We are glad you are interested in practicing talking together with an animal!
To get started, greet the animal and ask if they have time to talk with you. Remember that animals also lead busy lives even though we may not see all that they do. If they aren’t available, check back later.
Introduce yourself and explain why you are reaching out to them: that you are a member of the Animal Talk Coaching Club and learning to better communicate with animals and would appreciate their help. You can ask them any questions you want. Typically they do provide a response. Please share your impressions of their personality, energy, how they feel and any insights they may share with you. By sharing what you get, the animal’s person can provide you with feedback and others can jump in too.
Use the Forum SEARCH field (located at the top of the right column above the picture of the Featured Animal Teacher) to find more discussions involving this animal (or other animals with the same name).
Some conversations have been lively, and we’ve learned some amazing insights, and laughed at jokes. Remember that this is a safe place to practice. This is about practice and learning, it is not about getting it perfect. The animals have much to teach us, to share with us and we with them.

Hello Mickey,
It’s Barb Grout. I’m in the animal communication club with your mom, Claudia.
I’m learning how to connect with an8mals. Could you help me today?
Mickey: How?
Barb: Listenin. Sending feelings.
Mickey: Ok
Barb: Have you been with Claudia for awhile?
Mickey: (I felt his Gratitude. Thankfulness.) 5 years? We wish we could help her.
(Is he 7?)
Barb: Maybe you can….sending her appreciation is one way.
Mickey: She listens. She cares. So grateful.
Barb: I feel your gratitude. I will pass it onto Claudia. Anything else?
Mickey: I’m safe. I have enough food. I’m happy.
Barb: I feel your peace as well. I also feel your sadness from some other time….
It is before Claudia when you felt lost and alone and hungry. Can I ask my healing guides to help let those feelings go?
Mickey: Nice! (Smile)
So we joined with my guides and St.Francis of Assisi and Mickey wanted Claudia to join us too. I felt warmth in my heart and a connection between us all. I felt Mickey’s heart open up and release some of the childhood scars. He may be slightly more affectionate and want to help you somehow. 🙏🏼 -

January 23, 2019:
I received impression of kangaroo, that Micky likes to jump and for me to jump. I see green aura with some black intrusions but with white light breaking open and repairing the energy field. I received the image of people kissing each other in a french-like greeting on each side of the face. I see a Social household then lots of periods of rest and alone time. I received that Micky is very social, loves to be around other people and animals, but also likes to me in his little cat house, high up on tree or low under an outside stone bench.
Wants to be outside. I saw an image of fish as well as the taste of ham in my mouth; perhaps a treat he likes. I saw a pink squishy toy, brown square carpet, and a striped old carpet square with rough edges on top of another floor. And that this is where he likes to be. Loves Schneeman and other animals in house and around. He is young but with an old man funny humor kind of rye or dry. He mentions an ocean … perhaps a pool pond river or body of water … and/or ocean of snow. image of goldfish too. -

Hi Barb
My apologies for answering so late. I did not receive a notification of your post and overlooked it in the forum. Only saw it now after Angela’s post brought the conversation back up.
Micky is a bit over 4 years old and he is with me since he was a very young boy (about 4-5 months old). I have no idea where he came from and who brought him to me. I found him one evening on my veranda. Someone had put him in a sturdy cardboard box that I had there as shelter for the feral cats and then turned the opening in the box towards the wall so that he could not escape. He had severe flu symptoms. Therefore, I can’t say much about the time before he came to me. But it is very possible he had been mistreated. I am happy you could offer him some healing.
Micky is a happy cat and always very affectionate. In case you co tact him again, please let him know a great way to help me would be to stay out of my feet when I come with multiple plates full of food in my hands 🙂
By the way, he has a nickname: Casanova! That’s because he can’t let the girls alone – it doesn’t matter to him that he is neutered and the girls are spayed and he also doesn’t care that the girls are not really interested.
Thanks for the good job done with my love bug.

Hi Angela,
Thanks for talking to Micky. He enjoys attention of any type. Greeting in a French way is very common here in Cyprus as well. So it is possible he saw this, however before he came to me. In my house he met many other cats and so far 3 dogs, but not many people. But whenever a friend comes to visit, he is happily approaching. Micky is an indoor only cat, but loves to be in the kennel, which in our terminology is outside. There I find him often sleeping in one of the wooden boxes I put up on the first floor. He also likes to climb up high and sit just under the ceiling. As for the stone bench, we have a camping table in the kennel that has a pattern like stones. He often sits under this table. He does like fish and ham, in fact he likes all food, no matter, if it is cat foods, dog food or human food.
To be continued later – have to leave for a short while…..

Hi Angela, here comes the continuation.
For the time being I can’t make sense of the pink squishy toy, maybe something he was batting around, when he was a small kitten?
I have a variety of fabrics in the kennel for the animals to sleep on. One of them is dark brown and one has stripes. As they are on the floor, maybe you interpreted them as carpets. At times, especially when the weather is cold and rainy, Micky joins the other cats on one of those. These pieces of fabric are fairly big. So they can cuddle up and keep each other warm.
He loves the other animals, no matter, if cats or dogs, he gets along with everybody. Just the girls are sometimes angry at him, when he holds them by the scruff and is mounting them, although they are all neutered /spayed. Hence his nickname Casanova.
He is fairly young just over 4 years. And he has a sometimes mildly strange sense of humour. You might want to go back and ask him about the one thing he has mastered doing, which none of the other cats nor dogs can do.
We are living rather close to the ocean (about 3 miles to the nearest beach). Maybe he has seen it from a high tree before he came to me or he was born close to the Sea.
No clue about the goldfish. Again, this could be an image from the time before he got to me.

Hi Klaudia,
I forgot to post my communication with Micky from a couple months ago, regarding what he has mastered, and I lost my notes on it! I will share my memory of it and then share last nights mini checkin. My memory is that when I asked him about what he had mastered, I saw him climbing up way towards just under the ceiling and exiting into another room, and in the process knocking over a litter box. LAST NIGHTS connection: He felt very playful. When I asked about what he had mastered, I received an image of him smiling and showing his teeth in a humorous way. I then saw him climbing. I saw him climb through a sideways black bucket that led to the enclosure? and there was a treat in the bucket? And then escaping enclosure? I will try to tune in again in a few days and see what I get then. THanks!

Hi Angela
I think Micky is giving you metaphors for his skill. Is has to do with escaping from closed rooms and climbing up is part of it, though just to get to his point of interest.
His specialty is not climbing up and squeezing through a gap, though he did this after I installed a door between the kitchen and the utility room. There was a gap of about 10 inches left on top and he squeezed through and visited me in the bedroom to let me know that the door was no handicap for him. The other cats quickly followed his example. In the meantime, I closed the gap and made sure Micky gets no chance to use his special skill either. -

Hi Klaudia. on 5/2 I received an image of a bird, a fishbowl, and vertical rope that he held with his teeth and climbed up and down on? Are birds part of his “skill”? Then on 5/4 I saw an image of a brick wall. I also saw birds again. Hmmm, is this a skill, or something that annoys you!?

Hi Angela,
It has nothing to do with birds. Possibly, he showed you the birds that were just flying around the kennel. Or maybe he used metaphors trying to tell you he gets out of everywhere like a bird flying over walls.
Both. It is a skill, knowing to do something that I have never seen another cat do. And it can be very annoying.
And as I said before, it has to do with getting out of closed rooms. A hint: it is more than just jumping on a door handle and kicking the door open with the hind legs – that is something many cats can do.
Want to try again or you want me to tell you?
