We are glad you are interested in practicing talking together with an animal!
To get started, greet the animal and ask if they have time to talk with you. Remember that animals also lead busy lives even though we may not see all that they do. If they aren’t available, check back later.
Introduce yourself and explain why you are reaching out to them: that you are a member of the Animal Talk Coaching Club and learning to better communicate with animals and would appreciate their help. You can ask them any questions you want. Typically they do provide a response. Please share your impressions of their personality, energy, how they feel and any insights they may share with you. By sharing what you get, the animal’s person can provide you with feedback and others can jump in too.
Use the Forum SEARCH field (located at the top of the right column above the picture of the Featured Animal Teacher) to find more discussions involving this animal (or other animals with the same name).
Some conversations have been lively, and we’ve learned some amazing insights, and laughed at jokes. Remember that this is a safe place to practice. This is about practice and learning, it is not about getting it perfect. The animals have much to teach us, to share with us and we with them.

Hi Trump, it’s so nice to meet you! My name is Marybeth and I’m a student here. I am doing an intuition exercise and it is to find an animal to ask a question to of “What makes for a great life?”. I was scrolling through the animal teachers and you got my attention. Can I talk with you about this? Is now a good time to talk?
TRUMP: Well yes, my new friend. My name is Trump and I’m delighted to answer this for you. Let me begin by saying that life is good! I’ve seen life come and here here where I live. It’s surreal actually. They say that horses are smart, but do they really know how smart we are? I’m truly talented and smart and I’m so grateful that you asked me this question.
What makes for a great life?
Life is what you wish for. It’s your hopes, your dreams, your thoughts, your fears. All that surrounds you is what you have created for yourself. No one has created it for you. So, be aware of what it is that you truly desire, your purpose, your passion. Let that guide you forward.
My name has some annotations attached to it because of a lot of energy being sent to a human who carries that same name as mine and is in the limelight of the media and the world presently. And although there are many energies flowing around regarding this person, he and I share the same name. BUT, that does not mean that he and I share the same energy. It’s what we both make of our lives, our wants, our desires and our passions.
What is it that you want Marybeth in your life? What is it that makes your heart sing? Let that circulate around you. Go to bed at night asking those questions and allowing the answer to flow to you while your conscious mind sleeps.
What makes for a great life you ask? Life makes for a great life! It’s what we are all given here on earth. It’s a gift. Use it wisely or use it for a hard path. The choice is yours….always.
Love to you, I am Trump. I am love!

Trump feels confident, centered, “discerning” and optimistic. When I connected with him, it felt like he’d been waiting for me to get there, was reading my mind before I found his picture on the forum. I wrote our conversation in my journal and I’ll write it here verbatim. I sometimes get strange phrases when I communicate but they make sense as I reread them.
Trump: Don’t worry! Be happy! TRUST and BELIEVE. You are surrounded by thousands of horses helped. This is about healing horse past abuses/lives lost out of care-less-ness. Not uncaring so much as “unknowing what they do”. Melodie says “what took you so long.” This group can move the project forward with momentum.
Trump, my deepest thanks.
And thank you, Bridget for giving permission for us to speak with Trump.I have a 34-year-old Morgan mare named Melodie. I’ve been a closet animal communicator for–let’s say too long. Over time, she has shown me things and nudged me until I realized that her purpose while here is to make humanity aware of the incredible trauma horses endured during World War I and to help heal that. She tells me this is a group effort, both horses and humans.
So now I’m here. Thank you Bridget and thank you Trump. Thank you Val and this group.
