–> It’s Time to Practice with the Accountability Game!
Ready to earn special bonus private coaching time with Val? Here’s how:
One of the most important things to help you stay on track with your goals is to be accountable on a regular basis. To help you with that, once a week please answer these simple questions listed below.
This practice is designed to help you become more consciously aware of your journey, to celebrate your successes and share any perceived “failures” so they can be acknowledged, healed and cleared. Mistakes are a necessary part of the journey. There are no right answers here and this is not a test. Just do your best. Doing this exercise will help you improve your skills and be more consciously aware at all times. Remember this is a journey, not a destination. The idea is for you to stay conscious and make progress.
NOTE: All students are invited to play, but only Gold and Platinum Club Members are eligible to earn the Accountability private Coaching Session Awards (value $125).
Here’s how Gold and Platinum Members earn your sessions:
1) Stay Accountable. Each week there will be a new Accountability Discussion for the time period of Saturday through Friday to which you can post any day of the week. You are invited to report on you efforts, progress and frustrations during the week since your last post. You don’t have to have perfect results. It is more important that you are trying, taking action and sharing what’s happening for you.
2) When you’ve completed 12 consecutive weeks of accountability posts you will receive an email from the Coaching Club Moderator with the Subject “Congratulations – you’ve earned a coaching session with Val.” This email will be sent after the new week’s Accountability Discussion has been posted to the Forum. If you miss a week, just start your count over the next week.
3) In the Congratulations email, you’ll receive instructions on how to schedule. Use your time for animal communication mentoring, healing, and/or Val’s help working with your own animal(s).
4) Post each week during the Saturday to Friday timeframe. All posts are automatically time stamped and should align with the appropriate week to apply toward earning a free session with Val. Note: You can’t wait for 3 months then do 12 week’s worth of reporting in 1 week! Having the practice over time will strengthen your Animal Communication intuitive muscles.
MEMBER POSTING INSTRUCTIONS: Just copy these 6 questions into your comment below and answer them. Then click Post.
1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?
2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?
3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week?
4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week?
5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the Featured Animal in the Discussion with that animal if you have not already done so.
6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?
Tip: To copy the questions, highlight the text and type ctrl-C (hold down the ctrl key and type a C) then place the cursor in the Reply box and use ctrl-V to paste.
Remember the weekly posting period runs from Saturday through noon 12:00pm Central (Texas) United States Friday which is the same as 5pm in system time shown at the top of your posts (it is the Universal Time (Greenwich, UK)). You can check your own time using the Time Zone converter at:
https://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/converter-classic.html
Note: Silver members can Upgrade to Gold or Platinum membership at any time by emailing Support@ValHeart.com and letting us know. Put Upgrade in the subject line.
While only posts answering the above questions count as Accountability Posts, you are welcome to comment on anyone else’s posts. We are here to learn from and inspire each other too! Provide feedback to others and we will learn together.
Much love, Barb & Val

1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?
Yes, I have made the intention to meditate daily in the morning upon awakening or shortly after. If I have not been able to do that, I have been listening to Val’s meditations as I have been going through listening to the trainings. And lastly, I do a meditation of breathing and clarity before communicating with an animal. Meditation helps me calm my mind and allows things to flow much easier.
2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?
I had the opportunity to communicate with a beautiful dog, two cats, Nemo and Darwin. One of the cats was venturing into the woods at her home and her mom was afraid for her. We talked with this cat and explained things and the cat didn’t understand how dangerous this was for her. She has since stayed closer to home in spaces where she could still choose to be in having her own space.
3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week?
I would like to celebrate the victory of connection with Nemo. He helped me in helping a horse who had reached out for help. He felt he (the horse) was in prison because he worked for a mennonite family. He called them his masters. He felt that he wasn’t being acknowledged. He was unhappy and sad. I listened to him and allowed him to share his feelings. I explained that some humans don’t understand in the same way as others and some more information about why they see him as a means of transportation etc. (he said they see him as a “means to an end”). And he said he understood them much better. I offered him the opportunity that while he is there in that role, if he wants to be acknowledged, I have some wonderful beings that could help him with that. He was very open and at that moment, I felt Nemo come through wanting to help. I introduced them both together and Nemo had a powerful message to share with “Pierre” (that was the name that came through when I asked the horse his name). The horse began crying, he said that he is making a difference and felt so loved. I had tears in my eyes but they were the horse’s tears and not mine. I never experienced that before. It was a beautiful healing experience for us all. I am grateful for Pierre and Nemo for the loved they shared together.
4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week?
I don’t have any questions this week.
5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the Featured Animal in the Discussion with that animal if you have not already done so.
I did! On our Q&A called I wrote down the communication that Darwin shared and read it at the end of the call. Yesterday, I also had a chant with Darwin and asked him about eating as it would be a good idea for him to eat that day since I wasn’t going to be there again until Friday. (He doesn’t like to take food from a bowl and my husband isn’t comfortable feeing him by hand) and he listened intently and ate a very good amount of food. It was a really nice confirmation of communication to each other.
6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?
I did! I went to the 3rd module for the intuition games and will be continuing forward. I am at my mom’s right now until next week to help her (my step father had passed last month) and will be continuing forward with the intuition modules. 🙂

Hi Marybeth,
I just had to respond to your post about the communication with the horse! I have tears in my eyes too as I read it. I have always felt so badly for those horses, both the Amish and Menninite people treat them as just objects. I know of several people who have taken their horses to the Amish for “training”, and when they got them back they were severely traumatized and the humans had to start all over with them. When they are standing hooked to the buggies, they always have their heads down, looking so dejected and sad, and my heart just wants to rescue them all!! How wonderful it was for Nemo to connect with that horse and give him a bit of perspective on his life.
I also want to tell you that I think Darwin is absolutely awesome!! Thank you for sharing him with us!

1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?
I’m still focusing on the conscious breathing. There is a meditation that I’m going to download and put on my phone that is all about conscious breathing.
2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?
I’m listening to Ginger to the best of my ability to see how she’s doing after Val connected with her on the Q&A call on Saturday. I started adding some turmeric to her food after reading that it is good for liver issues and just good for the liver in general. I bought her some Fresh Pet food, which I will give her instead of the canned food I have been feeding her and I’m eager to see how she does with that. I also ordered some Liver Tune from Dr. Peter Dobias’ website, which I had been thinking about trying even before Val connected with Ginger. She seems to be doing better just with the turmeric added, as I’m not hearing so much moaning anymore, and she seems more alert! YAY!
3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week?
I would like to celebrate Val and having her as a go-to for information from and about our fur-children (also feathered, finned, and scaled) 🙂

Nothing new.

1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you? Yes, briefly centered and checked my chakra colors.
2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not? Yes, with my cats who understood-at least some. Also, with my friends I took care of in March when their humans were out of town. I’m not sure if the first one understood or not, but she was very cute when she came to the patio door when she heard me walking by. Her sister I think understood me and was also cute when she came when I called her sister (I called her with my voice though).
3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week? Nothing new.
4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week? Nothing new.
5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the Featured Animal in the Discussion with that animal if you have not already done so. Yes, and I posted for Marybeth to see the communication. Darwin told me some things and shared images with me.
6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not? Yes, deck of cards. color: 6 right out of 10. suit: 4 right out of 15. 6 right out of 7. When I got to 7 I was right-I was trying to use my intuition to stop at 7 (It’s my cats’ dinner time now so I need to stop).

1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?
Yes three times, guided meditations 20 minutes each.
2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?
Yes, Lucy started to colic and I am so grateful that she comes to my husband or me and lets us know that she is sick. Because she lets us know right away we give her the banamine injection to the jugular vein which helps her immediately and then we walk and walk to see how fast she improves to determine if she needs to go to the vet in an emergency state. During the observation time she was hungry again and very upset with me for not feeding her. We were waiting for her to pass feces a couple times before she could get a handful of hay. She yelled, I am Fine!!! As I explained to her why she couldn’t be fed. I chuckled at receiving the message loudly. She recovered quickly and I am so grateful for the close relationship we have.
3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week?
That I was able to receive the messages.
4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week?
None
5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the Featured Animal in the Discussion with that animal if you have not already done so.
Yes on the class call.
6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?
Yes, I asked the pendulum if Lucy would improve and if she had to go to the Vet. Both answers were correct.

1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?
Not very much, but I always tried to be present and open.
2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?
Monday I was at the office concentrating on a task, when around noon all of a sudden I had Silber on my mind. Immediately I felt she had come to say goodbye. I wished her an easy transition and asked, if she was in pain. She said no, but she was very tired. We chatted for about half an hour, then she got quiet. I felt her taking a very deep breath and then relax. I knew she had passed on. When I came home at night I found her dead body.
3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week?
That I was open enough to feel Silber coming in
4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week?
I am fighting with Tabbina. She seems to feel better again, though she still falls over and ends up in the feeding and water bowls. But now she started again climing up on top of the show cage. I am afraid she will fall down when she tries to climb down like she did last time.
5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the Featured Animal in the Discussion with that animal if you have not already done so.
I connected with Darwin during our call and shared what I had received.
6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?
I prefer to use my intuition in everyday situations.

1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?
Yes: chanting a lot everyday. But also increasing the silent meditation.
2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?
Yes – I tried to do the share the body exercise with Darwin (the FAT). I don’t think it worked particularly well but I did have a moment where I felt us breathing together. I think my head took over. Not sure.
3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week?
I’ve done the first two lessons of the beginning course again – It all means a lot more the second time around. I’ve also noticed that I’m gradually getting more trust in the process.
4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week? Struggling with brain, trying too hard….grrrrr…..
5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the Featured Animal in the Discussion with that animal if you have not already done so.

1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?
Yes, I say the Ho’Oponopono prayer and mantra morning & night. I do at least 15 minutes of Reiki meditation and 15 minutes or more of self healing every day. I usually do a guided meditation morning and night but this past week mainly did morning. I’ve been doing quite a mixture of meditations. Mostly soothing and relaxing, gratitude, chakra clearing, building intuition and I found one I really resonate with called “Believe in Yourself” all found on the Insight Timer app. My meditations are usually about 20 minutes long.
2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?
Yes, I spoke with Darwin on our call and once during the week. I always talk with my pony and barn cats but don’t get their messages yet.
3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week?
I got accurate information on my conversation with Darwin. I also realized that talking with my own animal is the most difficult so have made a commitment to talk with the FAT more often, at least once a week to practice so I get confirmation on what I get. I am also celebrating that I am not falling apart over my ex-husband being near the end of his life. I have moved on from our divorce and am happily married again, but I did love him deeply. The meditations and Ho’Oponopono help so much.
4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week?
Well, this is not animal related but I am trying to telepathically talk with my ex-husband who is in hospice care. I never told him I have forgiven him over our split and divorce. I think I have gotten through to him but am not sure. I feel very sad for him, a life not lived to his fullest potential.
5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the Featured Animal in the Discussion with that animal if you have not already done so.
Yes, I did! I spoke with Darwin twice and posted my findings in the forum. I am very excited about this.
6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?
Yes, I played the card game once. I got about a 50/50 correct/incorrect. Better than in the past.

Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?
I have been going through my mini Voice Recorder and listening to many of Val’s quick meditations that she has done during the Gold and Master calls, again, I really like the “Thinking” meditation. I have found myself practicing this in the mornings upon waking when I am attempting to capture my early morning dream fragments. It blows my mind how quick my damn beta mind starts chattering for attention before I even open my eyes. I have been focusing, as well, on my OhoPonoPono Prayer numerous times throughout the day, as during this shut-down my worries about money come flooding in in spurts during my days and the prayer is helping me immensely with this, and also with the triggers my sisters in Colorado which are butting up into my face.
2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?
I have spoken with several animals this week: I spoke again with Rusty, Sunada’s cat about his health and why he cry meows so much at night. The information I am getting as much to do with the behavior and attitudes of the humans which is challenging me to come up with softer ways in which to express my findings to them without causing hurt. It is just hitting home to me how animal issues are so closely intertwined with their humans bull, and mine as well.
I did a long, at least an hour session plus typing up a 2page report for a newbie in the group, Erica’s dog MoJo. He has issues with pulling and tugging on leash and barking & lunging. When I got feedback from her I was deflated that what I passed on to her was not all that correct. I keep remembering Val saying that failure is OK.
I tried to talk with my ants again and it is showing me I am getting through at least a little bit because I am seeing less of them; but I do have more work to do here as they have been popping into my dreamscapes. I have re-read the information from Animal Speak book and realize the messages they send me are of grave importance to me in re-structuring and re-building my life from the foundation up. Again, this lock down is goading me to get my new construction underway. I feel my time is truly running out as is my patience.I tuned into Sherlock the black cat who slipped away from his home in my old stomping grounds in Colorado – Barb Grout posted on Facebook. I received some strong impressions which felt right on to me, which is good – the bad part of it is yet another lesson that I must do my reading then let co of the outcome. This is frustrating to me because I want him to liste n and take action in returning home and yet he has not. Huge lesson for me personally hereabout my own movement out of the old structure and journeying to my intuitive heart home
.
. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week? That I have not broken down too bad this week with regards to my failed communications.
. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week?
My worries about getting everything correct and change to happen more quickly than it does.
5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the Featured Animal in the Discussion with that animal if you have not already done so.
Darwin as been in and out of my thoughts this week but I have not, as of yet, sat down and done a communication with him. I saw his new pic on facebook and sent him floods of my heart love to him and MaryBeth. I will talk with him soon and post on forum…..I promise him and myself as well! I must honor my words!
6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?I am always playing with my phone….when I hear it buzz with a text, I intuit who is sending me the text, I have been doing 50/50.
Pam, Pammie, Pammie Jean, Pamela.... you can call me any of these names.

1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you? I have been meditating off and on this week. No specific schedule, just keeping my energy up.
2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not? As usual, I have communicated with Princess in spirit a few times. I asked her to watch over Missy and Roxy and assure them that everything is OK. Princess is the only one of my cats I’ve ever been able to communicate with other than Misti the night she died. As Val told me early on, Princess is more of a soul mate than a pet and we connect more easily.
3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week? That I can connect with Princess. When I think of her I get “yes Mom’ very clearly and sometimes we chat.
I tried to on the call but was not successful. I need to try again.
6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not? No – I never think of the games except when answering this question. I never did like playing games.

Yes, with Sherlock ( a lost cat, now again with family ;)) that he wanted his family know he is not a toy. With my loving cat, pluto (my soul mate, my teacher, my guide), many times; once very funny he told me the name of my new web site “www.iratxelovesanimals.com”. Also with Darwin that I wrote a comment to Marybeth and in the monthly call Darwin show me what is to be a dragon, feel to be a dragon and see throught a Dragon´s eyes, beautiful. I connected with some plants I have in pots in my terrace, with lavander and each one told me the amount of wáter they want each day. With one snail that came inside the cabbage and left in one of the lavander pots in cabbage leafes that one day I could not find. I asked “where are you? and he ansewered “near”. So funny, he was in one of the cabbages leaf but at first nervous thinking where he was I did not see him. First when connecting he was very surprise and I let him just be, I did, no question but let him know I was happy and he would have cabbage all the time and he could live in this pot. With my father´s dog, peke, he likes all the things pluto (my cat) has. Another dog from the Facebook page that I have no input about.
3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week? I love it, it is so beautiful and sometimes so funny. But getting messages from others and having to tell the message to the person is a big responsability and I want to do my best each time.
4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week? I have wrote one and would be answered in the next call in may. Wanting to know about protocols or guidance when dealing with lost animals.
5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the Featured Animal in the Discussion with that animal if you have not already done so. Yes, I did. I wrote about Darwin in Marybeht´s site and also about what I felt in the call.
6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not? Not yet, I am wishing to do it. So many things to look at that I missed this one. I Will have a look now, thank you. -
