Ilse has volunteered to host her dog Ruby as our next Featured Animal Teacher (FAT). I am sure you will enjoy getting to know this wonderful animal teacher.
Gold members will have an opportunity to connect with Ruby along with Val on the next Q&A call Saturday, October 14. I encourage all of you to connect with Ruby now and through the month.
Tune into Ruby first and see what you sense. It’s not just about getting words although that’s a lot of fun when it happens. Remember that telepathic comes from ‘tele’ meaning over a distance like telephone and television, and ‘pathic’ that comes from pathos. So literally telepathic is emotion over a distance.
How does Ruby feel to you? Happy? Sad? Excited? etc.
Ask Ruby ice breaker questions as you might with any new teacher. It’s not about “getting the right answer” but about connecting with a wonderful animal.
Have fun!
Many thanks to Ilse for offering to host Ruby as our featured animal teacher for this month. We look forward to Ilse and Ruby sharing feedback, information and stories along our journey.

Hi Isle
As I stated in my accountability report, I haven’t really have time to sit and try to communicate with Ruby, but when I sat and looked at him for a minute this was my sense of his essense ..
I just looked at him and got that he is full of energy and happiness. A fun guy.Hopefully can do a more thorough communication later.

Thanks Kathy, I will comment later on group call. Much Appreciated.
Hi All, hereunder a few questions I have about Ruby,
1. I would like you to find out how he feels health wise, especially all 4 his legs and back/hips
2. Why is he still so afraid of his harness or when I tough him unexpectedly.
3. Will he be ok to continue walking every morning for about an ½ hour at a slower pace, if not, will he be OK to stay home alone while I take Stella for a walk?
4. He has a dry cough which is getting worse and vets don’t know what is wrong
5. How does he feel with Stella being so “nasty” and taking away everything from him?
6. Does he still see well after his operation 2 years ago
7. Any other information is welcome! -

During the Gold Q&A call for October I heard from Ruby that he was beaten while in a harness and that it negatively impacted (perhaps broke) his hind legs/hips and was never medically treated so didn’t heal properly and creates pain for him sometimes. Also is why he has concerns in a halter. I felt a tightness and wondered if this the halter tightness he experienced during abuse and why he is sensitive (the skin sensitivity mentioned during the call).
When I asked him if the halter ‘pain’/’fear’ is related to his current situation, Ruby said no. We briefly discussed that this is an old fear that he could perhaps release and upon doing so Ruby said he he was feeling less fear and less struggle and less discomfort.Moderator

Hi Isle
I just tried to talk with Ruby again. I’m sorry. I had not read your questions prior to talking with him. I am just trying to hone my skills again. Also I did call in, but was unable to listen to most of the call as I was at work and got terribly at that time.
Again I got that he is a happy dog. I just feel the love and happiness emanating from him. It is his soul, his essence. I asked him how he felt, what he did today. He said today was a good day.
I asked him what he did. He said he ran and played. I said did you chase squirrels and he said no rabbits. I pictured him running through a big field chasing rabbits. I asked him if he had a large area to run in or a regular yard. I asked him to show me his yard. It was just a yard, not a big field. It seems that was what he was thinking about, like it is his dream to run and chase rabbits. He said he liked his dinner. Asked if he has been here as a dog before and he said yes. Asked what his purpose is with you and he said to make you lighten up and not be so serious. I forgot about Stella and asked if there was another dog in the household and he said yes. At that point I got interrupted so had to stop. Next time I will try to ask the questions you want answered and see if I get anything.

Hello Barb and Kathy, thanks so much for feedback.
Barb: 1. Yes he was badly “beaten” before we got him 11 years ago. He was just a puppy, about 19 weeks old. He was in a terrible state. When we went to training with him in the early days, we had to put a chain around his neck, and no way in this world would he allow us to do so, so I believe that he was beaten and tight down with chains???? Yes he still has this Old Fear.
Once his harness is on, he feels fine, so I don’t believe that the harness hurts him in anyway.
Kathy: Yes he is a Happy dog and full of Love. Such a peaceful and good hearted dog. Ruby is not a chaser, I have never seen him chasing anything even when we let him run loose in the fields. Yes we have a medium sized yard. He always loves his homemade raw food. Yes, I suppose I need to be less serious in my life, good for Ruby.
Claudia: Yes he is a very fearful dog, but it depends from what. He loves people, he loves other dogs and animals, but when it comes to plastic bags, chains, broom sticks, and for some reason Black Men only. Yes he seems to allow Stella to be the boss. He hates being left alone.
I did not get the last name: I don’t think his skin is dry because I always get complimented, even by the vets that he has such lovely coat and healthy skin (this could be because he gets a daily dose of coconut oil and homemade raw food) He only has fear from his harness when we put it on, once it is on, then he seems to be fine with it, so I don’t believe that is it hurting him nor is it too tight. We only put on the harness for security reasons because he usually runs loose on our walks. Thanks for feedback on eyes, this I cannot comment on, all I know is that he was completely blind until he got his cataract operation on both eyes two years ago. Re his cough – something he inhaled??? There I can not think what it could be?
I appreciate you all, and thanks for your efforts. Ilse -

Hi Isle
I talked with Ruby again yesterday while at work. Was interrupted a couple times, but mostly it was a good session. First let me correct something from the last post. I didn’t mean that he said he chases rabbits, that is what he was dreaming about. Could be something he has always wanted to do or could be a memory from a previous life. They can inherit memories and feelings from lifetimes ago or from parents. I also need to clarify something else. Having been breeding and training dogs for over 40 years, I have to say that dogs can be hand shy, back away from your hand and act like they have been beaten when I know for a fact that they have never been mistreated. Have had and seen puppies that fight the collar and a leash like they think you are going to kill them, again when nothing bad has ever happened. So just because he fought a chain collar at 19 weeks does not mean he was beaten and tied down with chains.
Ok, on to my session yesterday. First I did some healing touch with him and did not discover anything wrong or any place giving a lot of pain. I did magnetic unruffling which is ridding the body of any negative energy, which there was some, not a lot. Then I did chakra balancing on him.
Then I starting talking to him, don’t even remember about what now, but then told him there were some questions that you had so concentrated on those. Asked about his back legs and did they hurt. Got no, not particularly. Just that they feel old sometimes. I asked if by that did he mean weak and got a yes.
Asked about him flinching when you touch him or put his harness on. I wrote down “involuntary reflex, a memory but doesn’t bother him anymore. trying to control that as he knows you won’t hurt him and doesn’t want you to feel bad.”
I asked him about Stella and he said “she’s just a girl” like that explains everything. Was kind of funny. Asked about the walks. He likes and wants to go for walks. Not that happy about staying home while Stella goes – “unless I am going next”.
Asked about Stella, being nasty to him or eating his food and it doesn’t really bother him. Thats just how she is. Asked about the cough and did not get anything back at all. (?)I told him I would love to wrap my arms around him and hug him. He said go ahead and came close so I could. Such a great guy!

Yes, the reaction to the harness is more of a reflex to a former experience (not sure which lifetime) and that Ruby knows you and the current harness don’t and won’t hurt him. He’s delighted with the attention and the ability to get his messages out especially the ‘lighten up’ to you, Ilse. He wants to share his wisdom and is happy and has a sense of humor. He just gave me pats too. I need to lighten up too. Thanks, Ruby.

Sorry i m so late in this. Is Ruby a bit of a nervous dog? I see her following you from room to room always needing you to be in sight.
