One of the most important things to stay on track with your animal communication goals is to be accountable to your journey on a regular basis. To help you with that, once a week please answer these simple questions listed below. Answer them 12 weeks in a row and you’ll have earned your Student Breakthrough Laser Coaching with Val (regularly $125). (game rules below)
This practice is designed to help you become more consciously aware of your journey, to celebrate your successes and share any perceived “failures” so they can be acknowledged, healed and cleared.
Do your best. You cannot copy and paste each week’s answers. They must be unique each week. If we feel you are trying to hack the system and not putting any real effort into this, then you will be asked to try again and if you miss the weekly deadline, you will have to start over with your weekly count.
Remember this is a journey, not a destination. The idea is for you to stay conscious and make progress every week.
NOTE: All students are invited to play, but only Gold and Platinum Club Members are eligible to earn the Accountability private Student Breakthrough Laser Coaching Session Awards.
While only posts answering the 6 Posting Questions (below) count as Accountability Posts, you are welcome to comment on anyone else’s posts. We are here to learn from and inspire each other too! Provide feedback to others and we will learn together.
HERE’S HOW GOLD & PLATINUM MEMBERS EARN YOUR COACHING SESSIONS:
1) Stay Accountable. Each week there will be a new Accountability Discussion for the time period of Saturday through Friday to which you can post any day of the week. You are invited to report on your efforts, progress and frustrations during the week since your last post. You don’t have to have perfect results. It is more important that you are trying, taking action and sharing what’s happening.
Post each week between Saturday and Friday noon (12:00 pm). All posts are automatically time stamped based on Greenwich Mean (GMT) Time so the weekly system time stamp deadline is Friday 5:00 pm GMT. We suggest you don’t wait till the last minute.
Note: The system uses Greenwich Mean Time to keep us harmonized across time zones around the world in all seasons. Remember you can post any day of the week as long as it’s within the designated week. You can check your local time against Greenwich Mean Time using: https://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/converter-classic.html
2) When you’ve completed 12 consecutive weeks of accountability posts you will receive an email from the Coaching Club Moderator with the Subject “Congratulations – you’ve earned a coaching session with Val.” This email will be sent after the new week’s Accountability Discussion has been posted to the Forum. If you miss a week, just start your count over the next week.
3) In the Congratulations email, you’ll receive instructions on how to schedule your Breakthrough Laser Coaching with Val. You can use your time for animal communication coaching, mentoring, healing, and/or Val’s help working with your own animal(s).
4) Beware: You cannot do 12 week’s worth of reporting in 1 week! Having the practice over time will strengthen your Animal Communication intuitive muscles.
POSTING INSTRUCTIONS
Copy these 6 questions into your comment post below and answer them. Then click the SUBMIT button at the bottom.
TIP: To copy the questions, highlight the text and on a PC use ctrl-C (hold down the ctrl key and type a C) OR on a Mac use ⌘Command-C (hold down the ⌘Command key and type a C) then place the cursor in the Reply box and use ctrl-V (OR ⌘Command-V) to paste. We recommend you write them somewhere else, like in word, google docs, or pages, and then copy and paste them into the appropriate Forum discussion thread when you’re done. That way if something glitches with your post, you won’t have to start over from scratch.
1. Meditate! Meditating is important to your progress because it helps you center, making it easier to connect and communicate with animals as well as release the mind chatter and increase your overall calm.
Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?
2. Practice! You are required to practice communicating with at least one animal each week (if you don’t remember the animal’s name, indicate its species). Practicing every week will strengthen and grow your communication skills. It is often easier to communicate with animals other than those in our own family, so start outside your family animals. Visit our Animal Teachers page to find a willing partner and post what you get so their person can give you feedback.
What is the name of the animal with whom you communicated this week? What did you talk about? What did you assist with or learn from the experience?
3. Celebrate! We want to celebrate you and your progress, whether you experienced outstanding success or not. A positive mindset is important so even if you had a rough week or don’t feel like you made much progress, there is always something to appreciate and be grateful for.
Name one thing you want to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week.
4. Questions and/or Discoveries!
What questions do you have about communicating with animals this week? What discoveries did you have?
5. Featured Animal Teacher! Communicating with our FAT provides the opportunity for fast feedback to enhance your learning and grow your animal communication skills. You are required to attempt at least one FAT communication per 4 week period.
Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If not, why not? If so, what happened (give us an overview of the conversation)? If you did, remember to post what you got in the Discussion with that animal if you have not already done so.
6. Intuition Development Games! To find Club Membership resources click on the menu My Course > Platinum/Gold/Silver Membership > Intuitive Development Games
This week did you play one of the Intuition Games? If so, which one? If not, what did you do this week to practice growing your intuition for easier connection and communication with animals?

Sukey’s Accountability Week 8: November 13 – 19
Meditate!Among a few other meditations recorded by Val, one day I practiced Val’s Love Meditations 2017 focusing on gratitude (~ 5 minutes) and then continued the meditation on my own. I paid attention to keeping my mind quiet and clear for a total of 20 minutes. I enjoyed how peaceful I felt.
This reminded me of a morning experience decades ago when I was listening to Eckhart Tolle’s The Power of Now. While focusing on quieting my mind for as long as possible (I managed roughly 12 – 20 seconds), I was struck by an undeniable feeling that a leak in my energy had been plugged so that I could actually feel my energy filling up. It was an amazing experience because it made me aware of how much of my vital energy was wasted by my busy mind.
Practice!
I learned from our recent November 13 Q&A Live Call to quiet my mind and open my heart and then ask animals questions, pausing to feel their answers. So, I practiced with the two dogs (Tag & Ziggy) from different households that I took care of this past week. I also altered the wording of my questions to ask for answers as images (what do you see …”) versus verbal answers (what did you hear …”) or knowings (what do you know to be true …”). Although I still didn’t get any answers, I know I need more practice so that’s what I plan on doing. Finally, the good news is that I like the stillness while waiting and listening.
Celebrate!
I was on a walk with one of my favorite dogs that I pet sit, Ziggy, when she flopped herself on the lawn and, while on her back, her head and torso moved back and forth as all four legs wiggled in perfect balanced harmony in the air, giving her whole body a deep massage. I felt my heart open fully and a wide smile overtook my face. Her inner joy filled me with joy.
In this moment, a Boulder police officer was driving by on this quiet street and I saw her face transform into a wide smile as she soaked in Ziggy’s joy. Then our eyes met, connecting our three hearts and I felt like everything positive and wonderful was possible.
So often, I feel a reverence for animals and nature so deeply, my feelings are overshadowed with sadness but, in this moment with Ziggy and the officer, I experienced unadulterated joy, offering me a pure path to access my joyful, open heart.
Note: When Ziggy rose from the ground, she was completely covered in leaves from head to tail. My out loud laughter heightened my inner joy even more.
I wanted to share and celebrate this powerful moment with you because I believe we are surrounded by countless joy filled moments if we are Present enough to feel them and that they can augment our meditation practices to open our hearts before connecting with an animal.
Questions and/or Discoveries!
No questions this week.
As far as Discoveries, see my Celebration experience above.Featured Animal Teacher!
FAT continues to challenge me the most but I was happy to have received some minor information the last two weeks from Kitty & Heath so I’m still riding those small waves of successes.
Intuition Development Games!
I played the Deck of Cards game a total of 8 times on different days … first meditating and then holding a card from a shuffled deck face down between my hands. During my first attempt, I was pretty sure the four of spades was mind generated. When I didn’t get any more information, I looked at the card and it was a six of diamonds. I let it go, knowing I had many more opportunities. The second time I played this game with a new card, my mind was clear and quiet (yay!) but I didn’t get any Clair information.
What was more important to me each time I played was to find what subtilties, consistent clues, or patterns my body was giving me as I held each card between my hands … varying from flashes of images (Clairvoyance … none yet), knowings (Claircognizance … none yet), or how red versus black cards felt (Clairsentience … one red diamond card felt prickly while other red cards felt warmer than the black cards) but no reliable or outstanding patterns have revealed themselves to me yet.
Yours,

1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?
In addition to a few times of sitting quietly holding my crystals, I have experienced multiple group meditations. As always, we had a group meditation during out online church service. I have also experienced 3 zoom calls with Susann Taylor Shier. The first two calls of her current Immersion were last Saturday and last night. I also participated in one of her monthly calls for her membership group.
2. What is the name (or species) of the animal with whom you communicated this week? What did you talk about? What did you assist with or learn from the experience?
Princess, my cat who is in spirit. I asked her if she would like to be FAT. She was with me 3 times as a cat during this lifetime and we had been together multiple times before. She is no longer in the higher dimensions of Earth plane as she has moved on to her next experience in another world. She said she is not connected with Earth much now and I realize her current reality is beyond the understanding of some students. So we agreed that was not a very good idea.
I also connected with the FAT during Val’s call last weekend.
3. Name one thing you want to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week.
I have realized, remembered actually, that I can connect quickly without going through a lot of falderol. When I saw the picture of the FAT during Saturday’s call, I was instantly connected. While Val was doing the initial preparation, he came over and got in my lap and asked what was going on.
4. What questions do you have about communicating with animals this week? What discoveries did you have?
See previous answer re discoveries. No questions just now.
5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If not, why not? If so, what happened (give us an overview of the conversation)? If you did, remember to post what you got in the Discussion with that animal if you have not already done so.
Yes, during the call. See #2 above.
6. This week did you play one of the Intuition Games? If so, which one? If not, what did you do this week to practice growing your intuition for easier connection and communication with animals? No

1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?
Yes, for around 15 minutes, including a couple from Mindful.org and the one from the call-in.
2. What is the name (or species) of the animal with whom you communicated this week? What did you talk about? What did you assist with or learn from the experience?
I tried to communicate with a new “community cat” who is the sibling of the one who spends most of the time in my house (Buddy). He/she (I haven’t determined yet) comes into the kitchen from the garage where they live, and is very vocal. I try to communicate vocally, and have even had an experience where it stared at me and I stared back and I tried to communicate that I wanted to help it any way I could, but I didn’t get a response.
3. Name one thing you want to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week.
I continue to make progress through the beginner course, and cats seem to want to actually communicate with me.
4. What questions do you have about communicating with animals this week? What discoveries did you have?
Why does it seem others are able to connect with animals much easier than I do?
5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If not, why not? If so, what happened (give us an overview of the conversation)? If you did, remember to post what you got in the Discussion with that animal if you have not already done so.
No, but I tried. I feel I just projected thoughts onto Heath but don’t have confidence that I communicated.
6. This week did you play one of the Intuition Games? If so, which one? If not, what did you do this week to practice growing your intuition for easier connection and communication with animals?
I continued working through the Beginning Course, which provides various steps for helping to improve intuition. I am frustrated by the fact that I cannot experience intuition and cannot access the other exercises. It says I cannot access most of them, and will not get access to them all for more than 13 months from now.

1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?
10-30 minutes each night before going to sleep, Soul Malas Healing Meditation music, except for one night I listened to a Ho’Oponopono Deep Cleaning meditation for 30 minutes.
2. What is the name (or species) of the animal with whom you communicated this week? What did you talk about? What did you assist with or learn from the experience?
I’m very sad that my messages arent’ getting across to my deer, or maybe they’re just ignoring me. Hunters have been way too close to my property this week, and I’m missing at least one of my regular deer, maybe more, I’m not sure yet.
3. Name one thing you want to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week.
Nothing to celebrate.
4. What questions do you have about communicating with animals this week? What discoveries did you have?

6. This week did you play one of the Intuition Games? If so, which one? If not, what did you do this week to practice growing your intuition for easier connection and communication with animals?
No time. Open for intuition to come whenever it wants to.

Yes. Appx 10 mins on and off as couldn’t concentrate this week due to being very upset .
2 What is the name of the animal with whom you communicated this week? What did you talk about? What did you assist with or learn from the experience?
Not this week as very stressed and upset – crying etc after conversation with Val who communicated with missing cat Sweetie. I connected with Sweetie continually throughout the week.
Will try and communicate with another animal next week when feeling better3. Name one thing you want to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week.
Had talked to Val who contacted Sweetie, a missing cat. Val gave me an insight of what was happening. From the weekend I could not stop crying and pains in my chest were excruciating. By end of week I felt little better. So celebrate Val communicating with Sweetie
.
4. What questions do you have about communicating with animals this week? What discoveries did you haveCan animals choose themselves to leave their physical bodies before their contract ends, time to depart comes or if not happy in their environment and they want out of a situation
5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If not, why not? If so, what happened (give us an overview of the conversation)? If you did, remember to post what you got in the Discussion with that animal if you have not already done so.
Not yet as too upset this week and worried I’d carry over my emotions onto the communications which wouldn’t do justice to the animal
6. This week did you play one of the Intuition Games? If so, which one? If not, what did you do this week to practice growing your intuition for easier connection and communication animals?
Yes. Tried, but not as much as normal due to stressful and upsetting week. Guessed number, if any, squirrels in a secluded garden when I was out for a quick walk
Overall a very bad week for me

1. Meditations
Yes, during the Q & A, and two other sessions on my own with The Sacred Forest oracle cards.2. Communications

4. Questions
How long do we need to wait until we communicate with an animal after her transition? If an animal has passed for many years, is it still possible to connect with her? How often can we communicate with an animal-in-spirit? Would it disturb her?
5. The Featured Animal
Yes, I connected with Heath during the Q&A live call.
6. The Intuition Games
No. But I do use tarot and oracle decks to practice my intuition.

1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?
Daily meditation on light and sound 30-60 minutes daily.
2. What is the name (or species) of the animal with whom you communicated this week? What did you talk about? What did you assist with or learn from the experience?
1. Buster. Dog. He is very uncomfortable in his body. He said he was from another planet in his last life and really has a difficult time incarnating as a dog on earth. We did some healing on trauma—stuck in the birth canal this lifetime and almost choked to death in another. I gave his person acupressure points for relaxation. I felt in wasn’t totally in the dog’s body so I helped him to feel more grounded and I gave him a energetic mud bath.
2. Tibby, dog in spirit. He left his body in an accident of some kind, all of a sudden. He is now with the angels and sent his mom a message and a healing circle.3. Name one thing you want to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week. It makes me feel so happy when I feel an animal is healing.
4. What questions do you have about communicating with animals this week? What discoveries did you have? I discover I enjoy being in the communications more than in this physical world.
5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If not, why not? If so, what happened (give us an overview of the conversation)? If you did, remember to post what you got in the Discussion with that animal if you have not already done so. Not this week.
6. This week did you play one of the Intuition Games? If so, which one? If not, what did you do this week to practice growing your intuition for easier connection and communication with animals? Continuously connecting to intuition. I found my cards and will work with them this week.

1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?
I usually do the meditation in the mornings this week I was only able to do it four times.
2. What is the name (or species) of the animal with whom you communicated this week? What did you talk about? What did you assist with or learn from the experience?
I was finally able to communicate with my babies. They got their long awaited Magic Goo and are acting pretty spry for old guys. I tried to communicate with Heath but all I was able to get was His fur is incredibly soft and he is young or young acting and very active. I will try again.
3. Name one thing you want to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week.
How hard it is to clear your brain. I’m still not totally sure that I have achieved That state. I don’t really know what that feeling is because their is so much going on in that small area all the time. I get 0-3 hours of sleep every night and yes the brain is very busy. In spite of that still able to get some communication with the animals.
4. What questions do you have about communicating with animals this week? What discoveries did you have?
None
5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If not, why not? If so, what happened (give us an overview of the conversation)? If you did, remember to post what you got in the Discussion with that animal if you have not already done so.
I tried but it was not successful. Couldn’t make a strong connection.
6. This week did you play one of the Intuition Games? If so, which one? If not, what did you do this week to practice growing your intuition for easier connection and communication with animals?
I used to know who was calling before I checked. For some reason That has been temporarily interrupted. So I have been practicing that with some success.
