ATH conversation with Natalie S’s Missy

[Moderator]

We are glad you are interested in practicing talking together with an animal!

To get started, greet the animal and ask if they have time to talk with you. Remember that animals also lead busy lives even though we may not see all that they do. If they aren’t available, check back later.

Introduce yourself and explain why you are reaching out to them: that you are a member of the Animal Talk Coaching & Mastery Club and learning to better communicate with animals and would appreciate their help. You can ask them any questions you want. Typically they do provide a response. Please share your impressions of their personality, energy, how they feel and any insights they may share with you. By sharing what you get, the animal’s person can provide you with feedback and others can jump in too.

Use the Forum SEARCH field (located at the top of the right column below the picture of the Featured Animal Teacher) to find more discussions involving this animal (or other animals with the same name).

Some conversations have been lively, and we’ve learned some amazing insights, and laughed at jokes. Remember that this is a safe place to practice. This is about practice and learning, it is not about getting it perfect. The animals have much to teach us, to share with us and we with them.

Hi Natalie! I have horses, too, so I was especially excited to talk to Missy.

She told me I could speak with her, that she had time, and then I explained about the course and that I’m learning to be a better animal communicator. My first impression is that Missy is a gentle soul, but with some spunk and what horse people consider a good sense of humor. She likes to have things done a certain way. I got the impression she likes work on the flat.

I asked Missy what her favorite thing to do was and she totally surprised me: she said “Running off with my rider.” I asked her if she was trying to get them off and she said she only did it halfheartedly, that she wasn’t very fast, so no, she wasn’t trying to get them off, just play with them.

I asked her if she had a message for you, Natalie, and she said, “I love it when she comes and gives me scratches but I don’t like it when she kisses my nose.”

She told me that I need to learn to quiet my mind and body more around horses and to have my intentions clear. She said my own horses love to hang out with me.

I thanked her for letting me practice with her and she said she enjoyed it. People should ask her opinions more often!

My noisy Great Pyrenees dog kept barking while I was connecting with Missy, so I don’t know how accurate my session was. I’ll be interested to hear what you have to say about Missy, Natalie!

Hi Elizabeth, thank you for taking the tine to connect with Missy! Spot on about Missy’s personality, she is a lovely and kind mare, and is also spunky and yes you aren’t the first communicator to describe her as having a sense of humour.

She hasn’t been ridden now for quite some time, but we do in-hand work in the school. She is an ex-event horse so she did used to go go go and I have been getting that from her myself recently which I haven’t for a very long time. I wonder if she feels like she would want to be ridden again.

Most of our time together is spent with me giving her scratches which she absolutely loves. I don’t tend to kiss her nose but sounds like that’s a good thing!

I am glad she was able to give you some good advice.

Hi Natalie!

After Val’s discussion with Rose on the next to last live call, where she talked about Missy, my dog Rose, and me knowing each other in a past life, I’ve wanted to come back to talk to Missy again. I just got the opportunity.

I asked Missy if she remembered the past life and attacking me. She said yes. I wanted to know if I’d hurt or been cruel to her in any way and she said no, she’d just been scared. I asked if she remembered Rose and I got an image of Rose snarling at her and getting kicked.

Missy said was sorry for hurting us. I felt that she needed to hear a Ho’oponopono from me, so I said I was sorry if I’d contributed in any way to her being scared. asked her to forgive me. thanked her for listening, and told her I loved her. Natalie, it was like her energy engulfed me. I felt as if we were both crying. And Rose, who had been growling throughout the whole thing, settled under my desk and went to sleep.

I know there’s no way you can verify any of this, Natalie, but I wanted to share with you. It was such a beautiful experience for me and for Rose!

One thing you might be able to verify is that Missy feels a bit of pain in her back. I didn’t get the impression it was terrible, just minor. Thank you for providing her picture and giving me an opportunity to connect with her! Love to both of you.

Hi Elizabeth,

Wow such a beautiful experience. Whilst I can’t validate, I will say it feels true to me. Also when I went to Missy yesterday she was the most affectionate she has been for a very very long time. I always felt there was something more going on with her, and perhaps this was a missing piece in the puzzle to her wellness.

I am sure she does have back pain, I am glad that it did not seem overly painful for her.

Hi Natalie and Missy!
I have another wonderful experience to share with you. I know this isn’t a practice communication type post that you can validate but Missy shared more wisdom with me, and I wanted to share with you.

On 9/26/24, at around 8pm US Central Time, I was meditating to shamanic drum meditation music and out of the blue, a beautiful brown horse walked into my space and started stomping her front right foot to the beat of the drum. I knew right away it was Missy, there is no mistaking her energy. I was pleasantly surprised and honored that she came to visit ME this time! I don’t yet know why, but I feel so drawn to Missy and her beautiful energy and spirit – and I have never been around horses. 🙂 I was happy to see her, so I welcomed her to join in the meditation with me. We were standing in a quiet wooded space, the same space I went to when I did the masterclass on spirit animals/totems. It was a beautiful place, with mist all around and the mist wrapped around Missy in a very loving way. After a few moments, I started to talk a little with her.

I first told her that I didn’t know why I was so drawn to her spirit. Did I know her before or something? She didn’t use words, but I understood the energetic message clearly – she said, “our souls are aligned, kindred, and that is why you feel close to me”. I asked her if when an animal’s life cycle here is complete, do they have a choice to stay in their divine state and not reincarnate or are they forced to reincarnate. Missy said they have a choice. I asked her if I heard correctly that animals have the choice, and she nodded her head up and down in a yes manner. Her foot started stomping to the drum again.

I asked her why an animal would choose to reincarnate when this world was especially hard for many animals. She said that “animals want to help awaken others. Some of you need us to awaken”. I repeated the message to make sure I received correctly, and she again nodded yes with her head. Missy said that “animals know of divinity, most humans don’t. Only a few humans know about it or are open to receive that knowledge.” I asked if she thinks humans will ever awaken. She then turned her head, looking over her right shoulder, and stared off into the distance. “Not very promising”, is what I heard from her. She said, “many are closed off and hardened, distant from home.” When she said “home”, I knew she meant our divine state. I told her that while I have felt that way too, it still made me sad to know that many people won’t ever be open to knowing their true self. She agreed.

We meditated together for a little longer, then I thanked her for her wonderful wisdom and for sharing that time with me. I told her I loved her and was sending her lots of healing energy to keep her strong. She lowered her head towards me to say goodbye and then she walked away, disappearing in the mist.

Wow. She is amazing. That was quite a deep conversation and happened in a manner I would not have expected. Thank you, Missy, for visiting me and giving me another wonderful gift of your amazing wisdom, it was so wonderful to meditate with you. Thank you, Natalie, for allowing me to spend time with Missy. ❤️

Hi Natalie!
I have been around horses since I was a baby. There are my favorite animals so I was very excited to feel drawn to connect with Missy for the first time as I received a message from my spirit team today that it was time for me to start practicing connecting with animals so here I am. So right away I picked up an excited, full of joy type personality from when I greeted her. I explained that I was a new student practicing and that she was my first animal to connect with on the animal helper page, she excitedly said yes yes to me! First thing I asked her was how was she feeling today and got that she is doing good and that she is happy as well. I asked her if she has anything that she want to share with me and her response was a quick yes. She said to tell my mom that I would like to go for more rides. She said that her mom is extremely busy, that she would like her mom to slow down some and spend more time with her. Missy wants more time with you. She enjoys seeing her mom. She also told me that her favorite activity is going for a ride. Other than that, she said her home life is good. She said that she is fulfilling her purpose. I felt that her role is an Angel. I didn’t pick up anything thru the body scan. I picked up an yellow aura for her. Thank you both Natalie and Missy for the opportunity to connect! Have a great evening!
