One of the most important things to stay on track with your animal communication goals is practice including to be accountable on a regular basis. To help you with that, once a week please answer these simple questions listed below. When you post your answers 12 weeks in a row and, if you’re a Gold or Platinum member, you’ll have earned your Student Breakthrough Laser Coaching with Val (regularly $125). (see rules below)
This practice is designed to help you become more consciously aware of your journey, to celebrate your successes and share any perceived “failures” so they can be acknowledged, healed and cleared.
NOTE: Days of week have CHANGED for Accountability posting to starting on Thursday through Wednesday each week. You can post any day of the week with the changes and learnings since your post the prior week.
Do your best. You cannot copy and paste the same answers every week. They must be unique each week. If we feel you are trying to hack the system and not putting any real effort into this, then you will be asked to try again and if you miss the weekly deadline, you will have to start over with your sequence count.
Remember this is a journey, not a destination. The idea is for you to stay conscious and make progress every week.
NOTE: All students are invited to participate, but only Gold and Platinum Club Members are eligible to earn the Accountability private Student Breakthrough Laser Coaching Session Rewards. Silver members can Upgrade to Gold or Platinum membership at any time by emailing Support@ValHeart.com and letting us know your wishes. Put “Upgrade” in the subject line.
While only posts answering the 6 Posting Questions (below) count as Accountability Posts, you are welcome to comment on anyone else’s posts. We are here to learn from and inspire each other too! Provide feedback to others and we will learn together.
HERE’S HOW GOLD & PLATINUM MEMBERS EARN YOUR COACHING SESSIONS:
1) Stay Accountable. Each week there will be a new Accountability Discussion for the time period of Thursday through Wednesday to which you can post any day of the week, earlier is better so you don’t miss the deadline. You are invited to report on your efforts, progress and frustrations during the week since your last post. You don’t have to have perfect results. It is more important that you are trying, taking action and sharing what’s happening.
Post each week between Thursday and Wednesday noon (12:00 PM Eastern). We suggest you don’t wait till the last minute. Remember you can post any day of the week as long as it’s within the designated week.
Note: The system uses Greenwich Mean Time to keep us harmonized across time zones around the world in all seasons which means the system’s deadline timestamp is Wednesday 5:00 pm GMT. You can check your local time against Greenwich Mean Time using: https://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/converter-classic.html
2) When you’ve completed 12 consecutive weeks of accountability posts you will receive an email from the Coaching Club Moderator with the Subject “Congratulations – you’ve earned a coaching session with Val.” If you miss a week, just start your count over the next week.
3) In the Congratulations email, you’ll receive instructions on how to schedule your Breakthrough Laser Coaching with Val. You can use your private time for animal communication coaching, mentoring, healing, and/or Val’s help working with your own animal(s).
4) Be consistent! You cannot do 12 week’s worth of reporting in 1 week! Having the practice over time will strengthen your Animal Communication intuitive muscles.
POSTING INSTRUCTIONS
Answer these 6 questions in the REPLY box below. Then click the SUBMIT button at the bottom.
1. Meditate! Meditating is important to your progress because it helps you center, making it easier to connect and communicate with animals as well as release the mind chatter and increase your overall calm.
Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?
2. Practice! You are required to practice communicating with at least one animal each week (if you don’t remember the animal’s name, indicate its species). Practicing every week will strengthen and grow your communication skills. It is often easier to communicate with animals other than those in our own family, so start outside your family animals. Visit our Animal Teachers page to find a willing partner and post what you get so their person can give you feedback.
What is the name of the animal with whom you communicated this week? What did you talk about? What did you assist with or learn from the experience?
3. Celebrate! We want to celebrate you and your progress, whether you experienced outstanding success or not. A positive mindset is important so even if you had a rough week or don’t feel like you made much progress, there is always something to appreciate and be grateful for.
Name one thing you want to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week.
4. Questions and/or Discoveries!
What questions do you have about communicating with animals this week? What discoveries did you have?
5. Featured Animal Teacher! Communicating with our FAT provides the opportunity for fast feedback to enhance your learning and grow your animal communication skills. You are required to attempt at least one FAT communication per 4 week period.
Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If not, why not? If so, what happened (give us an overview of the conversation)? If you did, remember to post what you got in the Discussion with that animal if you have not already done so.
6. Intuition Development! To find Club Membership resources click on the menu My Course > Platinum/Gold/Silver Membership > Intuitive Development lessons
This week did you practice one of the Intuition Development exercises? If so, which one? If not, what did you do this week to practice growing your intuition for easier connection and communication with animals?
We look forward to reading about your week.
Much love, Moderator Barb & Val

1.I meditated 4 or 5 times this week using methods from a book and on my own. Having severe asthma attacks so not as much as I would like too.
2. I tried to contact with Zurri but no luck although during our Q and A session, I felt something small like a cat rubbing on my hand. I will try again and also try another animal.
3. I want to celebrate that I have my message center working again after 30 years. It was a shock to receive the message. It just popped into my mind and I heard it clearly. Also a picture in my mind. So healing must be working and my confidence has been boosted.
4.If I send a message for my dog to come to me and my husband appears at the door and says you called, can he pick up the message as well? Both my husband and I have heard from our spirit dog.
5.No, tried but got nowhere.
6. I tried with the Oscars but was not very good. -

I continue to meditate every day as well as practice getting into my heart space several times to strengthen my quickness and abilities.
This week I spoke with my dog, Sophie. My intention was to ask her if she had past lives that she remembered and would talk about. The connection was slow and difficult. I waited for it to happen though. Sophie didn’t seem like she was up for talking as she handed me off to our dog, Riley who has past. I asked Riley if she has reincarnated into Sophie or if she remembers any past lives herself that she would want to talk about. She gave choppy videos. She showed me the times when she would push me down communicating I was sick from mold in the home and then she showed me Sophie doing the same thing. Then she showed me things they both liked to do but they were very different. I got the impression that she watches over Sophie and guides her in the right direction as needed. I thought of a puppet master.
I then asked Riley if she knew why Sophie often presented herself with Wolf. She said the Sophie does act as a Spirit guide on occasion. I told Riley that we often laugh at night when it’s time to go to bed…. I would say “Bed City” and Riley would get so excited and run up to bed. This week I would like to celebrate the support I received from my spirit guides. They were my own personal cheerleading squad. “You can do it”. You can’t stop after that! 😉
Question: How do I know if I am truly connected throughout the conversation? I can feel the shift in the beginning but then when the conversation begins, how do I know if I’ve jumped out of the connection and my head is running with the scenario or it’s still a true connection?
I followed with a Masterclass recording where there were groupings of animals… I did not feel successful at all. Yikes! It would be great if there would be an area with the picture of the animal and a summary elsewhere so I can evaluate my accuracy in the moment.

1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?
Yes. every day 20 m9n in the morning. I just sit and try to do nothing and concentrate on my feelings
2. What is the name (or species) of the animal with whom you communicated this week? What did you talk about? What did you assist with or learn from the experience?
My bunny. I was with him at the vet to do his teeth. It was a challenging experience for him, like alway, but he mastered it. when we came home, I gave him his favorite food and let him a bit decompress and I called a friend of mine. I was telling my friend about that ongoing tooth grinding and about that the vet said , how proud she was of my bunny, that he is doing so well, because most of the bunnies in his situation would have left already, like died. in that moment I heard a very pitching voice in my head: I AM NOT LEAVING!!! I was shocked a moment of how strong and strict and invasive his message came and then I had to burst out laughing. I love that little fella for who he is.
3. Name one thing you want to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week.
I start to hear and perceive better with less tension
4. What questions do you have about communicating with animals this week? What discoveries did you have?
I am still fighting with that very frozen and hard layer inside of me, which prevents me to go into contact with my surrounding. also with animals. and I research of how to heal it.
5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If not, why not? If so, what happened (give us an overview of the conversation)? If you did, remember to post what you got in the Discussion with that animal if you have not already done so.
Not jet
6. This week did you practice Intuition Development exercises? If so, which one? If not, what did you do this week to practice growing your intuition for easier connection and communication with animals?
Not from the course. but I had some conversation with man on a dating platform and I guessed their astrological aspects (sun, moon, mars…) ans I was mainly right 🙂

1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?
Mainly very short meditations and chants/prayers and forgiveness rituals, as I lost an elderly rescue a week ago, and have been very tired physically and mentally.2. What is the name (or species) of the animal with whom you communicated this week? What did you talk about? What did you assist with or learn from the experience?
One of my other rescues reacted to the transition and also had physical issues, so I tried to explain to him what had happened. I took him to the grave and let him process his feelings.3. Name one thing you want to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week.
The one thing is not directly connected to AC, but I do want to celebrate being here, getting valuable insights from Val, and the support of friends on the forum and FB group, at this difficult time.4. What questions do you have about communicating with animals this week? What discoveries did you have?
The mind-body connection was confirmed when I saw the very sad look in the eyes of one of the other rescues after Rani passed, and a day after when he developed gastric issues, though there was a logical reason for it. The sadness probably lowered his immunity. Surprisingly, he turned the corner after sitting for a while near her grave.5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If not, why not? If so, what happened (give us an overview of the conversation)? If you did, remember to post what you got in the Discussion with that animal if you have not already done so.
Yes6. This week did you practice Intuition Development exercises? If so, which one? If not, what did you do this week to practice growing your intuition for easier connection and communication with animals?
No formal exercises, but trying to tap into messages from a pine tree that’s been very special. -

1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?
Yes, mantra meditation and getting in my heart space while on a walk. I let the trees do Healing on me. I started going on this one very quiet street and enjoy being there.
2. What is the name (or species) of the animal with whom you communicated this week? What did you talk about? What did you assist with or learn from the experience?
Serenity and Hawkeye. I asked Them how they felt about a new thing I got them. I asked/said other things. I don’t remember exactly specifically what right now.
Birds, too, who gave me messages.
A bee who told me I am less fearful.
Also, a friend (cat if a person friend) and the cat at the store I buy cat food at.3. Name one thing you want to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week. Learning about being more open to their guidance.
4. What questions do you have about communicating with animals this week? What discoveries did you have? Nothing new.
5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If not, why not? If so, what happened (give us an overview of the conversation)? If you did, remember to post what you got in the Discussion with that animal if you have not already done so. Not this week. Maybe I will for next week. Unless I decide to before this week is calculated.
6. This week did you practice Intuition Development exercises? If so, which one? If not, what did you do this week to practice growing your intuition for easier connection and communication with animals? No exercises. More with numbers.

1. Meditate!
I meditated but only shorts, evenings and mornings. I tried not to have any support like guided meditation or music, but I keep hearing all kind of sounds distracting me. Perhaps this week I will return to guided meditations as it seems my brain needs a distraction.
2. Practice!
I practiced more with energy healing, as I don’t know what is happening with all my friends…
Today I had to take Likurichu to the vet…. Bronchopneumonia…
After getting Rosy out of hospital, she had a sort of relapse. Not as serious but I feel she is not fully healed yet.3. Celebrate!
I celebrate that I have this blessing of using the healing energy through my hands.
4. Questions and/or Discoveries!
Thank you! Nothing pressing at the moment. 😊5. Featured Animal Teacher! Communicating with our FAT provides the opportunity for fast feedback to enhance your learning and grow your animal communication skills.
I did not find enough peace and silence and calm within, to connect with Zuri. I am sorry Zuri! You are so beautiful and elegant.
6. Intuition Development Games! To find Club Membership resources click on the menu My Course > Platinum/Gold/Silver Membership > Intuitive Development Games
Usual traffic and my intuition kicks in whenever needed. For example intuition kicked in and it guided me to take Likurichu at the vet’s.

1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?
— Yes, I spent an hour meditating throughout the week. I am enjoying my silent meditations, focusing on my breath and heartbeat while practicing relaxation techniques.
2. What is the name (or species) of the animal with whom you communicated this week? What did you talk about? What did you assist with or learn from the experience?
— I communicated with Patty’s dog Ginger on Facebook. We talked about how she was feeling a pinching sensation and couldn’t feel her legs. I learned that she was not in any pain.
3. Name one thing you want to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week.
— I want to celebrate myself for working on myself and wanting to just try, even if I get it wrong. Practice makes progress is my new motto.
4. What questions do you have about communicating with animals this week? What discoveries did you have?
— I don’t know if I have any questions come up this week. I am just trying to create a conducive lifestyle for better alignment and openness.
5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If not, why not? If so, what happened (give us an overview of the conversation)? If you did, remember to post what you got in the Discussion with that animal if you have not already done so.
— I keep trying to talk with Zuri and I think I am putting too much pressure on myself bcs she is the FAT. It may sound silly, but I was open and willing to connect with Ginger – maybe bcs it was an emergency situation – but I felt like I was connecting much easier. I obviously have more work to do.
6. This week did you practice Intuition Development exercises? If so, which one? If not, what did you do this week to practice growing your intuition for easier connection and communication with animals?
— Yes, I practiced random intuition exercises like who the message was from when my phone chimed, what the weather was going to be like without looking at the forecast, what someone’s choice was going to be, will there be anyone on our walking trail today, etc. Just trying to make it more fun and goofier so that I become more comfortable with it.

1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?
Yes, every day. However, now I am having difficulty quieting my mind.
2. What is the name (or species) of the animal with whom you communicated this week? What did you talk about? What did you assist with or learn from the experience?
Only my cats and my daughters dogs.
3. Name one thing you want to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week.
Nothing to celebrate
4. What questions do you have about communicating with animals this week? What discoveries did you have?
I would like to know how ethical it is to predict a future of catastrophic illness to a pet parent? And how,in fact, would that ever serve the higher good?
I discovered that there is an sweeping lack of self-awareness across the human race5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If not, why not? If so, what happened (give us an overview of the conversation)? If you did, remember to post what you got in the Discussion with that animal if you have not already done so.
Yes of course, I talked to Zuri.
6. This week did you practice Intuition Development exercises? If so, which one? If not, what did you do this week to practice growing your intuition for easier connection and communication with animals?
Practiced feeling vs. thinking. Staying in the flow. When it feels icky, don’t do it.

1. I did a sacred animal guardian meditation and Val’s heart wisdom meditation.
2. Coco the gecko. She was very excited upon meeting, happy and hyper, running around. Got a big yes when I asked to talk with her. I couldn’t get responses but felt like she’s just a good friend to sit with and be present with. I was laying down on my stomach with my head on my hands and we were just looking at each other. I sensed that she can be a bit cautious too – she would stop and move slowly at times observing and listening around her. Sky blue aura a couple inches off body. First time connecting with a gecko!
3. It’s been really rough lately with not being thrilled to practice but tried again for this week and I got more than I thought I got. Had to do a meditation that I know I’ve enjoyed before and then I did Val’s meditation. I think that helped. Also want to celebrate that I did all 5 days of accountability for Sarah-Jane’s free 5 day intensive.
4. I have learned from Sarah-Jane that if we feel lack with animal communication, it doesn’t just show up there – it will show up in other areas of our life. True for me because with reflecting on my blocks, I realized that lack of self love and self compassion are my biggest themes. I have some lifelong blocks and it made me feel like there’s just no hope. But I guess awareness and reflection is good. “The more reflective you are, the more effective you are.”
5. The FAT from November 2022, Coco. I wrote more in response #2. Loved hearing Sean say how happy geckos are. I didn’t know much about them.
6. I’ve been learning from Sarah-Jane’s events with daily playworks, a q&A, and a masterclass. The event just wrapped up and I’m glad I have more tools to use even though I’ve been fighting this low period.

1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?
Appx 90 mins an evening online meditation. Hard to relax so took most all the session to release tension and relax
2 What is the name of the animal with whom you communicated this week? What did you talk about? What did you assist with or learn from the experience
None, other than neighbour’s cats. Seems with Tuxedo it’s about territory – my garden and home. which I have explained to her that the territory is open to them both to visit. Tabby is wary of Tuxedo and will sit and watch her. Tabby will look thru the window and glass patio door to check if tuxedo is there. Tabby wandered into the living room via open door. Tuxedo was asleep upstairs. Tabby stayed a short while then left. Meantime heard a loud thud where tuxedo had jumped from atop of the wardrobes and then scratching at the closed living room door to be let in. Tabby had left the garden when tuxedo came into the room. She darted to the closed patio door, chirped a little. When let out she wandered around checking the ‘sprayed’ area of tabby before wandering back into the house.
When outside they both sometimes wandered or sit near each other. Although Tabby will sometimes observe Tuxedo from a distance even following her along the path. Tuxedo is regular visitor to Tabby’s garden and home. Seems with Tuxedo it’s about territory – my home – which have explained to her. Tuxedo is slowly getting less anxious and at chirping and racing to the garden door3. Name one thing you want to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week.
Celebrate continuing to learn AC
4. What questions do you have about communicating with animals this week? What discoveries did you have?

Not this week. Await feedback from guardian
6. This week did you play one of the Intuition Games? If so, which one? If not, what did you do this week to practice growing your intuition for easier connection and communication with animals?
Yes . Using my intuition as often as possible be it, who’ll I be picked to play tennis with at the club, watching few tv game shows. General something quick eg. People watching – assume what they’ll do next

1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?
A few quiet times sitting with a cat in my lap but mostly group meditations: church and the Immersion with Susann.
2. What is the name (or species) of the animal with whom you communicated this week? What did you talk about? What did you assist with or learn from the experience?
The cat Zuri, our FAT.
Lee validated my sense that they knew each other before and she validated this and shared a wonderful story about their first meeting when she was a tiny kitten.
Zuri said this is not the first time she has been with Lee in this lifetime and said she would leave it to Lee to find out which previous cat was the same cat as Zuri. Zuri if they had been together before this life and I got a huge YES. She suggested that Lee ask to remember a lifetime in ancient Egypt. Zuri would not tell me more – said again that is for Lee to discover.
3. Name one thing you want to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week.
The connection I had with Zuri.
4. What questions do you have about communicating with animals this week? What discoveries did you have? How easily I connected with Zuri. I think I’m making a big deal about connection which happens so easily for me that I think I’m not doing it but just making it up.
5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If not, why not? If so, what happened (give us an overview of the conversation)? If you did, remember to post what you got in the Discussion with that animal if you have not already done so.
Yes, see above.

1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?
I did some but not much. I found it so difficult, partly because of work, but also partly feeling dispirited.
2. What is the name of the animal with whom you communicated this week? What did you talk about? What did you assist with or learn from the experience?
I haven’t practiced formally this week. Just trying to be present with Elsa and finding it hard to stop my mind racing. Struggling to be present and struggling to meditate. But I think it’s because I’m tired.
3. Name one thing you want to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week.
That animals have such a wonderful, beautiful heart that we can learn from.
4. Questions and/or Discoveries!
I just really realised how important it is to just be present.
5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If not, why not? If so, what happened (give us an overview of the conversation)? If you did, remember to post what you got in the Discussion with that animal if you have not already done so.
No I haven’t this week. Yet!
6.This week did you practice one of the Intuition Development exercises? If so, which one? If not, what did you do this week to practice growing your intuition for easier connection and communication with animals?
Not really. -

1. Still not doing well with this. The humans in my life are just overwhelming me. Thankfully the animals are good!
2. I don’t know his name, but I connected with a dog in India who was very sad after another dog died, his person posted in the AnimalTalk facebook group. “I connected with him, sat in his sadness for a while, and told him that Rani is still with you all in spirit (can’t be seen). He perked up at that and looked curious. (Maybe you can talk to Rani around him, to reinforce that?) I asked some spirit animals I know to go to him to support him, they cuddled up with him near Rani’s grave like a bunch of puppies.” Person replied: “Indeed your connection and spirit animals have helped more than you know….I did tell him that Rani was ill and now that she’s gone to Heaven she’s fine, but Ill do as you say and speak with her too near him. He’s definitely more settled today, and has got his voice back/usual noisy self!! So your explanation must have resonated with him.”
3. See #2 🙂
4. HOW can I get through this slogging place and start feeling successful??? I haven’t even finished listening to the recording from 2 months ago, maybe it doesn’t seem like it is worth the effort, or I don’t want to hear everyone else’s stories about their own wonderful connections. But apparently I CAN connect, and do some good; so why don’t I just do it???
5. Nope
6. As usual, looking at intuition in everyday life and confirming with muscle testing.-

Hi Greta,
You had connected with one of my rescues Khush (also on ATH page) who developed some symptoms after the death of another rescue Rani. I had posted for both of them on FB.
Thanks for your help. He’s back to normal now!Blessings

1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?
Yes, every morning for about 15 min., I missed 2 days though because of early appointments.
I did a mix of heart opening meditations and balancing chakra tones meditation.2. What is the name (or species) of the animal with whom you communicated this week? What did you talk about? What did you assist with or learn from the experience?
I tried to connect to a cat named Chaton twice over the last week. I felt him as bold and daring. Before I even thought there was a connection and I started calling his name he came to me first asking ‘who are you’? and ‘what for’?
I got confused, sometimes I felt a softness and sometimes a rudeness. I am not even sure if he is male or female. Then I got ‘stay away, leave me alone’.
The second time observing him he felt independent, to himself, with a fence around him (guarded). Again I felt like he did not want to talk to me. I did not insist.I connected with another cat Latte. She is sweet, funny, solid, strong, curious. She likes to play with other animals and her human. She likes the sunshine and chunky food.
Her role is a guide and caretaker, she engages, plays, makes her human laugh.3. Name one thing you want to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week.
I feel a bit stuck this week, like I am not getting anything or just making it up. I will celebrate though that I am not giving up!
4. What questions do you have about communicating with animals this week? What discoveries did you have?
I don’t have any particular question. I do find it harder to connect (and thus put my own baggage aside) when I do not feel that good or a bit worried.
5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If not, why not? If so, what happened (give us an overview of the conversation)? If you did, remember to post what you got in the Discussion with that animal if you have not already done so.
I had a short connection with Zuri. I could feel my heart opening and I felt so much love. Maybe she was showing me my heart space? I was not inspired with any questions. I asked for advice how to do this. ‘Be open and relax, she said, open your heart, it’s much easier than you think. Trust yourself. It’s ok to make mistakes’.
6. This week did you practice Intuition Development exercises? If so, which one? If not, what did you do this week to practice growing your intuition for easier connection and communication with animals?
Not really. I try to be more in my body by feeling my senses (touch, smell, hearing) when I think of it.

1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?
Again, no meditation time this week. My dog, Ginger, is requiring additional time from me right now.
2. What is the name (or species) of the animal with whom you communicated this week? What did you talk about? What did you assist with or learn from the experience?
My fur family. Focus on Ginger and her additional needs.

Made an attempt. No response received.
