ModeratorErika T has volunteered to host her dog, Keely, as our next Featured Animal Teacher (FAT) during February 2024. You will enjoy getting to know this wonderful animal teacher.
We encourage all of you to connect with Keely now and throughout the month.
Tune into Keely first and see what you sense. It’s not just about getting words although that’s a lot of fun when it happens. Remember that telepathic comes from ‘tele’ meaning over a distance like telephone and television, and ‘pathic’ that comes from pathos. So literally telepathic is emotion over a distance.
How does Keely feel to you? Happy? Sad? Excited? etc. Ask Keely ice breaker questions as you might with any new teacher. It’s not about “getting the right answer” but about connecting with a wonderful animal.
Gold and Platinum members will have an opportunity to connect with Keely along with Val on the Q&A call February 10th. Check your time on a world clock for call time of 11:30am Eastern / 10:30am Central Texas. World Clock at https://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/converter-classic.html) Call reminder emails will be emailed to you. Also, call information found in your course materials.
Have fun practicing your communication skills in this supportive setting! Lots of interesting discoveries happen here.

Terrianne McGrath
Inactive MemberHi Erika,
My impressions of Keely are that he is a kind, gentle, confident, happy dog. Although he can be aloof at times. He will quickly survey a new environment or persons from a distance and rapidly put all the puzzle pieces together before joining in. Once he joins in, he will share his exuberant energy with you. He is both happy and content. He has a lot of wisdom in his eyes. If there are or was other animals in the home, he would for sure be the leader/protector. He likes being outside and playing with sticks. He is happy to occupy himself outside until someone calls him inside. He loves being with his family. He is not much of a lap dog but he will lean up against you for affection. He is loved very much and he knows it. He can also be quite a clown, doing zoomies when he has an audience now and again.
Thanks!

Platinum MemberHi, Terrianne!
Thanks for connecting with Keely (we also call her Keys for short). You did a great job! She is kind, gentle, and confident, and she likes to suss out a situation or person before getting too involved. Once her walls are down, she’s a goofy love bug.
We have 8 animals at home, and Keys is the fan favorite. She’s the unofficial mama of the group and the younger dogs look to her for guidance on what to do in new situations.
She is not a lap dog with anyone other than me (and sometimes my wife), but she always has to be sitting near (or on) me.
She doesn’t really get zoomies, but she does get silly, especially if she wants attention or if she’s over-tired.
Great work, Terrianne!

I postedsome additional photos of Keely (she’s a girl) on the ATH section. They’re close-up photos that show her eyes better, if you want to view them.
Thanks!

Gold MemberI had a conversation with Keely just a few moments ago. She is a beautiful, gentle soul. I introduced myself and she said others had been contacting her, too. She feels honored and excited to be a teacher but maybe isn’t quite sure what she has to share. I asked how she is feelings. She says she’s happy, has lots of energy and feels good. I sensed there was a bit of pain in her back left hip area. She says it’s nothing – probably from roughhousing yesterday. She’s not worried about it. I asked if she was worried about something. I sensed some level of chaos that is sometimes stressful for her. I couldn’t tell what it was – like a lot of kids being loud, maybe fighting or playing too loudly, or some other family disruption, maybe changing a normal routine. She’s not too worried, but stressed about it sometimes.
I see lots of greens and blues around her. I’m not sure if I am sensing aura colors or actual physical surroundings. I asked if there was anything she really wanted to share. She asks – just one??!! I said more than one thing is fine, just whatever she wanted me to know. This is what I got. I don’t like slugs/snakes. I agreed they could be surprising. She does like to run. Running is fun for her. She said I should run and play because it feels good to do those things.
I thanked her for her time. She said she’d like it if I talked to her again. She enjoys talking with people.

Platinum MemberHi, Dakota (my wife’s name is Dakota, too)!
It sounds like you did a great job. She is kind and gentle and LOVES to run.
I can see her not being sure of what to do as a teacher, but I know she loves to be involved.
She is generally happy and rough houses with her siblings, and she may be feeling worried because we found a blind kitten over the weekend, and she has caused quite a commotion. She (the kitten) is being kept in our front bathroom to get her acclimated, and all of the dogs are curious and excited and sniffing by the door. Keely gets jealous when I pay attention to any new baby because she’s my baby, and our routine is a bit disrupted with the newest addition. (We have 4 dogs and now 5 cats, FYI)
I’m not sure about the blues/greens; she does have a very calming energy, so it could be her aura. We also spend a LOT of time outside (which she loves), so that could be blue/green, and we have a blue house with green/earthy paint in our living room.
Running at full speed is one of her favorite things to do, so you nailed that. The slug/snake is a bit confusing to me. She’s seen snakes before and has never really responded to them; ad a puppy she was curious about them but we never had a bad encounter. Maybe she knows that I’m scared of them and am on the lookout when we hike?
Thanks for talking to her; you did wonderfully!

Platinum MemberHi Erika,
I enjoyed communicating with Keely during the call. Thank you for offering her as the Featured Animal Teacher. Here are my notes from the communication:I want cookie. What do you want. Can I have some of yours?
I am wise and have so much to share with Kommy? Can you tutor her, Martha?
Me specifically? Why me? Because we all have a previous connection.
I can mention that during the call or privately to your mom and talk about It perhaps.
I am beyond warm nurturing Loving affectionate. Sometimes goofy.
Pink
Confused sometimes because I don’t understand people. Ego worries and other stuff and why they want us to behave a certain way. There are reasons why I behave how I do. I can tell you another time Martha
Light blue sura. White lavender up a bit higher and gold shining to her from above.
Playful partial jumping
Favorite thing to eat chicken but affects my tummy
I Live to chew
Tennis ball and low run to get it. Tennis racket
Loves window rolled down to smell.
Hate being away from mommy. I even when I go in yard come in to be with mommy and talk to her and make sure she’s okay.
I am always intube woyh and attentive to her.
She feels pink inside
I’m between personality
Different areas of fur feel differently
Mentioned paw bothering her a little. Kind of dry and itchy. Cool feels good. Sometimes ground too warm.
Sent me gold for Love. I reciprocated and told her I love her

Platinum MemberHi Martha,
Wonderful job! I’m not surprised the first thing she asked about was a snack — she is very food motivated. She is the reason I am learning about animal communication; she has told a couple people she really wants me to be able to communicate with her. I am curious about how we’ve all been connected; that’s really cool! I do know she was my mom in a past life. I have been having some blocks recently, especially with my own animals, so I’ll take any help I can get!
She can be quite silly, and she’s very loving, nurturing, and sensitive. Good job!
I can definitely see her having a blue, lavender, and gold aura.
She’s a big jumper, especially when shea excited. When it’s dinner time, she jumps straight up with all 4 legs off the ground (like 3 hops). I didn’t know chicken bothered her belly, but I can attest that she likes to eat it!
I’m not sure about a tennis racket (she has never seen one in this lifetime), bit she does chase tennis balls sometimes. She loves to have the windows down so she can sniff when we are in the car, and she enjoys chewing on bones and other dog toys.
She’s exceptionally bonded to me and doesn’t like to be away from me. She gets depressed when I leave the house, and she’s very much my shadow.
We take the dogs for a lot of walks year-round, so we’ll be mindful of the warmth of the ground for her feet – thank you! I will also check her feet to see if there’s anything wrong currently.
I’m glad she sent you some love; she’s a very sweet, almost maternal girl. Awesome job, Martha!

Gold MemberHi
Thank you for allowing me to speak to Keely and being the FTA.
I do not read other members’ comments prior to my communication. This is what I received and hope it resonates with you
Sense Keely is an older spirit in a younger body. Cautious, especially of new people and takes her time to get to know and trust them. Treats. Is inquisitive, to know everything and gain as much knowledge as possible, whether it’s sniffing or observing. Loves going for walks. To run free and likes to feel the ‘air’ rushing around her. A fast runner that sometimes it’s difficult to keep up with her. Loves wide open spaces. Enjoys catching up with friends.
Keely, lightly snoozing and basking in the sunlight is lying down head on front pores. Her ears alerted, eases herself up and slowly walks towards a seated me. Bends her head, inviting head rubs and pushes her body tight against mine so I wrap my arms around her. Face to face she asks how I am.
She enjoys being the FTA and waiting to see how it goes or ‘pans out’ She’s curious about the FTA but also taking it in those stride as though it’s just a job but a nice job.
Keely’s face glows while she tells me she enjoys, but misses running, which she is good at, as she grows older but doesn’t mind because she knows she’ll be back as a young dog again to continue the thrill of running ‘That’s what dogs do’ she tells me. Tell her it sounds fun.
Keely’s job is to teach humans different things and experience everything.
Tells me you have been together before, but you don’t remember, but one day, one day but not now, as it’ll make no difference, even though I told her that her mum might be interested. Keely also said you may remember or feel the connection. Seems she’s leaving the options open. However, added. Last time we were together – (heard the the numbers 1890s)- it doesn’t matter when it was, it’s the here and now that matters. It’s the same for all of us
There was nothing I could help her with today, except she mentioned treats. Although she likes treats that are not hard but soft and tasty. Shown, colour orange and a long thin brown rolled substance. Keely says she shouldn’t have too many treats and prefers them now and then because they are tastier, otherwise they become like normal food. She could be right but I sense she properly wouldn’t refuse any if given to her.
Keely didn’t reply when asked if there was anything I can do or she wanted today. Shown a round white shape with a yellow center. A red lead/harness hanging on the hook by a door with glass panels.
Have you a message for mum
Relax. Be confident in yourself. What you think is right, is right. Don’t waste time pondering on things you cannot change’
It’s for a reason, good or bad, but a reason. Think of the reason. What lesson does it give you. Trust yourself, you will be fine. Trust me. Trust yourself. No doubts, except, what is, and move on. I am here for you and you are for me. Love K
Give my gratitude to Keely for taking the time to communicate with me. She stood up, stretches her limbs and shakes her body then licks my nose. I plant a kiss on her forehead and gave her head strokes. She looks at me as though delving deep into what is beyond my eyes and gives a light snort – huh, before turning and walking away with wisps and spirals of blue emanating from her entire body
Thank you for allow me to communicate with lovely Keely

Platinum MemberHey Sandy,
Nice work! Keely is an older soul and is almost 5 years old. She’s cautious but friendly around new people and she LOVES treats of all kinds. She loves going for walks, being off-leash, and running at full speed. She also likes to have the windows open in the car and she sniffs everything. She’s ridiculously smart.I give her full body hugs all the time, so it doesn’t surprise me she greets you with a hug.
I do feel very connected to her and know we were together in past lives. I can’t quite recall it or know the exact roles we played, but I think she was my mother.
It makes me laugh that she thinks she should savor treats and only get them as special rewards, because she will house some food without even chewing it. She’s a food-motivated girl and I don’t think she’s ever turned down any kind of snack. 🙂
I’m not sure what the white circle with yellow center is, but can confirm that we do have the harnesses and leashes hanging on a hook on the back of the closet door. Hers is purple, but we do have red harnesses/dollars for one of the other pups.
Her advice for me is relevant as I’ve been pondering a lot of things and feeling overwhelmed and stressed. I have been doubting myself in a couple of areas, so I appreciate her advice (and your translation).
Lovely job (and beautiful descriptions). Thanks for talking with her!

Gold MemberHi
Many thanks for feedback – appreciate.
Pleased to know some things resonated with you and Keely’s message was relevant for you.
The yellow centre with white surround – could be an egg, garden flowers
I will connect with Keely again and hopefully she’ll give me some info re past lives. I didn’t have much time to dig further down on this subject, even though she did give me date and picture
Take care

Gold MemberHi
Sorry it has taken so long to get back to you in regards to Keely’s past lives. I completed several sessions with her. This is what I received.
This may take time to read, digest content and may/not resonate as wanted to ive you a wider view, however, symbolically it could have meanings relevant to you. As of note: I live in the UK not USA
I do not read other members comments prior to my communications
Keely is waiting, standing upright in the commanding stoic pose. Lowers head and walks to me for head rubs, which I give her.
Reminded Keely of our last conversation and today with her permission, would like to talk about her past lives. She agrees.
Erika, your mum, feels you are soulmates and have shared past lives together. Can you tell me more. Keely sits down, making herself comfortable and slumps her heavy, solid body against mine. I give her a hug
We have been together five to six times. I ask which past life she would like to tell me about.
Heard ‘1920’s’ Pavements bustling with people hurrying thru the crowds attempting to dodge those walking slowly as though on as Sunday walk. Shown ladies dressed in floor length skirts with tight fitting thigh high length jackets. Wide brimmed hats with feathers and pins adorn their heads.
Shown a 6 year old white with black spots female dog, called Trixie. Describes herself as tall, majestic and elegant and likes her red collar. Lives in New York with a lovely, kind but stern man who is the manager at the bank. Shown a rotund mid-hight male wearing a check dark gray suit with matching waistcoat from which hangs a gold pocket watch. Upon the man’s partially bald head sits a bowl shaped hat.
He constantly looks at his pocket watch, he’s not in a hurry, sense it’s a habit or is ‘clock watcher but something else is going and he’s nervous about it, Heard in a gentle but firm voice ‘George. Please stop looking at your watch. Forget about work today.’ that came from a woman wearing a floor length white lace dress whose arm is linked round the man’s arm. The woman is carrying a rolled up white lace parasol acting like a walking stick but she is not infirm. The dog leisurely walks beside her
Trixie says she’s lived with the man and the lady since she was a puppy in a basket and ‘that’s where the girl saw me’. We were meant to be together. The dog tells me the girl, hear name ‘Elizabeth’, always wanted a puppy – me – so when she was old enough, her humans brought me, from somewhere out of the city, to her. That was nine years ago. The man, a banker in Silver Springs. Kentucky got promoted with a bigger salary and moved to New York about 6 years ago
Shown a big house with a garden at the back where the dog runs free and has lovely walks. Tells me it is called Central Park Avenue with a park running alongside of house
Shown two brick pillars on either side of a tall black metal gate that opens up onto a narrow path to the large stone house set away from the pavement .
Several wide narrow steps lead up to a wide shining black door opened by a man dressed in livery clothing as the people and the dog reach the top step. A young blonde girl, aged about 7- 9 years of age with ringlets to shoulders, wearing the white dress with a blue ribbon waistband rushes towards them to fling herself at the dog. Hear laughter as they all enter the house. The dog turns and looks at me and smiles.
Hear names: Mary, Elizabeth Mildred, Maude… Hutchings…. George… Montgomery… Aitkins or similar – Atkinson
When asked: What happened to you, the family. Trixie: Girl was flighty. Always with the latest styles of clothes, lots of friends. She became too busy for me. My time was up. I taught her to shine to become herself. She came and visited but wasn’t the same. It was the time of New Beginning New Hope. New ways of living. The house grew silent. The older humans became older and tragedy came. Everything went cold and dark. Hear people panicking and words, Wall Street crash. Everything was gone. Shown the house, now derelict and overgrown with greenery. Older couple no more.
Trixie tells me. Her time was up and had fulfilled her contract as their protector and taught them to live in the moment. Girl worked hard as a typist, not much work around for anyone. Came down the social ladder as did many others. Girl (Elizabeth, Maude?) married, had one girl. Elizabeth, Maude?
Tells me: Trixie was not reunited till now, due to Trixie having another job. We don’t count years. It’s all the same to us. It’s you humans that count the years. We come back again and again till lessons are learnt. It is our contract. She has almost learned the lessons. She has to learn to be her higher self. When that happens we will be one.T: My lesson is to trust the humans so they will learn their lesson. To help them on the right path to learning of Life’s meaning. To be the best of their highest self. The humans let me down. The girl forgot me. Me. She came back and visited you. T: It wasn’t the same. We didn’t have a connection. Humans get older and change. Me: How do you feel about your current mum, Erika. T: She’s kind. I love and she’s good for me. We are connected as one. I was and am her protector and keep reminding her – we are one, of the same soul. Her breath is my breath. My life is her life
Message for Erica, your mum.
You are as before, on a journey. You are now aware, our souls are entwined for the good of a higher self. To become one blessed soul. Embrace what you know. What you will know to come. I’m by your side, now as in the past, and in the future. Love and blessings Keely
Give Keely my gratitude, thank her for showing and telling part of her story. Wrap green light around her. Yellow, green, purple’s and blue spirals and shards of light emanate from her body.
Me: Would you like to tell me about another lifetime on earth with Erika.
Shown in the midst of dense smoke and her noises of men firing from long rifle/musket type guns and cannons explosions.
A torn, dirty red flag with a blue X inset with white stars is held up high flying amongst the clouds of dust and smoke of its surroundings. Sense and feel is a major battle. Nearby inside a canvas tent, a group of men of every military rank lean over maps. Some soldiers wore gray uniforms, while other soldiers wore dark blue uniforms
Nearby, women from the Choctaw tribe mill around tending a large cauldron over makeshift fires. Children playing on the dirt ground while dogs roam. A young giggling girl called Moon Spirit is patting a mixed breed curly dark haired gray female dog’s back and throwing scraps of food to the dog to eat.. The dog is called Chinnaw, A woman calls and the girl runs to the woman. The dog watches the child while eating. The sun is setting. The girl is laying on top of a red and brown coloured and zigzag patterned material.. Another piece of material covers her body. The dog lays down beside her. Asked what year is this. Shown and heard 1836.
Dog tells me: The group of people were helping the soldiers but were no good. They wanted our land, the plains and mountains. We follow the buffalo and harvest our food. I apologize on behalf of humankind for what happened to them and that not all humans are bad.
Heard that the dog and the girl, Moon Spirit, married Running Deer of Big Foot of the Pictaw Tribe. They had three girls, and lived happily together in the mountains and valley. Heard Saskatchewan and Manitoba. till the girl and dog grew into old age and their love for each other lingered on.Give my thanks and gratitude to those who spoke to me and showed me their lives. Wrap Trixie, Chinnaw and Keely in green and pink light. A spiral of white, pink and green encased everyone spinning ever faster and faster till they became one
Food. Treats are tasty and new to her. At some point in her past lives there may have been lack or uncertainty of having food to eat and may have often felt hungry. Reassured Keely there will always be food for her to eat provided by her mum. Keely says she can relax now knowing more food is to come. Also told her that eating too much and quickly may not help her digestion. She became much happier, chirpy and bounding around.
A very wise humble quiet patient dog. A delight to get to know Keely
The flag could represent a symbol of Southern Heritage
Keely wants reassurances. Loves her home. Doesn’t want to leave till the time has come.
Keely’s job, past and present is to be a protector. In the two examples given. The dog is protecting the girl, which symbolically could be interpreted as being a mother protecting her child. Also Her job is also to enable the human to reach their higher selves.
Thank you for allowing me to connect with Keely and of course your time and effort.

Platinum MemberHi Sandy,
Wow this blew me away. What a beautiful translation you shared (and how detailed!!). Thank you for taking the time to reconnect with Keely and to ask her about her past lives. I love that we have spent multiple lifetimes together, and it sounds like I’m closer to knowing my higher self. I am grateful to Keely (in all her forms) for finding me and leading me to my truth. I have been crediting her with my starting to practice animal communications and getting in touch with my spiritual side, and I can’t express how much love I have for her.Thank you so much for connecting, for taking the time to type out all of what you received, and for helping me with my overall process. I am truly grateful.

Gold MemberHI
Many thanks for your lovely reply in regards to my communications with Keely. It was a great pleasure talking to her.
Glad Keely’s unfolding story of her past lives resonated and has helped you
Looking at the communication from an ‘outsider’ the message is clear and strong: you are entwined and her job is to help you achieve your highest self. Keely is the ‘mother figure’ – to nurture and to enable you to best the best of you. The battles you face enroute
Within the communications will be symbolism and meanings and think more can be learned when reading it again.
I checked the dates given and are significant in USA history 1836 Battle of the Alamo, USA Presidential Elections and so on – I find it interesting
Wishing you well on your journey
Many thank again for allowing me to talk to Keely
Take care

Platinum MemberDear ERika
I connected to Keely on the FAT call – here’s what I got!I got that Keely is gentle dog.
She has a loudish bark. She barked in greeting, and barked for joy.
She is very excited to be FAT. She hasn’t done it before.
She likes it because it is a new way to be helpful.Does she carry a cream/light brown piece of cloth or toy?
Do you have a cream sofa and a light-filled house? She likes beef – ground or minced not chunks – and biscuits.
She has a feathered tail and shiny coat.
She loves running and being outdoors. She showed me a picture of her chasing and hunting pheasant type birds. She is a fierce protector of family and territory.
She is an old soul.
Seh loves a chest rub.
She sleeps downstairs in her own bed.
She says that when she follows you round the house, she is helping you.
She likes music and is full of life!
Thank you, Erika.
Any feedback most welcome,
Rosemary 🙂-

Platinum MemberHi Rosemary,
Thanks for talking with Keely!
She is very gentle but has a loud bark. She sounds quite ferocious but she’s all bark.I can see her wanting to be helpful by being the FAT. I think she’s enjoying talking with so many of you.
She doesn’t really carry anything around as far as a toy or blanket, so I’m not sure what that might be. We have brown couches, but we have some tan/cream dog beds in my home office, and it gets a good amount of sunlight in there. We spend a lot of time in my office so I have 4 dog beds in the corners.
She likes to chase animals and she likes to chase birds (although she doesn’t hunt in this lifetime). She enjoys watching them fly away.
She is absolutely a protector (hence that scary bark but soft inside), and she’s an old, wise soul. When I finish rubbing her chest/tummy, she will pull my hand back to tell me that I’m not done yet. 🙂
She loves to be outside and she’s a very fast runner.
We have a single-story home, and Keely does not sleep in her own bed, so that part isn’t quite right. She has taken to sleep smack-dab in the middle of our bed, and she has to be touching me in some way.
It’s sweet that she thinks she’s helping me, and she does follow me around the house (unless my wife has food in another room, then I’m old news!). Food always wins.
She does enjoy music and she’s got the best personality. You did well, Rosemary, and I thank you for talking with Keely!

Platinum MemberDear Erica,
I did not read through the other communications, to not be influenced.
this is what I get:
I connect to her and the first thing she shows me is a bright light. I have to lough, because with my material eyes, I see the black fur and it is like she sends me that light, not to get confused with the color of her hair. I greet her and she is open and looks at me. she tells me, that she has been talking to many people and that she actually feels less anxious than when she met me first time. She is still cautious and a bit alert. this seems to be a part of her character or trauma. Now she shows me the place where she lives. it is warm and some green/gray color on the Walls. windows and a nice cosy dog bed. she sais: this (bed) is from my mom. she likes to be very close to her mum and enjoys her energy. she carries something from bevor, but still she is not showing me, where she was, bevor she came to her mom cleary. it looks to me like a shelter. a small place.
She tells me, she is sensitive to food. she feels sick easily. Now she brings me her favorite toy, it looks, like a toy animal to carry in the mouth. She is a highly sensitive dog and very sweet. I say thank you for sharing all the information and tell her I have to go and will come later again.-

Platinum MemberHi Nicole,
I am so sorry for the delay in replying! Fantastic work talking with Keely, though! She is a bit cautious when meeting new people; even when she knows them, she’s still hesitant at first. You were also correct about our house; our home has earth tones, so our living room is green and our guest room/cat room is gray.We have many dog beds around our house (9 of them!), but she prefers to sit with me on the couch or sleep on my bed. She loves to be very close to me and we have similar energies, so we sync more than she does with my wife or other people.
As far as what she’s carrying, I’m not 100% sure what that may be. We got her when she was 12 weeks old, so she was relatively young and living on a farm with her foster family (and seemingly happy). What she’s carrying may be from a past life, though.
She may be a bit sensitive to some foods– at the time you wrote your post, a couple of our animals had been passing around a mild stomach bug. Generally, she has an iron stomach and will eat ANYTHING edible. She’s a very food-motivated girl.
She doesn’t play with toys often, but when she’s being silly or wants attention, she grabs a toy opossum or a stuffed turkey, so I would imagine that’s what she was sharing with you. You’re right that she’s highly sensitive and sweet. She’s very nurturing to the other animals in our house.
Really nice work, Nicole. Again, I’m sorry for the delay, but thank you for talking with her!

Gold MemberHello,
today I connected with Keely. She is used to having attention of others, so it is “normal” thing being a teacher for us, she is already a teacher, she feels like it.
She said: I am friendly. I love being patted on my head and over my body. I really enjoy reiki healing.I like water and that running around and splashing. My chaf is trying to hide and thinks that I smell and needs to shampoo me after.
When I do not like doing something, it takes me a little time, I hesitate, to do it or not. I always do it for my chef.
I am very playful. I ( a person) can see her love for running and jumping, loving things like agility and frisbee.
Sometimes I have stomach ache when I am in stress when is my chef coming back home. I am ready all the time to be with him.
I can see three people around. I am their gardian. I have a comfortable life. I feel my chef is often away for me for a long time.
THe colours that I (as a person) feel (I do not see them) is light purple and gold.-

Platinum MemberHi Martina,
Thank you for connecting with Keely. You’re right that she’s used to having attention. She’s also a teacher– all of the other animals look to her for guidance and leadership.
She is very friendly and loves to get pets. She does enjoy Reiki healing and having that kind of attention and energy directed at her. She and her younger sister enjoy running through puddles, but fortunately, Keely doesn’t need to get a bath very often. It’s funny that she doesn’t enjoy baths, but she likes playing in water.
She can be stubborn at first, so when you said she hesitates before doing what I ask her, you’re right. I can see the wheels turning when she’s trying to decide to do what she wants or what I ask. Usually (not always), she ends up doing what she is asked, so she’s a good girl.
She loves to run and she’s a very jumpy dog. When we give her dinner, she jumps all 4 feet straight off the ground. She’s an excited hopper. 🙂
She is very attached to me (we don’t have any men in our house), and she does get sad (maybe ill) when I’m gone. I have always associated her with the color Purple, so I think you’re spot on there!
Great job, Martina!

Platinum MemberHi Erika, thanks for allowing me to speak with Keely, and apologies for this delay. As you know I lost a girl suddenly on the 5th and been very ill since. This conversation is from last month before Keely was FAT, and I had hoped to connect again before posting. However, that did not happen, so I’m posting what little I got then from the few short notes I made. You know I’ve enjoyed speaking with all your kids, so Keely asked me what took me so long, as she was the last!!
I was so drawn to her wondering, soft eyes and some enigmatic quality indicative of an old soul. He is She’s present in the now, nurtured by your support and care. Is she middle aged…somehow seems to be more mature than her age. Love all the additional photos! She is so pretty, with a green aura (maybe gentleness?) smooth to the touch. She can be a bit wary too. Her bark is loud, and she loves to race around. She is very alert and has an extra sharp hearing.
I don’t know if anything at all resonates with you, and I hope to connect with her and the others once I’m on my feet. Thanks again and much love and thanks to you and yours.

Platinum MemberHi, Nita!
Thank you for chatting with Keely. I know it’s been a rough month for you, but Keely will love to talk with you when you feel like you’re able to get back into it.I can see her asking what took you so long to contact her — she hates to be last! She views herself as the “leader” of the group and wants to be treated with respect, although she will occasionally defer to Kaden since he’s 13.
Her eyes are very expressive and she’s an emotional girl. She is only 5, but definitely an old soul, and she’s matured a lot in the past year or two. I can imagine her having a green, peaceful energy/aura. She’s very gentle despite her size and strength and she can be wary of new things/people. She does have a loud (and scary sounding) bark, but she’s all bark and no bite.
Great job, Nita! All of my kids have enjoyed connecting with you, so come back anytime! 🙂

and there’s bushes. there’s grass. you have toys. I see you getting ready to play you like the shaky toys, something soft, you like that more than running and chasing, there’s another dog who likes to run and race and chase that you like to play with. But you like to shake it and like to have it with your owner. That’s awesome that’s awesome. and so what is your house look like is it tall is it short ?
It is one story One story it has windows on the back. You get in the car and go for walks. You have to be on a leash sometimes.
Is there a place where you can go where you don’t have to be on a leash?
I see you going on walks when you’re not on leash.
OK, I get the sense of coastline. is bushes not big forest. with other dog and come back to your mom and maybe your dad your family goes sometimes or some different people. not just your mom,Where is your favorite place to sleep inside or to rest inside? Show me inside your house. Do you have a couch that you can get on and you like that? I’m getting a sense that another dog is smaller than you. I just see you on the couch.
What is your favorite thing to eat? There is something that you really like. I see you, you’re like, oh I can’t wait for that.
It’s wet. She’s taking out canned food. You get leftovers. You like that a lot. Crunchies, that’s OK. But you like leftovers from the plate and you like canned food. You’re very grateful.
So how did and your mom meet? how did you come to be with her? I’m not getting anything. Did you have a life before you met her?
Yes. you don’t really care about talking about it.
It’s really important, the life you have now life and your mom. Gratitude and joy always. If you could change anything at your house what would you want to have?
More time. That would be good for you.OK do you know how old you are? you think you’re six years.
you go from room to room sometimes looking for someone to play with or to interact with. to connect with. you bark sometimes to get their attention.

Does she go away to work? Does she leave the house and go to work?she leaves the house but you’re not sure where she goes. You wait. You can’t go out on your own. You have to go to the door and bark
Anything else you’d like to tell me any special message for your mom or for me?
I love you mom. I am here for you.Wanna tell me what your purpose is? It’s joy. it’s to bring joy and to be joy and I’m always ready to make her feel loved and help her in anyway that I can whatever she does. I want to be there and support her with my presence and help her. I also bring joy to the house and everyone in the house. I connect them all. They all connect to me to and through me.

Hi Keeley.
Curious sweet connected loving being. always looking for what’s next. always looking for how to connect.
— Yes, she’s very curious, sweet, and loving. She has a great energy.Have you enjoyed being the featured animal feature this month?
I am always looking for a way to connect. I am always ready for whatever game you wanna play next. Is that right?Yeah.— That’s awesome to hear. She can be wary with new people, so it’s exciting to hear that she enjoyed being the FAT and meeting everyone. I think it helped to keep her busy and distracted while I started a new job (and haven’t been as accessible lately).
so tell me something about your life. who lives at your house?
mom dad. teenager?
Maybe. not sure. Boy. OK not sure
And other pets cat dogs?
dogs?— We have 2 women (myself and my wife) and 8 other pets (5 cats and 3 more dogs).
Tell me about your home. Do you have a fenced yard? wire fence? maybe wood on one side or the other?
— We have a wired fence in our back yard. It’s a bit muddy this time of year, but in the spring/summer, it’s quite green and grassy with lots of greenery growing along one side of the fence. She has a bunch of toys in the house that she shares with her friends, and her favorites are 2 stuffed animals (a turkey and an opossum) and some chewy toys (bone-shaped things).and there’s bushes. there’s grass. you have toys. I see you getting ready to play you like the shaky toys, something soft, you like that more than running and chasing, there’s another dog who likes to run and race and chase that you like to play with. But you like to shake it and like to have it with your owner.
–We have another dog (who’s 3) who loves to run and play with Keely. They wrestle and chase each other, but Keely gets tired of it sooner than Kam does.
That’s awesome that’s awesome. and so what is your house look like is it tall is it short ?
It is one story One story it has windows on the back.— We have a 1-story house and we have windows and the back door that allow them to view the deer and squirrels that run in the field behind us.
You get in the car and go for walks. You have to be on a leash sometimes.
Is there a place where you can go where you don’t have to be on a leash?
I see you going on walks when you’re not on leash.
–We do take them for rides in the car and for walks. She has recently been allowed to run off-leash as long as she listens well and recalls when we ask. She’s been doing very well with this and seems to love having that “freedom.” When we walk around on the streets, we keep them leashed, but when we go for walks in the woods or fields, we can let them off leash because there are no cars or people around.OK, I get the sense of coastline. is bushes not big forest. with other dog and come back to your mom and maybe your dad your family goes sometimes or some different people. not just your mom,
–We don’t live by the coast, but we do live by the woods (and there are some small bodies of water around). Occasionally we have a friend or someone join us on a walk, but most of the time it’s my wife, myself, and the 4 pups.Where is your favorite place to sleep inside or to rest inside? Show me inside your house. Do you have a couch that you can get on and you like that? I’m getting a sense that another dog is smaller than you. I just see you on the couch.
— She likes to sit wherever I am, so she’s usually on the couch and she sleeps on our bed. Two of the other dogs also sit on the couch with us, and if it’s a tight squeeze, the smallest dog will lie down on top of the others/me.
— You nailed this. 🙂 She loves food of all kinds, but she loves human food and soft/wet food. She won’t turn down anything, but she definitely has preferences! So how did and your mom meet? how did you come to be with her? I’m not getting anything. Did you have a life before you met her?
Yes. you don’t really care about talking about it.
It’s really important, the life you have now life and your mom. Gratitude and joy always.
–We got her when she was 12 weeks old, so she didn’t have much life (in this lifetime) before we met, but we’ve been together for 5 years. It makes me happy that she feels gratitude and love.If you could change anything at your house what would you want to have?
More time. That would be good for you.
–I can feel this one. I’m home (I work from home), but I’m distracted for 10+ hours a day, and I know she wants me to be available. I used to work a hybrid schedule, so I would go into the office 3 days a week (which she hated), but I think it’s almost just as hard having me home but not available. I’m trying to retire early so I can spend more time with them.OK do you know how old you are? you think you’re six years.
you go from room to room sometimes looking for someone to play with or to interact with. to connect with. you bark sometimes to get their attention.
Do you bark a lot when you’re walking? When you’re in back playing you bark. Sometimes she asks you to bark.
— She is 5 years old, and she will absolutely bark to get our attention or to tell us when she wants something. She can be quite mouthy at times, and it’s always funny to me. Sometimes we’ll howl and try to get her to howl with us (which she does). She likes to do it when we hear sirens.Sometimes you lay on the floor while she works on the computer and you wait.
Does she go away to work? Does she leave the house and go to work?
— we covered this part.. I’m home, and she sleeps on a dog bed near my desk. They interrupt me throughout the day for treats and breaks.she leaves the house but you’re not sure where she goes. You wait. You can’t go out on your own. You have to go to the door and bark
— She gets so sad when I leave this house (which isn’t super often anymore, now that I work remotely).Anything else you’d like to tell me any special message for your mom or for me?
I love you mom. I am here for you.
–She’s a sweet girl.Wanna tell me what your purpose is? It’s joy. it’s to bring joy and to be joy and I’m always ready to make her feel loved and help her in anyway that I can whatever she does. I want to be there and support her with my presence and help her. I also bring joy to the house and everyone in the house. I connect them all. They all connect to me to and through me.
–SO true. All of them are so connected to her and look to her for support, love, play, etc. She’s a fan favorite, and she’s very attached to her family. She’s definitely my support and makes me feel loved. You’re amazing you are such a joyful curious presence do you have anything else? any other message you wanna say? anything that you want?
Want to go in the car for more walks and wonder if they bring a ball or something like that. you like it when you all walk together.
— I’ll make sure we keep doing that for her 🙂OK good, that’s good OK[/quote]
— Thank you, Penny! You did a great job and got some really good info from Keely. Keep it up!

Platinum MemberThanks for your feedback. As I continue this practice I realize that a big part of it is translating what I sense into words for human consumption. I think more than anything else, that is what sometimes interferes with the message. Thanks so much for your feedback. I look forward to reading what you get from my cat and giving you feedback next Month when Opie 1 Canoli is the FAT.

Silver MemberKeely is a sweet, calm dog. She has never been an alpha type of animal, she is happy to leave that position to others. She has this air of harmony about her, she is in peace with life and enjoys it. She is not demanding, has no special wishes, she has got everything she wants, she just wants the usual, basic stuff like attention, love, food and a stable home. She loves eye contact with you, Erika, and to be addressed with her name. This makes her feel special and gives her a deep feeling of bonding.
People should not worry about the look on her face, she cannot smile like a human. She is a dog.
Considering her age, she is in quite good shape. Nothing ails her too much, just a bit when the weather is damp.
She feels okay with your other dogs, also the newcomers. She has no problem with the quick, loud, demanding ones (Kam). She knows her place in the lot and knows that she is appreciated. She has no problem with others being different in behaviour. On the contrary, she finds that interesting.
She is an easy dog to have as she is easy to please and does not need to be entertained constantly. She resides in herself and does not need outside action / motivation / entertainment so much. She is simply happy.
With her way of being she contributes to a lot of stability.
Does anybody drive or have a jeep/van/truck which is open at the back ? She would like to know what it is like to drive in one of those being in the open back. Maybe you know the film CAST AWAY (1) with Tom Hanks. At the very end of the film he drives that type of car that I mean to a farm to deliver the last Fedex package. So that kind of car it is.
I think she likes driving generally and wants the windows to be open when driving and breathe in the fresh air (and stick her head out, if possible).
You are a great person, Erika, by the way. Very happy too, I feel, with lots of energy, buoyant personality. You are in the driving seat of your life. And you do it your way, just as you (and we all) are supposed to. You are a doer, going forward. To take a decision (even if it turns out not to be the 100% right one) is sometimes better than not to take any decision and I think you live by that.
Ashton says that you are a person that « does not look and turn away ». Keely says, Ashton is the spiritual one.
So a lot of appreciation coming from your dogs …
Thanks in advance for your comments on the above impressions,
Warmest regards,
Gabriela-

Platinum MemberWow, Gabriela, I’m speechless. Phenomenal work!
Keely isn’t an alpha, but she still seems to be the leader of the pack (none of them are overly alpha). She is a very calm, happy girl, and she loves food, attention, and being part of the family. She does make eye contact with me often, and she wags her tail when I talk to her/say her name, do I make sure to do it as much as I can.
It’s good to hear she’s physically well. She’s seems rather healthy, but it’s always nice to get their confirmation of that.
You’re right that she does so well with the others in the house – cats and dogs! She spends the most time with Kam and Ashton (or they spend the most time with her), and she handles their different personalities and needs gracefully. She’s everyone’s friend, and she does bring a lot of stability. The others would be much more neurotic/chaotic without her! She’s an integral part of the family.
She loves to sniff out of the open car windows and we do have a small truck behind our house that we don’t really use. I told her we would take her for a ride in it and she and I can sit in the truck bed to give her all the fresh air. 🙂 I hope she loves it! Our main vehicles are all closed in, but we do open the windows in my car whenever we take them places.
You are so kind. Your perception of me and the feedback from Ashton made me cry. I try very hard to give them the best lives possible, and I also strive to be happy and positive while moving life forward (for all of us). To know my dogs see, feel, and appreciate that means everything to me.
Thank you 💜
