–> It’s Time to Practice with the Accountability Game!
Ready to earn special bonus private coaching time with Val? Here’s how:
One of the most important things to help you stay on track with your goals is to be accountable on a regular basis. To help you with that, once a week please answer these simple questions listed below.
This practice is designed to help you become more consciously aware of your journey, to celebrate your successes and share any perceived “failures” so they can be acknowledged, healed and cleared. Mistakes are a necessary part of the journey. There are no right answers here and this is not a test. Just do your best. Doing this exercise will help you improve your skills and be more consciously aware at all times. Remember this is a journey, not a destination. The idea is for you to stay conscious and make progress.
NOTE: All students are invited to play, but only Gold and Platinum Club Members are eligible to earn the Accountability private Coaching Session Awards (value $125).
Here’s how Gold and Platinum Members earn your sessions:
1) Stay Accountable. Each week there will be a new Accountability Discussion for the time period of Saturday through Friday to which you can post any day of the week. You are invited to report on you efforts, progress and frustrations during the week since your last post. You don’t have to have perfect results. It is more important that you are trying, taking action and sharing what’s happening for you.
2) When you’ve completed 12 consecutive weeks of accountability posts you will receive an email from the Coaching Club Moderator with the Subject “Congratulations – you’ve earned a coaching session with Val.” This email will be sent after the new week’s Accountability Discussion has been posted to the Forum. If you miss a week, just start your count over the next week.
3) In the Congratulations email, you’ll receive instructions on how to schedule. Use your time for animal communication mentoring, healing, and/or Val’s help working with your own animal(s).
4) Post each week during the Saturday to Friday timeframe. All posts are automatically time stamped and should align with the appropriate week to apply toward earning a free session with Val. Note: You can’t wait for 3 months then do 12 week’s worth of reporting in 1 week! Having the practice over time will strengthen your Animal Communication intuitive muscles.
MEMBER POSTING INSTRUCTIONS: Just copy these 6 questions into your comment below and answer them. Then click Post.
1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?
2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?
3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week?
4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week?
5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the Featured Animal in the Discussion with that animal if you have not already done so.
6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?
Tip: To copy the questions, highlight the text and type ctrl-C (hold down the ctrl key and type a C) then place the cursor in the Reply box and use ctrl-V to paste.
Remember the weekly posting period runs from Saturday through noon 12:00pm Central (Texas) United States Friday which is the same as 5pm in system time shown at the top of your posts (it is the Universal Time (Greenwich, UK)). You can check your own time using the Time Zone converter at:
https://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/converter-classic.html
Note: Silver members can Upgrade to Gold or Platinum membership at any time by emailing Support@ValHeart.com and letting us know. Put Upgrade in the subject line.
While only posts answering the above questions count as Accountability Posts, you are welcome to comment on anyone else’s posts. We are here to learn from and inspire each other too! Provide feedback to others and we will learn together.
Much love, Barb & Val

1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you? Yes.I have been meditating daily–I try to do 10-20 minutes a day. I have been starting with Honopono(sp??) prayer as I find this gets me into a peaceful mind frame. I try to focus my prayer on different beings each day–sometimes onto myself. I then go through a list of things that I am grateful for. I am trying to practice an Attitude of Gratitude.
2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not? Yes. I did try to connect with another horse at my barn. She told me that she is happy but is missing time with her human who is ill and can no longer ride. However, she is happy with my horse Monty and the two of them have become good friends.
3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week? Celebrating some positive feedback on my communication with teacher of the month. Also, have finally connected with other student friends and am establishing a network for support on this journey.
4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week? I am still struggling with trusting what I am receiving. I also am having trouble quieting my mind. I can do ok during my morning meditation but if I try to connect later in the day, I am very distracted.
5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the Featured Animal in the Discussion with that animal if you have not already done so. Yes. I received positive feedback from the owner and this has boosted my confidence.
6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not? Yes. I played the deck of card game and surprised my self. I was not only getting about 75% on the colour but even got the correct suit several times. This was a huge confidence booster for me.

1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?
Short exercises to be present throughout the day.
2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?
My little blind cat Zuckerpuppe got very sick Saturday night coughing or vomitting blood. She told me she was in pain and felt horrible and then she said her time to leave had come. I cleaned her, which she liked, and then I sat with her, stroking her and telling her it is ok to go and wishing her a quick and easy transition. Sunday over day she quickly deteriorated and Monday in the early morning hours she transitioned.
Last night Micky slipped out again, when I got into the kennel for cleaning. I told him I will not chase him. If he wants to come back inside, he has to come to a door and call me. So far, I have not seen him since he disappeared into the fields behind the house.
3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week?
I started working on my website and wrote down some ideas for blogs.
4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week?
As always, lack of time resulting in difficulty to focus and relax.
5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the Featured Animal in the Discussion with that animal if you have not already done so.

1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?
Yes, I did but I only did a quick morning meditation twice.
2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?
My husband drove to the stores a few miles away and told me there was a spider on his car. This spider he noticed before he left and saw it was still there when he got home. I went to try and communicate with the spider but he had nothing to say to me. The next morning I saw he was still on the car. I asked if he was stuck and he replied “No, are you?” I laughed and told him I WAS stuck for a while but not any more. I asked if he wanted to be moved but he said it was cool where he was and he liked it there. He had nothing more to say so I let him be. Later that day I checked and he was longer there.
3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week?
This week I celebrate that I have this accountability every week. It brings me back to my passion even for a short time when life gets busy. I know that it is essential for me to make more time and I celebrate that I acknowledge that.
4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week?
The challenge I had this week was that I really needed to get my mind settled. I knew that I should take more time to meditate and quiet my mind chatter but instead I just got caught up and did not take time to do so.
5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results.
I attempted to do so but when I went into the forum I got caught up on reading all the amazing posts and replies instead.
6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?
Not this week. My mind was too preoccupied.

1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you? Yes, I’m not sure how many times or how long. I did work with Alicia Hamilton recently and have been shielding myself with sage and I thought things that I wanting the saging to accomplish-I guess I was meditating then. I also centered. After the Masterclass Call, meditating has really clicked for me in that I learned since I’m claigcognisant I need to think for meditating (but just simple things)
2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not? Yes, my cats, birds, a turtle, and a BIG bee. Also, with some trees who were being cut some. I could sense them crying and I appologized to them. With my cats-they understood. Serenity was caught on a bag handle and she stayed where she was and let me calmly take it off of her. Hawkeye understood, too. The bee understood, too! The communication has all be AMAZING! Oh! I also did with Tina and Alicia confirmed what could be confirmed-I don’t remember if I did that last accountability though.
3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week? The AWESOME things that have happened-communication with Serenity when caught on the bag, communication with the bee and Hawkeye, and the fact that meditation has now clicked for me!
4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week? Nothing new.
5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the Featured Animal in the Discussion with that animal if you have not already done so. Not yet-time and lack of energy perhaps and maybe not planning well-not sure. I hope to though on Saturday 🙂
6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not? Yes, if it counts with the bee, Tina, or the tree.

Accountability questions 25 to 31 January
1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?
****** Yes i meditated every day. Usually the morning. Have been undertaking the Joe Vitale Ho’oponopono course this week so it’s been a very intensive meditative week for me.2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?
********* Had a very gentle exchange with my Jasper about the previous lifetime experience he had of the man throwing a bomb at him and his owner (which killed them both). I could see a place like Aleppo when he showed me the event. This is something we’re gradually chipping away at. He gets very agitated when he sees lone men in the distance on our walks, especially if they’re a bit edgy in the energy department. And popping sounds really freak him out (though mortar shell activity in the army training camp nearby don’t phase him). We certainly got to a deeper level in this conversation. He felt guilty that he hadn’t kept his owner safe. Poor little guy.3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week?
*********. I really enjoyed the platinum master class. I look forward to practicing more.4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week?
********** Finding the time and energy to devote to my studies.5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the Featured Animal in the Discussion with that animal if you have not already done so.
*********** no I didn’t. I need to make the time to do so6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?
************. No. Not those exercises. I have practiced intuitive communication with a girl friend in another city -

1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?
Yes, I meditate morning and night. I also do Reiki meditations to prepare me for self healing. The meditations I have been doing are guided ones. Mostly to help me feel peaceful and centered. I meditate between 10 and 30 minutes each sitting.
2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?
Yes, I did a distance Reiki session for Pam’s kitty Novia. I asked her if she was mirroring Pam as she was having hind leg pain. I told her if she was, that is not her job. She is to give love to Pam, not take on her issues. She said “Oh!”
3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week?
Communication is starting to happen!!! I received some “knowing” information unrelated to animal communication. I am celebrating that!!!
4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week?
How long to wait between asking a question and expecting to receive an answer or get information. I may be too impatient.
5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the Featured Animal in the Discussion with that animal if you have not already done so.
No, unfortunately, the week flew by, just didn’t. I had intended to. 🙁
6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?
Pam and I played with playing cards. I guessed the suit correctly but not the number or face very often. If nothing else, we had fun.

1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?
Only a couple of days did I do my 1hr to 90min morning sessions, though do grounding, centering a mini meditations daily. I have been listening daily, for long periods when I am home to a wonderful CD by Jonathan Goldman titled The Divine Name: I Am, it puts me in such an incredibly calm state and I am realizing that meditation is not only sitting in pose ‘doing’ it, but also going about normal house activities in a more meditative space and this CD aids me nicely. Too, I am finding/feeling my cats are calmer when I play it. I put it on as I leave the house to go to work for the kitties, it runs about an hour.
2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?
Had a couple interactions with Patricia’s new kitty Shy, it was another eye opening experience that tells me yet again how wise animals are. Spent time with Novia in trying to understand her ailments from a different light/aspect/awareness. I feel she is not only calling for help for herself, esp in the physical, but also calling for help to wake me up more and let her in to allowing her help to guide me in this work and in my own personal growth.
3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week?
Little by little I am feeling a bit more confidence in my communications/readings. I do however, need to Be More On Purpose with regard to balancing my life; believe and strive for having the ability to do my work to earn income, take care of home and kitties, study more, read more, talk with more animals. I am the only one who ever puts a halt on my movement – I claim it, I can change it. I celebrate that I received $125 from a woman from Spain on a communication I did with her dog Chillin.
4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week?
My challenge that is showing up more is my lack of self worth. I have known on many levels this is a big issue, and this week Patricia Rendon spotted it and now it seems really big and a scary piece to handle within my psyche. Got some more work ahead of me.
Jeez, the work is never ending.I have a question about communication style and how my higher self intuits; I will address it in the Gold Club questions today. My big challenge remains to be about self trust. Also, it seems that when I am on cloud 9 after doing a communication and the human expresses their joy and thankfulness with what I received, I feel so High and Happy, but then the next day or two I plummet into extreme lows; its like I still have an inner battle going on which I must address the deeper underlying issues. I think I have more of a fear of success than I do failure. ouch! that is debilitating.
5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the Featured Animal in the Discussion with that animal if you have not already done so.
no dang it, I thought would last Friday, but distractions took me over. I will try again today or this week-end to visit and get it reported for Lori.
6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?
Played with deck of cards a few minutes the other day with Sally, we both did only mediocre. We always have giggles which breaks up any bad feeling vibes that creep in at our inabilities.
Pam, Pammie, Pammie Jean, Pamela.... you can call me any of these names.

1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?
*I meditate regularly, skip 1 or 2 times this week, sometimes i get so involved with what I am doing I have to skip. I went to group meditation a few times this week which really enrich and deepen my experience.
2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?
*I tried to connect in person with the horses I work with but without success, nothing was coming, one of the horse, his name is Shooter, turn around and gave me his butt, I laugh, I think it says it all!
Domino was having a hard time on Thursday but I could not help him either.
I also always connect with my 2 cats and trying to get more clarity and answers.
3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week?.*I am happy I finally was able to have a coaching session with Val, it was good to be understood and I feel a relief and a motivation to keep going which calls for celebration for me.
4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week?*doing it, sitting down and be quiet and connect. I feel overwhelmed with all I have to do and spending time with people and I get tired and the day is over… also because I am living by myself I feel this resistance, like I don’t want to be by myself some more. if it makes sense and for that reason I really want to be able to do it in person.
5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the Featured Animal in the Discussion with that animal if you have not already done so.
*no, I haven’t. I had so much on my plate I did not get to it for some of the reasons mention above.
6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?*play the card game, sometimes I was wrong sometimes I was right and sometimes the card was shown to me, I could see it and name it right and then back to wrong and right again, there was a lot of variation in my result.

The time stamp is Coordinated Universal Time (UTC) which is used as the official world reference for time. [Coordinated Universal Time replaced the use of Greenwich Mean Time (GMT) in 1972.] This provides consistency across time zones around the world.

1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?
I practiced breath awareness while surfing the challenges of visiting family and negativity beyond my direct control. All i can do is control my own energy/thoughts/vibe through breath and being witness.
2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?
Yes with my Cats back home in Alaska. I am going to connect with Novia this evening. I said hello to some birds 🙂
3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week?
Feeling palpable connections with my cats telepathically.
4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week?
hmmm i can’t think of anything right this second.
5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the Featured Animal in the Discussion with that animal if you have not already done so.
I did not connect with Dibs this week. I will tune in tonight since his time in the spotlight is nearing completion and a new animal teacher appears!
6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?
Yes I played psychic games with angel cards, with my 57 year old cousin whom i did a reflexology session with. Pretty cool, as she asked me about my work, my knowledge of chakras, and just in general had a genuine openhearted connection about the metaphysical … which doesn’t typically happen with family members. My mom however did express alot of interest in chakra color therapy today after our Reiki Session. She said she is a Great Visualizer, which is true, she is a natural meditator, so I can imagine she will enjoy working with colors as she relaxes.

@berenice-nelson Hi Berenice. I think the time difference is due to being in the time zone Val is in (CST). I think. There might be another reason though.

Thanks for responding, Martha. The system uses Universal Time (the 0:00 base is geographically in England) as it’s standard clock to be consistent around the world without wavering for Daylight Savings, etc.

You all are doing amazing work!
Yes, it takes practice and patience.
And there are thrills and spills, not to mention some laughs. Who knew spiders had a crazy sense of humor with built in wisdom. My friend’s long time dog, Georgia, transitioned yesterday and it was such a gift to be able to check in with Georgia and share the messages with my friend. Tears were shed and hearts began healing. I still feel like I’m a rookie yet moments like these remind me of our important work we are sharing with the world.

The Accountability posts are due by noon Central time on Friday for the week beginning the prior Saturday. So for Pacific time, 10 am Friday is the official time.
The purpose of accountability is to encourage regular practicing throughout each week.
You can post any time during the week, you don’t have to wait until the last minute. Some members, for example, have enjoyed posting on Tuesdays.
