–> Ready to Practice with the Accountability Game? –> Ready to earn special bonus time with Val? Here’s how to do do both:
One of the most important things to help you stay on track with your goals is to be accountable on a regular basis. To help you with that, once a week please answer these simple questions listed below.
This practice is designed to help you become more consciously aware of your journey, to celebrate your successes and share any perceived “failures” so they can be acknowledged, healed and cleared. Mistakes are a necessary part of the journey. There are no right answers here and this is not a test. Just do your best. Doing this exercise will help you improve your skills and be more consciously aware at all times. Remember this is a journey, not a destination. The idea is for you to stay conscious and make progress.
NOTE: Gold and Platinum Club Members are Eligible to Earn the Accountability Bonus Call Award (a live small group coaching session with Val and the month’s other Accountability Bonus Award winners). Here’s how Gold and Platinum Members earn their sessions:
1) Stay Accountable. Each week there will be a new Accountability Discussion for the time period of Saturday through Friday to which you can post any day of the week. You are invited to report on you efforts, progress and frustrations during the week since your last post. You don’t have to have perfect results. It is more important that you are trying, taking action and sharing what’s happening for you.
2) When you’ve completed 12 consecutive weeks of accountability posts you will receive an email from the Coaching Club Moderator with the Subject “Congratulations – you’ve earned a bonus session with Val.” This email will be sent after the new week’s Accountability Discussion has been posted to the Forum. If you miss a week, just start your count over the next week. (Note: All students will benefit from this exercise. However, you must be a Gold or Platinum Member to earn bonus session with Val.)
3) In the Congratulations email, you’ll receive instructions on how to participate. Use your time for animal communication mentoring, healing, and/or Val’s help working with your own animal(s).
4) Post each week during the Saturday to Friday timeframe. All posts are automatically time stamped and should align with the appropriate week to apply toward earning a free session with Val. Note: You can’t wait for 3 months then do 12 week’s worth of reporting in 1 week! Having the practice over time will strengthen your Animal Communication muscles.
MEMBER POSTING INSTRUCTIONS: Just copy these 5 questions into your comment below and answer them. Then click Post.
1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?
2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?
3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week?

Angela, I moved your post over to the correct date discussion thread which had somehow become less visible when I tried to stick it to top of the discussion list. I’ve now changed that so should be more visible to all.

1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? I spent about 1 hour every day in meditation, doing manta meditation; heart meditation, breath meditation and bodyscanning meditation.
2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not? Yes I have communicated with two horses this week. They both had several physical issues that came up. The humans of one of the horses took it to the Vet after my communication as it seemed that the information I gave was matching up with what they had been thinking about and the horse was showing up/behaving in ways i described for them. I have not received feedback yet.
3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week? That I have received very good feedback on physical issues I have been picking up recently. Vets and body worker has found what I have described and it has been making a difference for the animal and their human. And that I am willing to put my self out there trying to help animal who needs physical attention and help even though I get so stressed out that I want to quit and never do it again. It takes a lot of courage for me to do it. Taking one step at a time dealing with my fear that is coming up no matter how deep it is.
4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week? Fear kicking in at a very deep and persistent level when I do animal communications.
5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? No, I hd my hands full with the horses I had taken on to communicate with.
6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not? No, I have still not gotten to explore the games. This week my main intention was to keep up my meditations and add to it communication with animals.

4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week? Asking deeper questions and connecting with animals who are near me physically.
5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the featured animal in the Discussion of that animal if you have not already done so. No. Very busy with referrals.

1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?
I spent about 1/2 hour in total meditating.
I did 3 gratitude morning mediations.2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week?
Yes, I did. I was leaving my house around 11:30 pm to go to work and the end of my driveway on a small grassy patch, I saw there was a small bird who was just sleeping. I quietly asked if he was ok as he didn’t move as I approached him and I thought he might be injured or sick. Much to my surprise, he woke up and said “ I am ok, why do you ask?” I explained that it was unusual to see a bird at that hour and he went on to tell me he was sitting there waiting for me. He said he knew I would see him so he could tell me something. When I asked what that was, he then went on to thank me for caring about all the birds that have been visiting me. I thanked him for giving me that beautiful message.
3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week?
I would like to celebrate that I received such a beautiful message from the bird ( in question 2).
4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week? The challenge I had this week was that I found it a bit difficult to have my mind focused but perhaps I was trying too hard and that worked against me.
5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results.Yes, I did and posted my results.
6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?I had a set of mini tennis balls all of which were different colours. I thought of the colour green , closed my eyes and picked out a ball but it was blue. I tried a second time and picked a green one.

1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?
Some short sessions – present moment, centering, grounding
2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?
I tried to talk with the young cats that have just been spayed / neutered, but did not get any answers. Not sure, if I didn’t pick up on them or if they really didn’t answer.
3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week?
That I keep trying, even with setbacks and frustrating experience.
4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week?
I had difficulties focusing. Lately I have a lot going on, a couple of sick cats making a lot of extra work, all youngsters I took in for spaying came back with flue, I lost 2 cats over the last week, closing off the kitchen for the cats as I found it increasingly difficult to cope with them soiling and destroying things, the last few days we had heavy rain and I had water in the utility room to which the animals still have access …. all this leading to hardly getting any sleep at all.
5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the featured animal in the Discussion of that animal if you have not already done so.
Only during the call last Saturday.
6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?
No time for games.

1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?
I’m still participating in the 10% Happier meditations that lasts for 15 days. I missed last nite because I got a message that I had used almost all of my data allowance for the month on my phone, so have to go to wi-fi for a few days. Still sitting in silence after those meditations for as long as I can stay “in the zone”. Again, about 50% on my sitting in silence in the mornings for an hour.
2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?
The past 5 days (excluding today) I have been transporting via a humane trap the cutest little voles from one of my couches where they’ve been living for who knows how long to a brush pile outside. They gave themselves away by eating the sunflower seeds out of the bird seed in the feeders I was bringing in at night. When I took #6 outside yesterday, I asked the mouse collective how many more were left in the couch. I got “several”. This morning there was nobody in the trap, so I don’t know if the rest are afraid to get in the trap or if that was the last one. Maybe they misunderstood the question? Or maybe my mind just gave me an answer? Gonna leave the trap out for a while and see what happens. I would have liked to have more of a conversation with them, but I was always on my way to feed my horses, and they were eager to get out of the trap when I took them outside.
3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week?
I keep trying.
4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week?
Nothing new.
5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the featured animal in the Discussion of that animal if you have not already done so.
Not an actual conversation, but both on our call on Saturday and again today when I look at Sammi’s picture, I get the impression that in a former life he was my very first kitty named Tommy. I look at Sammi and I see Tommy.
6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?
No, just trying to stay open to messages if/when I get them.

1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?
5-20 minutes silent sitting or any mindful meditation.
2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?
I connected with a dog that just got adopted. They hired me as their daily dog walker and sent me a picture of her in advance. I connected with her and introduced myself and asked her how is she doing. All of a sudden I perceived a big wave of sadness, heart brokeness and totally confusion that it got tears in my eys. This was definetly not my emotion. I talked to her and explained the situation and that she has a very loving home and that it was not her fault that she couldn’t return to her old home. I think she stayed with an older lady before.
3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week?
Just the ability to be able to connect with animals but still like to improve.
4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week?
To be able to have a deeper conversation and inside of the animal.
5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the featured animal in the Discussion of that animal if you have not already done so.
Not yet. Time just flies so fast.
6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not? Didn’t think about it. -

1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you? Yes, I meditated. I thanked the Universe for various things and asked the Universe for various things. I do not know how many times, nor do I know how long.
2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not? Yes, I did with my cats and I asked them things and they answered at least sometimes and they understood me. I also did with pigeons and got responses from them. I also did with a human client’s two cats whose souls passed on. I asked them things the human wanted to know and they also told me things from their lives as the human’s cats.
3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week? I’m not sure when I first did it (recently) but I think I basically consulted with my higher self.
I am as I write this. I greeted him and he greeted me. He then put a white light around me. He said he blessed me.
He said that this week he’s been so happy (which is nothing new for him). He said he’s been enjoying lounging in soft blankets and sunning when there is sun. He said one of the other animal was a bit mischievous in antics this week.
He said he’s a good boy and you, Robin, tell him that often.
He said he’s not big on getting in laps, but got in your lap when you rescued him from the shelter.
He said he lifts you up, Robin, when you’re down-which isn’t often-and gives off energy that can calm anyone. He sad he can turn anyone into a cat lover if they’re not already.
He just sent me an image of him sitting like Buddha again meditating.
He said you’ve wondered if he meditates, and he wants to confirm that he meditates every day. He said one of his soul’s purposes in this life is to share wisdom and help heal the world and any being in his presence who needs healing.
I wish you, Sammi, and the rest of your bunch a purrrfect weekend!
6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not? I did and posted it for Helene Fagerberg to see.

1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you? I had meditations as part of various teleconference calls and my church service. So nearly every day I experienced a meditation of one sort or another.
2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not? Only the communication with the FAT during the call.
3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week? I was able to communicate with the FAT on the call.
4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week? Nothing
5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? 1. MEDITATIONS: TYPES, TIMES
Yet again, not enough. Ten minutes quiet in the morning and before each time prior to attempt to connect with an animal daily. Sometimes, though, the quiet shades into a connection; sometimes, with my cats, just attempt to connect immediately, e.g., Hold that pose, Julie-Belle! Because there are so many options for meditations, I have to make a weekly plan for each day and stick to it.
2. CONNECT WITH INTENTION TO COMMUNICATE
Julie-Belle’s licked-chewed bald patch is covering with fur rapidly; even the red spot is gone. Janie-Kate went into a carrier for the vet appointment with minimum resistance for the first time, so maybe she accepted my message that the annual visit was necessary and less fuss was better. Julie-Belle goes in with minimum fuss, but may “travel” that carrier from the table to the floor, as she did this week.
3. CELEBRATE
a. Golden nugget from 1/12 Q&A: to facilitate conversation, one might need to go up to one’s own higher self (eighth chakra?) and that of the animal. It may help to do a maximum stretch as a member’s cat was doing during the call.
b. The awesome results members have posted, e.g., Barb G with Alicia’s horses and Patricia B’s with Kemo. Also, the heroic, ongoing efforts of those with many animals, e.g., Klaudia S and Robin S.
c. Mother and daughter in #2 above.
4. CHALLENGES, QUESTIONS
The steroid shots stopped most of Julie-Belle’s and Janie-Kate’s scratching, but a shot is effective for only a month, maybe two. I have to learn what causes this allergy and/or find a less expensive than ~$40/shot way to treat it.
Have to connect with eighth chakra.
5. FAT COMMUNICATION
Will post before noon with Robin S’s Sammi.
6. INTUITION GAMES
2/10 correct guessing odd or even with die cube. Set intention for at least 8/10 correct. Got first two correct and then the feeling that the next eight would be wrong as they were!

1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you? 4x15min meditations on self-forgiveness, Val’s meditation on the Q&A call & a 30min guided meditation
2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not? Just on the call this week
3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week? I was pleased that I was able to connect with the FAT’s fox archetype
4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week? Time. It takes me a long time to prepare myself for animal communication – meditating, grounding, then connecting, so I have to find a good period of time when it is quiet to fit it in. My daughter has been in a show this week, so I’ve not had a lot of free time to do it.
5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the featured animal in the Discussion of that animal if you have not already done so. Yes on the call. I shared my communication on the call.
6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not? I tried guessing the colour and suit of the cards this week, but wasn’t very accurate. -

1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating?
Yes, I have been meditating about an hour a day. Heart meditations, praye rmeditations and mantrabased meditations.2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?
Yes, I had two paid communications this week that needed my attention. They both showed me physical issues that needed attention and treatement in different ways. The horses also gave input on how they experience being ridden and what they needed at tis point. One of the horses has alredy been to the Vet as the horse requested and the the stomach issues that the horse was talking about turned out to be ulcers. Further investigation will be done as soon as the ulcers has been adressed.3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week?
That I have started to do paid communications.4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week?
Same as last week.5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not?
No, I had my hands full with the paid communications.6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not? No, had no time for it.
