ModeratorWe are glad you are interested in practicing talking together with an animal!
To get started, greet the animal and ask if they have time to talk with you. Remember that animals also lead busy lives even though we may not see all that they do. If they aren’t available, check back later.
Introduce yourself and explain why you are reaching out to them: that you are a member of the Animal Talk Coaching & Mastery Club and learning to better communicate with animals and would appreciate their help. You can ask them any questions you want. Typically they do provide a response. Please share your impressions of their personality, energy, how they feel and any insights they may share with you. By sharing what you get, the animal’s person can provide you with feedback and others can jump in too.
Use the Forum SEARCH field (located at the top of the right column above the picture of the Featured Animal Teacher) to find more discussions involving this animal (or other animals with the same name).
Some conversations have been lively, and we’ve learned some amazing insights, and laughed at jokes. Remember that this is a safe place to practice. This is about practice and learning, it is not about getting it perfect. The animals have much to teach us, to share with us and we with them.

Inactive MemberLife, don’t take life so seriously! Chill and enjoy the ride! Don’t believe you have to, or must or that you are obligated! That’s not the truth, but you can chose it as your truth and then it will be real! It’s very important to hang out with the Soave “ in between “ doing and doing even more, When you do, you most often forget how to be, it’s in the BEING, you’re really doing what’s most important for you.
Wolfie: How do you know this? Because cats and most species that are not human are way more connected than humans. Well not all of us are aware of it , but we are still in the space where connection is normal instead of the human way, it’s weird. For us it’s natural , for you it’s “ a thing you need to practice “. Just sayin’ if you guys listened more with your heart you wold be happier, more in tune with IT ALL and happier. Thanks Kitty Cat- so nice to hear your wise words and thank you Kitty Mom for letting me connected with your furry one 💖🙏🏻

Gold MemberDear Sandy,
I had not read the discussions above before trying to do the exercise « becoming one with an animal » with Sweetie. I assumed Sweetie was a lady (?) As I am a beginner student I do hope that the content of what I got is not too far away from the truth:
Sweetie is a lovely cat, likes her comfort, appreciates having nice rests on her favourite spots for relaxing and sleeping when not hunting in the garden and visiting the surroundings of her home. She is not interested in meeting other cats, animals and humans. The animals respect her and leave her alone. But when humans make baby talk with heer and compliment her on her beauty and even try to pet her, she doesn’t like it too much. She likes her food and her home very much and the humans who take care of her. She likes playing with little balls or so which might be attached to a rope. She appreciates it when her human shakes them in front of her paws so she can catch. Her name « Sweetie » is exactly what she is, a bundle of love.
I am looking forward to receiving your reply for which I thank you in advance.-

Gold MemberMany thanks for connecting with Sweetie. You are correct on may counts in regards to Sweetie so well done.
Sweetie is very pretty, lot of people have commented on that, Is a lovely adorable cat, we are soul mates. Likes her comforts. Will sit, sleep or sunbath anywhere in or outside the house.
Likes to hunt and play games. Favourite being a piece of narrow cord I would trail about the house for her to chase
Sweetie visited next door and other people’s gardens as did her 2 fur friends from neighbouring houses. At times all kept a safe distance from each other yet would follow each other in short funny line going somewhere interesting for maybe for treats. She is very wary of people and only trusted me and another human. Doesn’t let people get close, this may be due to another home.
Sweetie loved her food and treats and knew which kitchen unit they were kept and often would come home and sit waiting in front of the unit expecting me to get treats for her.
I named her Sweetie, who adopted when a kitten and lived with me. Given name is Chi by her legal guardians who live a 2 houses from me.
Sweetie went missing 29 Dec 2019 and I’ve been searching ever since, whereas legal guardians have not. It’s a long story in regards to Sweetie, legal guardians’ and me.
I miss her terribly who will be almost 5½ years now. If you would like to connect again with Sweetie as to where located, wants to come back etc then please do
You did a great job and will do well in your studies
Sandy

Gold MemberFeb 17,2022 : Communication with cat SWEETIE
Hi Sandy,
I have made a communicationn with Sweetie yesterday and here is what I got. BUT PLEASE TAKE THIS WITH CAUTION. We have no means to know whether what I got is actually correct!!! since I am a beginner student. Sweetie has been my very first communication. She is very important to me.
Sweetie sleeps on a folded blanket on the floor. The coulours inside are brown and dark orange-red. Looks like a wooden shelter. Not much daylight inside. She doesn’t like her food. It is possible that she can’t go outside (I get no images for outside nor the aspect of her place seen from outside). Sweetie feels lonely but has a friend, and old (black?) woman who is taking care of her. Sweetie likes to climb on her lap and get stroked. She loves it because it makes her feel warm. My impression is that she would truly like to but can’t come home, but she is alive and somebody is taking care of her, so she is at least not alone outside. Sweetie is so sad as well. I encouraged her to try to connect with you and that I was asking you to do the same. So you can be reunited again telepathically and share your thoughts and feelings and alleviate both of your pains.
It might surely be a good idea to get the help of Val who could obtain much more and precise information than me. It may be interesting to know how she got lost and more about the surroundings of the place she lives at which I have got the impression may not be that far from your home. It looks like an area where poor people live. But we need more information to possibly locate her and I am not good at that yet.
I also promised Sweetie that I would come back to her on a later date to have a chat with her to see how she was doing and I am looking forward to it.
By the way when I did the exercice « becoming one with an animal » with her I felt not at all that she was not living with you any more. She showed me that she was happily living at your place and yesterday she showed me that other place she is living at.
hope it helps
take care

Gold MemberHello Sandy,
Today I thought of Sweetie and have tried to have a little chat with her.
I sensed the following:
Straight away Sweetie asked me to send you her love.
Anything she could do for you: tell Sandy that I fondly love her.
She is still in the same place, doing the same work.
She feels a bit tired.
She advised me to believe in future, to relax, not to take it too seriously.
When I asked her what her advice was to learn how to communicate with my own dog,
I sensed “ask Krys”. (I have just made a connection with her dog Luna Bean and when reading her reply I was wondering how she managed to communicate with her own dog so well – Sweetie read in my thoughts!)
Sweetie is concerned not to be able to be reunited with you and she feels really sorry for your sorrow.
I told her that you would understand why she had a new job to do, a new role to play.
I sensed it was her duty to fulfill this new task the universe had entrusted her with.
I have sincerely congratulated her for her bravery.
I ended our chat sending lots of love, hugs and kisses.Kindly
Evelyne

Platinum MemberHi Sandy!
Here is how my conversation went with Sweetie!
As I connected with Sweetie, I immediately felt her gentle, loving, and calm energy. She has a soft, sweet presence and a soft-spoken voice. I sensed that she can be playful but also enjoys being laid-back. She loves companionship, affection, and basking in the sun for long stretches of time. I saw a visual of her playfully rolling on her back from side to side.
I let her start off, and she showed me a toy with a round, tube-like structure and feathers sticking out—something she seems to really enjoy. She shared how much she loves feeling the warmth of the sun and sent me an image of a coffee cup. I got the impression that you may drink your morning coffee outside, and she enjoys being there with you during those peaceful moments. She also mentioned that she loves getting scratches along the sides of her face.
When I asked what else she enjoys, she showed me being outside, soaking in the sunlight and the fresh air. She loves it when you give her extra attention, and also shared a visual of herself looking out the window, bird-watching.
For dislikes, she mentioned she doesn’t like when you’re away for long periods or when she’s not in the comfort of her home during those times—though she said that hasn’t happened in a while. She also showed me an image of barking dogs, and I got the sense that the noise makes her feel uneasy or limits where she can go.
She shared that she’s satisfied with her food and nutrition. I got the impression that she occasionally licks something on the sweeter side—possibly milk—and that she’d love more of that. Her favorite food flavors seem to be tuna and shrimp, and for treats, she enjoys soft, meat-flavored ones.
When I did a body scan, I was drawn to her front paws. She said they’ve been bothering her for a while and rated the discomfort around a 2 or 3 on a scale of 10. I sensed a mild issue with blood flow or circulation—a feeling of constriction in that area. She said that warmth, especially from the sun, helps her feel better.
For special requests, she shared that she’d love more climbing spots indoors and showed me a cat tower near the window. She also expressed that she’d love for you to spend more time outside and enjoy the outdoors with her.
For messages, Sweetie suggested that you take time to breathe in the fresh air. Stay connected to your heart space. When worries arise, tune into your heart and feel gratitude.
P.S. I just glanced over the previous comments after connecting with her and was surprised to hear that she had gone missing. Hopefully, some of this will still resonate with you. She may have shown me what she is experiencing in her new environment or what she remembers from her past with you.

Gold MemberHi.
Sorry for the delay in replying to your unexpected but delightful communications with Sweetie.
Many thanks for connecting with Sweetie, who, although with me for a short time, forever lives in my heart.
You were correct in many aspects of Sweeties and our life together.
You are correct, and glad you felt her gentle, loving, calm energy and sweet presence. She is/was a sweet, playful nature, but her guardians’ family never allowed her to be so. A kind, gentle soul who wanted to give and receive love and affection
Sweetie (Chi is her given name by her legal guardians) enjoyed being in my company and stayed in my home. Often we would sit outside in my plant-filled small patio garden, with the other two cats that also visited – Tabby Princess and Tuxedo Princess. I called them the 3 Amigos as they would walk in a line along the garden fences and paths surrounding our properties. My neighbours and I thought this was ‘cute’ seeing them trot along together and wondering where they visited. These were peaceful, stress-free times for her and me as a source of sanctuary.
The structure and feathers sticking out were a fishing-style toy. She enjoyed playing and catching, which I rewarded with treats.
I always had a cup of tea nearby – so correct – glad she remembers this
All three cats love(d) head, cheek, and ear rubs
I did give her special attention. She was my soul mate and deserved every second of my attention cos the torment derived from her legal guardian’s young children chasing and yelling at her and the home situation..
For dislikes, she mentioned she doesn’t like it when you’re away for long periods or when she’s not in the comfort of her home during those times
She did not like being away from me, nor I from her, for any amount of time. She was not ‘clingy’. My home was a safe place for her, away from her guardian’s home and their tormenting young children. I was her protector; therefore, she spent many hours at her choosing. To visit or stay at my home.
—though she said that hasn’t happened in a while. Sweetie was appx 18 months old when last seen at 1400 on Dec 2019, of which I have no information on who or what happened nor any information on what happened to her after she disappearedI have done everything I could and still do to find her, unlike her legal guardian, who was and still is unresponsive to Sweetie’s disappearance, which raises my and my neighbours’ suspicion that the legal guardian gave Sweetie away
For messages, Sweetie suggested that you take time to breathe in the fresh air. Stay connected to your heart space. When worries arise, tune into your heart and feel gratitude.
Thanks for the message. I think of her every day. Due to searching for her, it led me on the path of Animal Communications – She had found her purpose/job
I had a session years ago with Val, who seemed to think Sweetie was ready to pass.
You did well. I appreciate your time and effort, so thanks. If you’d like to connect again with Sweetie, now you know it’s a tracking case. I can give you more contextMany thanks Take care
Sandy

Platinum MemberThank you for all your detailed feedback! I’m really glad to hear that so much of it resonated with you. How beautiful that she’s the one who guided you onto your path of animal communication.
I haven’t had much practice with tracking cases. If Val sensed Sweetie was ready to pass, that would definitely influence anything I receive. Her energy still came through as very bright, joyful, and radiant either way. ????
