We are glad you are interested in practicing talking together with an animal!
To get started, greet the animal and ask if they have time to talk with you. Remember that animals also lead busy lives even though we may not see all that they do. If they aren’t available, check back later.
Introduce yourself and explain why you are reaching out to them: that you are a member of the Animal Talk Coaching Club and learning to better communicate with animals and would appreciate their help. You can ask them any questions you want. Typically they do provide a response. Please share your impressions of their personality, energy, how they feel and any insights they may share with you. By sharing what you get, the animal’s person can provide you with feedback and others can jump in too.
Use the Forum SEARCH field (located at the top of the right column below the picture of the Featured Animal Teacher) to find more discussions involving this animal (or other animals with the same name).
Some conversations have been lively, and we’ve learned some amazing insights, and laughed at jokes. Remember that this is a safe place to practice. This is about practice and learning, it is not about getting it perfect. The animals have much to teach us, to share with us and we with them.

Hi Lucia,
I am woefully rusty but really want to get back into practicing more regularly. Something about Estella called to me (I think it’s her fluffy and adorable face– I just want to hug her!).
Here’s what I got when I tried to connect today. Estella is curious, playful, silly/naughty (not bad, but likes to push her limits to get a reaction), social, and affectionate. She loves her mom because she is kind. She has her own doggy bed that she sleeps in. Is there a red and black blanket in the home?
Does she get any kind of sausage as a treat? I’m getting the feeling that it’s sausage/hot dogs or something that she loves the most. I didn’t get a clear response on favorite toys, but I pictured her playing tug with someone. Not sure if that was me making it up!
I’ll likely try again later, but would love to hear (at your convenience) if I’m on the right track with anything.
Thanks, Lucia (and Estella)

Hi Erika!
When I saw the email notification, I couldn’t believe it…
Thank you for exercising with Estella!
As you may have noticed on the ATH page she is now fully grown, comparing with the above picture 😸>First, please stop diminishing yourself as to me you don’t seem to be rusty at all!
If this is rusty than… it means you are an absolute master in AC!!!! 🤗Everything you got from her is true. She is very playful as she is only 2 years old. She is somehow a little more than a teenager now, not sure if she wants to be mature or still play.😄
Indeed she likes to push the limit by chewing things like pillows from time to time, or maybe other things that she may reach to take, even though i believe she knows she’s not allowed to.
Most of the time, she is starting to understand when I talk to her that only the chewing toys or sticks we accept for her to chew. 😊
I can’t express my love for her as I can’t find enough words and I was so delighted and happy when she told you that she loves me…
Indeed she has her own bed, but not exactly doggy bed, but our bed transformed especially for her. 🤣
Yes! We have a black and red blanket in the house!!!WOW! Generally we don’t have too many sausages, but exactly today we gave her one!!! Yes, it’s a type of sausage that can be used as a dot-dog too!!!
Her toys are dispersed all over the yard, so it’s hard to say which one she likes most, and YES!!!! she loves to play tug of war!!! and if someone throws the rope away she will bring it back to continue, until her eyes are smiling and tongue is lolling… 😀
She plays more with my husband as the outside temps are not a favorite of mine (😄) as it’s still winter. Now, a piece of advice: go somewhere where you feel comfortable, take a deep breath and yell as aloud as you can: YEEEEEEESSSS! I am a great animal communicator!!!!! Estella confirmed to me today! I can do this, and I will continue to do it!!!!!!💖
I hope this will raise up your confidence and that you will actually stick with it!
Stop doubting, you have done a great/amazing/wonderful job!
Congratulations Erika!Thank you so much for connecting with Estella Esperanza Madelaine!
I am grateful honored and blessed, as I was curious what she thinks of us too.
Thank you!

This is such great news! I haven’t been able to practice much recently (or keep up with my emails), because of a new job, but seeing your feedback was so uplifting. I Did It!!!! 🙂
I will have to check back in with her and I will absolutely continue to practice. Thank you for the wonderful feedback and support! This made my heart happy 💜💜

Hi Erika!
I totally understand what means that life gets in the way! 😊
I remember I have replied to you, but perhaps, as it was from the phone, and it took too much to loead, pehaps the message did not get through when I closed the page. Sorry for that!
You practice when you can, no rush about it.
Thank you so much once more for choosing Estella!
🙏
Much love and light to you and all yours!
💖☀️❤️
