Hi All! My name is Midge and I live in Ohio. I am new at the area of Animal Communication but of course I have had animal for most of my life. Professionally before retirement, I worked as a chemical dependency and mental health therapist for over forty years. Six years ago, we rescued a year old Boxer/Rhodesian Ridgeback Mix whose name is Chloe. During her first week with us, Chloe destroyed our home three times. It was the first time in our years of marriage that my husband called me home from work. Quickly it became apparent that she was dealing with a great deal of anxiety and other arrangements were made for her during our work day. Chloe became the shop dog along with our Boston Terrier, Goliath. Goliath was a great teacher of the how to behave at work and how UPS and tool trucks were great sources for treats. Goliath has since passed and his loss is deeply felt!! Chloe and I became involved in lots of activities: agility, rally, dock diving, fast cat, nosework, and gathering with lots of friends. She is my partner and sometimes I think I put too much pressure on her.
I decided to become involved in Animal Talk Coaching because talking to animals has always intrigued me. During my work as a therapist I could feel intuitively what was happening with my clients or in a session and wonder about this with animals. I am looking forward to this exciting journey. Chloe has been my teacher in so many areas for the past 6 years and I would like to be better on my communication!!

      Welcome, Midge!
You will have a lot of fun in this group!

I wanted to say hi because I too, am dog sport enthusiast (do agility and nosework mainly). My current dog, Corsair, came to live with us about a year ago and I integrated animal communication from the time I was deciding if she should even consider her to come to us. (I started while my other two dogs, who now have passed away, were adult dogs.) I have been integrating animal communication through her training and it has been so fun and effective.

So, I know you will have a lots of fun having communication with your pups!

      Welcome again!

Thank you so much for your responses. As a newcomer, the process seems slow in knowing how to get involved and move forward. I have a difficult time with the belief that the ability to communicate is really there. I have felt something was there but have had feelings of doubt and feelings of why me? I am not special? Now the understanding that it really is not necessarily special but something we all are capable of but do not know how to access. I love the thought that it is possible to share this and know we are all connected. I enjoyed the Tips to Communication/Intuition and the reminder to know all creatures are equal!!! Being humans sure has it limitations and drawbacks!!!
Sending Love, Light, and look forward to all constructiveness!!!
      Midge
