–> Ready to Practice with the Accountability Game? –> Ready to earn special bonus time with Val? Here’s how to do do both:
One of the most important things to help you stay on track with your goals is to be accountable on a regular basis. To help you with that, once a week please answer these simple questions listen below.
This Game is designed to help you become more consciously aware of your journey, to celebrate your successes and share any perceived “failures” so they can be acknowledged, healed and cleared. Mistakes are a necessary part of the journey. There are no right answers here and this is not a test. Just do your best. Doing this exercise will help you improve your skills and be more consciously aware at all times. Remember this is a journey, not a destination. The idea is for you to stay conscious and make progress.
NOTE: Gold and Platinum Club Members are Eligible to Earn the Accountability Bonus Call Award (a live small group coaching session with Val and the month’s other Accountability Bonus Award winners). Here’s how Gold and Platinum Members earn their sessions:
1) Stay Accountable. Each week there will be a new Accountability Discussion for the time period of Saturday through Friday to which you can post any day of the week. You are invited to report on you efforts, progress and frustrations during the week since your last post. You don’t have to have perfect results. It is more important that you are trying, taking action and sharing what’s happening for you.
2) When you’ve completed 12 consecutive weeks of accountability posts you will receive an email from the Coaching Club Moderator with the Subject “Congratulations – you’ve earned a bonus session with Val.” This email will be sent after the new week’s Accountability Discussion has been posted to the Forum. If you miss a week, just start your count over the next week. (Note: All students will benefit from this exercise. However, you must be a Gold or Platinum Member to earn a free session with Val.)
3) In the Congratulations email, you’ll receive instructions on how to participate. Use your time for animal communication mentoring, healing, and/or Val’s help working with your own animal(s).
4) Post each week during the Saturday to Friday timeframe. All posts are automatically time stamped and should align with the appropriate week to apply toward earning a free session with Val. Note: You can’t wait for 3 months then do 12 week’s worth of reporting in 1 week! Having the practice over time will strengthen your Animal Communication muscles.
MEMBER POSTING INSTRUCTIONS: Just copy these 5 questions into your comment below and answer them. Then click Post.

2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?
3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week?
4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week?
5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the featured animal in the Discussion of that animal if you have not already done so.

1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you? I spent about one hour in total meditation.
I did a Relaxation Meditation, Val’s Grounding Meditation, and a Gratitude Meditation.
2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not? Yes, I did. I connected with Biscuit a cat who was displaying odd behaviour. He connected with me and told me that he was wants more attention and the more crazy things he did, the more everyone would pay attention and laugh.
3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week? I would like to celebrate that I took some time to reflect on some past conversations that I had with animals from when I first started this journey.4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week? The challenge I had this week was trying to help two baby birds to leave a warehouse before the doors closed for the evening. I used the “Become the Animal” technique to show them the way out..I was successful with one of them leaving but the other one was too fearful to fly out. Instead he flew further into the warehouse and higher up out of reach. I spent a long time trying to get him to go and the little bird outside was calling to him too. Neither the bird outside or myself could get him to listen and fly out to freedom so he spent the night inside. The next morning when the doors opened he flew out at last.
5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the featured animal in the Discussion of that animal if you have not already done so. Yes, I did and posted my results
6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not? I used animal cards and tried to guess the animal. I guessed the animal was an eagle but it was a hawk.

1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?
2-3 5-10 minute sessions per day, grounding, centering and relaxing.
2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?
Talking to Sophie every day multiple times. She has now reached the stubborn phase, like toddlers of 2-3 years, who stomp their feet on the ground, shout and scream to get things going their way. She is flying around my bedroom like a maniac. So I am trying to calm her down with questionable success. I also started to slowly get her into the kitchen to meet the other cats, but as soon as she sees another cat, she gets scared and runs back to the bedroom. At present I have only 3-5 cats in the kitchen, because they have destroyed a lot of things and I can’t afford any more to replace kitchen tools, plates, pots and pans on a very regular basis. Thus, I have banned them from coming indoors and refined them to the kennel. Only 3 very weak ones remained indoors and every time I open the window for feeding them a few slip in, but after a short while they go back outside, because they find no food inside.
On the more funny side, last night we had the first rain announcing the upcoming winter. So I put on my rain coat and grabbed a coat for my dog Genie. Then I went into the kennel to pick up the 2 dogs for our daily walk. Genie was very reluctant to even come close to me. Only after I showed her that she will be wearing a rain coat as well, she came slowly over. Pascal, the Beagle, was all over me, pushing me to get going. I told him that I have no rain coat in his size and it was up to him, if he wanted to go out or not. He looked at me with big eyes and said: “What you mean …or not…? Let’s go.” I told him he will get wet. His answer: “so what. When you put me in the bath tub I get wet as well and you don’t even think to ask me if I mind…….can we go now……NOW!”
3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week?
I bought the audible version of a book called ‘the other end of the leash’ and went through the whole book in 2 days. It heightened my awareness and gave me some reminders not to view the world from a human viewpoint, when I am dealing with non-human creatures.
I highly recommend this book.4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week?
The main challenge are animals who just don’t want to know. I am struggling with a couple of those.5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the featured animal in the Discussion of that animal if you have not already done so.
Every week I put it on my to-do list and every week I don’t manage, because there are too many things to discuss with my own family.
6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?
Have been predicting again, which lift is going to stop on my floor and got it right every day. I think however that I will have to come up with a new game, as it seems that my mind has found the programming rules and now works based on probability and not on intuition any more.

1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?
I did my daily hour of Buddhist chanting every day but then I did a long session using one of Val’s guided silent mediations one lunchtime.
2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?
I tried to connect to my mum’s bird. I’m not sure if I did or not – I’m going to see him later and see what his reaction is like. I think he showed me a picture of what he could see outside his window.
3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week?
I’m pleased that my self confidence is growing so that I actually try it more – I’m feeling a lot more positive about the ‘practice makes perfect’ idea rather than ‘I can’t do it and I’ll never do it.’ I also feel increasingly convinced of the importance of this so am trying harder to make time to practice.
4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week?
I still have to challenge myself not to avoid practising out of fear of failure but I’m working on it! I’m pleased that I actually did.
5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the featured animal in the Discussion of that animal if you have not already done so.
Every time I look at her or think of her I feel her light up. She’s incredible!
6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?
Not yet.

1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?
Took another week off from sitting in silence. Still learning about Soul Contracts and listened to Ananda Bosman one night. I downloaded the Audacity software Margaret told us about to take segments out of a class that we want to save to another file (meditations, etc), but haven’t had time to learn how to use it yet.
2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?
Still talking to the deer that are coming into my woods and yard. I will have to get very specific with what part of the woods they are safe in, as a new neighbor was prowling around in the woods this week, not hunting this time, but he has permission if he decides he wants to. This does NOT make me happy! I had a talk with him about using my driveway to come back to the woods.
I had a conversation with my cat Shadow this morning. Backstory: He used to sleep on my bed with me in the winter. As soon as I put on the summer comforter, he chooses another place to sleep for the summer. Then he reappears when the winter comforter goes back on the bed. Not this year so far. He’s adopted the dog bed at the foot of my bed. He can totally stretch out (he’s not a small kitty) and doesn’t have my feet to worry about. This morning he was back in the dog bed after he ate breakfast, so before I went to get ready for the day, I leaned over the corner of my bed. He looked up at me and I said hi to him. He rolled over on his other side so he could look at me better. I told him I missed him sleeping with me and our love sessions in the mornings. (He would always come back to the bed after breakfast and we would have some lovin’ before I got on with my day). He acted like he wanted to jump up on the bed so I moved to give him room and he came up on the bed with me for some lovin’. Major purrs.
3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week?
Nothing in particular.
4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week?
Nothing new.
5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the featured animal in the Discussion of that animal if you have not already done so.
I offered a greeting when I came to this site today. Got nothing in return, so continued to my posting.
6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?
No time.

1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?
5-20 minutes vipasana meditation, walking meditation and mindful awareness.
2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?
I didn’t.
3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week?
Nothing really.
4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week?
Can’t think of anything.
5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the featured animal in the Discussion of that animal if you have not already done so.
I will post it.
6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not? I forgot about it. The one ‘game’ I do is, to be aware is what are my emotions and which ones don’t belong to me and just perceive or actually feel them and practice not to judge them. They are or it is here and it is not mine. Check. -

Terrible meditation…no focus…2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not? 3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week? Not much…feeling depressed about the whole thing.
4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week? I see no progress and wonder why I keep going with this.

1. MEDITATION: TYPES, TIMES
M 10/22: Golden Sphere from Platinum 10/20 Class
W 10/24: “, 5-minute silent sitting
F 10/26: several centering breaths; can only do 1-2 inhale, 3-4 hold, 5-6 exhale, and 7-8 hold: I cough if I try to make each 4 counts but realize I need to increase my breath capacity
2. CONNECT WITH INTENTION TO COMMUNICATE WITH AN ANIMAL
a. My study space is L-shaped: two 6-foot tables in front of the 12-foot picture window and a third 6-foot table in front of a 4-foot-wide window. Between the two is a child’s upholstered lounge chair (the only upholstered furniture in the house) for the cats. Raven, the male cat, especially likes to lie there, but he’s quick to jump to the third table to encourage me to brush him. While sitting at the computer in front of the picture window, I tried to communicate to him to jump now to the table to be brushed. After a few minutes, I was ready to give up when he did make the jump and was brushed for five minutes.
b. When I connected with Lily-Grace (cat), she told me about a physically painful time in her life before she came to live with me. The topic was open, so I was surprised she brought that up.
c. Shoshana (cat) has yipping sessions of a few minutes several times a day. When I call her name, she rushes to me from wherever she was to be hugged. I ask her what’s upsetting her but don’t get an answer.
3. CELEBRATE
Grateful that Shoshana may be mellowing toward Lily-Grace, Yossi, and Janie-Kate. She still hits and chases them, but they don’t seem to mind. Lily-Grace, as I’m typing, is licking Shoshana’s head.
4. CHALLENGES, PROBLEMS
The usual: making time for and going deeper in meditation.
5. FAT COMMUNICATION
Posted with Serenity.
6. INTUITION GAMES
Intent: 8/10 correct odd-even with die cube.
M 10/22: 7/10 “.
W 10/24: 6/10 “; saw two numbers and both were correct.

1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you? Yes, I meditated for a brief time. I focused on my breathing.
2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not? Yes, my cats. They understood always I think and sometimes responded. Also, I did with a pigeon who didn’t say much because he/she was hungry. I also did with a fly who said he/she remembered me. He/she likes me.
Yes, she’s my girl 🙂
6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not? Yes, I played the deck of cards game. For the color part, I got 6 right out of 10. For the face or no face part, I got 4 right out of 5. The last one was a face card and I got it right, so I moved on to the next category because I was excited I got it right that it was a face. There aren’t as many face cards as there are no face cards, so I wanted to move on to the next category on a good note! For the type of suit, I got 1 right out of 7. On the one I got right, I briefly was completely in tune with the Sources! It was amazing and felt amazing, too! I hope for that to happen regularly!

1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?
On three days I did guided journeys from Susann Taylor’s Immersion last week. I don’t think I meditated other days. Sorry, the days blur together and I just do not remember other than the days I worked with those meditations.
2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not? During my private session with Val, we tuned into Roxy working with him to explain why I put bitter apple on the wires so he would not hurt himself biting them and why I do not want him going outside and getting hit by cars.
3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week? Hopefully Val’s work with Roxy means he is safer.
4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week? Same as always – difficult to communicate with my own cats.
