–> It’s Time to Practice with the Accountability Game!

Ready to earn special bonus private coaching time with Val? Here’s how:

One of the most important things to help you stay on track with your goals is to be accountable on a regular basis. To help you with that, once a week please answer these simple questions listed below.

This practice is designed to help you become more consciously aware of your journey, to celebrate your successes and share any perceived “failures” so they can be acknowledged, healed and cleared. Mistakes are a necessary part of the journey. There are no right answers here and this is not a test. Just do your best. Doing this exercise will help you improve your skills and be more consciously aware at all times. Remember this is a journey, not a destination. The idea is for you to stay conscious and make progress.

NOTE: All students are invited to play, but only Gold and Platinum Club Members are eligible to earn the Accountability private Coaching Session Awards (value $125).

Here’s how Gold and Platinum Members earn your sessions:

      1) Stay Accountable. Each week there will be a new Accountability Discussion for the time period of Saturday through Friday to which you can post any day of the week. You are invited to report on you efforts, progress and frustrations during the week since your last post. You don’t have to have perfect results. It is more important that you are trying, taking action and sharing what’s happening for you.

      2) When you’ve completed 12 consecutive weeks of accountability posts you will receive an email from the Coaching Club Moderator with the Subject “Congratulations – you’ve earned a coaching session with Val.” This email will be sent after the new week’s Accountability Discussion has been posted to the Forum. If you miss a week, just start your count over the next week.

      3) In the Congratulations email, you’ll receive instructions on how to schedule. Use your time for animal communication mentoring, healing, and/or Val’s help working with your own animal(s).

      4) Post each week during the Saturday to Friday timeframe. All posts are automatically time stamped and should align with the appropriate week to apply toward earning a free session with Val. Note: You can’t wait for 3 months then do 12 week’s worth of reporting in 1 week! Having the practice over time will strengthen your Animal Communication intuitive muscles.

MEMBER POSTING INSTRUCTIONS: Just copy these 6 questions into your comment below and answer them. Then click Post.

      1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?

      2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?

      3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week?

      4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week?

      5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the Featured Animal in the Discussion with that animal if you have not already done so.

      6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?

Tip: To copy the questions, highlight the text and type ctrl-C (hold down the ctrl key and type a C) then place the cursor in the Reply box and use ctrl-V to paste.

Remember the weekly posting period runs from Saturday through noon 12:00pm Central (Texas) United States Friday which is the same as 5pm in system time shown at the top of your posts (it is the Universal Time (Greenwich, UK)). You can check your own time using the Time Zone converter at:

      https://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/converter-classic.html

Note: Silver members can Upgrade to Gold or Platinum membership at any time by emailing [email protected] and letting us know. Put Upgrade in the subject line.

While only posts answering the above questions count as Accountability Posts, you are welcome to comment on anyone else’s posts. We are here to learn from and inspire each other too! Provide feedback to others and we will learn together.

      Much love, Barb & Val

      1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you? It’s early in the posting period, but I have two or three times or maybe four times. I don’t remember how long exactly. I centered. I grounded. I also thought the things that I wanted sage-ing to do when I burned sage. I’m not sure if what I did is called smudging or not. This morning I centered and focused on my breathing while also breathing in things I want and breathing in things I didn’t want.

      2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not? Yes, with Serenity-I told her she needed to move to the other end of the couch if she wanted me to spread out the other blanket and then she could come back and be on the other blanket once it was spread out. She understood and moved to the other end of the couch. She stayed there though and did not come back to the other blanket. I also did with Hawkeye and he understood. He had just pooped and it was a bit soft and a little bit runny and since he’s a Manx he doesn’t have anal sensing glands and doesn’t feel if he gets all his poop off. I saw some and told him to please clean his butt because I didn’t want him to get poop on the furniture, blankets, or anywhere else that’s not a simple clean with a disinfectant wipe clean up. He understood because he started to clean his butt, but then stopped. He cleaned it later though 🙂 I also did with a dog named Lucky. He is my grocery store friend’s dog. When I saw my friend at the grocery store we were talking and she mentioned to me about her dog. I told her I’d connect with Lucky if she wanted me to. She did. I connected with Lucky and my friend confirmed things that could be confirmed about Lucky and his character. My friend said she was impressed 🙂

      3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week? Nothing new.

      4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week? Nothing new.

      5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the Featured Animal in the Discussion with that animal if you have not already done so. Yes, I did and I posted the communication for Lori to see it. Dibs and I went for a car ride during the communication, too!

      6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not? Yes, if you count talking to Lucky.

      1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?
I continue my daily meditations on light and sound, morning and night and also a few minutes before I connect with an animal. I also did two guided meditations from the Platinum Master Class Recordings.

      2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?

      1. Bella: a semi feral cat that was coming to live with a friend. We went to the healing box where fluffy wool inside of it pulled her fears away.

      2. Grizzy in spirit told me she was still around her mom and there would be signs like a 🌈 rainbow that would let her mom know she was there. The next day her mom saw a rainbow that crossed the entire sky!

      3. Luchien: took two journeys to resolve PTSD symptoms while riding in the car.

      4. Priscilla: I told her if she wanted canned food then she should come to the dish. She came to the dish. I put in out and she turned around and went the other way without eating.

      5. Priscilla: Ho’oponopono Prayer 🙏 to help her get over a trauma when she was 5 months old.

      3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week? I am finally working with Luchien (thanks to Val) to help him overcome car sickness. And again thanks to Val I am changing my perspective about animal communication and starting my connections with curiosity instead of hoping it will happen and fearing it won’t….👏

      4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week?
Wondering if the REM for PTSD symptoms needs more than one session. I know I’ll just check in tomorrow to see how Luchien is feeling.

      5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the Featured Animal in the Discussion with that animal if you have not already done so. No. Waiting for the new FAT.

      6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?
Practiced listening to my body and asking it questions.

      1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you? Yes. I have meditated every day for the last 5 days. I have done 20-30 minutes each day. I have started a guided meditation program for 21 days. My husband has also started this and this helps keep me on track as well.

      2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not? No I did not. Work has kept me so busy that I have not had the time i feel I need at this point to do this. I am still feeling unsure of myself and want to set my self up “perfectly” and as a result I did not do any connecting this week.

      3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week? I have become more consistent this week in quieting my mind. Even though I did not connect with an animal with the intention of communicating, I feel that I am making progress in learning how to be quiet.

      4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week? I am still lacking confidence and am afraid to try for fear of failure. I know that I cannot develop my skills without practice. I feel overwhelmed at times and am trying to keep a balance. This past week I focused on meditation and quieting my mind. this will help me be more ready to try connecting.

      5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the Featured Animal in the Discussion with that animal if you have not already done so. Not yet–will try to do so before end of week.

      6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not? no–I have been focusing on meditation this week and quieting my mind.

      1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?
We have a meditation before the service at church. I led that meditation. We have another meditation during the service where I stand around the congregation holding the space. I have had several times of just sitting quietly as meditation as well.

      2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not? I continue to attempt to connect with my cats. They communicate to me very effectively when they want to play red dot – they go to the chest where I keep it and stare at it. They are also knocking the mouse and other things off of the computer table to get my attention. I do want to establish AC with them so we can communicate more effectively.

      3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week? Nothing – despite deciding over and over that I want to do this, I don’t take the steps I know I need to take – the steps in this post.

      4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week?
Just getting around to doing it. I’ve spent a day at the eye doctor’s for tests, I’ve spent time getting my car repaired, etc. It seems these things take all the time and nothing else happens.

      5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the Featured Animal in the Discussion with that animal if you have not already done so. No, I have not attempted to connect since the Q&A call where I was not very successful.

      6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not? No, once again I did not even think about the games. Not high on my to do list.

      1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?

Practising presence and focus throughout the day.

      2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?

I lost another cat this week. Cream told me he was not feeling well, but refused treatment. He let me know his life purpose was completed and said his transition will be fast. I sat with him for a while, thanked him for being part of my life, and wished him an easy transition. Shortly after he was bleeding heavily from his right ear. He stopped eating and drank only very little. 2 days later, last night, he was bleeding from his mouth and died today in the early morning hours.

Micky had squeezed out of the kennel door, when I tried to enter 1 week ago. The whole week I rarely caught a glimpse of him. I connected various times to let him know I will not try to force him to come back inside, but he should show up every now and then so that I know he is OK. 2 days ago I saw him running through the yard and again through the fence into the field. Yesterday night he came towards me. I had the impression he wanted to come back and opened the door for him, but he turned round and run away. 2 hours later, while I was in the kitchen preparing their food, I heard a lot of noise from the bedroom. I finished the food and distributed it. Then I went to the bedroom and found Micky sitting on my chair. Everything from the windowsill and the shelves was scattered on the floor. Some items were broken and the cat door in the window was broken. When I asked Micky why he didn’t come in by the door and made such a mess instead, he told me he wanted to make sure that I understand he came back because he wanted to, not because I asked him.

      3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week?

      Nothing new

      4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week?

Doubt when I receive from sick animals that they don’t want treatment, because they are preparing to transition.

      5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the Featured Animal in the Discussion with that animal if you have not already done so.

      No time

      6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?

      No games.

Klaudia, my condolences on your recent animals’ transitions. How wonderful for them to have have spent time in your love and care and that they can share their wishes for transition on their terms.
And congratulations and the stamina to understand the likes such as Micky, his own cat.

      1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?

I did a gratitude meditation for a few minutes each morning.

      2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?

I connected with a dog who had been left at a boarding kennel for almost 4 weeks. She didn’t understand why her person was not around or why she was around all of these other unknown strange dogs. I explained her family went away on a holiday and tried to make sure she was being looked after. They only wanted the best for her. She told me how sad and lonely she felt. She missed her life and her family. Although she was not abused in any way, she felt neglected. She barked and barked and barked some more but no one listened. She barked so much it hurt her throat. I did the Ho’oponopono Technique and told her I would explain how she felt to her person and next time her family goes away, we will talk to her first. She gave a sigh of relief.

      3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week?

This week I celebrate that every day I learn something new.

      4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week?

The challenge I had this week was that I had a lot in my mind and it was more difficult to focus. It took more effort than usual to do so.

      5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results.

Yes and I posted my results.

      6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?

Not this week. Moving forward, I really need to make more of an effort to do this.

      1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?

Yes I did 4 meditations, silent and guided. About 20 minutes each.

      2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?

Yes, with the horses and Daisy who went to a new home and is doing really well. I was so worried about how she would adjust and she’s in love with their male dog. She no longer has to be jealous of her sister Angel or me. So relieved that it worked out. I talked to Daisy about where she was going and gave her all the details as it went along. It went very smooth. I am still surprised.

      3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week?

That it really makes my life easier when you prepare the animals for what to expect. Today we have cement trucks and lots of noise and the horses are in the pastures not freaking out. Even the baby.

      4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week?

      Busy mind and schedule.

      5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the Featured Animal in the Discussion with that animal if you have not already done so.

Not yet, hope to on the class call.

      6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?
      Not this week.

      1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?
5-20 minutes of silent sitting on daily basis.
      2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?
      Not really.
      3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week?
      None
      4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week?
It’s funny, when I connect for free to a dog that I dog walk or cat sit and tell the owner of what I perceived. They seem not to agree of what I pick up.
When I connect with an animal here, I am mainly spot on. Why is this? I do trust what I pick up from my customer’s dog or cat. I really wonder about this. Is it because they didn’t book me or ask to AC. I only offered to connect with their pet. The request didn’t come from them. Non-believer?
Did anybody made experiences like this.
      5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the Featured Animal in the Discussion with that animal if you have not already done so.
      Planning to do it later.
      6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not? Forgot

      Accountability questions Feb 1 – 7 2020

      1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?
***** Yes. Every day. Have been doing some important clearing work with a friend for an issue that’s arisen with a business I’m associated with. I’ve also been continuing with the Ho’oponopono meditations. To be honest there are times when there are nights and parts of my day that seem like a continuous meditation.

      2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?
******** Yes. Further brief but beautiful exchanges with Jasper. Where we’re just sharing loving space. Also connected with Miss Mathilda today following her conversation with Jo. She was on a high! She was so thrilled to be doing this work. Also tuned into Star for Sharon, such an amazing presence that beautiful cat. She’s like a high priestess. And poor Abby who was in such pain from her surgery. That was very intense connecting with her. I didn’t have much time available but I was able to send her some healing relief, which she asked for. I also had a stern word with a magpie who swooped us this morning. He looked a bit taken a back actually, lol, and he flew off away from us.

      3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week?
*********The wonderful conversations with my fellow communicators in the group discussion. Just brilliant to be able to share, uncensored, my thoughts and experiences, whilst at the same time have clear and grounded exchanges. I also feel better about my current level of abilities with the communication. I’d been feeling pretty down, unfavourably comparing myself with folks who are amazingly skilled. But then I’m beginning to realise that I bring my own unique qualities and that this journey is my journey and it will unfold and take the form that it needs to. Oh and the complete thrill of having Mathilda chosen as FAT for February!

      4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week?
******* Well before the realisation described above I was feeling a bit lost and overwhelmed. How am I going to translate this work into an income generating career? Will I actually be good enough etc. I still have some of these questions.

      5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the Featured Animal in the Discussion with that animal if you have not already done so.
******* Well I’ve been honoured to be able to put Mathilda forward for February. So I’ve been having more interactions with her which have been lovely but also very poignant at times because I still miss her physical presence very much.

      6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?
****** Oh dear. No I haven’t. To be honest they don’t appeal to lot to me. I’d rather be tuning into my intuition as I go about my daily tasks, especially when preparing for appointments with clients etc.

      1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?

Yes, I meditate morning and night usually using guided meditations with my Insight Timer app. I had a unsettling time with my pony the end of last week and learned from Pam who talked with her that she is reacting to my fears. So, I decided to do some meditations about fear, self care, calming, opening intuition and always the Ho’Oponopono prayer and mantra. I also do two Reiki meditations every day. My meditation times are usually about 10-30 minutes.

      2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?

I talked with Pollyanna, my pony. I know she listens to me and since Pam talked with her, she is being more obedient. I am still using a chain over her nose to ensure she is a good girl. I feel that she understands what I am saying and feel we are bonding but I haven’t gotten messages back from her, yet.

      3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week?

I am starting to get intuitive hits. Yay! I also celebrate that I have a friend in Pam who keeps me accountable and we help boost each other up.

      4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week?

I know I need to watch my self talk and slip from time to time. I need to keep it positive.

      5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the Featured Animal in the Discussion with that animal if you have not already done so.

No, I haven’t talked with Matilda yet. I hope to connect on Saturday’s call.

      6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?

I played with the card deck but did terrible. Anything I get a hit on I celebrate. This week the actor Kirk Douglas popped into my head, and yesterday I learned that he passed away at the age of 103. How unusual that I thought of him, possibly the day he passed away. 🙁

      1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?

my morning meditations have been off and on. I have only spent about 15 -25 min a day in seated meditations per day; though as noted below I am finding myself doing/being in a meditative state when I listen to my I Am CD while I am doing mundane cleaning, cat care, as well as my artwork. Yesterday at drum circle, I went into an altered state while doing a practice beat and it was Awesome, my shaman energy is wanting to come out.

      2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?

Have been working a lot with my babes at home, especially Novia and she is doing much better since my talk with Val. I had a long talk with Sally’s Pollyanna and found a connection between some of her behaviors being linked to some old fears Sally has in her subconscious.

      3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week?

My sisters and I are doing ATC (art trading cards) and my creativity is blossoming. I listen to my I Am CD by Jonathan Goldman and I move into a beautiful quiet, meditative space with my art creations. I realize how many forms meditation takes on. And, I love my relationship with Sally – we are helping and cheering each other on to do better.

      4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week?

Balancing my life. I get sidetracked with work, though I am practicing body scanning more intently with clients and am finding my hands doing movements that I have never done before and am more targeted with finding key ‘unlocking points’ with my peeps. I feel drained after massaging and before I know it the day is done.

      5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the Featured Animal in the Discussion with that animal if you have not already done so.

No, I did not at all talk to Dibbs this month, I don’t know why.

      6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?

A few times with deck of cards. Had several interesting intuitive things happen: A client popped into my mind that I have not seen in months and so I texted him immediately, and he texted back saying, “oh wow, I went to my phone to text you asking if we can set up appt and here is your text”. Another, I lost my bear key chain a few weeks ago, and I had a nudge to call my office landlord just a couple days ago, I did and found that someone gave it to her for safe keeping. I was looking previously in the wrong direction. There was another one, but now I cant think of it. Anyway, some flow is happening.

Pam, Pammie, Pammie Jean, Pamela.... you can call me any of these names.

      1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?

      Yes breath awareness.

      2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?

Yes but I’d like to do more this week. Yesterday I found huge pools of blood on the snow at the end of my driveway. based on my forensics as well as attempts to connect with the animal who had died there…I believe she he was a porcupine hit by a snowplow. I touched the blood in my attempt to feel the engergy. I just felt the neutral and joyful energy of crossing into the light.

      3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week?

Seeing my animals after 2 1/2 weeks out of town. We connected telepathically while I was gone of course. Also, litter box successes.

      4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week?

      Nothing I can think of

      5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the Featured Animal in the Discussion with that animal if you have not already done so.

I will tomorrow morning before call.

      6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?

Yes I got my niece and nephew to play psychic card games with me … they loved it, just good fun and a healthy engaging way to hang out together …
