–> Ready to Practice with the Accountability Game? –> Ready to earn special bonus time with Val? Here’s how to do do both:
One of the most important things to help you stay on track with your goals is to be accountable on a regular basis. To help you with that, once a week please answer these simple questions listen below.
This Game is designed to help you become more consciously aware of your journey, to celebrate your successes and share any perceived “failures” so they can be acknowledged, healed and cleared. Mistakes are a necessary part of the journey. There are no right answers here and this is not a test. Just do your best. Doing this exercise will help you improve your skills and be more consciously aware at all times. Remember this is a journey, not a destination. The idea is for you to stay conscious and make progress.
NOTE: Gold and Platinum Club Members are Eligible to Earn the Accountability Bonus Call Award (a live small group coaching session with Val and the month’s other Accountability Bonus Award winners). Here’s how Gold and Platinum Members earn their sessions:
1) Stay Accountable. Each week there will be a new Accountability Discussion for the time period of Saturday through Friday to which you can post any day of the week. You are invited to report on you efforts, progress and frustrations during the week since your last post. You don’t have to have perfect results. It is more important that you are trying, taking action and sharing what’s happening for you.
2) When you’ve completed 12 consecutive weeks of accountability posts you will receive an email from the Coaching Club Moderator with the Subject “Congratulations – you’ve earned a laser session with Val.” This email will be sent after the new week’s Accountability Discussion has been posted to the Forum. If you miss a week, just start your count over the next week. (Note: All students will benefit from this exercise. However, you must be a Gold or Platinum Member to earn a free session with Val.)
3) In the Congratulations email, you’ll receive instructions on how to participate. Use your time for animal communication mentoring, healing, and/or Val’s help working with your own animal(s).
4) Post each week during the Saturday to Friday timeframe. All posts are automatically time stamped and should align with the appropriate week to apply toward earning a free session with Val. Note: You can’t wait for 3 months then do 12 week’s worth of reporting in 1 week! Having the practice over time will strengthen your Animal Communication muscles.
MEMBER POSTING INSTRUCTIONS: Just copy these 5 questions into your comment below and answer them. Then click Post.
1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?
2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?
3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week?
4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week?
5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the featured animal in the Discussion of that animal if you have not already done so.
6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?
Tip: To copy the questions, highlight the text and type ctrl-C (hold down the ctrl key and type a C) then place the cursor in the Reply box and use ctrl-V to paste.
Remember the weekly posting period runs from Saturday through noon 12:00pm Central (Texas) United States Friday which is the same as 5pm in system time shown at the top of your posts (it is the Universal Time (Greenwich, UK)). You can check your own time using the Time Zone converter at:
https://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/converter-classic.html
Note: Upgrade to Gold or Platinum membership at any time by emailing Support@ValHeart.com and letting us know.
While only posts answering the above questions count as Accountability Posts, you are welcome to comment on anyone else’s posts. We are here to learn from and inspire each other too! Provide feedback to others and we will learn together.
Much love, Barb & Val

1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you? Yes, I spent a total of about 1 ½ hours meditating. The meditations I did were: Gratitude Meditation x 3 / Val’s Soft Focus Meditation
2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not? Yes, I did. I work with a freight company which deals with international imports. Customs does some training in the facility with the dog unit. After one of the dogs finished with his assignment, I was able to communicate with him. He told me he loves doing his job (seeking illegal substances) and especially all the attention he gets when he does well.

My mind was busy and overloaded at the time I tried. I will try again later this week when my mind is a bit quieter.
6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not? 1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?
The last 2 days I meditated a lot. That was more or less the only thing I could do. After I got a draft on my neck and shoulder for an extended period at work on Monday, I was in quite some pain on Tuesday and on Wednesday I was completely knocked out. I got an appointment with the doctor only in the afternoon, so I spent the whole day sitting immobile in my office chair, meditating to cope with the pain. Today was more or less the same until the pain killers finally kicked in this afternoon. Now I can at least move around without screeming out in pain from every movement.
2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?
On Sunday I received a strong (and painful) message from one of my indoor cats. When I returned from our walk with the dogs he squeezed out by the door and run in the garden. I dropped the dog leashes and run after him. A short way from the door he sat down and looked at me. I went over to him and picked him up to carry him back indoors. But although he is usually a very friendly and peaceful boy, he started kicking, scratching and biting. So I had to let him go. To my big surprise he did not run away. Instead he sat there, looking at me. Then he walked qietly to the door of the kennel and asked me to let him in. His message: I stay here voluntarily. You see, I can leave whenever I want, but I am happy here. When I asked him, if it was necessary to give me this message in such a painful way (watching the blood running down my arms), he looked rather cheeky and said: yes, I felt I had to make my point very clear.
3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week?
That it gives me a lot of training in patience and persistence.
4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week?
Nothing new.
5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the featured animal in the Discussion of that animal if you have not already done so.
Not yet, if I can manage to focus under the influence of massive pain killers, I will try durinģ the next few days.
6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?
Monday I played again with the lift at work and expected the correct lift to stop at my floor both times.

1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?
Listened to Ananda Bosman a couple nights, the rest just sat in silence for as long as it seemed to be beneficial. Still practicing Ho’Oponopono as my go-to mantra whenever I catch my mind wandering or starting to think unproductive thoughts.
2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?
No, it’s been another busy, rather quiet week at my house.
3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week?
I would like to celebrate the most quiet “hunting season” I’ve ever experienced living out amongst the wild creatures!! Not sure of the “why”, just really grateful that it’s been so quiet. I can only hope my message got out into the Universe, and they responded to it. It’s also helpful that the hunter closest to me can no longer hold a gun steady enough to kill anyone! (Sorry, but no sympathy from me, Karma can sometimes be a bitch!)
I sent her a greeting when I first signed on today and saw her picture. Nothing came back, so I continued to my posting. I’ll try again on the call or later.
6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?
No time.

1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you? I have meditated several different ways. I offered my monthly Virtual Reiki Evening in which we practice the first meditation I teach in Reiki workshops that consists of breatihng into the hara – belly – and expanding energy on the out breath. I sometimes practice this on my own as well. Other times I just sit in the energy, beathing and setting my intention for the day. I don’t record the times so cannot answer the question on total time as it varies from day to day.
2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not? I have continued to attempt to connect with my own animals without much success.
3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week? Nothing really.
4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week? It was so easy to begin with – it just happened when I offered Animal Reiki for the first times. Now it seems to be a process to do something I did naturally.
5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the featured animal in the Discussion of that animal if you have not already done so. No, not yet.
6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not? Again, no. I forget about playing these games.

1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you? Yes, I meditated by simply trying to be with myself in the moment and in tune to myself. This was a couple of times but for a very short time.
2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not? Yes, my cats and flies. I told my cats when I was going out to do errands and where I’d be going. I told them other things and asked them things. When I communicated with the flies, they were very appreciative that I didn’t harm them and that they could eat and rest on me and rest in general without me harming them.
3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week? Nothing in particular.
Yes, she’s mine.
6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not? Yes, the deck of cards game. On the color I got 8 right out of 23. On the face or no face, I got: 5 right out of 5. For type of suit: I got 2 out of 3 🙂

1. MEDITATION: TYPES, TIMES
Th 10/11: 10.5 minutes online guided meditation. Again misplaced the Levey & Levey CD but found their Mindfulness, Meditation, and Mind Fitness book. Hope to be inspired to better quality and quantity of meditation.
Last year, I attended an entertainment by a mind-reader who was also a pastor. He emphasized he wasn’t a psychic or a magician, but he performed the most amazing feats of mind-reading in a large auditorium (Waco Hippodrome). What could have given him this ability? He told the audience that he was sick with a heart problem for most of his childhood, which caused him to spend much time alone in bed listening to his heart beat. That may have amounted to the thousands of hours of meditation that opened up whatever centers needed opening to see into others’ minds.
2. CONNECT WITH INTENTION TO COMMUNICATE WITH AN ANIMAL
a. Of course, I tried to communicate to my six indoor cars and the outside visitor how long I’d be away, that a flight cancellation caused an extra night’s stay in London, and that I was thinking of them. My return didn’t cause much more excitement than if I’d gone grocery-shopping.
b. At the Cliffs of Moher in Ireland, I listened awhile to a crow or raven sitting on a fence post. When I tried to connect, s/he flew away. At an outdoor table at a Blarney Castle restaurant, my pizza attracted some crows to the table and chairs around the table. For a crow who was hopping around from one location to another and looking directly at me, I put out a piece about a foot away from me but another crow hopped to take it and flew away with the other crows following. That happened again with the pizza and then, in another place, with half an ice cream cone. There were other humans dining outside, but the birds didn’t approach them. I was never close enough to a crow before to see the dark ridge above the beak between (almost above) the eyes.
At an Applegreen convenience store-gas stop, two sisters (maybe eight and six) approached me and after some friendly conversation, said they needed all the change I had–or at least two euros each. I gave them one apiece. Evidently, they were from a whimsically-painted tinker’s wagon (off the grid but on the dole). I guess I seem a sucker because the girls didn’t ask any of the other tourists for money or food.
c. Shoshana, one of the indoor cats, sometimes hits two others, Lily-Grace and Yossi. Yet she does not strike back when the sole male cat, Raven, sniffs and then strikes her. She does want to be in the good graces of Julie-Belle and Raven, the matriarch and the patriarch of the household. I tried to ask, as I’ve done before, Raven how he feels about Shoshana and why he hits her, but I don’t get an answer except maybe that she’s in his way. She does go to where he’s sitting getting attention from me.
3. CELEBRATE
a. I thought I had cause to celebrate when I took Shoshana to the vet because she has been yipping from what I thought was a UTI. Her cries continue, though, after almost $200 of treatments this week. It’s hard to check if she’s been at the main bath litter boxes because when she hears my footsteps, she runs from wherever to me for petting.
b. Celebrate Ireland because the Dublin tour guide, about sixty years old, said that people hunted when he was young. They’ve given that up since a few decades ago because they figured that a rabbit, deer, etc. had done no harm, so why hurt them?
4. CHALLENGES, QUESTIONS
a. I’m sorry I missed accountability posting last week: a flight cancellation at Heathrow Thursday morning because of low visibility (though some also said a terrorist threat) delayed the group’s arrival home until late Friday afternoon. Then I fell into bed with four(?) of the cats and woke up twelve hours later.
b. I couldn’t focus enough–and quickly enough–to try shape-shifting, e.g., with the crows. I wondered if anyone ever did a “snakes on a plane” shape-shifting trick. Our group had mechanical problems, delays, or cancellations at all four airports: DFW, O’Hare, Heathrow, and Dublin (Aerfort Bhaile Átha Cliath); thankfully, once the planes were airborne, the flights were smooth.
c. I still don’t know how to distinguish correct from incorrect messages in attempts at animal communication. They “feel” the same to me.
5. FAT COMMUNICATION
Posted with Serenity.
6. INTUITION GAMES
5 correct of 10 guesses for odd or even with a die. No firm intent or focus.
