One of the most important things to stay on track with your animal communication goals is to be accountable to your journey on a regular basis. To help you with that, once a week please answer these simple questions listed below. Answer them 12 weeks in a row and you’ll have earned your Student Breakthrough Laser Coaching with Val (regularly $125). (game rules below)
This practice is designed to help you become more consciously aware of your journey, to celebrate your successes and share any perceived “failures” so they can be acknowledged, healed and cleared.
Do your best. You cannot copy and paste each week’s answers. They must be unique each week. If we feel you are trying to hack the system and not putting any real effort into this, then you will be asked to try again and if you miss the weekly deadline, you will have to start over with your weekly count.
Remember this is a journey, not a destination. The idea is for you to stay conscious and make progress every week.
NOTE: All students are invited to play, but only Gold and Platinum Club Members are eligible to earn the Accountability private Student Breakthrough Laser Coaching Session Awards.
While only posts answering the 6 Posting Questions (below) count as Accountability Posts, you are welcome to comment on anyone else’s posts. We are here to learn from and inspire each other too! Provide feedback to others and we will learn together.
HERE’S HOW GOLD & PLATINUM MEMBERS EARN YOUR COACHING SESSIONS:
1) Stay Accountable. Each week there will be a new Accountability Discussion for the time period of Saturday through Friday to which you can post any day of the week. You are invited to report on your efforts, progress and frustrations during the week since your last post. You don’t have to have perfect results. It is more important that you are trying, taking action and sharing what’s happening.
Post each week between Saturday and Friday noon (12:00 pm). All posts are automatically time stamped based on Greenwich Mean (GMT) Time so the weekly system time stamp deadline is Friday 5:00 pm GMT. We suggest you don’t wait till the last minute.
Note: The system uses Greenwich Mean Time to keep us harmonized across time zones around the world in all seasons. Remember you can post any day of the week as long as it’s within the designated week. You can check your local time against Greenwich Mean Time using: https://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/converter-classic.html
2) When you’ve completed 12 consecutive weeks of accountability posts you will receive an email from the Coaching Club Moderator with the Subject “Congratulations – you’ve earned a coaching session with Val.” This email will be sent after the new week’s Accountability Discussion has been posted to the Forum. If you miss a week, just start your count over the next week.
3) In the Congratulations email, you’ll receive instructions on how to schedule your Breakthrough Laser Coaching with Val. You can use your time for animal communication coaching, mentoring, healing, and/or Val’s help working with your own animal(s).
4) Beware: You cannot do 12 week’s worth of reporting in 1 week! Having the practice over time will strengthen your Animal Communication intuitive muscles.
POSTING INSTRUCTIONS
Copy these 6 questions into your comment post below and answer them. Then click the SUBMIT button at the bottom.
TIP: To copy the questions, highlight the text and on a PC use ctrl-C (hold down the ctrl key and type a C) OR on a Mac use ⌘Command-C (hold down the ⌘Command key and type a C) then place the cursor in the Reply box and use ctrl-V (OR ⌘Command-V) to paste. We recommend you write them somewhere else, like in word, google docs, or pages, and then copy and paste them into the appropriate Forum discussion thread when you’re done. That way if something glitches with your post, you won’t have to start over from scratch.
1. Meditate! Meditating is important to your progress because it helps you center, making it easier to connect and communicate with animals as well as release the mind chatter and increase your overall calm.
Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?
2. Practice! You are required to practice communicating with at least one animal each week (if you don’t remember the animal’s name, indicate its species). Practicing every week will strengthen and grow your communication skills. It is often easier to communicate with animals other than those in our own family, so start outside your family animals. Visit our Animal Teachers page to find a willing partner and post what you get so their person can give you feedback.
What is the name of the animal with whom you communicated this week? What did you talk about? What did you assist with or learn from the experience?
3. Celebrate! We want to celebrate you and your progress, whether you experienced outstanding success or not. A positive mindset is important so even if you had a rough week or don’t feel like you made much progress, there is always something to appreciate and be grateful for.
Name one thing you want to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week.
4. Questions and/or Discoveries!
What questions do you have about communicating with animals this week? What discoveries did you have?
5. Featured Animal Teacher! Communicating with our FAT provides the opportunity for fast feedback to enhance your learning and grow your animal communication skills. You are required to attempt at least one FAT communication per 4 week period.
Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If not, why not? If so, what happened (give us an overview of the conversation)? If you did, remember to post what you got in the Discussion with that animal if you have not already done so.
6. Intuition Development Games! To find Club Membership resources click on the menu My Course > Platinum/Gold/Silver Membership > Intuitive Development Games
This week did you play one of the Intuition Games? If so, which one? If not, what did you do this week to practice growing your intuition for easier connection and communication with animals?
<><>
That’s it!!
We look forward to reading about your week.
Note: Silver members can Upgrade to Gold or Platinum membership at any time by emailing @ValHeart.com”>Support@ValHeart.com and letting us know your wishes. Put Upgrade in the subject line.
Much love, Barb & Val

I meditated on the live coaching call. I will be doing this more as I practice.
2. What is the name (or species) of the animal with whom you communicated this week? What did you talk about? What did you assist with or learn from the experience? I talked with Katie during the coaching call – I posted in the forum on that. I am working on communicating with Rocky who recently passed and one of her companions Aubie – it is a work in process!
3. Name one thing you want to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week. The coaching call was great!

If you did, remember to post what you got in the Discussion with that animal if you have not already done so. 6. This week did you play one of the Intuition Games? If so, which one? If not, what did you do this week to practice growing your intuition for easier connection and communication with animals?
I read the first article. I think I have some intuition with my pets – I get “feelings” about things that may happen. -

1. Yes, Val’s. I did different ones we did together. I meditated every day. I am not sure of total time.
2.) Serenity and Hawkeye. Also, my mourning dove friend. Also, three dogs in Spirit and two horses in physical body.
3.) having the resonation about my cats and me being on this journey together and if I make a mistake they are with me and forgive me and also learning that even if we don’t make a living change and stay where we are and nothing changes that that is better than constantly being in my head trying to figure things out.
4.) none.
5.) not yet. If I do, I will post.
6.) lots of numbers (mostly 3). It’s perhaps communication from the Other Side telling me something is out if balance. -

1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?
In addition to meditation at church and the call last Saturday, I have been sitting and breathing in the incoming energies. I find my body seems to do this automatically. I have not had this happen since back in the 80s when I was learning to channel.
2. What is the name (or species) of the animal with whom you communicated this week? What did you talk about? What did you assist with or learn from the experience?
Shala (sp?) the service dog for my neighbor Danny. For some reason, she is spending time with a family that has children, a new puppy, and lots of room to run. It seems that she is helping to train the puppy, teaching her or her to dog.
I sensed her concern. She kept asking “Where is Dad?” and I’d assure her that he was home and fine and missing her. She started calling me Mom and I told her I was not her mom, that she does not have a human mom. I told her my name was Margaret and that was too much for her so we settled on Mam.
One time I thought she was telling me that Dad was there. I thought he had gone for her and was bringing her home. I kept waiting for her to some home and she did not. I think she was dreaming.
It is a strange situation. Her Dad keeps expecting her to be brought home and it is not happening. I talked to him this morning and he said she would be brought home today or tomorrow.
I still wonder if I am really hearing her. I have been concerned about her and want to reassure her but don’t really know what is going on. Another neighbor said he had given her away. I saw him this morning and asked and he said he would not give his dog away. He does not have the street address of where she is so cannot go get her.
Strange situation. I’ve been trying to reassure her without always knowing what is going on. I can assure her that her Dad is OK. Her job is to care for him and she is concerned about it. I plan to communicate with her as I can. This has been several communications off and on.
3. Name one thing you want to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week. How easily I connected with Shola – or did I really?
4. What questions do you have about communicating with animals this week? What discoveries did you have?
How can I tell if I am really communicating when an animal I know pops into my head?
5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If not, why not? If so, what happened (give us an overview of the conversation)? If you did, remember to post what you got in the Discussion with that animal if you have not already done so.
Yes, during the call. I posted to the Forum
6. This week did you play one of the Intuition Games? If so, which one? If not, what did you do this week to practice growing your intuition for easier connection and communication with animals? No

Oops – just realized that I did not post to forum what I discussed with the FAT during the call. Don’t remember if I did or what. I had communicated with her prior to the call and posted that to the forum.

I tried to communicate with Stupsi, because I had to cut his nales. something did not work out, because the whole catching was already a desaster. He panically tries to hide behind the couch, I have to unbuild the whole couch. Then I had a friend to help me to hold him. I cut his nales while Stupsi was sitting with big, panic filled eyes. he seemed traumatised afterwards and still hides behind the couch after many days now.

2- I practice with a cat client, Reyna, who pee outside her box from time to time and there was many other issues to address, I did a journey and a healing session and communication. I learned a lot and the cat felt much better but it was more challenging to deal with the person.
Also, practice with a horse, Luna, who will probably be euthanize since she is in pain and cannot work at the therapeutic riding in this condition, I did some healing for her, helping her headache and letting a person know that she did not feel complete yet.3. 1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you? // I did my own, as usual, plus some of Val’s meditations (I can’t get the “move from your head into your heart” one to work for me, having to count my breaths and listen to her feels like it keeps me in my head) on recordings.
2. What is the name (or species) of the animal with whom you communicated this week? What did you talk about? What did you assist with or learn from the experience? // Still trying to show my kitty Kona how to let Dad sleep. They’ve had a couple good nights but not all, I’m not sure if he hears me or not.
3. Name one thing you want to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week. // Sorry, nothing yet. It’s been a very difficult couple of weeks for my family, a beloved Uncle passed away last weekend.
4. What questions do you have about communicating with animals this week? What discoveries did you have? // Same questions as usual, I was disappointed that Val didn’t even read my request for help on Saturday’s call. No discoveries.

I can’t get what I already know out of the equation.

If not, what did you do this week to practice growing your intuition for easier connection and communication with animals? // The intuition games still are not available to me, they have labels that they won’t be available until later dates. Watched and completed 2 Brad Yates tapping videos and. Attempted to be still and quiet for a time, took lot of effort only managed 3 min. Find it difficult to obtain complete stillness
2 What is the name of the animal with whom you communicated this week? What did you talk about? What did you assist with or learn from the experience
Completes a passed over case study. Hattie, a cat, who had lived with guardian for 15 years. Passed over long time ago. Client wanted to know the following e.g. (abbreviated version)
1. What was your life purpose with us To teach her guardian happiness
2. What caused your decline Age . I couldn’t ascertain what caused the decline. Feel disappointed and not good enough. Why didn’t i get the answer
3. Your thoughts and feelings at the time of your passing.
4. Could we have done things differently No You did everything you could
5. We still feel guilt and sadness about what happened, do you forgive us Don’t feel guilty. It was all planned Feel inadequate as didn’t receive what happened to Hattie
6. How are you now Ok Am big black and white fluffy girl cat, master of all I survey. Living the high life in a big house with Sir and Lady Arbroath
7. Are you with Winnie. Winnie is in my world. We are one and together. We will always be so
8. Do you visit us. Yes and watch over you
Learn to listen and dig deeper and then did more again
This statement by the guardian = Hattie has such a traumatic end, that wasn’t our doing and not what we intended
I feel awful as I failed terribly. I didn’t receive information that would have helped or given me more information as to the cause, decline and end of Hattie’s life…… Await feedback from client
Still working on searching for Harley, a cat and Baby, a dog and reuniting him with guardian
3. Name one thing you want to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week.
Very little this week as I failed Hattie – not knowing the cause of Hattie’s decline and what occurred to her before passing over
Celebrate Sat live Q + A even though had missed part of it. Was interesting to have insight to members queries and doubts etc4. What questions do you have about communicating with animals this week? What discoveries did you have?
Why didn’t I receive the information as to reason of Hattie’s decline and what happened at end of her life.. Dug deeper but nothing.
Discovered am not very good at Animal Communications.

I spoke to Katie on the FAT call. See below. I just posted again and haven’t got a response because I only just posted what I got. I’ve been reading more Ted Andrews and watching less TV and am so much happier for it.
4. Name one thing you want to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week.
That I have signed up for another year in the club. So pleased that I managed to plan for it and make it happen.
4. Questions and/or Discoveries!
Still enjoying Barb Grout’s comment: this is more real that the stuff we think is real. And I loved what I read in Ted Andrews: don’t confuse imagination with not real – they aren’t the same thing. So I’m mulling all of this over.
Did you communicate this week with the Fatured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If not, why not? If so, what happened (give us an overview of the conversation)? If you did, remember to post what you got in the Discussion with that animal if you have not already done so.
Yes. I joined the Q&A Call. I also prepared earlier for it with some extra meditation and it made the communication flow. I really am beginning to feel it is such a privilege to be allowed into an animal’s world like that. I’m so grateful. I have posted some more stuff – no feedback yet because I just posted of course. I made sure to include something very specific so that I could get confirmation or otherwise. I find this helpful when I start to doubt myself. I love Katie’s attitude. I’m learning so much. What generosity of spirit.

5. This week did you play one of the Intuition Games? If so, which one? If not, what did you do this week to practice growing your intuition for easier connection and communication with animals?
Well – sort of. I’m reading the Ted Andrews book and am trying to become more aware as a I wander around in the world. Elsa keeps taking me to a particular spot on our walks. I think there must be a reason – there usually is with her. I’m trying to sense the life there and take it all in. This week I will set my goal on doing cards and their colours – something more specific. -

I continue to meditate every day starting with a 10 minute body scan and then continue with various crystal meditations among others. I would like to meditate all day if I could. I also meditate before bed every night, and end up asleep. Morning is way better for me. I also have been spending a lot of time in stillness , alone just being in the moment and listening.
I spoke with a dachshund named Foxy. She told me how happy she is and loves her brother Louis. She also says she gets confused when her mom and dad leave all day now and she doesn’t know when they are coming home. Her dad just recently started going back to the office after working at home since, so this makes sense. Relayed this to her mom.
I listened to 2 more Advanced animal topics recordings and really learned a lot. One being about death and dying. Also listened to the Blueprint for conversations with animals recording
4. Questions and/or Discoveries!
What questions do you have about communicating with animals this week? What discoveries did you have?
I would like to know if an animal transitions and leaves others behind who may mourn their loss, if the animal in spirit ever connects with the living pets to reassure them they are well?
5. Featured Animal Teacher! Communicating with our FAT provides the opportunity for fast feedback to enhance your learning and grow your animal communication skills. You are required to attempt at least one FAT communication per 4 week period.

I did connect with Katie and got pain in the right side of my neck. Can a dogs neck hurt? Also got a pain in my hip. Sent her some Reiki energy healing and felt like it helped.

This week did you play one of the Intuition Games? If so, which one? If not, what did you do this week to practice growing your intuition for easier connection and communication with animals?
I continued to play the deck of cards game, still only about 65% accurate. I also sat and watched the cats and guessed which one was going to get up and leave the room or come to me first. -

After the call on Saturday the 12th I had a progress in getting into the meditative state. Thank you for sending me the good energy and vibrations during the live call! I have practiced every evening. I hope the results will show soon 😊.

Unfortunately, I did not succeed to communicate with anyone. I have sent to one of my dogs a request and he accomplished it, but I feel terrible I did not hear his answer back. I suppose this is not exactly proper communication, if only one talks..
3. Celebrate! We want to celebrate you and your progress, whether you experienced outstanding success or not. A positive mindset is important so even if you had a rough week or don’t feel like you made much progress, there is always something to appreciate and be grateful for.

I have finally succeeded to meditate. I feel happy even though it is a very small step.
4. Questions and/or Discoveries!
What questions do you have about communicating with animals this week? What discoveries did you have?
Is it only to me, or dogs seem easier to approach when we open the communication channel? I feel that cats for example, or more closed, or… more difficult to approach. Comparison made between my own four legged friends. At the same time I have also noticed that when I take a 5 minute break at my work place, and I go visit the princess in form of a dog we have there, Rita, it seems that also the sparrows are coming around. I close my eyes and I tell to Rita, to help me hear her, and sort of embrace a very short meditative state, and I have noticed that since I do that, the birds are not exactly fearful of me anymore.

I am very beginner in this and … though I am ashamed I can not reach the state to actually communicate with Katie yet.

This week did you play one of the Intuition Games? If so, which one? If not, what did you do this week to practice growing your intuition for easier connection and communication with animals?
I did not find actually a game in my courses, but I have read the article about developing the intuition, and I have practiced the first two steps, centering myself, and connecting with the heart. I have discovered that sometimes I feel that the connection with the heart, is creating a sort of vortex inside me. It is very powerful and somehow a little scarry. I had intuitive reactions in the past, when I just knew that I had to see my dog, and I was right. I hope that now that I am exercising to open more my heart the intuition will grow too. -

1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?
Yes I meditate every day. I love to sit quiet, just resting in the space within. And I have been enjoying the yogic breath, golden light meditation as well.
2. What is the name (or species) of the animal with whom you communicated this week? What did you talk about? What did you assist with or learn from the experience?
This week I talked with Blink. He is a Northland horse/pony.
He is a quiet guy, and I see him as an observer and a healer. He loves to be around and observe kids and see how they change around him. He like their touch and innocence. He appreciate nature and to just BE. Very gentle calm personality.
3. Name one thing you want to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week.

4. What questions do you have about communicating with animals this week? What discoveries did you have?
Still not any questions at the moment.
5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If not, why not? If so, what happened (give us an overview of the conversation)? If you did, remember to post what you got in the Discussion with that animal if you have not already done so.

1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you? Yes. I didn’t have to work so much this week so was able to do normal chanting and silent meditations almost every day.
2. What is the name of the animal with whom you communicated this week? What did you talk about? What did you assist with or learn from the experience?
I communicated with Ginnie again – the very traumatised dog who lives down the road. I just didn’t want her to feel forgotten and abandoned. Her guardians don’t believe in it, so I won’t say anything to them. I got the same sensation of frozen in fear – as though her whole body is just tense – and this seems permanent. What it feels to me that she needs is just someone to sit with her and share her space and feelings. So that’s what we did.
3. Name one thing you want to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week.
I want to celebrate the incredible wisdom and understanding of the world that animals are sharing with me. It’s all about Love & joy. And I want to thank them for sticking with my while I learn to make this my reality and let go of all the other stuff that clogs up my mind.
4. Questions and/or Discoveries!
How can I use my difficulty in finding time to make myself more focused?
5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If not, why not? If so, what happened (give us an overview of the conversation)? If you did, remember to post what you got in the Discussion with that animal if you have not already done so.
Yes. Tried to connect with Katie about going to the groomer. I fed back to David – she was still stressed out about going. I will connect back in with her. Maybe I didn’t connect at all.
6. This week did you play one of the Intuition Games? If so, which one? If not, what did you do this week to practice growing your intuition for easier connection and communication with animals?
No. ☹. The plan was to do red/black with the cards. The first step: I found the cards. The second step – to actually practice – I MUST MUST MUST do it tomorrow. -

Niko-my cat in spirit. First time I tried to connect with him. Felt his presence very strongly. I am sure he was instrumental in finding my next kitties. I also went to the pet store and tried to connect with a group of finches. And a group of rabbits. Didn’t get much back but I imagines a convo with them.

Yes. I do a lot of meditation at the moment. I’m working on clearing my field of negative energy, get access to my power, find “my medicine ” the thing I am going to pass on and teach. I’m working on finding a system, of all the abilities I have and learned.
