ModeratorLori has volunteered to host her dog, Dibs, as our next Featured Animal Teacher (FAT). You will enjoy getting to know this wonderful animal teacher.
Gold and Platinum members will have an opportunity to connect with Sky along with Val on the Q&A call Saturday, January 11. We encourage all of you to connect with Dibs now and through out the month.
Tune into Dibs first and see what you sense. It’s not just about getting words although that’s a lot of fun when it happens. Remember that telepathic comes from ‘tele’ meaning over a distance like telephone and television, and ‘pathic’ that comes from pathos. So literally telepathic is emotion over a distance.
How does Dibs feel to you? Happy? Sad? Excited? etc.
Ask Dibs ice breaker questions as you might with any new teacher. It’s not about “getting the right answer” but about connecting with a wonderful animal.
Have fun!
Many thanks to Lori for offering to host Dibs as our featured animal teacher for this month. We look forward to Lori and Dibs sharing feedback, information and stories along our journey.

Chigusa Sansen
Platinum MemberHello Lori,
Thank you so much for offering Dibs for us to talk with!He first came across as a little bit timid and shy dog but when I said hi and introduced myself, he became very happy and excited. He wanted to tell me everything and he was sending me so many communication at once I wasn’t quite able to capture everything.
Based on the energy I felt, I sense that he tends to have excitement spurs of moments but then some other times, he can be calm.
I asked what he feels about his mom, he told me he loves her and showed me plopping onto a bed or couch where you’d be resting. Sort of jumping sideways like a synchronized swimmer would jump into a water and then curled up to rest.
As I connect with him, I felt hard to breathe. Does he have issues with breathing or lung problem? I also felt heavy on his head. Maybe he thinks a lot…? I asked about that and he tells me it is always been like that and it is not painful or considered problematic to him.
He is showing me this blanket-like material which is blue and pink in color. I’m not convinced it is a blanket but I feel it is soft. Does this have any significance to you or him?
As I prepared to say goodbye, he came to me with wagging tail to tell me to come back and talk again. Let me know if there is anything specific you want me to ask him about or follow up to the points above.
Thank you! Chigusa

Inactive MemberHello Chigusa Sansen, Thank you for communicating with Dibs. You did really well with your communication. Dibs is a female, I know the name doesn’t really let you know what the sex may be. Dibs is real shy when she first meets someone, and just as you stated, then she becomes very happy and excited. She does that on our walks every morning as well. She is a high energy dog and easily excited, it made me smile when you said she was sending so many communications at once, that definitely is her personality. LOL She does calm down a little but usually only in the evening.
She does love to be close when she is ready to settle down for the evening. It is interesting that you noticed that she feels like it is hard to breathe, I would love if you connect with her again to ask her more about this. I have recently noticed she seems to pant a lot or breathe hard even when nothing has been going on like a walk or fetch. Her yearly exam in November was great so not sure if something is going on or not, I made need to take her in again. The other feeling of heavy on the head that you felt maybe her hyper personality, she has been that way since we had her at 11 weeks old. Dibs is 4 1/2 now. She is always excited, I have given her CDB oil and have tried supplements to help her relax a little but they seem to make her seem depressed and I don’t like seeing her sad. The blanket is mainly blue with a sea life mural on it, I put it down for her when we have cold nights and she really likes it. I feel it is something significant to her.
Overall you did really good with your conversation with Dibs, I am really happy with all of your input, you were spot on with all of your information. Thank you and have a great day. -

Inactive MemberHi Dibs, I’m Barb. I’m learning how to connect with animals like your mom. Are you available right now?
Dibs: It depends…are you?
Barb: Yes! I have prepared my space and opened my heart and would love to hear about your life.
Dibs: Well…I’m always a little suspicious but I agreed to do this and help up you people out a little.
Barb: Thanks Dibs. I would appreciate your help.
Dibs: First you have to believe that we can hear you and then trust.
Barb: Yes Dibs trust is the most important thing isn’t it?
Dibs: Yep! Do you know that I am a curious dog? I like to hunt for things…You can see in that picture that I actually found something interesting under the deck.
Barb: It looks like you found something.
Dibs: I like finding little bugs and anything that has an interesting smell to it. It’s fun and keeps me occupied.
Barb: What did you find?
Dibs: A dead butterfly. They don’t live long but they bring beauty to the world. That’s an important thing to do.
Barb: It is.
Dibs: Yep…Now go do it!
Barb: Ok! Thank You Dibs. I’ll let you know how I did that. -

Inactive MemberHi Lori, Thank you so much for sharing Dibs with us. I got a male and female energy when I connected
and introduced myself. I asked if he/ she was a male or female. The reply I got was “Does it really matter?” I then said it did matter if you wanted to have puppies. Dibs was amused by that.
After my conversation I read the previous posts and saw that you mentioned Dibs was a female. I only like to read previous posts after I connect so that it doesn’t influence what I am actually receiving.
I sensed that she has a great sense of humour but can be very serious at times. She explained to me that she listens and speaks from her heart.
Dibs told me that sometimes she does not have confidence but she is working in it. A previous experience or altercation with another animal or more dominant dog made her feel this way. I asked her to tell me more but she wanted to end the conversation at this time. I thanked her and gave her a great big hug. -

Inactive MemberGood Morning Jo,
Thank you for your communication with Dibs. That does not surprise me that you received both male and female energy from Dibs. Lol She is a very sweet girl with high energy and very nervous at times. She definitely has a serious side also. Her house mate is Blue, I think you spoke with him a few months ago when he was the FAT of the month. Blue usually is very laid back but he does give Dibs a hard time around his biscuits and laying by me in the evening. I try very hard to keep them both happy but I can tell she gets a little nervous around him at times. However, there are days when she bosses him around as well. I am not sure how to take how quick she is to end the chats with everyone, I thought she would really enjoy talking with people. I hope you have a wonderful day, and thank you again for your connection with Dibs, it was spot on with what I get and see in her.

Inactive MemberHi Lori, thanks for sharing Dibs with us.
During the call I have perceived the following:
Dibs is doing okay, when I asked her.
She is a little suspicious to people she doesn’t know. She is careful and a little shy towards unknown people. Once she get to know you she will open up to you. She is mainly quiet, gentle a little introvert. I keep seeing that she is affectionate once she knows you. She likes gentle touch. Likes to be close to family. She likes to sleep.
Her aura is gray but also orange, warm color.-

Platinum MemberHi Lori,
During the call I got that Dibs is a high energy dog and right after I felt her very quiet and calm. That confused me and she said that she can be both ways depending on the occasion and her mood.I asked, if I can touch her and she slipped her head under my hand, pushing it against my body.
She feels good in her body and loves her people and people in general (after she got to know them).
I kept yawning and apologized to her. She said ‘you must sleep’. I told her I know that but I first have to feed and clean after the animals living with me. She thought for a moment and then said ‘yes, that is more important’.

Gold MemberHie
It’s my first time here at the forum so it’s nice playing with Dibs
I felt her at first v
A bit out of her body. Energy was around her head and out. At first I felt a feeling I thought mite be sadness, but it wasn’t it exactly, so I askes Dibsif it’s OK for me to talk to her and she glad to. I told her I came from that forum and playing and she was telling me she already know and explained it before.
I ask about how she feels, and she felt pain. I ask if this is pi
Hisical pain and she said she feel pain in her head but it come from emotional pain. I asked what make this pain and she talked about she want to be diffrent. Changing her self. I asked about it a few questions and she told me that people are afraid of her, and think she is mean, I asked what make her think that and she said she see them (their inside).
She said she love kids and play but she too exitment sometimes so it’s not aloud.
Then it felt a bit stuck so I asked if she want to change the subject and she did. She wanted to talk about her self and showed me some situation when she wanted something to eat from someone (could understand who) and she couldn’t… I did not understand why. I saw her like siting and watching, felt her wants but like freeze or unable to rich it.
She ran lot of information all the time and it felt a bit like a big salad of information, not all was clear or logical. But I felt her after the talk much more present at her body. I asked her if she want us sit together and just being and listen to the feeling that want to shown and she was glad to. I asked if she also want healing of some kind from m me and she said she already got from someone else. That all for now 🙂
Thanks

Inactive MemberHi Hadar,
Thank you for your communication with Dibs. Not sure about the emotional pain she is telling you about. When we walk in the park in the a.m. and she sees people she knows she goes crazy to see them and gets lots of attention, but if she doesn’t know them she barks at them and sometimes it startles them. Most people take to her real well so not sure why she feels that way. We do not have many children around here either. Dibs is a very good eater, the only time she is wanting something that maybe she cannot reach is when she has eaten her treats and her house mate is just keeping his treats between his paws but will not let her take them. That is my guess to what she is sending you in her thoughts. Thank you again and have a great day.

Inactive MemberHi Lori,
Thank you so much for the feedback. During our Q&A call I saw a peaceful yellow color surrounding Dibs. She was sitting in the center of a circle surrounded by all of us. First Dibs just sat there, but then started to go around in small quick circles as she looked curiously at each and every one of us. She was wagging her tail (back end of her body too). She was first a bit overwhelmed but then got very excited. She then very calmly walked around the inner circle and stopped in front a few of us, looked to see who she was ready to talk to, answered a few quick questions and moved on. At the end of the session, she exited the circle and announced she was going to take a rest. Thank you..Jo

Inactive MemberHello Jo,
Thank you for connecting with Dibs on our Q&A call. I always enjoy your connections, they are always positive and make me smile. I think it is so cute when Dibs gets excited and her whole body wiggles with her tail. I also find it amusing that she will answer a few questions and then end the conversation. I thought she would have a lot to say to all of you, but she seems to be quick to the point and then she is done. She did take a long nap after the call was done. I am glad she seemed to enjoy the connections. Thank you for sharing the information of the call connection, it is very helpful to hear what you saw and felt. Have a great day.

Inactive MemberHello Lori and Dibs.
I wanted to address Dibs and her nervousness on the call. So I said I’m sorry. Please forgive me. I love you.
That was the gist of it…
I’m always amazed at how some people get a whole novel during those sessions! 😊
Right now I connected with her and said I felt there was something from when she was a puppy before you met her. She said yes there was. I asked her if we could go back in time so it could be released and she agreed. So we went back in time to the first 4 weeks of her life. Something happened where her neck was squeezed by a stranger—someone who was looking at the puppies—and she couldn’t breathe. She was also dropped several times. I said I’m so sorry that happened. Please forgive me. I love you three times.
I asked if she would like some healing goo and she wanted some and it went deeply in and warmed and permeated her neck muscles and I felt her give a huge sigh. I said this is past. No one will ever squeeze your neck again.
She said she knew that. I said that’s really good and now you really know this.
I also said do you know the strangers you meet are safe? Lori won’t let anybody hurt you.
Dibs: I think I need to bark to make sure they stay away.
Barb: I know Lori will keep you safe without barking at the strangers. She has it handled.
Dibs: Are you sure?
Barb: I’ll tell her to let you know that before your walks.
Dibs: I do enjoy my role. I am not sure I want to give it up.
Barb: Well…that is between the two of you. You and Lori can work it out.
Dibs: OK! Wag, wag, wag….
Barb: I do know no strangers will ever squeeze your neck again. Thank You Dibs.
Dibs: Woof! That’s right! -

Inactive MemberGood Morning Barbara,
Wow! I read this last night and it teared me up, I read it over several times and wanted to respond back to you this morning because it was late and wanted to be fresh to respond and thank you so much for what you did for Dibs. Dibs was 11 weeks old when we saw her, it was her first home I think and they had her for a few weeks and said they did not have time for her so they were trying to find a home for her. She was being abused a this home for sure, I witnessed as we talked with the young couple there son was pushing her face in the dirt, kicked her and dropped her a little distance from us. The parents paid no attention to what the boy was doing. We stepped away for a moment to talk between my husband and I, I told him we are taking her from this abuse no matter what.
I am not sure what may have happened at the home where she was born, that may be when the choking happened.
She had a terrible first 11 weeks of life. I know that is why she is such a nervous girl. She gets a lot of love and reassurance daily to try to get her more relaxed and I can tell it helps. She is Border Collie, Australian Sheppard and Stafford Shire Terrier plus some bully breads. She is a high energy dog on top of all of the nervousness. Thank you for giving her some healing! This morning on our walk she was much more relaxed and calm. We even had some people that we do not usually see, we walk up in the grass a little away from them as they passed (that is what I usually do) and she stayed calm and did not bark at all. Which is a huge difference in what she usually does, especially when it was two men walking by. Also, she usually goes nuts when a vehicle is pulling a trailer, she stayed calm and did not even react to that either. I also told her that she will be safe on our walk this morning and nobody will harm her just as you suggested before we started this morning to let her know she would be safe. I really want to thank you for your connection with Dibs and your healing that you did for her. I guess when you are living with a situation, you think you are doing everything to try and help them through there issues but sometimes you miss doing the right thing to help them. What you did for her really helped. A big Thanks to you. I hope you have a wonderful day.

Inactive MemberHi Lori,
I am new to learning animal communication and I wanted to try chatting with Dibs again today since the Live Q&A. At the Live Q&A, she barked at me, and I instantly said “ohh I’m sorry” and she said, “no worries, you just startled me,” then she instantly rubbed up against me, pushed herself under my arms, flopped over and showed me that she loved belly rubs. I heard the feedback on the Live Q&A and felt that I did actually communicate with Dibs, so I wanted to try communicating with her again today.I generally like to ask if there’s anything they’d like to share or talk about and there were 2 things she brought to my attention: She mentioned that her favorite stuffy is a bunny and that there is a ball under a table or couch that has been missing for a while that she’d like found. I am not a confident animal communicator yet so I know this is a long shot as nobody else has mentioned anything about her toys or if she even had any, but these were the 2 images that came through most clearly and it’s what she wanted to share with me. Of course I am new to this and so I am quite hesitant and a bit nervous about sharing bcs I have absolutely no idea if my mind is making this stuff up, lol. Either way, can you please confirm if these are in fact true or if it’s just my imagination. Thanks Lori. 🙂

Inactive MemberHello Hedi,
Thank you for connecting with Dibs. I do believe you connected with her on the call, that is exactly what she does almost every day. So before I answered your other question about her ball I started looking, because yesterday we were playing and she came back without her ball and laid down for some love. Yes, it was wedged in a corner under a chest and she could not reach it. So yay!!!! That was correct, on the stuffed bunny I am thinking that she was trying to show you her other fun pass time of watching and chasing the squirrels on the side yard.
In my opinion, that looks close to a bunny minus the tail. The squirrels try to maneuver between trees and the fence to get to the feeder at the front of the side yard. She can spend hours watching and waiting for an opportunity to chase and harass them. I don’t buy stuffed toys anymore because her and her house mate Blue eat them. Lol
So over all I think you did great. Don’t be shy about posting what you get, our doubting ourselves is the hardest thing to get over. Keep practicing, I find it amazing how well you did. Have a great day.

Inactive MemberHi Lori I am new to the program as well and Saturday was the first live session I attended. I was nervous and felt overwhelmed when trying to connect with Dibs during the session so I left it until now when I could do it in a more relaxed time. I am struggling to quiet my mind and focus.
But I did have a converstaton with Dibs ( I think). I asked her what her favorite thing to do and she says she loves to PLAY. That came across pretty strong. She did mention she loved squeaky toys. She loves playing with her family but also happy just to play by herself. She also loves walking and sniffing all the new smells. She says she is happy with her food but loves dinner time–when asked why–she said that after dinner, everyone in the family is together and this makes her happy–a feeling of contentment.
She then gave me some advice–as I told her I am new to this. She told me to believe in myself. She also told me I have very strong emotions and feelings and not to let them overwhelm me. (she is very wise). I thanked her for her time and her advice. She then offered me her right paw for a shake and I was able to kiss her on the top of her head before we parted.thanks Dibs and Lori. Looking forward to more of this and learning to be more open and trusting.

Inactive MemberHi Lori,
Thank you for letting us communicate with Dibs.
I want to share what I got in our Q&A Call.
First time I look at her picture I was sure she is a boy and I felt I have a kind of block to connect and after I realize she is a girl I felt something opened in energy between us. I told her that I’m sorry my bad and understand it is important thing to her and I learned the lesson 🙂
My impression of her was she is happy, little shy – we were a big group and I waited patiently until she said Hello to me.
She feels warm and vital. I saw her wagging her tail a lot.
Her aura was rose pink.
I saw her curl up on the couch, she loves that.
In some point I saw she like bring me her back to scratch her back.
I thanked her and appreciate our connection and communication.
I will connect again next week…
Have a wonderful weekend! -

Inactive MemberHello Yaarit,
Thank you for connecting with Dibs. There were several people who felt a male energy from Dibs, sometimes when I walk her she will lift her leg and pee on a tree. Then she does that scratching in the grass to leave her scent, which mostly is a male thing so I do believe she can give off that kind of energy. Lol, not sure why she does that. She is shy when she first meets people. She also wiggles her tail a lot and if she gets real excited her whole body wiggles. She does love to curl up on the couch… She definitely likes you when she brings her back to you for a scratch, that is her other favorite spot to get scratched just ahead of her tail.
I am glad she feels warm and vital, that is always a good point so thank you for sharing the feeling and her aura color. I love to hear what other people feel and get from the connection with her.
Thanks again for connecting with her and have a great weekend.

Inactive MemberHi Lori, this is my communication from the live call: I initially felt older energy with youthful vitality. I felt all sorts of different personalities … including the older gentle complacent energy as well as younger vitality and fun loving. I got that she has hip joint pain on right side and on top of lower back/hip but still likes to play. I got that she is shy and gentle and goes away and hides out sometimes. I saw grey stitches and she came over to me with slight limp in hips. I felt fun playful happy energy and she wanted to play. After this I recall the sadness i initially felt when i tuned in with her. she said “lost my man but happy and so grateful.” I asked if i could help with anything. she said “scratch back ear.” I asked what to tell Lisa…”i LOVE the big mac? treats.” I saw an image of a white dog with black ears, male i think. Her aura for me was fuchsia orange reddish. I saw her sniffing for snacks on everyone. I saw a balloon. I saw a green rubber toy. Saw hot dog toy (or possibly food). white plate.

Inactive MemberHi Angela,
Thank you for connecting with Dibs. Dibs does show several personalities. She is shy and can be gentle, when she is happy or excited she can also be a little rough. I am not familiar with any joint/hip or back pain and I do not see any kind of a limp, that doesn’t mean that she doesn’t have a problem, she could also be good at hiding it from me but I will check it out. She loves to play all of the time. There are times when I can not find her and she is hiding out by herself. I am not sure about the grey stitches or limp, the only surgery she has had was when she was spayed. I also am not sure about her losing her man, her house mate is Blue and he is still here and doing fine. I also am not sure what she means by the big mac treats. In her eyes that could be anything. lol The white dog with black ears could be on our walks but I would have to start looking at them to be sure. I bet she was sniffing for snacks, she is a good eater. She does have a green rubber toy that she loves to play with, the hotdog shape could also be a long rubber toy that she plays with on occasion. I bring there food out on white plates, funny that she shared that with you. Thanks again for your communication with Dibs and have a wonderful weekend.

Platinum MemberHello Lori,
I re-connected with Dibs to find out about what is going on with her breathing. I was still feeling the heavy breathing again and it is connected with her heartbeat. Don’t be concerns I don’t think it is anything health related, but it is related to her energy/feeling. I felt like I was hyperventilating and seems to be connected to her mental situation. Is there anything going on at home that make her feel nervous (lots of things moving, people going in and out, etc.)? I am getting that there’s a bit more excitement than she can handle at the moment and it is the reason for her heavy breathing.
I did a breathing exercise with her where I am imagining my heart beating 1, 2, while I am breathing 1, 2 at the same slower speed. 1, 2 to breath in while heart beat slowly with it, and 1, 2 to breath out. I did that for a while and her breathing calmed down as well as her heart beat. I offered to leave her in a calming pink energy and she accepted. She is free to leave if she doesn’t like the space but she was there when I said goodbye.
I’m curious if her breathing got any better lately and if she does pant a lot, if you could do this exercise with her and see if she calms down a bit? I find meditating or doing breathing exercise with my dogs help both of us, so hope it helps her as well.
Thank you so much for letting us talk with Dibs and support to your fellow classmates!

Inactive MemberHello Chigusa,
Thank you for reconnecting with Dibs. I appreciate you letting me know that her breathing is related more to her mental situation. She has always been very nervous and emotional since she was a pup. Everything can set her off quickly, like today on our walk, it is very windy and cold this morning and just the noise of the trees blowing in the wind has her very nervous. I have been reassuring her on our walks that I will keep her safe and I was doing a healing Reiki meditation after our walks with both of my dogs but I have not kept up with them since the holidays. This was helping all of us and gave even me a better start to the day so I will start doing this again. I know I definitely I need it and I am sure it will help both of my dogs as well. She has been calmer so I am sure what you did helped her a lot, I will incorporate your breathing technique into our day to keep her more relaxed and help settle me down to, I know she feels my emotions also and I have been feeling a bit overwhelmed. Thank you again for helping Dibs, I really appreciate it. Have a great day.

Inactive MemberHi Lori, When I connected with Dibs
today, she appeared to be so serious and a bit quiet. I asked her if anything was wrong. Dibs told me she senses there is something coming up that might cause a change of environment, routine or life as she knows it. She didn’t quite know what it was. I told her I was really curious. I wasn’t sure if she was picking up what is going on in my life at the moment. Her mood then seemed to change and she was acting playful and back in the present moment. Maybe that WAS the message she was trying to get across. She ran off before I could say anything more. She sure is full of surprises. Thank you so much for sharing her with us. Every time I connect with her, she leaves me with a smile! -

Inactive MemberHi Dibs! It’s Barb
(She runs up wagging her tail and bumps my legs with a hug)
Barb: Your heart feels happy! How are you?
Dibs: I have been finding even more interesting things lately in my yard.
Barb: You have?
Dibs: Oh yes!!! Well some more little bugs have left their bodies for me to smell. I buried some too.
Barb: You did?
Dibs: Yep I like to dig little bits of dirt.
Barb: That sounds like fun.
Dibs: It keeps me busy and interested.
Barb: I’m glad to hear that. How are your walks?
Dibs: There was one scary man the other day but Lori helped me to handle it. She tells me I am safe every day. So far nobody has tried to hurt me anymore.
Barb: That’s good Dibs. How do you feel?
Dibs: I still get a little nervous. I trust her but you never know.
Barb: Right! I get that. Is there something more you need?
Dibs: Yes.So we went back in time and this time pictured a scenario that she would have liked to have happened. (The little boy could not get at her and no bad man came to squeeze her neck and there was lots of food and they were clean)I asked if she could let go of the other scenario and she thought that she could. I said you can remember how you would like to have had that life and now you are safe and secure. Lori is a calm, comforting leader who can take care of you now.
Barb: How do you feel now Dibs?
Dibs: big sigh.
Barb: That’s good. I thank you for teaching me and helping me to heal.
Dibs: I’m good at that.
Barb: Yes you are. -

Inactive MemberHi Barbara, Thank you for connecting with Dibs. I enjoy your connections with Dibs, it makes me smile and she is getting so much more relaxation with all of the beautiful new friends she has met this month and a lot of healing for her. Thank you for helping her deal with her early traumas when she was a pup, I can tell it has really helped her. I can tell how happy she is when you connect with her. I am also going to keep reassuring her on our walks because I can tell she likes it and it makes our walks much calmer…
Have a great day and thanks again.

Gold MemberThank you Lori for offering Dibs as the Featured Animal Teacher for January. I did try and connect but am not sure if I was accurate.
I got the impression Dibs was male and that he liked to go for walks to the beach with you and Blue. When there he loved to run after seagulls. He also loved to run after a stick that you would throw and he would return to you. He loved to do this, he was very energetic and got very excited.
Dibs also likes to just sit in the garden on the grass and look at things in nature – like birds and butterflies . The butterflies are orange brown (Monarch?) and Dibs thinks they are pretty and he loves to see them fluttering about. There is also a grey cat that he likes to watch. He said he is a great observer.
Dibs also likes to play with a plaited tug toy – both Dibs and Blue like to do this but Dibs is more energetic and gets more excited.
When I asked what Dibs likes to eat I got “Mackerel”. I thought this was a bit odd and when I asked again I got “Mackerel I told you”.
Dibs thinks Blue is great, they are great friends and love to be together. Blue acts as a protector of Dibs (like his father).
When I asked where do you sleep at night I got that Dibs has his own bed in the same room as Lori. It is square and the same height as Lori’s and Blue has one too.
Dibs dislikes being washed in the bath. It is a white bath with a glass separator.
When I asked if Dibs had any advice for AC for me I got “don’t be so tense, it is really easy and natural, just relax, you can do it. Don’t complicate it.”
When I asked what do you feel about Lori I got “I love her, she rescued me.”
I got the impression of a really lovely, friendly, good natured dog who was happy to help. He is also very energetic, excitable and perhaps could be a bit impatient at times (in contrast to Blue who is calmer)
Lori any feedback would be appreciated. Thank you. Angela -

Inactive MemberHello Angela,
Thank you for connecting with Dibs. You definitely connected by just reading your post! Many of the students got a male feeling when connecting with Dibs, however she is a female but does some silly things like lifting her leg to pee and then kicking her legs back to mark her area or leave her scent so it does not surprise me to keep hearing that she gives of a male vibe. We walk by the water every day but it is a river that opens up to the ocean, she does enjoy it and she also will run after the seagulls and other water birds, squirrels and any other wildlife that we encounter. I have to have a tight grip on her lead. Lol Both Blue and Dibs loves our walks by the water every morning. She will play fetch with sticks, balls, or the plaited tug toy. She loves the plaited tug rope, I have to put it up after playing with both dogs because they will end up chewing it up and swallowing it. Lol Dibs is very energetic and does get excited easily and Blue is the very opposite and stays calm.
Dibs loves sitting out back in the garden and hunt and watch everything from the birds in the sky to the ones that land on the ground, the butterflies and lizards as well, anything that moves. She also does watch the cat often I think she is very intrigued by the cat. I thought it was funny the she stated Mackerel was her favorite thing to eat. She does love fish, every now and then I give her sardines and she goes nuts over it, she also loves salmon so it would not surprise me if she liked Mackerel but I am not sure if I have given her that. Blue and Dibs are almost connected at the hip, they do not like to be separated. They do everything together and truly enjoy each other. They have been together from the beginning, Blue was 7 1/2 weeks old and Dibs was 12 weeks old. He definitely protects her, sometimes she will stand at the fence with him and she will stand up behind him and rest her paws on his back to watch with him together. It is so cute I wish I could get a picture of it but it doesn’t last long enough for me to get my camera out.
Yes, they both have there own beds in the same room with me and sometimes they will share the same bed. Both beds are elevated as well. OMG! I can not believe she shared that she totally dislikes baths. I mean she hates them, I am not sure why! Yes it is a big walk in shower with a glass door. WOW! You got so much information from her that was just amazing how accurate it is. Yes Dibs can be impatient at times but she is also very sweet and lovable too!
This was such a fun connection and enjoyable to read. Thank you for sharing your reading with us and you should be really proud of how well you did, I was amazed!
Have a great day.

Inactive MemberHi Lori: I was so pleased to connect with Dibs. I didn’t look at the other comments so I would not be influenced. Dibs was very willing to talk with me and I appreciated that. What I felt from Dibs is that she comes from a large litter of dogs and misses her young companions. She is friendly and sweet but does not like intruders in the yard. She would also appreciate a little more variety in her food.
Dibs is very happy in her home. And I think I got that she likes elderly people. She likes lying in the sun also. I believe she said that sometimes her back leg hurts. The gait is somewhat off and she cannot run the way she used to. I think there is another dog or small animal in the house.
Dibs loves being with her family and that is most important to her. She says she is “devoted to the family.”
You will be able to verify the back leg problem (if it exists) but it may be potential arthritis and if so – she would like more oil in her diet.
Thank you for allowing me to talk with Dibs. And I thank Dibs as well!
I’ll look forward to your response, Lori.
Blessings,

Thank you for your beautiful comments. It is always a fun and a pleasurable time when either Blue or Dibs is the (FAT) of the month. I enjoy reading everyone’s comments and connections and enjoy giving feed back the best that I can. I also learn a lot from each connection because some time they share information that I am not aware of or that Blue and Dibs don’t always share with me. lol

Inactive MemberHello Elizabeth,
Thank you for connecting with Dibs. Dibs has gotten better with the connections after the first week or so, at first she would not share much and run off. I am glad she seems to be enjoying it much more now. I am not sure how large the litter was but I am sorry to hear that she misses her young companions. She is a very sweet and loving girl. We ending up getting Blue a week later because I could tell she needed a companion. You are definitely correct, she does not like intruders in the yard, walking by or delivering something, Even the mail truck. lol I could tell recently she was a little bored with her food, so thank you for sharing. Blue is not a good eater but Dibs is and needs more variety so I will start giving her more options.
She does like older people, not real good with children I think because they move to quick and carry on a lot louder when they are playing. Dibs does enjoy lounging in the sun, I think Blue got her to enjoy to sit on the pool deck and soak up some beautiful sunshine each day. I am not sure about her having back leg discomfort but after reading your post I watched her outside for a few moments and noticed that both times she sat down she would shift on to the right hip. So I will keep an eye on that and funny you mentioned more oil in her diet, my order of omega 3’s came in today and started back on it this evening, I was out of it for a little bit. Blue is her house mate, but he is a very big boy, Dibs fits right under neath him. Lol They do enjoy each others company. I am glad she loves her family, she is a joy to have.
Thank you for sharing your connection and have a wonderful day! -

Inactive MemberHi Lori,
Thank you for letting us practice with Dibs. I am a new member in this forum and this is my first time practicing here. I hope I am doing this correctly.I am also new at animal communication, so i am not very confident about what I am getting, but here are what I think she said to me (my primary clair seems to be clairaudience).
[Personality] Dibs described herself as playful, friendly, loving, kind and intelligent. Through my interaction with her and my impression of her otherwise, I also would add upbeat, enthusiastic, and approachable.
{Activities] She said she loved to run. I think I saw images of her chasing something (looked like a frisbee) in a large grassy field. She seemed to be the only dog involved in the play. I also saw her chasing and trying to get a tennis ball size ball out of the ground (seemed like it was stuck in a slight depression in the ground).
[Family] I did not feel that you had other dogs in your house, but I felt presence of small animals around Dibs. I am thinking they are wild birds that visit your garden/yard regularly. I sensed that while she likes other dogs, she likes humans even more.
[Food] She seemed content with the food you give her, but got really excited when talking about bones. Do you give her bones as treats?
[Health] I think she said something did not feel quite right about her (lower) back. Not quite a pain, but maybe a strain. She said that this did not need urgent veterinary attention, but it has gradually been getting worse over time. I promised that I’d mention this to you. Of course, all of this could be completely made up by my mind, but perhaps you could have a vet check it out on your next visit?
[Requests] She says she’d like more play time. She seems to be referring to both playing with humans and with other dogs. Also, more treats, particularly bones, but anything, she said.
[Message] Dibs said, “Thank you for always being good to me and considering my needs. It’s been wonderful spending time with you. We have a strong bond and I know we’ll always be there for one another.”Not sure how much of this is authentic, but I hope some of these sound like they came from your Dibs. Thanks again for the opportunity.

Inactive MemberHello Yoko,
Welcome and thank you for connecting with Dibs. You definitely nailed her personality. She is every thing that you stated, she is only approachable if she knows the person otherwise it would take a couple of introductions. She always wants to meet new people but is a little shy and nervous at first.
She does love to run and play fetch, she does have a house mate, but he is a large dog and does not have the same energy that Dibs does. So, she usually is playing fetch with me and Blue her house mate watches. We do have some smaller dogs on the one side of our house, but she sits out back a lot and watches all of the wild life. I have bird feeders so she has a lot of bird and squirrel friends. She does prefer humans over dogs.
She is a very good eater and I do give her bones, she does love them. On the back discomfort you are about the third person to mention it so although she does not show and type of injury when she walks or runs I am watching her closely to see if I can figure out what is going on and if I can’t I definitely will get her checked.
Dibs always wants more play time, lol, I will definitely try to fit more in. Thank you for passing on her message to me, she is so sweet and loving and always is a pleasure to have her hear with me.
Overall Yoko, I think you did great, the information you receive from Dibs was very accurate. Congrats!
Have a great day.

Inactive MemberHi Lori,
Thank you so much for taking the time to provide detailed feedback. It is very helpful. It looks like I missed quite a few dogs in your home…lol. Glad to know Dibs’s got canine company as well as her small animal friends. Good also to know others picked up on her potential back issue. I hope it is something that can be easily cured.
Forgot to mention one thing – while Dibs is content with the food, she did say, “It’s okay, but they more or less taste the same.” So maybe different types of toppings (if you don’t already) may get her more excited over the food as much as the bones.
Thanks again.

Platinum MemberHi Lori! Thank you for offering Dibs as the FAT!
I’m connecting with her as I write this. She greeted me happily and was wagging her tail. I got that she still is haha! She just said she’s a happy dog. Happy-go-lucky! Weeeeee! “That’s how I feel when I stick my head out the window when Mommy’s driving and my eat flop around in the wind. Ooooh, it feels so good against my face and I love the things I smell!” She has just invited me to go with her.
Also, when I first started talking with Dibs and said to hold on because I was going to start writing this, she said she wanted to talk then! lol! So cute! She just said she can be a little impatient at times-only when she really wants something! She or someone told me to put the exclamation point there on that previous sentence.
Here we go on the ride! Yippee 🙂
I was going to sit in the back of what I think is an SUV, but I’m in the front passenger’s seat next to her and we’re buckled in She said she isn’t usually buckled in, but that the buckling in is for my benefit.. The moon or sun roof is open. There’s a potted tree (sort of bushy that gets trimmed so the green growth is even). I’m getting that it’s a small town and it’s outside a bigger city.
I just got “liquor store” and perhaps also “hardware store”. Then, I got “brick building” for the hardware store.
I got a butterfly just flew by us.
I guess now we’re at a park. Dibs says she loves to go to this park and play with the other dogs and SMELL! There is beautiful, lush green grass not treated with harmful chemicals. There’s a nice, big tree. Dibs says she connects with the tree and feels its beautiful, warm energy. She says she loves to lie in the sun at the park. I just got “golden retriever named Betsy” and “lab-yellow, black, and chocolate”. I also got “Rusty”.
Dibs says there is a cat who lives next door to where you all live or nearby.
I get that Dibs loves to swim and to also run through sprinklers and play in Slip ‘n’ Slide. “Oh, don’t forget the ball!” I got it’s a tennis ball and that there’s a smaller red one she likes, too.
She sent me a picture of her swimming in a pool. I’m not sure if she’s carrying a ball in her mouth. “Frisbee!”
“Snuggle with cat”.
“Tinker” just came to mind.
I also got that Dibs likes carrots and I think she sent an image of her waiting to be given a carrot (well, piece of a carrot).
She sent me a scent I think of what bark in the ground smells like to her.
She said, “Okay. That’s enough. I’m going to take a nap now” I said okay and thanked her for talking with me. I told her to enjoy her nap. She said she will. I told her I hope to talk to her again sometime and she said she does, too. She licked my face. I petted her head and gave her a kiss. Love to Miss Dibs! She just said, “Thank you” and sent me an image of her smiling 🙂 what a cutie pie!

Inactive MemberHi Martha,
Thank you for connecting with Dibs, I read this several times because it was such a fun read. Dibs can be very silly, she is such a happy dog. In the mornings and sometimes through out the day she will just start jumping around like a bucking bull would do and she will kick a piece of food or a toy around and paw at it, it is so funny, or she will get the zoomies. Dibs can get impatient! Haha! Dibs does love to go on car rides, I am not sure if she put herself up in the front with you because she gets way to excited to ride up front, she is always in the back…..Yes we are in an SUV but I don’t have a sun roof. Yes we do live in a small town.
I do not usually take her on errands because as you can tell she is very impatient. Haha! Right now she is playing soccer with one of her balls all by herself while I am responding to your post. She is such a nut… The brick building could be her vets office!
She does love to go to the park, that is the park we walk in every morning, it is along a beautiful river that opens up into the Gulf of Mexico. The park is very well landscaped with very nice grass and large trees. She will lay in the grass if I start to chat with different people we see on our daily walks, a lot of the times they stop me to mainly talk with one of my dogs, either Blue or Dibs. I walk them separately so they each have there own walk and quiet time. They get a little crazy trying to walk them together.
I am not sure of all of the dogs names that we see, but Rusty is a chocolate lab that belongs to my sister and husband. They live 2 1/2 hours away but she sees him every now and then. I do take care of a feral cat who now lives on our front porch, it is the only one that both of my dogs accept because he was here before they were. The cats name is Goldie, one of my neighbors named him a long time ago.
Dibs love to play in sprinklers and swim in the pool. She does have several balls outside when we play, green, pink, purple and blue. We don’t use tennis balls any longer because they eat the yellow fuzz off and the break them in half and try to eat them…. Haha! They were some crazy puppies…..
Dibs doesn’t like carrots now that she is older but she does like dehydrated sweet potato strips, not sure if that is what she tried to show you. She does love to smell bark. She’s spends a lot of time out back smelling everything.
I am glad you had such a good chat, she is a little cutie pie….
Have a wonderful day.
