–> It’s Time to Practice with the Accountability Game!
Ready to earn special bonus private coaching time with Val? Here’s how:
One of the most important things to help you stay on track with your goals is to be accountable on a regular basis. To help you with that, once a week please answer these simple questions listed below.
This practice is designed to help you become more consciously aware of your journey, to celebrate your successes and share any perceived “failures” so they can be acknowledged, healed and cleared. Mistakes are a necessary part of the journey. There are no right answers here and this is not a test. Just do your best. Doing this exercise will help you improve your skills and be more consciously aware at all times. Remember this is a journey, not a destination. The idea is for you to stay conscious and make progress.
NOTE: All students are invited to play, but only Gold and Platinum Club Members are eligible to earn the Accountability private Coaching Session Awards (value $125).
Here’s how Gold and Platinum Members earn your sessions:
1) Stay Accountable. Each week there will be a new Accountability Discussion for the time period of Saturday through Friday to which you can post any day of the week. You are invited to report on you efforts, progress and frustrations during the week since your last post. You don’t have to have perfect results. It is more important that you are trying, taking action and sharing what’s happening for you.
2) When you’ve completed 12 consecutive weeks of accountability posts you will receive an email from the Coaching Club Moderator with the Subject “Congratulations – you’ve earned a coaching session with Val.” This email will be sent after the new week’s Accountability Discussion has been posted to the Forum. If you miss a week, just start your count over the next week.
3) In the Congratulations email, you’ll receive instructions on how to schedule. Use your time for animal communication mentoring, healing, and/or Val’s help working with your own animal(s).
4) Post each week during the Saturday to Friday timeframe. All posts are automatically time stamped and should align with the appropriate week to apply toward earning a free session with Val. Note: You can’t wait for 3 months then do 12 week’s worth of reporting in 1 week! Having the practice over time will strengthen your Animal Communication intuitive muscles.
MEMBER POSTING INSTRUCTIONS: Just copy these 6 questions into your comment below and answer them. Then click Post.
1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?
2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?
3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week?
4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week?
5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the Featured Animal in the Discussion with that animal if you have not already done so.
6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?
Tip: To copy the questions, highlight the text and type ctrl-C (hold down the ctrl key and type a C) then place the cursor in the Reply box and use ctrl-V to paste.
Remember the weekly posting period runs from Saturday through noon 12:00pm Central (Texas) United States Friday which is the same as 5pm in system time shown at the top of your posts (it is the Universal Time (Greenwich, UK)). You can check your own time using the Time Zone converter at:
https://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/converter-classic.html
Note: Silver members can Upgrade to Gold or Platinum membership at any time by emailing Support@ValHeart.com and letting us know. Put Upgrade in the subject line.
While only posts answering the above questions count as Accountability Posts, you are welcome to comment on anyone else’s posts. We are here to learn from and inspire each other too! Provide feedback to others and we will learn together.
Much love, Barb & Val

1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?
I did meditate but only 2 times with a short daily morning meditation.
2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?
Yes, I did. A woman who was taking her dog for a walk (greyhound) stopped and sat on the grass to look at her mobile phone. I asked the dog if I could talk with him and he agreed. He told me that he used to be a racing dog and he loved the excitement of it and that it gave him a purpose. Now he said he just gets bored. He loves going for walks but wished his person would be more present.
I decided to say hello to the woman and started conversation about her dog and asked how he became a part of her family. She put her phone away and we had a conversation about how she saved him from a shelter. I told her how lovely that was, and how special I felt he was. I then said “ Maybe in some way, he saved you”. She suddenly became present, hugged her dog and then said “ I really should spend more time with him.”
The dog thanked me and I thanked him and then they went off to continue their walk together.3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week?
This week I celebrate that I have not given up even though I am going through a bit of a difficult time at the moment.
4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week?
The challenge I had this week is that my mind keeps challenging me. I feel like my mind and my heart are playing tug of war with me. That is the only way I can explain it.
5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results.
I did try but at the time my mind kept going elsewhere. It was hard to focus and be present.
6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?
Not this week as I found it very difficult to focus and clear my mind.

1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?
Some presence exercises to calm the kittens in order to stop their fear and get them used to me.
2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?
Yes, I talked to some kittens, who had been dumped in my and my neighbour’s yards. After some days I could calm them enough to be able to get them indoors.
3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week?
The last kitten, I caught was very fearful and would not come close enough to get her. One night I told her to cross the street at night, when there are no cars there and come to my veranda for food. The next night she was sitting on my veranda and I was able to catch her.
4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week?
I have a lot of things on my mind presently and find it difficult to stay present and to focus.
5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the Featured Animal in the Discussion with that animal if you have not already done so.
No time
6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?
No games.

1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?
Yes – I meditate every day. This week a fellow writer who distributes a newsy email newsletter recommended a new app which he raved about, so of course I tried it. You can find it as “brain.fm”. And you can try it for free. It is the most remarkable offering I’ve found, ever. It’s scientifically designed to produce certain results on the brain and IT WORKS. I use the “deep focus” in the background all day, and it has increased my productivity by a couple of hours a day AND I no longer need a nap! They have meditations (GREAT!) AND sleep sequences also. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?
Yes – I have been working a lot, as you know, with the end-of-life doggie named Ginger. She’s allowing herself to ease out of the Earth realm. I worked also with the ongoing situation regarding the cat, Ava. We had an incident which I’ll bring into the next Q&A but in a nutshell (and because I used my intuition) I went outside with Ava one morning on a hunch, and sure enough! A COYOTE tried to jump over an 8″ fence to get to her but when he saw me, he pushed himself off the fence and fell onto the neighbor’s RV but OMG! So it was an opportunity to refresh some of my conversation with her about “those naughty wild animals”.
3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week?
I’m celebrating something related to my horse, Hattie, with whom I connect almost daily, but in this instance, I’m celebrating a secondary situation having to do with her Vet and the Vet office, who are only marginally competent. After unsatisfactory results from them, I really “took a look around” that office to see exactly how to overcome their negligence and get what I needed for my horse. It worked like a charm. One phone call and whamo – got exactly what my horse needed. I find this maddening, fatiguing and totally incompetent – as I find most things in the horse world – but this is a perfect example of what I’ve had to do just to save my horse from a fate we won’t talk about here.
4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week?
I want to delve more deeply into convincing Ava the cat that using her litterbox is preferable when the Sun isn’t shining. She detests her litter box. She will make herself miserable crouching by the door wanting to go out, and the irony of it is that the litter box IS RIGHt THErE BY THE DOOR! All she has to do is USE IT.
5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the Featured Animal in the Discussion with that animal if you have not already done so.
Yes. Pollyanna is wonderful. I actually exchanged a few emails with Sally and I had less time with Pollyanna than I’d hoped, but I did pick up some snippets that I shared with Sally, and I’ll try to remember/repeat it here: She seems to have had some excellent care in the past that she misses greatly. I had a glimpse of a little girl that was somehow “ripped away” or maybe Pollyanna was “ripped away” from the girl. Sally mentioned she’d had a horse named Roy and when I looked at it, I did wonder: is Pollyanna Roy reincarnated? I get the sense that Pollyanna may be saying: HEY I’M ROY and I’m standing RIGHT HERE IN FRONT OF YOU! In fact, I wondered if maybe SALLY were the little girl I saw and that it was a past life glimpse from Pollyanna when she was Roy. I feel Pollyanna has much to say and she would like to have us have a more excited and curious approach to her, much as we might if we were excitedly going to Disneyland for the day. She has a high opinion of herself and she’d appreciated it if we all did as well. LOL
6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?
After doing 100+ readings, I’m not really excited about playing psychic games, to be honest. But I do have some fun with “what’s the best time to go to Costco” and things like that. This week, I followed the guidance and oh my goodness – there was an old friend there I hadn’t seen for ages so we caught up, and I was grateful I’d “listened” to the best time to go shopping!

1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?
Continued my daily meditation practice every morning and night from 15-60minutes. This week I practiced listening to my mantra as a thought. I found this very fruitful.2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not? I connected with Kuma to figure out why he growls when people try to pat him on top of his head. We went back in time to when he was a hunting dog and was whacked on the top of his head when he couldn’t find the dead bird. Then we went to the workshop for a healing and I also asked my guides to send healing red energy into his first chakra which seemed weak. I’ll find out on Sunday if this was helpful.
3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week? Wonderful surprises keep happening when I connect with various animals which makes this so interesting and fun.
4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week?
This week it was not enough time—very busy with the affairs of life.5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the Featured Animal in the Discussion with that animal if you have not already done so. On my list. I’ll visit with Pollyanna next.
6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not? Sent my husband a “message” to pick up an entry way rug and he cane home with it! 👏🏻😊

1 Yes, I meditated a few times this week but not consistently. I have been working at the AACA Hershey Meet in Hershey PA which is a huge swap meet and car show. I have been staying in a camper on site w no WiFi and little alone/quiet time.
2 I tried communicating with a few dogs I encountered at the show. Wasn’t able to connect although they loved the attention and petting.
3 Nothing to celebrate in this regard.
4 My challenge is being out of my familiar surroundings and routine.
5 Yes I tried to connect with the FAT which is my pony. Still not getting her communication.
6 No, I didn’t play any games. -

1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?
only a few minutes per day this week 3x’s did longer 20-30 min and a couple guided meditations
2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?
spoke with a couple of dogs who have recently passed quite closely together and the information I received and passed on to the human helped her pain ease. I have been working with Charlie about not waking me up too early in the morning crying to go out; it’s working, all week he has waited for me to get up and moving before he moans.
3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week? All I can say today is that through my writing and expressing what I receive from the animals I try and communicate with really does help all concerned.4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week?
I get so distracted with my job and the outside influences that I am pooped by end of day. My body has been going through some releasing and so my guts have been not feeling so well. I am dealing too, with a deep loss of a friend and am being derailed by it.
5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the Featured Animal in the Discussion with that animal if you have not already done so.
no not yet, I have not been in the right space. I am working on an issue around getting so hung up on wanting to get good and correct information that I find myself blocked and when I try and tune in and get nothing I say, ok maybe later….then later doesn’t come.
6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not? no
Pam, Pammie, Pammie Jean, Pamela.... you can call me any of these names.

1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?
Yes, every day, but less on three days. Still need to keep trying with those particular work days because it makes a big difference.
2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not? Not in a focused way – just in a general relaxed way around the hosue with my dog. lackf o time because of busy busy work week.
3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week? I’ve been trying to find a nomenclature for my relationship with Elsa – I felt she needs me to acknowledge her adulthood, her wisdom, the extent of her contribution, her independence – the standard mum/companion/partner didn’t seem to cover it – I’m not sure why – either they didn’t sit well with her or with me – and then settled on “friend” – in the truest most profound meaning of the word. We both feel happy with that. I;m nto sure why this is important – but it is.
4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week? Time, confidence. But my confidence is getting better.
5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the Featured Animal in the Discussion with that animal if you have not already done so. Not properly – a quick look adn I was overwhelmed with warmth.
6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not? No. lack fo time. -

1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you? Yes, briefly with Pollyanna. I got a busy signal when I tried to connect with her, but then I realized it was my intuition letting me know that I was going to get the “404 error” message again. Pollyanna wanted to connect with me to meditate though. It was a way to briefly slow down.
2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not? Yes, with my cats and they understood at least some. An example is when I asked Hawkeye to go on top of the microwave. He did. The microwave was unplugged and I asked him to get on top of the microwave so that I could have more counter space. I also did with Yossi and Pollyanna. I might have also with a dog who was in doggy day care at the store where I get my cats’ food.
3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week? Nothing new.
4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week? How can we know when we’re getting information from the animal or if it’s not coming from the animal?
5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the Featured Animal in the Discussion with that animal if you have not already done so. She and I meditated and I thanked her and she rubbed my chin. When I went to have a conversation with her and write, the “404 error” message came up.
6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not? Yes, I communicated with Yossi and posted for Carol to see the communication.

MEDITATION: TYPES, TIMES
Attempts to quiet my mind many times day and night with breathing and fragments of other techniques. Too distracted by walking difficulty to focus. But despite extra hours napping, my legs are getting stronger; Amazon delivered a manual walker so I can get to plays and lectures; for the events I didn’t anticipate I’d be well enough to attend this month, I’m told I’ll receive refunds. As my anxiety level decreases, I’ll begin a regimented meditation schedule.
INTENTION TO COMMUNICATE WITH ANIMALS
Mainly I’ve been trying to reassure my affectionate, sensitive male cat that I am getting well and will get the house cleaned up as soon as possible, so that he can join me in bed again if he wants. (Well, maybe. I’ve liked sleeping alone the past few months and this week, one of the slats in the 34-y-o futon frame fell down and there’s an uncomfortable dip in the futon.)`
CELEBRATE
The idea came to me that I should prefix Shoshana’s name with Shannon, so “Shannon Shoshana” floats through my mind. I don’t know if that means any contact or additional contact with her. Sometimes I find myself whispering “Kiku” because that was my version of echoing a sound she made back to her.
CHALLENGES, QUESTIONS
Raven-Raffaele, the male cat, has developed small bowel diarrhea. From the stress of hearing me thump around with a cane? Nothing else has changed in the house or in his behavior. I’ll make a vet appointment after I post this.
FAT COMMUNICATION Posted about Sally S’s Pollyanna.
INTUITIVE GAMES
Just attempts anticipating everyday incidents, e.g., if I call the travel agency now, will I get a refund because someone else wants a seat on the sold-out bus? Yes.
