–> It’s Time to Practice with the Accountability Game!
Ready to earn special bonus private coaching time with Val? Here’s how:
One of the most important things to help you stay on track with your goals is to be accountable on a regular basis. To help you with that, once a week please answer these simple questions listed below.
This practice is designed to help you become more consciously aware of your journey, to celebrate your successes and share any perceived “failures” so they can be acknowledged, healed and cleared. Mistakes are a necessary part of the journey. There are no right answers here and this is not a test. Just do your best. Doing this exercise will help you improve your skills and be more consciously aware at all times. Remember this is a journey, not a destination. The idea is for you to stay conscious and make progress.
NOTE: All students are invited to play, but only Gold and Platinum Club Members are eligible to earn the Accountability private Coaching Session Awards (value $125).
Here’s how Gold and Platinum Members earn your sessions:
1) Stay Accountable. Each week there will be a new Accountability Discussion for the time period of Saturday through Friday to which you can post any day of the week. You are invited to report on you efforts, progress and frustrations during the week since your last post. You don’t have to have perfect results. It is more important that you are trying, taking action and sharing what’s happening for you.
2) When you’ve completed 12 consecutive weeks of accountability posts you will receive an email from the Coaching Club Moderator with the Subject “Congratulations – you’ve earned a coaching session with Val.” This email will be sent after the new week’s Accountability Discussion has been posted to the Forum. If you miss a week, just start your count over the next week.
3) In the Congratulations email, you’ll receive instructions on how to schedule. Use your time for animal communication mentoring, healing, and/or Val’s help working with your own animal(s).
4) Post each week during the Saturday to Friday timeframe. All posts are automatically time stamped and should align with the appropriate week to apply toward earning a free session with Val. Note: You can’t wait for 3 months then do 12 week’s worth of reporting in 1 week! Having the practice over time will strengthen your Animal Communication intuitive muscles.
MEMBER POSTING INSTRUCTIONS: Just copy these 6 questions into your comment below and answer them. Then click Post.
1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?
2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?
3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week?
4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week?
5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the Featured Animal in the Discussion with that animal if you have not already done so.
6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?
Tip: To copy the questions, highlight the text and type ctrl-C (hold down the ctrl key and type a C) then place the cursor in the Reply box and use ctrl-V to paste.
Remember the weekly posting period runs from Saturday through noon 12:00pm Central (Texas) United States Friday which is the same as 5pm in system time shown at the top of your posts (it is the Universal Time (Greenwich, UK)). You can check your own time using the Time Zone converter at:
https://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/converter-classic.html
Note: Silver members can Upgrade to Gold or Platinum membership at any time by emailing Support@ValHeart.com and letting us know. Put Upgrade in the subject line.
While only posts answering the above questions count as Accountability Posts, you are welcome to comment on anyone else’s posts. We are here to learn from and inspire each other too! Provide feedback to others and we will learn together.
Much love, Barb & Val

Hi @moderator-barb! Is this where we do the accountability for December 7-December 13?
1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you? Yes, I did briefly-maybe five minutes or so. I thanked the Universe for certain things and asked the Universe for certain things. I also checked some of my chakras-I wasn’t sure though of two of the location or colors-there is one below the belly button and one around the pelvis and the color of the pelvis one if orange and the belly button area one is yellow? Anyway, the colors were good I think-the heart chakra was a sea foam green and when to a traffic light green and then a grass green. When I got to the third eye and the crown chakras something interesting happened. When I got to the third eye it was indigo and started out in the third eye area as a diamond shape in the area. Then the bottom pointy part of the diamond shape grew to where the base expanded to cover my jaws-like a big diamond was sitting in my face. The top part expanded, too, and I think most of my head became indigo with the large diamond shape sitting in it. Not long after I got to the crown chakra it white swirls started slowly floating around in a circular motion and some small lavender flowers appeared.
2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not? Yes, I asked Serenity about me making Hawkeye an Internet sensation and selling products with him on them. I also without trying to connect with her realized she really needed some lovin’-pettin-attention time 🙂 Also, @val-heart-2, a little high five time here: I have been soaking my feet in warm water and epsom salt lately for something involving my feet. Hawkeye has been very interested in what I’m doing-particularly when I’m preparing it. I remembered what you said about cats being amused by what humans do and also about the fact that animals can be guides, teachers, healers, and/or angels. I’ve always known that cats get curious and like to check out what we’re doing and have always referred to cats as “helping” when they check out what humans are doing or get into whatever a human is doing. From what you said and what Hawkeye does, I realized that me preparing to soak my feet and then soaking my feet is amusing to him. Not only is he curious, but he’s learning! I have also determined that one of the roles in his current lifetime is to be a helper! Part of what he’s doing when he checks out what I’m doing is to see if he can be of help! He also like to play with the chunks of epsom salt-he’s a free spirit, loves to play, and I think learns through playing sometimes. Maybe this lifetime is partly meant for learning for him, Serenity, and all souls!
3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week? Realizations I made that I mentioned above 🙂
4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week? Nothing new.
5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the Featured Animal in the Discussion with that animal if you have not already done so. I hope to over the weekend. When I do I will post for Patricia to see the communication. I saw his picture and got a sense that he was very inquisitive and “Pistol” came to me. I think Pistol is the name of Patricia’s other kitty.
6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not? Not yet, but I hope to this weekend. When I do I will post about it.

Hi Martha, The thread for the Accountability for Dec 7-13 was a bit further down the list of Forum topics and hadn’t yet linked to the menu button on the right hand side. I’ll move your post over for you. Great job on getting an early start to posting early in the week.

1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?
******Yes. I meditated every day. One hour long walking meditation. Each day Sedona release meditations, also some of the meditations in the platinum lessons‘Barometers of our Souls’
*****
2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not? ****** Yes. I connected and talked with my boy Jasper several times a day. I attempted to connect with my snake friend but he was absent at the time. A flock of guinea fowl came charging towards me whilst I was at a client’s home. Very clear connection – absolutely lovely – but I couldn’t talk then because I was working with the puppies and the children. Also my friends cat Loki. See below. *****3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week?**** The best communication with my friends cat Loki. Long story. Had helped with my friend with her dogs over many years. She’d mentioned a while ago that one of the three cats didn’t like the cat enclosure and the other two beat her up in there. She recently said her husband had shifted the enclosure to the other side of the yard. I immediately connected with the cats and said to my friend how much happier they were and how much lighter the energy was. She sent me a video of Loki enjoying rolling around the enclosure. Loki and I connected and she said “Now I don’t have to deal with the nasty man anymore!” I asked which man she meant. Was it the man next door? And she said “No, the man in the sky” and then she lost interest because she was enjoying herself so much in the enclosure. That’s the clearest conversation I’ve had with a cat to date. *****
4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week?**** Some frustrating times with Jasper. We’re still sorting out who’s job it is to protect on walks. I really have to focus in my heart and listen to what he has to say rather than just telling him what I want. *****
5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the Featured Animal in the Discussion with that animal if you have not already done so.****. No. Not yet ******
6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not? ***. No I didn’t. But I am paying more attention to my intuition especially in relation to friends, things on the stove etc ****
Thanks xx

1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you? Yes. I find I meditate even when working and walking. Officially I set my space for meditation on light and sound 15-45 minutes every morning and before bed. I have started reading the simple meditation and relaxation book and pick a short one before every animal reading.
2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?
Yes. Lilly: a cat—number one cat— meowing and wanting to go out at odd times. I connected with her and she said she was guarding her house and keeping it safe. I found these entities just outside who were lost and looking for the portal to return home. We found the portal but it was shut. I said let’s wait patiently and finally it opened very briefly but I think they were able to get through. She is much calmer now.
Winnie: I had another discussion and heard her point of view more in depth ie. The noises and being frightened. I’ll post whether it helped next time there is a storm.
Priscilla: she won’t eat her dog food. I told her that it would keep her healthy as it had good vitamins and minerals so she can keep on doing her job being my sons guardian angel in good health. She ate much of her food last night when nobody was looking.3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week? I started daily meditation readings and daily noticing what I’m grateful for.
4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week? Self-confidence continues to be the biggest issue.
5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the Featured Animal in the Discussion with that animal if you have not already done so. Yes.
6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not? Not this week as the time flew by.

Tina is finally not reacting negatively
about the baby. She talked with Barb
and had a great conversation where she really felt heard. I am giving her special attention and telling her stories about how I was jealous of my brother too when he came.
Tina liked hearing the story and has stopped acting out.4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week?

1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?
Not much dedicated meditation, but staying present as much as possible during the day.2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?
One of the kittens got very sick. All 6 had diarrhoea, but she was extreme. So after she did not change after deworming and a round of tablets, I took her to the vet for injections. Her belly got blown up and she was very lethargic. She reminded me very much of a kitten I had some years ago, who died from FIP when she was just 4 months old. So I asked her, if she was preparing to transition. She told me no, she was in pain, her abdomen hurt and the skin on her back end was burning like fire, but she was determined to fight and get better again. By now she is getting more lively again and her skin recovered. So we will finish her treatment tomorrow and then watch how she develops.3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week?
That I could discuss with Sarabi, the kitten, how she feels. Without this we possibly would have put her down.4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week?
Huge time constraints. At present it is worse than ever.5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the Featured Animal in the Discussion with that animal if you have not already done so.
No6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?
No games, but I listen more and more to my intuition in my daily life and the results are encouraging.5/12

1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?
Yes, I did Val’s gratitude meditation three times (from the last Q & A call). I wasn’t able to be on the call this time but listened to the recording afterwards.
2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?
I spent some quiet moments connecting with my cat Tiki. I checked in to see how he was feeling both physically and mentally. He was feeling tired but he told me he felt very calm and loved. He also told me that my dog Chino ( in spirit) has been present.
3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week?
This week I celebrate that I was able to listen to the recording of the Q & A call the following day (since I was working at the time of the call).
4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week?
The challenge I had this week was that I worked long hours again without a day off. It was challenging to find pockets of time to practice where my mind was alert enough to do so.
5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results.
Yes, I did but I didn’t post my results yet.
6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?
I did not this week due to lack of time.

1. MEDITATION: AM/PM meditation daily.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
2. CONNECTING TO AN ANIMAL:
Ava the cat: I asked her what she loves and she showed me her food bowl by pushing it into the middle of the living room floor (never did that before!) and then going to her massage table as if to say “And I love my brushing and grooming”. I tell Ava’s owner she’s one smart cat!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Ginger, client’s elderly dog: I could feel her growing weaker. Today her owner let me know she was fading, exhibiting behaviors of her life waning. Very sad, but she is much loved.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Others: my horse Hattie. She’s bored but we aren’t moving til Spring so we’re making the most of a less than ideal situation and I’m thinking of a supplemental caretaker to give her more positive experiences every week.
`~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
3. CELEBRATIONS: I talk to a little mini pony who lives across the barn aisle from my horse, Hattie. The pony (MilkyWay) has begun greeting me with the sweetest little whinny you’ve ever heard and she asks politely for a treat. She’s getting “chatty”!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
4. CHALLENGES: Several animal abuse issues came to light this week relative to horses. I find it challenging to handle that in terms of prevention, punishment of the perpetrators, etc. So much to do; so little time.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
5. FEATURED ANIMAL: During the Q&A session on Saturday, he showed me how he loved “airborne creatures” which I took to be small birds, butterflies, insects, rather than the usual gophers, mice, rodents, etc. and saw a conglomeration of flying colors HE liked to observe. He seemed to always look UP as a pose and a preferred place to find interesting things happening. That so contradicts my image of cats digging, snooping, batting a mouse, but if you think about it, cats love TREES, and climbing, etc. VERY INTERESTING!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
6. GAMES: Yes – love using playing cards. I also often pull one card and intuit how the day will progress then check the actual to the forecast. Very helpful! -

Accountability questions 14 to 20Dec19
1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?
********** Yes I did meditate every morning and often just before bed. Connecting with Source meditations and also clearing and protection meditations. Asking Angelic entities for assistance with issues in the world etc. Only one walking meditation this week- too hot here and bush not safe. Also did guided meditations with Vals teachings.2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?
****** Yes. Actually did my first formal consult with a friends three dogs, one of whom was in spirit. They were all so clear about what their issues were and what they wanted. Hugely helpful to them and their owner. Also a cat who had recently passed to a snake bite. Her owner posted on Facebook and boy did she come in strongly when I gazed at her pic. Several conversations with my Jasper.3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week?
********* Just how amazing this new journey is. It feels so right. Am just about to purchase the Advanced Course. Yay!4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week?
********* I’m still making mistakes in my communication with Jasper. I tend to parent rather than listen to what he needs to say. It’s often in the heat of the moment when we’re out walking. A work in progress.5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the Featured Animal in the Discussion with that animal if you have not already done so.
****** Yes I had great pleasure connecting with Sky this week. I posted my experiences in the discussion.6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?
******* No I didn’t. Still to get to these. -

1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you? Yes, I meditated. One time was 23 minutes or so taking in breaths and imagining them opening up my chakras and tried to imagine the root chakra being red, but I dozed off.
I meditated other times I think but not sure how long-worked on chakra colors.
I also guess it would have been considered briefly meditating when I closed my eyes while petting Serenity and without trying, and without it even coming to my mind to do so, I saw our energies (mine and Serenity’s) merging together and we became one. “We became one,” lead me to the realization that our soul is energy, too. I love how Serenity and I became one for a moment!
I also imagined my hand sort of going inside her where we were connected, too.2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not? Yes, my cat. There was something that I knew Serenity understood because of what she did after what I said/asked, but I don’t remember the details.
I wasn’t trying to connect with Elsa (after I saw Rosemary’s post) and I’m not sure if Elsa was connecting with me. I hope to connect with her though involving the post from Rosemary. Anyway, I got that @rosemary-mckisack, I got that Elsa might have something going on with her chakras or that you might or that she’s perhaps adjusting to changes or responding to something you’re going through emotionally.3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week? Serenity and I becoming one 🙂
Yes, and I posted for Patricia to see the communication.
6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not? red or black: 6 right out of 10-I also hadn’t been keeping track of how many card I had guessed and BEFORE counting them I guessed 10!! 🙂 suit:2 out of 2. face or no face: I guess with the rest of the deck-3 I wasn’t sure whether to put them in the pile I got right or the one I got wrong because I got the feeling/was thinking they were face cards (which they were_ but I said in my mind that they were not face cards. This was a great learning experience for me in terms of trusting my intuitive/psychic feelings, for lack of a better word, that I get! With those cards I noticed particular sensations or whatever it is that they’d be called-I’m not sure exactly what they’d be called. I also might have put some cards in the wrong pile that I actually got right. So, for the face or no face cards, I got at least 29 (plus the three that I said no face when I felt that they were face-so 32 right I guess,out of 40-possibly more right. Outside of the three right face cards I mentioned, I got other face cards right, too! WOO HOO!!!!!
I experienced something really extraordinary, powerful, great, valuable, essential, and integral when I guessed those three face cards I mentioned-the feelings I got were very important in learning to trust my intuition and psychicness!-

4 days of 1 hr morning meditation and Falun Gong, and 3 days of shorter 18-25 min sessions. I too have been listening to guided meditation from Insight Timer at night before bed.
2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not? Attempted to speak more with Luna, but this week has been really weird for me with all this Christmas stuff needing to be done.3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week?
To celebrate my continuing mediations
4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week?
My preoccupations with work, family, holiday and stress it produces in me.
5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the Featured Animal in the Discussion with that animal if you have not already done so.
I did only on Saturday, will try again this weekend
6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not? NoPam, Pammie, Pammie Jean, Pamela.... you can call me any of these names.

1. MEDITATION: TYPES, TIMES
–S 12/14 gratitude meditation during Gold-Platinum call.
–Attempts to learn more about Raven (male cat) in Akashic Records; the librarian changed to the elegant secretary with a French twist hairstyle in 77 Sunset Strip (a detective tv show in the late 50s/early 60s–hadn’t thought of her in many decades); didn’t get help about Raven.
–Breath awareness for a few minutes each throughout the week before attempts to tell Raven about the laser session with Val–to feel free to complain about conditions here that frustrate him.
2. INTENTION TO COMMUNICATE
Mostly with Raven. I am so grateful for him but have been distracted; need to declutter mind, Mac, and house in the new year/new decade. Need for both spontaneous and planned dates with him.
Often during the day I seem to see a shadow of a cat or feel that one is near and greet him or her by name.
3. CELEBRATE
Laser session this morning with Val about Raven: what he needs for physical and emotional improvement.
4. CHALLENGES, QUESTIONS
The usual: to get clear with Hollow Body and other meditations so that I can receive messages and intuitions. Always too occupied reading online articles or books (e.g., Stephen Greenblatt on the Adam and Eve myth).
I wish I could still believe that when this sentence on Earth ends, I will join my animal companions in the same form as we’ve had together this lifetime, but we’d be all together forever without any earthly problems. It is extremely depressing to think that we might be dispersed and in different bodies.
5. FAT COMMUNICATION
Didn’t get anything about Patricia R’s Sky-in-spirit during the call. Daily looked at his photo but didn’t connect.
6. INTUITIVE GAMES
This wasn’t a game but it was strange. I woke up one night because I heard the pocket door to my bedroom opening and closing several times. The cats can’t do that, but I don’t know whether one or both were in bed with me. They have black fur and the blanket is dark; obviously have to put a light-color blanket on top so I can see them.
I opened my eyes (don’t know if that was physically or mentally) and saw more light when the door was “open.” Was someone in the house? I couldn’t get up because it would hurt my leg too much, so I turned on the CD player to listen to lectures. BTW, Robert Greenberg’s Lecture 18 on Albeniz’s Iberia in The 23 Greatest Solo Piano Works from The Great Courses company is great for evoking Spain.
When I awoke in the morning, the door was open and there was no evidence of anyone else in the house. I haven’t had an experience like that since junior high when an impression of a man writing with a scratchy pen at my desk used to wake me up some nights.
WHEN I CLICKED “SUBMIT,” THE SCREEN CHANGED TO THE LOG-IN SCREEN. THIS POSTING WOULD HAVE BEEN LOST IF I HADN’T DONE A COPY-PASTE!

1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?
I usually have a scheduled hour in the morning (which I sometimes don’t manage) but this week has been thrown out by Elsa’s illness. So while I kept a minimum going, it wasn’t regular. I did do some chanting trying to bring Elsa’s consciousness in to share it with me. She always leaves the room when I chant – I think she doesn’t like the noise.2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not? I was trying to connect with Elsa but I think I was so emotionally involved that I kept imagining terrible things that just were so way off.
3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week? I found the courage to ask for help in the facebook forum.
4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week? Taking myself seriously – taking what I think is important seriously. That’s the message from this week!
5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the Featured Animal in the Discussion with that animal if you have not already done so. Very briefly – but I’m going to try again this week so I won’t post here.
6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not? I think |I’ve been makng myself continue with the marbles – cards I think will suit me better so I will switch. Hopefully I wont be so avoiding of them then.

1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you? I’m doing a bit better so far as meditations go. My church has started a meditation group before the service on Sunday. So by participating in that group as well as the meditation during the service, I have two meditations Sunday morning. Total time about 20-25 minutes. I am also meditating at night when I have difficulty getting to sleep. The problem with that is if I do it before going to bed, I fall asleep in my chair and wake myself up getting to bed later. My intention remains to do better and I am doing better.
2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not? I sometimes communicate with my former cat Princess who is in spirit. This morning I had an interesting communication with Roxy. He has developed the practice of knocking stuff off my computer table when he wants more food. I feed them and if they want it they may have more. I told him we needed to find a better way to communicate than knocking the mouse and other objects into the floor.
This morning after I fed them and both went away without asking for more by hanging around after cleaning their plates, he lay down in the corner of the living room and stared at me. I mean he was just looking at me for a long time. I tried to tune into him to see what was wrong. I patted my lap inviting him for lap time, but he was not interested. I checked the bathtub to see if he had peed there which is out signal that he has urinary problems but no. I scooped both litter boxes in case that was what he wanted. But when I came back to my chair he was still sitting in the corner staring at me. We’d already had some play time.
Finally I asked him if he wanted some more – they both love more – and he came to the kitchen and ate some more. I think he was trying to find a better way to communicate than to knock stuff in the floor.
3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week? I was glad to check in briefly with Princess and for the exercise with Roxy re asking for more.
4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week? None
5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the Featured Animal in the Discussion with that animal if you have not already done so. I connected with the FAT during the call asking if she knew Princess and if Princess wanted to be FAT. I got yes to both and doubted it was real – maybe I just made it up.
6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not? No – no games.
