–> It’s Time to Practice with the Accountability Game!

Ready to earn special bonus private coaching time with Val? Here’s how:

One of the most important things to help you stay on track with your goals is to be accountable on a regular basis. To help you with that, once a week please answer these simple questions listed below.

This practice is designed to help you become more consciously aware of your journey, to celebrate your successes and share any perceived “failures” so they can be acknowledged, healed and cleared. Mistakes are a necessary part of the journey. There are no right answers here and this is not a test. Just do your best. Doing this exercise will help you improve your skills and be more consciously aware at all times. Remember this is a journey, not a destination. The idea is for you to stay conscious and make progress.

NOTE: All students are invited to play, but only Gold and Platinum Club Members are eligible to earn the Accountability private Coaching Session Awards (value $125).

Here’s how Gold and Platinum Members earn your sessions:

      1) Stay Accountable. Each week there will be a new Accountability Discussion for the time period of Saturday through Friday to which you can post any day of the week. You are invited to report on you efforts, progress and frustrations during the week since your last post. You don’t have to have perfect results. It is more important that you are trying, taking action and sharing what’s happening for you.

      2) When you’ve completed 12 consecutive weeks of accountability posts you will receive an email from the Coaching Club Moderator with the Subject “Congratulations – you’ve earned a coaching session with Val.” This email will be sent after the new week’s Accountability Discussion has been posted to the Forum. If you miss a week, just start your count over the next week.

      3) In the Congratulations email, you’ll receive instructions on how to schedule. Use your time for animal communication mentoring, healing, and/or Val’s help working with your own animal(s).

      4) Post each week during the Saturday to Friday timeframe. All posts are automatically time stamped and should align with the appropriate week to apply toward earning a free session with Val. Note: You can’t wait for 3 months then do 12 week’s worth of reporting in 1 week! Having the practice over time will strengthen your Animal Communication intuitive muscles.

MEMBER POSTING INSTRUCTIONS: Just copy these 6 questions into your comment below and answer them. Then click Post.

      1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?

      2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?

      3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week?

      4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week?

      5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the Featured Animal in the Discussion with that animal if you have not already done so.

      6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?

Tip: To copy the questions, highlight the text and type ctrl-C (hold down the ctrl key and type a C) then place the cursor in the Reply box and use ctrl-V to paste.

Remember the weekly posting period runs from Saturday through noon 12:00pm Central (Texas) United States Friday which is the same as 5pm in system time shown at the top of your posts (it is the Universal Time (Greenwich, UK)). You can check your own time using the Time Zone converter at:

      https://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/converter-classic.html

Note: Silver members can Upgrade to Gold or Platinum membership at any time by emailing [email protected] and letting us know. Put Upgrade in the subject line.

While only posts answering the above questions count as Accountability Posts, you are welcome to comment on anyone else’s posts. We are here to learn from and inspire each other too! Provide feedback to others and we will learn together.

      Much love, Barb & Val

      1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you? Yes, everyday in different ways, formal to informal ways, in nature, inside with yoga, and before animal conversations.

      2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not? Yes everyday in some way, whether just communing or actually engaging back and forth, sending and receiving. Beautiful communion with a Moose; I could see he felt my energy as calm and grateful because I don’t direct my energy to powerfully towards wild animals, just give space and gratitude, or the practice of this. Posting…

      3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week? sticking with the commitment to communicate and meditate everyday in some way even when i don’t feel or actualize focus.

      4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week? just the ongoing challenge of choosing to focus and trust.

      5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the Featured Animal in the Discussion with that animal if you have not already done so. yes, posted

      6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not? yes, i play random psychic games with myself, looking to do that more formally this coming week.

      1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?

STILL DOING MY MINI MEDITATIONS, AT ANY AND ALL TIMES OF THE DAY.

      2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened?
I ACTUALLY TALK WITH MY DOGS EVERYDAY AND WHEN THEY WANT SOMETHING THEY ALWAYS GET THEIR MESSAGE ACROSS TO ME, WHETHER IT IS ‘COME QUICK’ OR ‘ITS TIME FOR OUR BEDTIME SNACK’.
YESTERDAY I HEARD A DOG BARKING FOR 2 HOURS STRAIGHT, NOT STOPPING EXCEPT TO TAKE A BREATH. THIS WAS UNUSUAL, SO FINALLY I WENT OUT TO FIND WHERE IT WAS COMING FROM, AFRAID PERHAPS SOMETHING HAD HAPPENED TO THE OWNER AND THE DOG WAS TRYING TO GET HELP. I LOCATED THE YARD THE BARKING DOG WAS AND HAD TO PEEK OVER THE PRIVACY FENCE. THERE WAS A BOXER WITH TONGUE HANGING OUT, STANDING IN THE SUN PANTING LOOKING AT THE CAMPER PARKED BEHIND THE HOUSE. I WAS WORRIED SOMETHING HAD HAPPENED TO SOMEONE IN THE CAMPER, IF THE DOG WAS JUST BARKING TO COME IN SOMEONE WOULD HAVE LET HIM IN BY THEN. HE WAS NOT TIED SO WHY WAS HE STANDING IN THE SUN BARKING AT THE CAMPER. I BEGAN TALKING TO HIM. ASKED HIM WHAT WAS WRONG, WHY WAS HE BARKING. HE STOPPED AND LOOKED OVER AT ME. THEN BACK AT THE CAMPER. I ASKED IS SOMEONE WAS HURT AND GOT NO, KEPT TALKING TOHIM AND TOLD HIM HE NEEDED TO CALM DOWN. TO GO OVER TO THE SHADE (IT WAS A HUGE YARD WITH BIG SHADE TREES). I JUST TALKING TO HIM AND HE QUIETED DOWN. FINALLY HE GAVE ONE LAST LOOK AT THE CAMPER AND THEN TURNED AND WALKED AWAY. HE WENT AROUND TO THE FRONT OF THE HOUSE. I WAITED A COUPLE MINUTES TO SEE IF HE WOULD COME BACK AND THEN BEFORE I LEFT…A CAT CAME OUT FROM UNDER THE CAMPER AND LEFT!! 🙂 POOR THING, HE WAS STUCK UNDER THERE AFRAID TO COME OUT AND THE DOG WAS BARKING BECAUSE THERE WAS AN INTRUDER IN HIS YARD HIDING UNDER THE CAMPER. I DIDN’T GET QUITE ALL THAT BUT DID FEEL GOOD THAT I COMMUNICATED WITH HIM AND GOT HIM TO CALM DOWN AND GO GET COOLED OFF. (SERIOUSLY, IT WAS A HOT DAY AND HE WAS BEGINNING TO GET IN DISTRESS)

      3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week?

I THINK THE ABOVE EXPERIENCE MADE ME REALIZE I NEEDED TO GET BACK INTO SERIOUSLY PRACTICING AS THERE ARE TIMES WHEN IT CAN BE VERY IMPROTANT TO BE ABLE TO TALK WITH THE ANIMALS.

MY BIGGEST CHALLANGE HAS ALWAYS BEEN AND WILL CONTINUE TO BE FINDING THE TIME TO BE ABLE TO DO THIS. I AM WORKING MORE HOURS AND HAVE BOTH MY GIRLS IN SCENT WORK CLASSES AND SPEND ANY SPARE TIME EITHER GROOMING MY LONG HAIRED DOGS, WALKING AND EXERCISING THEM, PRACTICING THEIR SCENT WORK, OR ACTUALLY GOING TO CLASSES. AFTER ALL THAT I AM USUALLY TOO TIRED TO DO ANY PRACTICE COMMUNICATING. BUT I WILL TRY!!

      5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not?

      NO. NO TIME

      6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?

AGAIN THE TIME CONSTRAINTS, BUT ACTUALLY I ALWAYS FORGET ABOUT THAT.

      1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?

Yes, I had a great meditation with Tina today and guided shamanic meditations as well. I have been grounding with trees when I clean the horse pastures.

      2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?

Yes, Angel has surgery in 2 weeks and we are counting down the days. I am communicating with Lucy about the birthing center in Scottsdale she will be going to in 3 weeks. Lucy loves playing in water. She likes climbing in a water trough to splash and play. I filled her water barrel and she put her leg in and splashed half of her water out. I brought her a small trough and filled it with water and told her she can play in the trough but stay out of the water barrel because I don’t want her to run out of water.
She only plays in the trough and saves the barrel for drinking. I am so happy about this because we don’t have running water on the property so we haul in water from the rental house.

      3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week?

Mind is quieter than in the past so it is easier to communicate this week.

      4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week?

Daisy has been aggressive and will probably be rehomed. She will be happier in a home with less animals.

      5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the Featured Animal in the Discussion with that animal if you have not already done so.

Yes, and she gave me advice about Daisy, she said that you have to do what will bring you peace.

      6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?

      Not this week.

      1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?

Yes, I spent a total of 1 hour meditating this week. I did 3 morning meditations..

      2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week?

Yes I did. I connected with a dog Peppa who has been barking in the middle of the night waking up the family for “ no reason”. When I connected with her to ask why she showed me that she saw a man walking his very big dog at that time every night. She felt that he was too close to her yard. She wanted to scare him away and keep the family safe.

      3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week?

I would like to celebrate that I am planning to take Val’s Go Pro Program.

      4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week?

The challenge I have is that I want to do the Go Pro Program but I have to sort out my schedule first so that I can make this commitment.

      5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results.

Yes I did and posted my results.

      6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?

This morning when I woke up before I looked outside my window, I guessed that there would be 3 parrots gathered around near my cat Tiki. I was correct.

      1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?

I did some centering and quiet time sessions in the mornings and some present moment exercises while cleaning my yard.

      2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?

Talked to the ants and bugs outside and apologized for disturbing them. I explained that I mean no harm for them, but have to take the weeds out.

      3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week?

That the mosquitoes left me alone. I told them that I will not harm them as long as they leave me. If they start biting however, I will get the spray bottle out.

      4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week?

      Nothing specific.

      5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the Featured Animal in the Discussion with that animal if you have not already done so.

Sophie is living with me and we speak every day.

      6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?

I played my parking game again today. I entered the parking place at the supermarket from the back and felt there is a spot waiting for me in the front. So I went all the way past a couple of free spaces and found a free spot right in front of the door.

      1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?

My meditations right now consist of being as mindful as I possibly can throughout each day. Going back to work has changed my entire schedule, so that I’m wondering how I will get everything done I had planned for this summer. When it comes time to meditate before bed, it seems I’m usually too tired. Last week I even forgot to post my accountability.

      2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?

Nothing other than with my fur-kids.

      3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week?

      Nothing new.

      4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week?

      Nothing new.

      5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the Featured Animal in the Discussion with that animal if you have not already done so.

      No time.

      6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?

      No time.

      1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you? Continued my daily practice. It was a scattered week and being able to see myself as separate from my mind was more difficult.

      2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not? Yes! I used “the wall/barrier” in a conversation with Chiku, who growls and barks when visitors come to his home. I said when you have your wall up you cannot receive love from the safe people that visit. His owner let me know he was able to relax and be quiet when they had a visitor the day after we had the conversation. I connected also with a dog who eats the couch when her owner is away…working with the owner about consistency. Asked my guides to coat another pup’s neck with healing goo from a dog bite and the next day the owner physically used CBD oil as well without knowing I had asked my guides to do this. A similar occurrence happened when I energetically helped a kitty to the “healing box” after she had been injured and found out her owner had actually made a healing box with soft blankets for the kitty!

      3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week? I practice daily.

      4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week? Self doubt that I try to ignore.

      5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the Featured Animal in the Discussion with that animal if you have not already done so. Yes. We had a healing experience together and the next day she did not run away from Pascal.

      6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not? Yes. On the 3rd time through the black red card game I felt a shift and knew what each one was 75%.

      1. MEDITATION: TYPES, TIMES

Platinum session meditation (1x), square breaths (multiple x), guided chakra meditation (1x; felt good, so why not do it more?).

      2. INTENTION TO CONNECT TO COMMUNICATE

Multiple times with my six indoor cats, e.g., where I was going and when I’d be home. Failed to receive answers from Shoshana, the ex-feral cat, about the cause of her cries. Because she runs from window to window, it seems obvious she misses being outside.

      3. CELEBRATE

Angela worked with Janie-Kate (see ATH exchange), so Janie-Kate is more affectionate with me. Encouraging and exciting to see the techniques work!

      4. CHALLENGES, QUESTIONS

Val (in the laser session), Pamela (on Facebook), and Martha (today I saw her message on the 4/13 Q&A) have given me helpful suggestions about the litter box problems. Some I can implement; others I may be too spiritually immature to practice.

Most of this week I’ve slept alone. Because night-time temperatures are now in the sixties rather than in the forties? Or because the cats sense that I love having the bed to myself? I hope not the latter, but it is easier to turn around, not have someone breathe heavily in my face, etc.

      5. FAT COMMUNICATION

Will post later today about Sophie. Several attempts during the week, but I was distracted.

      6. INTUITIVE GAMES

Daily guesses are often accurate. 4/10 odd-even die.

I also could not find this week’s post.

      1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?

I did meditate every morning. I worked on communicating with my dog, Buddy.

      2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not? I tried communicating with all my pets this week.

I’m making an effort to hear my cat, Kali, that comes and meows at me every night before going to bed. I practice communicating with my dog, Buddy, while I’m at work. I also try to tune into the animals around my neighborhood.

      3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week?

I’m staying committed amidst a lot of chaos.

      4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week?

I’m still struggling with feeling whether I’m hearing the animal or my own internal voice. I ask it but still am not sure.

      5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the Featured Animal in the Discussion with that animal if you have not already done so.

      Not this this week.

      6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?

I’ve downloaded an app to practice intuition and have done it consistently but am still building that ability.

I could not find the post for accountablility this week so I use last weeks post.

      1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you? Yes, I did some silent meditations and some mantar meditations. I did about 30 min a day.

      2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not? Yes I have communicated with my own cats as a follow up to a student coaching talk we all had with Val. I also have 2 cats that I cmmonunicate with this week. They have both several physical issues and they sometimes have some issues getting along. I communicate with them about this to see what is going on.

      3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week? I had a student coaching session with Val where she talked with my cats. It was very reassuring that she got the same information when she connected with them as I had. She also thought me that sometimes one needs to be very blunt with animals in order to get trough to them in serious situations to help them see the danger they might put them self in. She talked with my cats about running across the road in a reckless way thinking it was perfectly safe and harmless no matter what I told them.

      4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week? None right now.

      5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the Featured Animal in the Discussion with that animal if you have not already done so. No I have my hands full with the two cats I am working with.

      6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?No, no time.

Same here, I am posting here for the week of April 20 – April 26 Accountability as I didn’t find a thread for it.

      1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you? 5-20 minutes or so daily silent sitting. 2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not? Nothing happened really. I just told all my animals that I see weekly that I will be gone for two weeks and why and will see them after that. 3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week? Nothing really. 4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week? No challenges properly a hundred questions but at the other hand, I know what I need to do but hesitant is holding me back. 5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the Featured Animal in the Discussion with that animal if you have not already done so. Will do later. 6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not? No games.

I am posting here for the week of April 20 – April 26 Accountability as I didn’t find a thread for it. I will check again later to see if I can find it and then will repost.

I looked for the accountability section due today, but I didn’t see it.
I connected with the FAT and posted for Klaudia to see the connection.
I connected with Tina in the ATH and posted for Alicia to see it.

I don’t know connecting with the FAt and her helping me to calm down a little was considered as meditating.

I connect with my cats, the FAT, Tina in the ATH, and birds. I also connected with another cat or two.

I don’t have any new challenges with connect with animals, now do I have any new things I’d like to celebrate.
