Dayle has volunteered to host her horse Tommy as our next Featured Animal Teacher (FAT). I am sure you will enjoy getting to know this wonderful animal teacher.
Gold members will have an opportunity to connect with Tommy when Val works with him on the next call Saturday, October 8. All of you, both silver and gold members, are encouraged to connect with Tommy now and through the coming month.
Tune into Tommy first and see what you sense. It’s not just about getting words although that’s a lot of fun when it happens. Remember that telepathic comes from tele meaning over a distance like telephone and television, and pathic that comes from pathos. So literally telepathic is emotion over a distance.
How does Tommy feel to you? Is he happy? Sad? Excited? etc.
Ask Tommy ice breaker questions as you might with any new teacher. It’s not about “getting the right answer” but about connecting with a wonderful animal.
Have fun!
Many thanks to Dayle for offering to host Tommy as our featured animal teacher for this month. We look forward to Dayle and Tommy sharing feedback, information and stories along our journey.

According to Dayle:
“Tommy is a quarter horse, 21 years old, been with me for eight years. He’s been a school horse and a trail horse, and came to me through some interesting circumstances after my last horse died traumatically.”Moderator

Hi Dayle, Sorry you could not be on the call today….as always it was Wonder Filled. I had a bit of a talk with Tommy and would love your feedback on what I got. 🙂
I sense he is calm and patient with all the people who ride him (and have ridden with him in the past). He is concerned about their safety and comfort. He is playful yet tender in his demeanor. I saw him enjoying gentle walking, taking in Life, but then has bursts of overflowing energy and then just runs wild free for short stents. Akin to having a great surge of Spirit Happiness and must run to free up the Energy. hee hee I love that! Then he is content to comfortably languor on. He says he travelled far to be with you. (Did he come from America or just far away from where you both reside now? Or could he mean ‘travelled far’ … from Spirit world to Earthly world? not sure. ) He said he come to be with you to teach you never to fear LOVE and Absolute JOY! (Both are our Birthright yes?) Also, he is happy to be White… HIs White represents the Powerful Spirit dwelling within his horse body.
Oh My Dayle, you have yourself such a beauty of a Friend and Spirit Helper/Teacher. Oh, he likes carrots too. is that right?
Looking forward to your feedback. Hugs, PamPam, Pammie, Pammie Jean, Pamela.... you can call me any of these names.

Hi Pam,
Thanks for this. I’m sorry I couldn’t be there too, and sorry to be late commenting. We just came back across the border late last night and straight into our Canadian Thanksgiving, meaning people wanting to feed and entertain us.You got Tommy’s essence for sure. He is a solid ride and I do believe he is concerned for his rider. He was a school horse at one time and the story that came with him was that all the kids wanted him for their lesson.
Playful yet tender –absolutely yes. He does enjoy quiet walks, with a rider or by my side, and he does have bursts of energy where he will start a game of tag with one of his mates and run madly for a few minutes.
He was born a few hours from where I live now, and I bought him from a farm a few hours in the opposite direction. So he hasn’t traveled far physically to be with me but I don’t think you’re wrong there. It was a long emotional journey on my part and maybe his too, before we got to where we are today.
I love what you said about his lessons to me and his love of his colour. Beautiful messages. Thankyou.
…and yes, he sure does love carrots. And apples. And cookies. And anything else going that day.

Love the message from Tommy that you received, Pam. What a powerful message:
He said he come to be with you to teach you never to fear LOVE and Absolute JOY! (Both are our Birthright yes?)

Hi Doyle
Thanks for offering Tommy as FAT for this month. He is a wonderful horse. I connected with him during our last call. Just didn’t find the time to post yet.
When I approached him he started to nozzle my ear. My impression of his character: Tommy is relaxed and happy, fun loving and playful, but in a quiet and subtle way.
I told him looking at his beautiful body makes me want to ride him. But it wouldn’t be fair, because I am too heavy right now. His answer was that he is strong and can carry me for sure.
He let me know his purpose is to teach people to be calm and relaxed and to see fun and beauty in small things.A few days later he came to me in a quiet moment. Actually I was trying to find a solution for a problem at work when all of a sudden he showed up to tell me he had a beautiful trot as well. That made me laugh (and thus relax) and I came up with a solution. I thanked him for visiting and helping me. He smiled and left again.
Tommy is a remarkable and wise being.

Hi Klaudia, and thanks for the connection.
Your introduction to Tommy is exactly right for his character. He is a nuzzler, and “relaxed and happy, fun loving and playful, but in a quiet and subtle way” describes him to a tee.
I love that he came back to visit you and help you get centered again. It’s interesting to me that he mentions his beautiful trot, since I compliment him on it all the time. He has such goofy expressions and is so pokey and comical most of the time that it seems almost out of character, but he is a beautiful mover and people always comment on his trot when they see it.
Love it! Thanks again.

Hi Dayle, What a beautiful white horse. I saw Tommy standing in a field of all dirt surrounded by a brown wood fence. Not far off I saw a red barn with a white door which is large enough for one horse. I approached Tommy in the field and as I approached he turned his head and looked at me. I touched the top of his head and he seemed like he enjoyed it. Tommy seems like a very gentle and loving horse.

Thanks Barbara.
Our horses are in rotating grass paddocks, but overnight and during the winter we bring them closer to the house. This is a dirt field and it’s beside the barn but the barn is traditional barnboard, not red. The other place that matches what you saw is a dirt riding ring beside a tack shed, which is shaped like a tiny barn and painted red. It’s filled with saddles and equipment, no critters allowed, but it certainly would be big enough for one horse.
If he sees someone coming he always looks up and is friendly, and he loves to be scratched on his head under his itchy forelock.
Good job!

Hi Dayle,
I just asked Tommy to help me with my communication skills and asked if there was anything he wanted to tell me. I got lots of snorting, almost like a guffaw laughing! And he responded “Just go ride a horse and you can visit me anytime!!” so cute and comical! He is very lovable and full of fun!
Joy :o)
