One of the most important things to stay on track with your animal communication goals is practice including to be accountable on a regular basis. To help you with that, once a week (choose any day that works for your schedule), please answer these simple questions listed below. When you post your answers 12 weeks in a row and, if you’re a Gold or Platinum member, you’ll have earned your Student Breakthrough Laser Coaching with Val (regularly $125). (see rules below)
This practice is designed to help you become more consciously aware of your journey, to celebrate your successes and share any perceived “failures” so they can be acknowledged, healed and cleared.
Do your best. You cannot copy and paste the same answers every week. They must be unique each week. If we feel you are trying to hack the system and not putting any real effort into this, then you will be asked to try again and if you miss the weekly deadline, you will have to start over with your sequence count.
Remember this is a journey, not a destination. The idea is for you to stay conscious and make progress every week.
NOTE: All students are invited to participate, but only Gold and Platinum Club Members are eligible to earn the Accountability private Student Breakthrough Laser Coaching Session Rewards. Silver members can Upgrade to Gold or Platinum membership at any time by emailing Support@ValHeart.com and letting us know your wishes. Put “Upgrade” in the subject line.
While only posts answering the 6 Posting Questions (below) count as Accountability Posts, you are welcome to comment on anyone else’s posts. We are here to learn from and inspire each other too! Provide feedback to others and we will learn together.
HERE’S HOW GOLD & PLATINUM MEMBERS EARN YOUR COACHING SESSIONS:
1) Stay Accountable. Each week there will be a new Accountability Discussion for the time period of Thursday through Wednesday to which you can post any day of the week, earlier is better so you don’t miss the deadline. You are invited to report on your efforts, progress and frustrations during the week since your last post. You don’t have to have perfect results. It is more important that you are trying, taking action and sharing what’s happening.
Post each week between Thursday and Wednesday noon (12:00 PM Eastern). We suggest you don’t wait till the last minute. Remember you can post any day of the week within the designated week.
Note: The system uses Greenwich Mean Time to keep us harmonized across time zones around the world in all seasons which means the system’s deadline timestamp shows as Wednesday 5:00 pm GMT. You can check your local time against Greenwich Mean Time using: https://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/converter-classic.html
2) When you’ve completed 12 consecutive weeks of accountability posts you will receive an email from the Coaching Club Moderator with the Subject “Congratulations – you’ve earned a coaching session with Val.” If you miss a week, just start your count over the next week.
3) In the Congratulations email, you’ll receive instructions on how to schedule your Breakthrough Laser Coaching with Val. You can use your private time for animal communication coaching, mentoring, healing, and/or Val’s help working with your own animal(s).
4) Be consistent! You cannot do 12 week’s worth of reporting in 1 week! Having the practice over time will strengthen your Animal Communication intuitive muscles.
POSTING INSTRUCTIONS
Answer these 6 questions in the REPLY box below. Then click the SUBMIT button at the bottom.
1. Meditate! Meditating is important to your progress because it helps you center, making it easier to connect and communicate with animals as well as release the mind chatter and increase your overall calm.
Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?
2. Practice! You are required to practice communicating with at least one animal each week (if you don’t remember the animal’s name, indicate its species). Practicing every week will strengthen and grow your communication skills. It is often easier to communicate with animals other than those in our own family, so start outside your family animals. Visit our Animal Teachers page to find a willing partner and post what you get so their person can give you feedback.
What is the name of the animal with whom you communicated this week? What did you talk about? What did you assist with or learn from the experience?
3. Celebrate! We want to celebrate you and your progress, whether you experienced outstanding success or not. A positive mindset is important so even if you had a rough week or don’t feel like you made much progress, there is always something to appreciate and be grateful for.
Name one thing you want to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week.
4. Questions and/or Discoveries!
What questions do you have about communicating with animals this week? What discoveries did you have?
5. Featured Animal Teacher! Communicating with our FAT provides the opportunity for fast feedback to enhance your learning and grow your animal communication skills. You are required to attempt at least one FAT communication per 4 week period.
Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If not, why not? If so, what happened (give us an overview of the conversation)? If you did, remember to post what you got in the Discussion with that animal if you have not already done so.
6. Intuition Development! To find Club Membership resources click on the menu My Course > Platinum/Gold/Silver Membership > Intuitive Development lessons
This week did you practice one of the Intuition Development exercises? If so, which one? If not, what did you do this week to practice growing your intuition for easier connection and communication with animals?
We look forward to reading about your week.
Much love, Moderator Barb & Val

I have been doing quick meditations to ready myself for readings. I set aside time to meditate just for relaxation and soul clearing. I also was mindful of my internal relaxed state or tense state. When I noticed that I needed to address tension in my mind and body I would stop and do a 5 minute meditation.
Amazing insights…
I was communicating with my dog Jade as a follow up on previous conversations, RE: Noises. When she hears additional noises; doors opening, footsteps coming down the hallway, etc. she reacts by barking and lunging. She is so riled up she will continue even when she realizes it’s a family member.(J) When I hear additional noises, I don’t know what to be concerned about and my body takes over.
(T) Why don’t you accept my explanations regarding what the noises are so you don’t have to be concerned, or alerted?“My body triumphs your words” …..Wow.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I also had a conversation with a friend’s dog (I briefly met once). My friend wanted to know if her dog, Harley, wanted to have a 2nd dog in the family. We developed a well thought out Pro’s and Con’s list. Harley was concerned that the 2nd dog would not behave as well as she does and that might be upsetting to Mom.“The 2nd dog may not behave in the beginning. I don’t want to have to stay in the backyard because the 2nd dog can’t behave”
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I had a conversation with another friend’s dog and cat duo that have both passed. Her dog, Buck, that had passed was a Cane Corso. After Bucks passing, my friend made major life changes, moving across the country to get away from negative people and situations. When I asked Buck why he would send such a huge dog to her, even though she is a dog savvy woman, she is in her 60’s? He sent her a Boerboel Mastiff.“I’m still her protector and I sent her a huge dog because that is how much power I had”
(T) Do you have any words of wisdom to pass on to your Mom?
“Don’t get wrapped up in negativity. You made a move across the country to avoid negativity. So keep positivity in your heart as much as possible, because that is why you moved. Don’t hold on to any negativity in your body or your heart. Acknowledge it, push it aside and attach a positive to whatever situation you were feeling negative about.”
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~I would like to celebrate my insightful conversations that I have been having. I think I have jumped a hurdle but the possibility of missing the passing of the baton is always looming close by. I do have more confidence now that my ego hasn’t even been showing up.
I am discovering how insightful animals are. When I go back and transcribe a conversation, sometimes I am blown away by their words of wisdom. Many times it makes me sit back and think. Hmmmm I never thought of it that way!
I have been practicing intuition development by opening all of my senses to the best of my ability in order to receive information via each animal’s preferred style of communication.
1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?
Yes, but mainly self healing meditations as I’ve had lingering bouts of illness.2. What is the name (or species) of the animal with whom you communicated this week? What did you talk about? What did you assist with or learn from the experience?
I continued to talk to the blackbird mentioned last week as I was sure it had a message….but it suddenly stopped appearing, so I’m still watching for signs, as at one point, it had come through as a spirit guide in an exercise.3. Name one thing you want to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week.
To carry over from last week, my celebration is more gratitude….this time that Blackie and I navigated through the live call, which I was apprehensive about….with a sore throat and raspy voice, as well as being technically deficient!! Managed again thanks to Barb (and Rumery, who coached Blackie!) before, during and after the call….thank you for the kind note Barb! Thank you Lucia for the usual encouraging messages and tips before the call!!4. What questions do you have about communicating with animals this week? What discoveries did you have?
I always have so many questions and doubts which I will keep posting for the calls! Discoveries /learnings have been many during this last call, which I have posted in the golden nuggets.5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If not, why not? If so, what happened (give us an overview of the conversation)? If you did, remember to post what you got in the Discussion with that animal if you have not already done so.
I don’t think I can trust that what I get from him won’t be my voice! I did get the impression that he’s happy I’m here…..but again that may be my feelings alone!6. This week did you practice Intuition Development exercises? If so, which one? If not, what did you do this week to practice growing your intuition for easier connection and communication with animals?
I love guessing the colors of crystals in a bag, but realize I need to do other exercises too!-
1.Yes at the start of the week and then not so much towards the end. I had to go away for a few days and lost the rhythm so I feel like I’ve lost my connection with myself.
2. I practised with a dog that needed help and got feedback that I was on the right track. I’m pleased because I connected twice and got positive feedback both times. I also connected with Elsa about her staying somewhere else – I gave her all the details and when I left her, she didn’t follow me but showed me that she understood what was happening – so I’m delighted about that. I still get the feeling that she wants me to go much deeper with her mainly through being present together.
3. I want to celebrate that I got positive feedback three times in one week. I think I’ve got to a point where I seem to be able to trust the basic connection – and now I need to develop it. If I look back, I have made huge progress (over a long time) which I never thought I would. It doesn’t always feel like it though.
4. My question is: how can I drop into my heart more quickly – especially amongst busy people and places.
5.I haven’t practised with the FAT – I missed the call because I was away and just need to re-establish my routine.
6.I’m trying to acknowledge and connect with all sentient beings as I go about my life: trees, birds, rocks etc. I want to change the idea of human superiority and my human centric view of things.
1. Did you meditate this week
Appx hour in total. Completed several Brad Yates tapping video. Attended an evening online meditation session but fell asleep so didn’t compete the full 90 min session. Evening session is best for me but not ideal as I often fall asleep
2. What is the name (or species) of the animal with whom you communicated this week
Two Princesses – Tabby male… Tuxedo Female. Busy week. One of the guardians arrived home from abroad but had to go to her home for a few days in another county, therefore continued to look after tabby which i didn’t mind. Connecting non verbal replies informed tabby of change of situation and the day and night scenario. Also connected with tuxedo princess and informed her of the changes and thanked her for the help and support in helping me with tabby princess. Noticed tabby little less stressful around tuxedo and who , as far as I know, hasn’t chase tabby from my garden. Not sure how long that’ll last.
3. Name one thing you want to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week.
Celebrate looking after tabby princess, hopefully went well. and that tuxedo seemed to listen and support me with tabby. Both cats seem bit calmer. Also tabby doesn’t lash out with his claws less now when get too close or he’s had enough. He rases his paw and put it gentle on hand or arm. Melts my heart.
4. What questions do you have about communicating with animals this week? What discoveries did you have
Time and patience with both cats – tabby and tuxedo seeing how they evolve together.
5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)
Yes. Posted in forum
6.This week did you practice Intuition Development exercises
Watched television award ceremony – got a few right. Let my intuition guide me when out waking – busy week
1. Yes I meditated 4 or 5 times 15 t0 20 minutes each.
2.none, I am working on healing.
3.Learning to get into my heart space quicker and quiet my mind.
4.Can animals change their minds? Layla told Val she would go into the doctor’s office but refused when we got there. He treated her outside. I explained everything to her. He is a holistic vet. I think she owes Val an apology.
5. I have tried to communicate with the Fat but had no success. I will go to animal teacher page and try there.
6 No, not this week. -
1. Meditate!
This week has been strange. I felt very sleepy during the days and evenings. I overslept in the mornings… I have read that on the 15th of May, the energies will shift and everybody must feel better. I think my body must be a week late (hopefully 🤣). So I have meditated but much shorter periods due to sleepiness.
2. Practice!
I have practiced AC particularly during the call, but again more practice with energy healing.
3. Celebrate!
I celebrate “Like attracts like”! 😄 I am happy that it seems I meet more people having same love for animals as I do.
4. Questions and/or Discoveries!
Is it recommended or not to have a time when we should stop learning, and leave all information to settle?
5. Featured Animal Teacher! Communicating with our FAT provides the opportunity for fast feedback to enhance your learning and grow your animal communication skills.
I did get something short during the call, but my cats insisted so much to get in the room I was at that time, that I have lost the connection. I will post for Nita to see, as I suppose she can’t have too many comments on what I got 🤣
6. Intuition Development Games! To find Club Membership resources click on the menu My Course > Platinum/Gold/Silver Membership > Intuitive Development Games
I have played with my nephew with some m&m’s but I stopped after 6 guessing. This time I was half right! 😊
1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?
Nearly every morning for about 15 minutes: Chakra Balancing Tones, complete stillness, Guided heart opening meditation, different guided meditations (Sonia Choquette, Rosalie Yoga, Throat chakra sounds).
2. What is the name (or species) of the animal with whom you communicated this week? What did you talk about? What did you assist with or learn from the experience?
I connected with my cat Bootsy. I asked her how she feels about Panther, our ‘outside’ cat. She was a bit annoyed, defensive, saying he is arrogant and big. He needs to stay in his own place, over there, not trying to take my place.
I asked her if she has any advice for me. She says I am beautiful and should not ‘hide’ myself. It might be time to meet someone again. That surrounds me with love and honours me. But you know I might have less time for you then I tell her. She says this is what I deserve.
I ask her how she feels about me and I feel a deep sensation between my belly and chest. A soul connection. I tell her I feel it too. Were we connected in a previous life? I think the answer is yes. She sometimes makes me think of a horse because she has the same scary reactions about anything new – quite funny. I see a young boy in the grass. I am excited to talk to her more often and ask her lots of questions.3. Name one thing you want to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week.
I keep trying and keep enjoying this endless journey. I am looking forward to my ‘earned’ talk with Val through these accountability questions.
4. What questions do you have about communicating with animals this week? What discoveries did you have?
I don’t have any particular question at this moment. I wonder if I might have a bit of claircognizance or if they are just my thoughts.
5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If not, why not? If so, what happened (give us an overview of the conversation)? If you did, remember to post what you got in the Discussion with that animal if you have not already done so.
During our Q&A call I got that Blackie was communicating through feelings. He was very excited for the meeting and was licking me, giving a few barks. He felt gratitude and appreciation and was amazed to see us all gathered around him.
I find it hard to connect while listening to Val’s various possible questions as she guides us. A few things I got were: gentle, good listener, obedient, old soul, likes ? – Food :)) That seemed to be the correct answer!
Also I felt like the basic root chakra could use some more energy, it might be a little bit depleted.6. This week did you practice Intuition Development exercises? If so, which one? If not, what did you do this week to practice growing your intuition for easier connection and communication with animals?
I have been practicing siting completely still for a few minutes only focusing on my senses. I keep my body and gaze still, focusing mostly on what I hear and what I can feel. It definitely makes me feel more connected.
Hi Mascha,
Everything you got about Blackie is very accurate….specially liking (to put it mildly!!) food….any kind, any time!!
Thanks for the insight on his basic chakra…Will certainly check and rectify it.
Love from both of us.
1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you? Yes, I found myself meditating without trying which has been happening lately! It’s PAWsome! I meditated with Nature. I meditated with a private meditation recording I did with Val. I also did mantra meditation.
2. What is the name (or species) of the animal with whom you communicated this week? What did you talk about? What did you assist with or learn from the experience? Serenity and Hawkeye. I don’t remember specifically what we talk about. I remember though that I knew Hawkeye completely got the communication by his action.
I talked with the cat who lives at the store I get my cats’ food from. He got a bit out of sorts with me and the person who runs the store. It was largely because he was trying to help me become more present and trying to get the person who runs the store to also help me.
I talked with a puppy who is a foster right now and came from a Native American Indian reservation who has some issues-some with past life stuff, and other issues. I talked with squirrels and birds also.3. Name one thing you want to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week. Healing and their part in it. I am grateful beyond any words to my animals as well as the cat at the cat food store who is a true buddy, true friend to me and I believe has another role in my life. I am also grateful beyond words to the cat (my friend) of the guy (my friend) who lives in my building, and so many other animals for how they help me. I have infinite and eternal gratitude for all my animals regardless of form and species.
4. What questions do you have about communicating with animals this week? What discoveries did you have? Nothing new.
5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If not, why not? If so, what happened (give us an overview of the conversation)? If you did, remember to post what you got in the Discussion with that animal if you have not already done so. I did during the call last weekend. I posted about it. Next time I talk I will also post.
6. This week did you practice Intuition Development exercises? If so, which one? If not, what did you do this week to practice growing your intuition for easier connection and communication with animals? I continue to do lean in lean out. I have gotten different answers before sometimes. I also tested energetically how a food felt to my body. I also felt in my body how it felt in regards to food it needed. I have continued getting communication in numbers from those on the Other Side. At times the communication comes in names and letters as well.
1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?
I did. Every day, but one. Had pre-op testing for outpt. surgery Wed, so it’s been a little hectic. Did an incredible brain regeneration meditation today that was absolutely blissful.
2. What is the name (or species) of the animal with whom you communicated this week? What did you talk about? What did you assist with or learn from the experience?
Continued with Leo’s healing. Remote and live sessions. Talked him into eating a liquid digestive supplement that I give my cats and he decided he likes it. He is eating very little, but somehow he is still doing his “kitty things” and keeps getting energized. Interestingly enough, he will request going into the “Healing Sarcophagus” during some sessions, and he comes out all energized. It is encrusted with sapphires and gold leaf and has a rather grand entry point in the front that raises up and down. Makes me laugh
3. Name one thing you want to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week.
My kitties are all very content right now. They are quite happy with all my current selfishness and self care
And a couple of people think I have Super Powers
4. What questions do you have about communicating with animals this week? What discoveries did you have?
A couple things, but I have to wrap this up right now. Have to save until next week.
One thing really hit home this week. There is absolutely no point in trying to convert a skeptic to AC and Energy Healing. And I really just don’t even try. But if they end up being converted, by an experience, it is exponentially more gratifying, than if I had tried.5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If not, why not? If so, what happened (give us an overview of the conversation)? If you did, remember to post what you got in the Discussion with that animal if you have not already done so.
Only on the call. Blackie has the most soulful eyes and is such a love. Hopefully this week I’ll have more more time.
6. This week did you practice Intuition Development exercises? If so, which one? If not, what did you do this week to practice growing your intuition for easier connection and communication with animals?
Yes did a new Positive/Negative exercise to determine conditions under which my intuition is the best ( ie. small space vs. large space, hungry vs. sated, night vs. day, before vs. after exercise, etc.) Just started so will report back
1. Did you meditate this week?
Yes, about 10-15 minutes each day. Guided meditation.2. What is the name (or species) of the animal with whom you communicated this week?
Attempted to communicate with the doe who has been frequenting my backyard. She had been coming up near the house and eating plants around the back patio.3. Name one thing you want to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week.
Love connection!4. What questions do you have about communicating with animals this week? What discoveries did you have?
Love conquers all fear!5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)
I haven’t had a chance this week.6.This week did you practice Intuition Development exercises
I used intuition to win at my favorite game. It’s really the only way to win consistently. -
1. Meditation – Yes, each morning with Muse headband, unguided, plus one of Val’s meditations.
2. Animal communications – Yes, communicated with friend’s dog, Mimi, about their moving situation.
3. Celebration – Telepathically spoke to my dog, Ivy, about returning my shoe so we could go on a walk. That worked so much better than trying to chase her.
4. What discoveries did you make? – I can do this!
5. FAT – no, I am still traveling around the site and finding treasures.
6. Intuition Development – yes, I continue working with the cards and am getting better results. I am guessing outcomes on Married at First Sight, also if traffic lights will turn green in time to keep moving.
1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?
Every night except one this week. Soul Malas Healing Meditation music 10-30 minutes each time.
2. What is the name (or species) of the animal with whom you communicated this week? What did you talk about? What did you assist with or learn from the experience?
My kitties. I posted on the FB page in more detail, but kitties need flea collars due to a flea infestation. Boo protested by growling at me, but at the same time she was purring as I put hers on. Shadow didn’t protest much at all. Scooter was a hard NO!! I’ve tried explaining to him that it will stop his itchies, but either I’m not getting through or he has a reason for his response. Looking forward to what anyone can find out from him.
3. Name one thing you want to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week.
Nothing new.
4. What questions do you have about communicating with animals this week? What discoveries did you have?
Attempted. No response received.
6. This week did you practice Intuition Development exercises? If so, which one? If not, what did you do this week to practice growing your intuition for easier connection and communication with animals?
No time. Always trying to listen for intuition to come to me when needed.
For meditation I have done some guided meditations off of YouTube. Tons to choose from there!
I have been reaching out to try to connect with birds in our yard, they are happy because it is spring, but I haven’t gotten anything beyond that.
Nothing to celebrate (besides warmer weather)
No new questions
Still having enough difficulty connecting with animals I haven’t met that there’s no sense in trying to connect with FAT.
I’ve been paying attention to using intuition in everyday life. It’s great when it works. 🙂Moderator
