We are glad you are interested in practicing talking together with an animal!
To get started, greet the animal and ask if they have time to talk with you. Remember that animals also lead busy lives even though we may not see all that they do. If they aren’t available, check back later.
Introduce yourself and explain why you are reaching out to them: that you are a member of the Animal Talk Coaching Club and learning to better communicate with animals and would appreciate their help. You can ask them any questions you want. Typically they do provide a response. Please share your impressions of their personality, energy, how they feel and any insights they may share with you. By sharing what you get, the animal’s person can provide you with feedback and others can jump in too.
Use the Forum SEARCH field (located at the top of the right column above the picture of the Featured Animal Teacher) to find more discussions involving this animal (or other animals with the same name).
Some conversations have been lively, and we’ve learned some amazing insights, and laughed at jokes. Remember that this is a safe place to practice. This is about practice and learning, it is not about getting it perfect. The animals have much to teach us, to share with us and we with them.

Hi Jann and beautiful Alex.
I had a little conversation with Alex and this is what he wanted to say:
I am happy, glad and I dont worry. I am easy going and very wise.
I sit and look out now, I snap with my wings. I feel proud and free. I eat good for five days but not the 6th and 7th.
I ask why?
He says I beleive that all food I receive is good food. I like nuts but not berries. I eat some and leave some. The black seeds are good.
I believe in this wordless discussion it feels good.
Please find out if it is possible to put my cage outside in the angle of the house. It would be lovely to feel the wind under my wings sometimes.
Put a little bit of water in my cup and add some vitamins, minerals, mineral lime and peanuts.
I ask him how he is feeling?
I am training on walking back and forth, after a month I will say more about it.
There is one thing I would like to say: the thread sitting in the cage is sharp to bite on, then I cry sometimes. I yell out loud, screaming: Now I have had enough! I want to come out.
My owner keeps lots of animals, we are her friends. Freedom and joy.
Someone with grey hair is here sometimes giving us food. That is a very good human being.
I eat good during a part of my time and sometimes I eat it all. It is okay.
My wings want to flap. There is a dog barking. Sitting in a cage is not my nature.
Freedome would be great.
So he ends.
He feels comfortable with his life. Happy understanding that he was not born in freedom, but he wishes he was.
LOVE FROM ME BRITT-MARIE
