We are glad you are interested in practicing talking together with an animal!
To get started, greet the animal and ask if they have time to talk with you. Remember that animals also lead busy lives even though we may not see all that they do. If they aren’t available, check back later.
Introduce yourself and explain why you are reaching out to them: that you are a member of the Animal Talk Coaching Club and learning to better communicate with animals and would appreciate their help. You can ask them any questions you want. Typically they do provide a response. Please share your impressions of their personality, energy, how they feel and any insights they may share with you. By sharing what you get, the animal’s person can provide you with feedback and others can jump in too.
Use the Forum SEARCH field (located at the top of the right column above the picture of the Featured Animal Teacher) to find more discussions involving this animal (or other animals with the same name).
Some conversations have been lively, and we’ve learned some amazing insights, and laughed at jokes. Remember that this is a safe place to practice. This is about practice and learning, it is not about getting it perfect. The animals have much to teach us, to share with us and we with them. Enjoy!

Last night 2/25/19: My first message was that he feels that life is exciting with all the dogs around and that he feels safe and protected by them, for the most part. I saw him not interacting with the dogs at first and then I saw her paw playfully pawing a dog. Are there horses around? I received an image of horses. He says his main mission is to relax and maintain composure. He says he feels so much love around even with the horsing around. he mentioned that he is close with the hound dog in the animal teacher list; close from a distance. he says the relationship is perfect. I asked if he liked to cuddle and he said yes but not all of the 5? dogs. He says the wilder ones are more like acquaintances. He says he plays with the dog toys and that he only had catnip maybe once, if ever. He says he has a toy mouse. I pictured a farmlike place and he says he loves to be outside though he has slowed down quite a bit. He says he is a little stiff but feeling pretty good all things considered. He says that sometimes he rushes out the door at the wrong time and that sometimes he gets stuck in the garage. I asked him what kind of food he likes. He said anything and everything, keep it coming. He says sometimes he throws up and I wondered if he ate too fast. Then he said sometimes he doesn’t have much of an appetite? He says he would like to hang out on the roof top but that Sharon wouldn’t like that. He says he is currently indoors cuddling and warm, next to Sharon and the sweet dog. “over and out babe” Spontaneously at the end I sent him an reiki pillow of healing.

Aww, thank you so, so much. You certainly did get BoDudley’s essence. I think he tolerates the dogs, most of the time! LOL. He does interact with Cody sometimes, and does lay in my lap with Daisy from time to time. He was pawing at Cody last week.
No, there are no horses here. Maybe Lacero was in on the conversation?
It’s great to know he feels loved.
He hasn’t had catnip much, but every now and then he gets some in his area. I have a kennel set up for him with a cat tree, so he can get away from the dogs, and the dogs won’t get into his food or litter box.
He does have a toy mouse, and it ends up under the refrigerator! LOL
I do live in the country. He is an indoor cat though, although he was born in my barn, and abandoned by his mama. He has darted out a couple of times, and ended up in the garage.
Yes, he does throw up sometimes, and I’m unsure why. He is on a special food, and if he gets a morsel of dog food or anything, it doesn’t agree with him. Thanks for the reiki for him. I’m sure he enjoyed that.
Great job Angela!!! Again, thank you so, so much for connecting with him. I truly appreciate it. I’m so glad he was open with you. Namaste’ -

Hi Sharon. I am brand spankig new at this. Although I consider myself good at reading my own animals, I feel like I need a LOT of practice to get info from others. I saw Bo’s pic and thought I’d give it a try. I don’t get much but here it is.. be brutally honest with me on accuracy so I can know where I stand please!
I heard ‘soft kitty paws’ and he said no, the SOFTEST with emphasis.
He said he was once scared and alone but now he is king.
He likes the dinner that comes on a plate. He also loves cheese.
He likes a particular toy that is perhaps made of canvas type material? It may have feathers on one end.
He hates squirrels and thinks they are annoying.
He wants his own butterfly to play with.
And he hates the clay cat litter in his soft kitty paws.
That’s it 🙂 give him a kiss for me.

Kimberly. Thanks so, so much for talking with Bo Dudley.
You have the essence of Bo down very well.
Yes, he was born in my barn, and was left alone a lot. His mama only had one kitten. So, he probably was scared. When he was about 4 weeks old, it seemed his mama abandoned him, so I took him in. That’s been over 7 years ago now. He gets his special diet kitty food in a metal bowl, but loves to clean any plates that I eat from! He probably does like cheese, but I can’t give him anything, because he gets an upset tummy. And yes, I believe he does think he is King around here! A butterfly huh? How interesting. He does have a toy mouse that is like a canvas fabric. He doesn’t go outside, so not sure about the squirrels. I think you did a great job!!! Namaste’

You’re welcome Angela. I’m sorry about not telling you who Lucero is. I’m also taking another AC course, and the teacher’s equine guide is named Lucero. I call him in when I do sessions with animals.
