–> It’s Time to Practice with the Accountability Game!
Ready to earn special bonus private coaching time with Val? Here’s how:
One of the most important things to help you stay on track with your goals is to be accountable on a regular basis. To help you with that, once a week please answer these simple questions listed below.
This practice is designed to help you become more consciously aware of your journey, to celebrate your successes and share any perceived “failures” so they can be acknowledged, healed and cleared. Mistakes are a necessary part of the journey. There are no right answers here and this is not a test. Just do your best. Doing this exercise will help you improve your skills and be more consciously aware at all times. Remember this is a journey, not a destination. The idea is for you to stay conscious and make progress.
NOTE: All students are invited to play, but only Gold and Platinum Club Members are eligible to earn the Accountability private Coaching Session Awards (value $125).
Here’s how Gold and Platinum Members earn your sessions:
1) Stay Accountable. Each week there will be a new Accountability Discussion for the time period of Saturday through Friday to which you can post any day of the week. You are invited to report on you efforts, progress and frustrations during the week since your last post. You don’t have to have perfect results. It is more important that you are trying, taking action and sharing what’s happening for you.
2) When you’ve completed 12 consecutive weeks of accountability posts you will receive an email from the Coaching Club Moderator with the Subject “Congratulations – you’ve earned a coaching session with Val.” This email will be sent after the new week’s Accountability Discussion has been posted to the Forum. If you miss a week, just start your count over the next week.
3) In the Congratulations email, you’ll receive instructions on how to schedule. Use your time for animal communication mentoring, healing, and/or Val’s help working with your own animal(s).
4) Post each week during the Saturday to Friday timeframe. All posts are automatically time stamped and should align with the appropriate week to apply toward earning a free session with Val. Note: You can’t wait for 3 months then do 12 week’s worth of reporting in 1 week! Having the practice over time will strengthen your Animal Communication intuitive muscles.
MEMBER POSTING INSTRUCTIONS: Just copy these 6 questions into your comment below and answer them. Then click Post.
1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?
2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?
3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week?
4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week?
5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the Featured Animal in the Discussion with that animal if you have not already done so.
6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?
Tip: To copy the questions, highlight the text and type ctrl-C (hold down the ctrl key and type a C) then place the cursor in the Reply box and use ctrl-V to paste.
Remember the weekly posting period runs from Saturday through noon 12:00pm Central (Texas) United States Friday which is the same as 5pm in system time shown at the top of your posts (it is the Universal Time (Greenwich, UK)). You can check your own time using the Time Zone converter at:
https://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/converter-classic.html
Note: Silver members can Upgrade to Gold or Platinum membership at any time by emailing Support@ValHeart.com and letting us know. Put Upgrade in the subject line.
While only posts answering the above questions count as Accountability Posts, you are welcome to comment on anyone else’s posts. We are here to learn from and inspire each other too! Provide feedback to others and we will learn together.
Much love, Barb & Val

1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?
Yes, I did meditate. I did different short 10 -15 minute meditations every morning /Val’s Observer Stance Meditation/ Gratitude Meditation
2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?
Yes, I did. I tried to connected with a dog who was in spirit. She was not responding but later in the week came to me on her own time. She was prancing around saying “Look at me, Look at what I can do”. I asked questions so that she would tell me more but her message for her person was this was all they would need to know in order to understand. It turns out she was once very active as a show dog but when got older she was unable to move around freely and had trouble walking.
3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week?
I would like to celebrate that I had some moments this week where I felt deeply connected in a way in which I never felt before.
4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week?
This week I took in a lot of information. Just processing all of it was challenging but I wrote notes along the way and will review them.
5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the featured animal in the Discussion of that animal if you have not already done so.
I did not have a chance to do so yet.
6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?
A few times this week I just would think what exact time it was. I had absolutely no idea and then would think of a time and when I looked at the clock it was the exact time (hour and minute).

1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?
Short sessions spread over the day – being g present and grounding
2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?
I am talking a lot to Wuschel. Since she was spayed beginning of last week, she is not herself anymore. It took her 5 days before I could convince her to start eating and drinking again. She is hiding in dark corners most of the day and when she comes out, she is very aggressive towards everybody, her sisters, their babies and even her own 8 week old son. I cannot get anywhere close to her, then she runs.
Lately, I find Schnucki’s baby over and over again in the middle of the corridor. Every day I asked Schnucki to leave him in the big cage, because he is still too young to crawl around the house and there is a high risk that I overlook him and step on him (he is only 3 weeks and 2 days today and cannot even walk properly yet). Yesterday she finally got through to me explaining that he climbs out by himself and that he is too heavy for her to carry him back.
I paired with Manuela for our assignment from the last masterclass. So I am trying to talk to her cat Tiger. So far I am however not getting results. Probably I am not relaxed enough, because I am constantly under time pressure. I will try to meditate and then connect with Tiger on the weekend.
3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week?
That somehow I make time to go through the GoPro lessons and handouts – I am way behind, but I am regularly working on it.
4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week?
Biggest challenge is the lack of time and money.
Specific challenges lately are Wuschel (see point 2) and Indi pooping right in front of her brand new personal litter box.5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the Featured Animal in the Discussion with that animal if you have not already done so.
No time
6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?

1) Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?
Yes I did meditate but I feel myself trying to avoid it and I’m not sure why? I don’t know the names of meditations? I spent about l l/2 hours total I guess.
2) Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?
I connected with the family dog to tell her that the family was going to the Oregon coast for a week and she was going to. My grandson noticed she wasn’t getting upset when they were packing but seemed excited. He asked me if I had communicated with her and I said yes and I had noticed her excitement to. I showed her a picture in my mind of her riding with the family in the car and then running and biting waves.
I also communicated with the family cat who I am staying with, she is very verbal and answering my questions with soft consistent meows to my face for “yes”.3) What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week?
I received a message from the cat I’m staying with at 6 am this morning. I woke up feeling her vibrating purring in my body (it woke me up) and then a flash of her picture. I got up and opened the bedroom door and there she was waiting – lol.4) What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week?
I think it would be very helpful for others to share how they get their communications from animals – with specifics about what it looks and feels like.5) Did you communicate with the FAT this month? Did you play one of the games on the new games handout this week? If so, what happened? If not why not?
New games handout? Did I miss something? I’m so disappointed I wasn’t accountable last week so starting over:( Doing all I can at the moment.Hi everyone. I'm so excited about meeting more of you. I'm struggling a little with the web site but that is on me - it seems great! I work with dogs and grew up on horses, don't know much about cats but hope to learn.

1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?
Silent sitting 1 or 2 times, listening to nature sounds 2 or 3 times, reading 2 nights, mindfulness as much as possible.
2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?
I saw the ground hog outside the window again yesterday. That’s the 2nd time I’ve seen him/her. I offered a greeting, but s(he) was too busy eating to respond, I guess, or I didn’t get it (which is more likely the case)>
3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week?
Nothing new.
4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week?
Nothing new.
5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the Featured Animal in the Discussion with that animal if you have not already done so.
I offered a greeting when coming to do this post. Got nothing in return.
6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?

MEDITATION: TYPES, TIMES
Daily (usually am) guided chakra-clearing 20-minute meditation (still need to try a different one). Missed one day and fell asleep another day. Zen breaths and square breaths.
INTENTION TO CONNECT AND COMMUNICATE WITH AN ANIMAL
Jax: a few seconds: I felt myself dissolving into the orange fur on his back and caught a message, “I am strong.”
CELEBRATE
Shoshana: a few seconds: Aware in half-sleep at night that we were face-to-face on the pillow.
Helene F’s success in protecting her cats from fleas and ticks by praying to God (whatever her concept of God is and whatever constitutes he/she/they). I remember reading an article about a group of English people who prayed Psalm 91 daily for the protection of loved ones in WW2. All returned home without physical injuries.
CHALLENGES, QUESTIONS
As of Sunday, 7/28, Julie-Belle and Janie-Kate will have lived safely outside (open patio and garage) for two weeks where I intend they stay for the foreseeable future. To twice or thrice daily feedings, I will continue to add furniture and prayers. So far, they have remained in the backyard except for joining me in the front yard when I’m doing yardwork. While I have felt justified in no longer regarding them as indoor cats, I also feel harsh.
Yesterday, however, I was looking for a book in a wall of crates stacked six and seven crates high. Since May, Janie-Kate had begun jumping to, sitting on, and crossing over the top levels of them. I discovered she was also shitting in them. While she cannot realize how I value my books, surely she recognizes they are not to be used as litter.
I suppose, after the 7/20 master class, I could take this as a comment that I spend too much of my resources reading. I have two other observations: (1) When my friends and I read Gone with the Wind the spring before high school, we could not comprehend how Rhett could say to Scarlett: “My dear, I don’t give a damn.” Now I do understand. When I hear the cats calling outside, that is exactly how I feel.
(2) Non-human animals can behave as ungratefully as human animals. I’ll spare you the most recent examples of the latter. How much does behavior correlate with this golden nugget from the 7/20 master class: How others respect and treat you is a reflection of your self-care. As long as I give better-than-fair care to others, why should my somewhat lack of self-care matter?
FAT COMMUNICATION Posted with Robin S’s Maggie.
INTUITIVE GAMES
I’m getting more accurate with guessing times at night and how far into the lengths of films as well as anticipating next lines of dialogue.
Do intuitions and coincidences at some point overlap? On Wednesday, I noticed an across-the-street neighbor had a visitor drive up. The neighbor was at work, so the visitor, receiving no answer to his knocks, went to a place on the property where he retrieved a key and let himself in. Minutes later, he drove away.
On Thursday, I exited my front door to pick up twigs so I could mow the grass another day; the back door was locked. I tried to lock the front door, but the key stuck in the lock. My spare key in my purse and my phone were inside. With difficulty, I could turn the key to open or lock, but there was no way–for fifteen minutes–I could pull it out.
After ten minutes, a different across-the-street neighbor couple returned from wherever. I figured that after a few more tries, I could go over and ask them to telephone a locksmith for me. Finally, though, I extricated the key and resolved never to use that upper lock from the outside again. Eventually, I’ll get a locksmith to install a new lock there, but it has been convenient to carry only one key. Oh, and should I hide a key somewhere on the property so I could have gotten in the back door yesterday? I suppose someone psychic enough to locate it, but that’s a risk to be taken?

1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you? I did if it counts last night when I tried to relax and focus on my breathing and let go of my anxiety.
2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not? Yes, with my cats. Serenity definitely understood some. Hawkeye did, too. I also did with Ezla, Maggie, Lion Heart, and Tiger. I tried to a couple of times I think feel the energy of birds I saw. One of the times I had too much on my mind to be able to.

1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you? I am ashamed to admit that once again I did not meditate every day. Only a few minutes a couple of times plus the mediation in church on Sunday.

I know I am not doing the work so am not getting the results but the few times I have tried have been so discouraging I find myself just not wanting to try.

1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?
I practiced Kundalini Dance (which I facilitate though not currently) as my meditation and sitting and walking meditation as well.
2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?
Everyday yes several different animalsz for example, I “ran” into my neighborhood moose mama and two baby moose. Communed. I give them all space and haven’t had any issues from mama. Yesterday I was walking down dirt driveway and I heard a short grunt and looked over … the mama was letting me know she was occupying that spot. Got it, no problem! One year, possibly same mama moose, her two babies got curious and rapidly starting whining and approaching me. I really of course wanted to pet them but instead I said “oh let’s not do that honies so we don’t worry mama moose.” They still got very close and I just acted like I was eating grass like I normally do and the mama didn’t seem to really care and ignored us. But she is wild and strong and fierce so I am safe and considerate of her space.
3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week?
Great coaching session with Val which I will write on forum. I celebrate being surrounded my beautiful wilderness most of the time.
