–> It’s Time to Practice with the Accountability Game!
Ready to earn special bonus private coaching time with Val? Here’s how:
One of the most important things to help you stay on track with your goals is to be accountable on a regular basis. To help you with that, once a week please answer these simple questions listed below.
This practice is designed to help you become more consciously aware of your journey, to celebrate your successes and share any perceived “failures” so they can be acknowledged, healed and cleared. Mistakes are a necessary part of the journey. There are no right answers here and this is not a test. Just do your best. Doing this exercise will help you improve your skills and be more consciously aware at all times. Remember this is a journey, not a destination. The idea is for you to stay conscious and make progress.
NOTE: All students are invited to play, but only Gold and Platinum Club Members are eligible to earn the Accountability private Coaching Session Awards (value $125).
Here’s how Gold and Platinum Members earn your sessions:
1) Stay Accountable. Each week there will be a new Accountability Discussion for the time period of Saturday through Friday to which you can post any day of the week. You are invited to report on you efforts, progress and frustrations during the week since your last post. You don’t have to have perfect results. It is more important that you are trying, taking action and sharing what’s happening for you.
2) When you’ve completed 12 consecutive weeks of accountability posts you will receive an email from the Coaching Club Moderator with the Subject “Congratulations – you’ve earned a coaching session with Val.” This email will be sent after the new week’s Accountability Discussion has been posted to the Forum. If you miss a week, just start your count over the next week.
3) In the Congratulations email, you’ll receive instructions on how to schedule. Use your time for animal communication mentoring, healing, and/or Val’s help working with your own animal(s).
4) Post each week during the Saturday to Friday timeframe. All posts are automatically time stamped and should align with the appropriate week to apply toward earning a free session with Val. Note: You can’t wait for 3 months then do 12 week’s worth of reporting in 1 week! Having the practice over time will strengthen your Animal Communication intuitive muscles.
MEMBER POSTING INSTRUCTIONS: Just copy these 6 questions into your comment below and answer them. Then click Post.
1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?
2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?
3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week?
4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week?
5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the Featured Animal in the Discussion with that animal if you have not already done so.
6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?
Tip: To copy the questions, highlight the text and type ctrl-C (hold down the ctrl key and type a C) then place the cursor in the Reply box and use ctrl-V to paste.
Remember the weekly posting period runs from Saturday through noon 12:00pm Central (Texas) United States Friday which is the same as 5pm in system time shown at the top of your posts (it is the Universal Time (Greenwich, UK)). You can check your own time using the Time Zone converter at:
https://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/converter-classic.html
Note: Silver members can Upgrade to Gold or Platinum membership at any time by emailing Support@ValHeart.com and letting us know. Put Upgrade in the subject line.
While only posts answering the above questions count as Accountability Posts, you are welcome to comment on anyone else’s posts. We are here to learn from and inspire each other too! Provide feedback to others and we will learn together.
Much love, Barb & Val

1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?
I did some short sessions during the work day and some present moment exercises with the kittens who were dumped in my yard some weeks respectively days ago to make them feel more comfortable.2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?
Last Sunday one of my cats suddenly started howling and making strange noises. Shortly after I tried to figure out who that was and what happened Tabby came staggering up the stairs in the kennel. Her hind legs that were weak because of a neurological condition seemed not to work at all and she seemed disturbed. I left her a while to settle down before I tuned in to investigate. From what she described I had the impression that she had suffered a stroke and checking her in the evening confirmed this first impression. One eye is considerably smaller and the whole right side of her face has dropped and she has a mild head tilt. In the meantime she is walking again, extremely wobbly, but some feeling obviously came back to her legs.
3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week?
All 6 kittens in my bathroom are by now friendly and start purring when I touch them.
4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week?
My usual and by far biggest challenge is lack of time.
5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the Featured Animal in the Discussion with that animal if you have not already done so.
No
6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?
Too stressed for any intuition to work.

1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?
Yes, I did meditate this week about 20-30 minutes a day but divided into 2 or 3 segments usually. This week was jumbled – I’m in the fire danger & high wind area of Southern California so every day is a new chess game of packing the car, packing your stuff, loading your stuff, unloading your stuff. It makes long stretches of meditation much needed, but rarely accomplished. 🙂
2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?
My client’s doggie, Ginger, had a household disruption this week so I spent time with her getting her calmed down. Ginger is getting ready to transition, and she wasn’t quite prepared for a new puppy to show up! No one told me about the puppy so I couldn’t prepare her, but she’s doing better and in some ways, the puppy is going to do her a big favor.
3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week?
We have a new mini pony at the barn named Milkshake. Milkshake is taking the stall once occupied for many years by one of my favorites, Ralphie, who transitioned about 3 months ago suddenly. So it’s nice to have that stall filled again, but sad too, and the stall is directly across the barn aisle from my horse, Hattie. I’ve had to overcome my grief that it’s Milkshake I see there, and not Ralphie, and not allow that to tinge my relationship with the little girl pony who is as pretty as can be at age 17. This week, I noticed Milkshake would wait for me to arrive, and when she saw me, I’d get a little reminder nicker “don’t forget me” and “I’ll have some of that Timothy, please”, so I’m celebrating that the dear Miss Milkshake is responding to me and making me so happy again when I look in that stall every night and say, as I did to Ralphie: Good Night. I love you!
4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week?
Well I saw way too many horses stressed, running, embers falling upon them, scared, unsure – I didn’t like it and that’s always a challenge for me when it seems humans have created dangerous situations for horses. The big challenge was that a van hit two horses w/riders in my neighborhood and then the driver ran off, leaving the people critically injured and the horses didn’t survive the impact. I did “talk” to the horses and they were so selfless, so concerned for their people, and not themselves. Very sad. The humans are in stable condition – a man and wife. Such an empty barn now. 🙁
5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the Featured Animal in the Discussion with that animal if you have not already done so.
I did get a glimpse of Polly Wolly as I call her when I was chatting with Sally briefly, and she seems to have entered a new phase of her life with a softness that just wasn’t there before and much less resistance. She is such a wise wonderful horsie, filled to the brim with experiences. I did get a feeling that she had seen spirits while in her outside turn out at dusk. She says she likes to watch them and hear them “chatter amongst themselves”. And she also says that the Indians really valued their horses as partners and she would like to be a real partner also and be depended upon.
6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?
I noticed this week that when a client called, I’d “look ahead” to see whether it was male/female, and their current needs. It was a great “game” and it also gave me that time to focus fully on THEM which I do believe clients need and want.

1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?
I meditated several times for varying lengths of time. In addition to meditations during Val’s call on Saturday and my church service on Sunday, I sat quietly centering my mind. I also called the Unity Prayer Line last night for healing and the beautiful prayer was a meditation with powerful energy. Oh yes, I did an in person Reiki session which is a mediation for both the practitioner and the client.
2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not? No, other than my usual attempts to communicate with my usual animals.
3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week? Nothing to celebrate.
4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week? Getting over my hesitate to try it when so many times I have been unable to connect.
5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the Featured Animal in the Discussion with that animal if you have not already done so. I attempted to connect with Pollyanna during the call. I sensed that she was a very gentle soul, a little shy. I have not posted it since I did not really get any information.
6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not? Once again I did not even think of playing a game.

1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?
I didn’t do very well this week with my long morning meditations, though I do stop throughout my day and center and quiet for a few minutes each time. I have been practicing ‘listening’ and one day my right ear was ringing deeply and loudly; when I said, “I am listening”, it stopped.
2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?
I spoke with a kitty boy Blue Sky, a couple of times and got beautiful information about him getting closer to death and helping his human come to acceptance. Also Blue Sky’s sister Lullaby. Spoke with a pug dog Betty Poop, Angela posted her on our Facebook page and I am awaiting feedback from her human.
3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week?
Well after 3 full years of being in your program, I feel I am ‘really getting good and true communications’
4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week?
Why is it so challenging to get my shit together to have deeper understanding of my own cats and their inner world voices? I continue to work through the blocks I bump into in my own head.
5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the Featured Animal in the Discussion with that animal if you have not already done so.
I had a brief communication with Pollyanna but have not posted yet because I told her I would get back with her as soon as I could; though this week kind of got away from me. Hopefully today have a long visit.
6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?
I tried my deck of cards a couple times and failed miserably. I am in several private animal facebook pages and I as I peruse the pictures their humans post, I slip in briefly to ‘read’ their energy and get a feel for who they are; sometimes I post sometimes not. It is a quick check in in passing which is helping me to ‘ground, connect, center, drop out of head and into heart and tune in’ it is a fun way for me to practice without falling into a worry state of thinking, ” I gotta do good for this human” . I pretend I am an excellent AC who can drop in effortlessly, like Val does in our Gold Member class; it seems to be making it easier for me because there is no pressure I am placing on myself. It is kinda of like fake it till you make it game.
Pam, Pammie, Pammie Jean, Pamela.... you can call me any of these names.

1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?
Yes, I have meditated this week but not for as long of a period as I usually do. I have been sick with what would have turned out to be pneumonia if I had let it progress before going to the doctor. I have been doing guided meditations for the chakra’s and reiki meditations via my Insight Timer app.
2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?
Yes, I have connected with my horse Pollyanna on several occasions this week.
3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week?
I communicated with Pollyanna when on my way from the grocery store. I was not up to doing my usual stall cleaning and helping with turn out due to sickness but telepathically communicated that I was on my way and would be there momentarily. When I arrived, she was standing at her stall door which she never does. I took that as she heard my communication and I am happy.
4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week?
I continue to feel frustrated around not hearing more messages from the animals I communicate with. I am working on getting over this frustration and just be more patient to allow. I also recognize that meditation is critical to this step.
5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the Featured Animal in the Discussion with that animal if you have not already done so.
Yes, my communication was with Pollyanna as mentioned on #3.
6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?
I didn’t play a game but one day this week. I used the playing cards and guessed 12 out of the deck correctly with the suit. I was happy with that though. 🙂

1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?
Yes meditation sitting and walking in forest and also dancing meditation.
2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?
Yes everyday. Felt good and rich conversations with my beloveds. Sebastian has shown me clearly (though I already knew) that she is a transmitter of owl energy, possibly that she was formerly an owl. Very briefly, she speaks of signs signals omens and the subtle differences between directly connecting with “signs” (which are basically energetic portals at nodes of time) and being the transmitter of signals that a sign has occurred or is occurring. My conversations with Ezla have been nothing short of epiphany inducing. We sat in the forest. I watched him “listening.” Amazing to witness non human animals as they “listen” all day long. He is my teacher. Mama Kitty has been assisting with my reflexology and reiki healing sessions this week.
3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week?
The beautiful precious porcupine I saw in my neighborhood. Love their slow waddle.
4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week?
I am loving connecting with Sabine’s tunchi and Hualpi as they navigate on their journey. Are the lost, missing, crossed over. Bittersweet to search and communicate for a lost/missing animal. I am using my pendulum and practicing animal communication and facing the challenges of weeding out my own mental images.
5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the Featured Animal in the Discussion with that animal if you have not already done so.
Yes and I write in forum.
6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not? Not really YET -

MEDITATIONS: TYPES, TIMES
Same as last week: chakra, breathing, listening for a few times for a few minutes during the day and night. Also the 10/26 Masterclass recording meditation. They seem to be helping with mobility and pain relief because I went grocery shopping (smaller store than usual) for the first time since mid-September.
INTENTION TO COMMUNICATE
When I try to tell my two indoor cats that I want to be alone at night, they scratch and call at the door until I open it and they get in bed with me. The temperature went from a high of 90 two weeks ago to one of 50 the next week, and now we (central Texas) have nights in the low 30s and high 20s, so they’re seeking warmth. But they do have soft cat beds! I also try to listen for their responses to my requests, but for this distracted human, they’re acting them out.
Also, I try to tell (and hear from) Rosalie the Lorelei, the outdoor cat who’s visited for food since January 2018 that 6 ounces of canned food fulfills her daily requirement for someone her small size. But she keeps coming back and calling until she has had 12 ounces over the course of a day.
CELEBRATE
That we have a teacher who shares her joyous experiences with us, mostly recently in Spain, and also her psychic ones (often not joyous), so we have a model of what to aspire to.
When I missed the live call last Saturday because of a previously scheduled cinnamon bun baking class, one of the other students mentioned that she recently retired and that she no longer has all the indoor and outdoor cats and dogs she used to take care of (house in the country). She said she just could not clean up after them anymore. So I’m not the only one who reached my limit on clean-up this year.
CHALLENGES, QUESTIONS
Do fleas burrow for months in human skin? My arms and lower legs are again looking like the flea bite images on Google, yet I’ve seen no fleas on me, the cats, or in the bed. Fleas have turned me off from even thinking of volunteering at a shelter.
FAT COMMUNICATION
Quick messages to Sally S’s Pollyanna, e.g., recognizing her as the alpha horse in her pasture and asking her how she exercises her leadership with them. But I wasn’t centered and quiet enough inside to receive answers.
INTUITIVE GAMES
Same as before: trying to guess the time of day or night, trying to anticipate lines of dialogue while watching a film. Probably better with the latter than the former.

1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you? No. I didn’t make time for meditating, wasn’t in the right mindset.
2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not? Yes, my cats. They understood at least some if not all. Also with my sister and brother-in-law’s dog who I sent good energy to and told him he needs to do what my sister and brother-in-law tell him to do while he’s recovering from surgery for a partial tear in his ACL.
3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week?
