.

      2. What is the name (or species) of the animal with whom you communicated this week? What did you talk about? What did you assist with or learn from the experience? Last night as I was having difficulty getting to sleep, I asked my cats Missy and Roxy to help me and also asked Princess in spirit for her help. I fell asleep as I finished asking.

I just said Hello to our FAT for the month, Pascal. I’ve connected with this cat before and will connect more during the call tomorrow. I’ve also tried off and on to communicate with Roxy. We communicate well using charades as Einstein used to call it, but he is man of few i.e. no words.

      3. Name one thing you want to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week. My success asking for and getting assistance from all my cats last night when I could not get to sleep. I don’t know how they do it. Sometimes Roxy gets on my feet and Missy curls up on top of my head, but last night they just did it instantly. Amazing.

      4. What questions do you have about communicating with animals this week? What discoveries did you have? My question which I plan to post for the call tomorrow has to do with whether we need permission from the human / owner to communicate with their animal.

      5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If not, why not? If so, what happened (give us an overview of the conversation)? If you did, remember to post what you got in the Discussion with that animal if you have not already done so. I briefly said hello as I was coming online to post this. I said tomorrow is a big day when everyone talks to you at once and that I’d connect again then.

      6. This week did you play one of the Intuition Games? If so, which one? If not, what did you do this week to practice growing your intuition for easier connection and communication with animals? No, I did not play any games.

      No chance.

      2. What is the name (or species) of the animal with whom you communicated this week? What did you talk about? What did you assist with or learn from the experience?
I talked to the feral kittens about the dangers of the street. As we still have a curfew from 9pm until 5am, they think they can play in the street. They don’t believe me. Last night one girl just so escaped a car, because the driver slowed down for her and this morning, I found a young male dead under my olive tree. I guess, he was hit by a car and collapsed under the tree.
I had a talk with Pascal. He had taken to peeing on the floor daily. I explained him that this is very bad for me, because I can’t remove the built-in furniture and thus, can’t clean whatever gets underneath. He obviously thought about it. Since a couple of days, he decided to go back outside in the kennel.

      3. Name one thing you want to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week.
      Nothing to celebrate right now.

      4. What questions do you have about communicating with animals this week? What discoveries did you have?
      No questions

      5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If not, why not? If so, what happened (give us an overview of the conversation)? If you did, remember to post what you got in the Discussion with that animal if you have not already done so.
Looking forward to do so tomorrow during our call.

      6. This week did you play one of the Intuition Games? If so, which one? If not, what did you do this week to practice growing your intuition for easier connection and communication with animals?
Still trying to feel what’s in Pam’s box. I’m on the right way, but can’t yet fully get it.

      1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?
Yes, every morning for 20 minutes.

      2. What is the name (or species) of the animal with whom you communicated this week? What did you talk about? What did you assist with or learn from the experience?
I only spoke with my girlies about every day things and the fun of running in the snow.

      3. Name one thing you want to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week.
I want to celebrate my new thing with the Mooks; when she gets ‘stuck’ I go gently towards her, put my hand gently on her back and tell her that she can ‘do this’ and the simple contact of my hand gives her the courage she needs.

      4. What questions do you have about communicating with animals this week? What discoveries did you have?
I don’t particularly have a question other than any tips to help the Mooks be less distracted and stay more present would be useful.

      5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If not, why not? If so, what happened (give us an overview of the conversation)? If you did, remember to post what you got in the Discussion with that animal if you have not already done so.
No, I did not, time got the better of me this week, it has flown by and I didn’t even notice!

      6. This week did you play one of the Intuition Games? If so, which one? If not, what did you do this week to practice growing your intuition for easier connection and communication with animals?
No 🙁 been really busy with new course work, reading, listening, reading, listening, trying to understand and apply new knowledge…it plain wears a gal out !

I seem to connect thru his eyes. Complimented on his eyes. Seems wary of people, very cautious/hesitant. Tried to coax him to relax. Lives in an apartment in a town. Doesn’t know how he got the name of Pistol. I asked if we could be friends. Hesitant ‘maybe’ from Pistol. Suggested he had a lovely smile and to smile more.

1- Meditate: yes, every day I do my TM, I did some heart meditation and did some writing about my spiritual journey as an animal communicator everlasting student. I am also taking a class to connect with the trees and make alliances for manifestation etc. It will help me grow and heal my blockages with my communication. Really interesting.
2- Practice: I practiced being present with my cats, just touching them without expecting anything. When I did it with Vayu, he was lying on my crossed leg during my meditation and I touched him with both my hands on his body. What happen is I became really big, I saw myself as the big self as I am and he was this tiny little cat. He made me realized that I am a huge presence. It was cool. Another time, I just wanted to connect with Vayu again, he came and lied on my heart, we just connect at the heart, I become one with him. I cannot differentiate me or him.
3- Celebrate: did some good writing and reflection about what is going on with my intuitive energy.
      4- Questions: no
5- FAT: yes, but not much came out. I will post for last week and this week.
6- Game: feeling my own energy in between my hands. It feels like very strong magnet, very dense. Turning it on and off.
