We are glad you are interested in practicing talking together with an animal!
To get started, greet the animal and ask if they have time to talk with you. Remember that animals also lead busy lives even though we may not see all that they do. If they aren’t available, check back later.
Introduce yourself and explain why you are reaching out to them: that you are a member of the Animal Talk Coaching Club and learning to better communicate with animals and would appreciate their help. You can ask them any questions you want. Typically they do provide a response. Please share your impressions of their personality, energy, how they feel and any insights they may share with you. By sharing what you get, the animal’s person can provide you with feedback and others can jump in too.
Use the Forum SEARCH field (located at the top of the right column below the picture of the Featured Animal Teacher) to find more discussions involving this animal (or other animals with the same name).
Some conversations have been lively, and we’ve learned some amazing insights, and laughed at jokes. Remember that this is a safe place to practice. This is about practice and learning, it is not about getting it perfect. The animals have much to teach us, to share with us and we with them.

Hi Joy, thank you for allowing me to speak with Sadie. Firstly, my sympathies on your loss.
I introduced myself and explained to Sadie that I need her help, as I am a novice but keen to learn to communicate, so I can connect to my girl in spirit as well as the others that I have. She seemed non comital, though at the end her message was to keep practicing.
Sadie comes across as a playful pup who liked chasing butterflies and playing fetch. I see a lot of greenery around, and she says she remembers the good times with you. However, she also seems pensive and thoughtful. Perhaps later she liked peace and quiet and says she was tired. Did she have a stomach issue? She says she has had a good rest and appears to have reincarnated. Unfortunately I did not get any details about this.
Her purpose was to give you and the family support. I thanked her and sent her love.
I look forward to your feedback to see if any of this resonates with you.
Thanks again! -

Sorry I took so ;ong Nita! You are correct about Sadie being tired. She lived to 16 years old. I used a little stroller her last year for arthritis in her back legs. She was such agood happy girl! She and Smokey were very bonded! I miss them both very much! I’m happy to hear she has reincarnated! You did awesome. Oh I had lots of butterf;ies in my backyard and she loved chasing dog toy! I just adopteda new dog yesterday! Hw seems like a combination of Smokey Sadie and SnoopY Very good boy!

Hi Joy,
Thank you so much for your encouraging response….I’m so glad to have got a couple of things right, specially the butterflies!
How blessed you were to have had her for 16 years….but it’s never enough and will be forever missed. I hope to connect with Smokey and Snoopy some day!
So glad to hear you have a new boy now….to help you honor those you miss, and of course enjoy your love and care….bless you both for a great life ahead.
Thanks again and lots of love
